"alright children we are going to start with cooking. This is a skill that you will need once you leave the orphanage. Who has cooked before?" the housekeeper asked

Sky and Sterling walked into the classroom silently. They were both late but with Sterling being blind and only seeing people's spirits to know where she was going and Sky being only six, she didn't remember where places were very well.

"Because of my past I've had to cook for Rosie pretty much everyday since she was born." Vindle said.

Chip raised his hand. "Before I moved here to the Orphanage, I was taught how to cook by my Mother." he said.

Kyo was pretty sure he had cooked before. It was very basic stuff, though. Only a few things he had learned from his mother and a few creations he had made on his own when he was taking care of himself. Those weren't all that good, though, so he wasn't sure if they counted. He continued staring at the floor.

At the mention of cooking, Daniel slumped onto the table. Now he remembered what this class was about, and why he never remembered anything about it. Cooking was boring to him, tossing ingredients in and waiting mind-numbing minutes before moving on to the next step.

Sterling instantly caught on what they were talking about. She definatly didn't know how to cook since she was blind. She normally relied on Sky for everything since all Sterling saw was a black plain and white glowing bodies with no form or ghost of people, dead people which just confused her even more.

Sky looked up at her sister. She had no idea how to cook, she only knew how to beg for food since that was her way of feeding her sister and herself when they lived out on the streets.

"Excellent I am glad to see that some of you have had some cooking experience. We start with the basics and work our way to more elaborate items. Because we have a couple of younger kids and a couple of blind girls I am going to pair you up. Daniel I want you with Katherin, Vindle I want you to help Trevor, Kyo I would like you to help Sky, Chip I want you to help Sterling."

Chip heard he was going to be helping a girl named Sterling. He hadn't met her yet, so he assumed she was one of the many residents of the Orphanage that were blind. He was going to meet this girl, when the teacher allowed them to meet up with their partners.

Kyo lifted his head and looked around the room. He didn't really know who Sky was, but perhaps she would make herself known. Or maybe he should make himself known first? Was there paper around here...?

Daniel sighed. He never did have the patience for cooking, and would definitely rather be doing something else, but the last thing he needed was the housekeeper's wrath on him. He instantly ran over to Katherin's side, smiling at her for a second, then returning his attention to the housekeeper.

Chip got out of his chair and stood up. He walked over to the girl named Sterling. "Hello, I do believe I'm your assigned partner. I'm Chip Coins." he said.

Finally finding some paper, Kyo took out a pencil and wrote down something to hopefully get his partner's attention. He held it up and looked around the room again.

Sky spotted the paper with her name on it and she skipped over to the boy her hair changing from blonde to black.

"I'm Sterling Autumn." Sterling said looking at the white blob that was Chip in her vision.

"Pardon me asking, are you one of the residents of this orphanage that are blind?" Chip asked.

Kyo watched the younger girl approach, smiling when he noticed her hair change color. That was an interesting ability.

"Technically I would be considered blind but my ability is to see a person's spirit so to me you're a big white blob and then I can also see ghost at the same time so it makes things even more confusing for me." Sterling explained

Sky got over to Kyo. "Hi. I'm Sky, Sky Mika." She said softly as her eyes went back to their chocolate brown color.

"I see." he said as he summoned a penny and began spinning it again. "I have absolute control over riches and wealth. I can summon anything of value at will, and I can control to any degree."

Katherin smiled in the direction of her partner. "Hello you must be Daniel. I will be as much help as I can be."

"We are going to start with soup. Soup is pretty basic and easy to make. There are cookbooks at each station. You can make any type of soup you and your partner choose. If you need help just call out." The housekeeper told them.
