I will post tomorrow. It was a long day traveling and my brain is not up to the task. I am in a few one on one games where I can dash out a quick post, to keep things going. This is one of two games I am in where I like to take my time and actually try to write decently.

It is. In real life, I grew up in Pennsylvania and I live in Chicago. To me Pennsylvania is the most beautiful state. I have never been to another country in real life, but I have been as far away as Canada, New England, Texas, Colorado, California and Florida. They were all interesting in their own way, but home is always best. I would love to have the time and money to be a world traveler. It is probably why I write about so many places where I have never actually been. Oh well, off to bed. Take care.

uhhh...cell phones weren't really around enough to be mentioning them at this point, right? lol I was about to mention it, but from research I see phones were in some cars in the early 90s, but that's it... So I'm assuming somebody like Alice wouldn't have one. I think.

No, your probably right. I have a soap opera game set in 1985 going and one of my players just mentioned cell phones and Lyme Coke in the same post. :)

haha! That's hilarious. btw I meant to say it sounds like you've been to a TON of places in the US, that's awesome! I know we should travel to more places in the US before kids come along (go up north, maybe out near las vegas) but we can't help but take a cruise or go to Florida each and every trip xD I mean there's only been 2 trips, but still.

It was awesome that the first time he went in the ocean was the Bahamas, though. It was like watching a little kid haha

The Bahamas.... Now I am jealous. I have been all over the states, but California was for a brother's wedding and Texas and Florida were when I was a little kid.

Hey it was a 5 day cruise with carnival for 550, food included! So we didn't get esch other gifts and I sold my compound bow so we could go. Couldn't pass up that price.

Oh no it's ok i had won it for free anyway. The team of kids I coach all shoot a certain kind, I didn't need it anymore :)

It may be a day or so before I respond. My brother is in the hospital.

He is on a respirator and sedated. He has had two units of blood already and is stable.

Wow...what the heck happened if you don't mind me asking? That's not just 'in the hospital', that sounds serious.

He had a back surgery two weeks ago. They gave him a blood thinner called heprin. He had a very rare reaction to it in which it caused clotting instead. The clot went from his leg up to near his lung. He was at less than 90% respiration and gasping for each breath. As it was, they airlifted him to Hershey Medical Center for more specialized care. He is in a private room now and his wife is with him, but unfortunately he is back in Pennsylvania and I am here in Illinois. It is a tough situation all around.
