A knight only gets one raiment.

Also knights generally don't know their families, being chosen as infants. Even Minato, who follows the traditions of his hometown, had to learn them from his master

Chukkle is in fact correct, Knights are chosen at a very young age and are trained from then onward, the only knights who really know their parents are ones who were knights themselves. As I said, a Knight's child will always be a Knight, so for them they do get to sort of raise their children, but the instructors super-cede them most of the time.

Secondly, a Knight's Raiment is his unique weapon that is perfectly suited to him, whether he knows it or not. It is the result of deep meditation to understand yourself combined with a magic ceremony to project the weapon itself. A Raiment however isn't only a weapon, it's an extension of the knight's personality, his symbol, his brand. So if you want to keep your Raiment as is, that's fine. I just want to encourage a bit more thought and care for it.

Actually, that raiment seems pretty accurate for her. It's kinda like her poisoned soul given litteral form,l. The only reason I'm not 100% onboard is that we already have a poisoner, but this one fits the weapon much better.

Name: Cyrus Reinhardt
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Personality: The blood of Nosk is strong, even if Cyrus was taken from his homeland long ago. Hailing from a place where only the strong survive, Cyrus places great value on personal strength and power as well as skill in combat, always seeking to test his mettle against whatever may come his way. Straightforward and often brutally honest, he dislikes taking roundabout ways around things when one could simply cut straight to the heart of the matter and especially dislikes "cowardly" approaches to battle.

Appearance: Standing at 6 feet sharp, Cyrus is a large, square-jawed man with piercing blue eyes, long dark red hair and the beginnings of what promises to one day grow into a remarkable beard. Beyond that, however, it's hard to determine what Cyrus actually looks like, as his body is permanently encased within his raiment, a bronze, draconic set of armor inscribed in runes from head to toe.

Backstory: Unlike many others, Cyrus was not the son of a Knight, not even tangentially related to a Knight in any way, shape or form in fact, and never really stood out that much either. A native of Nosk, known for producing headstrong, no-nonsense warriors, Cyrus' defining trait has been his dislike for having to rely on anything other than himself. Not just help from others, but having to use weapons or tools when his own body could potentially suffice. It was this drive for extreme self-reliance that led to his raiment's manifestation.

Knight's Raiment: Soulforged
Taking the meaning of the word "raiment" rather literally, the Soulforged is not a weapon but an exquisite set of armor which covers the entirety of the user's body. The armor is seemingly made out of polished bronze and its design is both obviously ancient and clearly evocative of dragons, a mixture of solid plates and small scales which together manage to cover the entirety of the body, coupled with a large helmet in the shape of a dragon's head. While the armor's material and design are eyecatching enough it's also covered in runes from head to toe, each scale inscribed with an individual symbol while the solid plate cuirass, pauldrons, gauntlets, grieves and indeed the helmet are covered in intrincate diagrams. Not a single symbol is ever repeated across the whole armor and the entire set seems to blend together into little more than decorative carvings, requiring close inspection to make it all out.

The Soulforged is a very practical raiment, instead of providing stranger or more complicated powers and abilities it simply boosts the user's natural capabilities to superhuman levels. The armor itself is very durable and provides effective defenses, even if it's not as powerful as wholly defensive raiments, and with it Cyrus is innordinately strong, fast and tough, posessed of amazing stamina and pain tolerance and gifted with enhanced senses to keep up with his body. In exchange it lacks the more complex uses and applications of other Raiments, makes the use of weapons or implements practically impossible (as they tend to simply shatter from the Raiment's power), limits the use of most Magistra (though this could very well be a trait of Cyrus' personality as well) and, perhaps worst of all, the Soulforged is seemingly permanently attached to Cyrus' body. The only reprieve from this is that the helmet is not a permanent manifestation, only forming around the user's head to initiate combat.

Skills: Spectacular unarmed fighter, skilled at wilderness survival, decent knowledge of flora and fauna, extremely capable athletics (good climber, swimmer, runner, etc).

Magistra:
-Dread Roar: Taking a moment to breathe in as much air as possible, Cyrus can release a bloodcurdling howl that creates a powerful sonic blast. The attack can cause pain and disorientation as well as knock back light objects in a small area, but its main use is to scream directly at someone close by, potentially shattering their eardrums.

Does "extreme environmental resiliance" count as a skill? That is, the ability to stand out in freezing rain or walk across a scorching desert and not even complain about it?

Sure, read the OP and get a character sheet up. Also, now with eight players, nine if I count myself, I declare this RP officially closed to new applicants. That is unless people start dropping.

Saw the first post and thought "Minato NEEDS to be able to call that hawk" So I'm adding animal husbandry to his skills.

I'm in agreement to some extent. I think the bird was supposed to have more of a purpose than simply waking the characters up. At least, that's how Lionheart made it seem.

I don't think we actually have our regalia guys. Pretty sure that, being rookies, today is the day of the ritual. Notice minato only has one sword.

Also I really don't see how it's a copout, since the bird has little meaning whatsoever.
