That's pretty much what I figured. Though his arrows aren't solid matter, they're some kind of shadow energy, if that makes any difference.

You shouldn't have to worry too much. According to his post he shot at both you and Ozzy with one arrow, so the most logical conclusion is that it's going to hit the ground somewhere between the two of you.

I read it.

I hope it isn't explosive, because if it is, that's a dick move because none of us had any indication of it being explosive.

I'm pretty sure it is. Or it can be... I just glanced over his CS this morning so I'm not completely sure.

There was no indication of it IC, but on the side of caution, I might do a manoeuvre with Steve where he dashes out of the blast radius and when Teo gets close, try to hit him with an uncharged fire spell, at around 600 degrees Celsius or something.

Or you could go with the original plan and shoot it with fire, making it detonate early.

Or, use telekinesis to stop it and launch it at Teo.

He is a Mage, after all.

I'm just going to pipe in and say that there is almost no way that arrow hits me before I hit LeeRoy's character, if it hits me at all, which I find unlikely because of the cloaking.

Max's guy can see smells. So unless your cloak hides your scent as well as electromagnetic signature he can see you.

Well consider this, Almeiden's armor covers the whole of his body like a second skin, that means it is airtight. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he gives off little to no smell, at least not any organic one at any rate.

The gap in Grey Nasty's scent would be more than enough of an explanation as to why he could see him.

As Grey Nasty is quite rotten, and has a very large area of where he would put off a scent. And besides, that stab of yours isn't going to work well.

Unless the armor has ventilation, he'd suffocate before be could get any kind of attack in. Not to mention the exceedingly rancid smell he'd constantly have to be dealing with if the armor never let air out (though again, he'd be dead before he ever had to deal with it).

LeeRoy's tactic works too though.

Come on, the armor is made of a material that can shift in to practically anything, you don't think it could provide air, or at the very least recycle it? Or reabsorb aviny body wastes that he gives off, eliminating the smell. And in any case he wouldn't stay in airtight mode all the time. Just when needed, like I don't know, in combat.

Also, he would not be able to locate me still because if my character is giving off no scent he would smell no different than the background, scent doesn't work like sonar, you can't detect something that way by the absence of it, if he could detect airwaves or pressure or something I'd agree with you, but scent just doesn't work that way.

There's also the immense heat and burning stench of the flash forging to home in on. Even if the sword itself wouldn't give off a scent (which, frankly, would be a pretty fantastic ability) the air would be burning at that high of a temperature.

And with regards to the creation of air and such, the issue isn't whether or not the armor COULD do it, it's whether or not it is, and you never said it was. Coming in after the fact and saying "oh, it was doing this during your post so your move is invalid" doesn't work unless it was specified as doing that (whether in a prior post or as a standard operating procedure in a CS), or is commonly understood to be the way things work. For instance, I don't have to write my character breathing in every post, because he's more or less human and that's what we do, but I would have to write him holding his breath in order to avoid a poison gas attack. What I couldn't do is say that he's been holding his breath for three posts if no mention of it was made in the previous two.
