Name: Wang CuiJian, known primarily as Dr. Wang
Age: Unknown, probably really old
Apparent Age: Early 70s
Gender: Male
Gift: N/A
Birthplace: Unknown
Profession/Rank: Medical Professional on board the Thunderchild
Kensai Piloted: 假行僧 (Fake Monk)
Affiliations: Thunderchild
Physical Appearance: What anyone would expect out of an old Asian doctor, one would see out of Dr. Wang. He has a stature no greater than six feet. He has a wrinkly old face on which his eyes are almost indistinguishable from his deeper wrinkles thanks to his squint. A long white beard covers drapes down his chin and a fu manchu mustache hangs over his lip. The top of his head is completely bald. Though his back is straight due to his own medical knowledge, Dr. Wang must still support himself with a metal walking cane.
Clothing/Armor: Dr. Wang is normally seen in a white doctor's coat with a stethoscope hanging around his neck. He wears no sandles, and chooses to walk around wearing wooden sandals.
Weapons: A special button on Dr. Wang's cane folds back the metal and reveals a beam sword.
History: As far as anybody on the Thunderchild knew, Dr. Wang was one of the few people who lived on the secret shard that the Thunderchild's crew held, and the only person alive who was actually born there, before it became a shard, that is. Dr. Wang grew up as a normal person raised on the shard, his parents doing what they could to rotate crops to grow food for him and the rest of his family. It isn't known whether or not Dr. Wang actually had any siblings, though he will occasionally mention an older brother he once looked up to. It is also unknown where Dr. Wang received medical training. The crew widely speculates that he actually self studied by means of the myriad of books he keeps in his personal shelf, some of them littered over the floor of his room on the Thunderchild, all written in Chinese.
He had apparently been with the Thunderchild's original crew when he was younger, then helped raise the current crew as the ship's doctor and medicine man. Though he often used strange and sometimes questionable cures, he almost always found a way to make the crew feel better. It is also known to the crew that Dr. Wang's parents once had him study music in the form of violin, piano, and zither lessons. He was also known to have studied Chinese acupuncture and martial arts at some point.
Dr. Wang received his Kensai from the original crew of the Thunderchild, the Kensai looted from a UN dump yard and retrofitted with different parts the crew was able to come up with. Dr. Wang named it himself, and was even once known to have been an amazing pilot. However, as he grew older, Dr. Wang became less and less able to use the Kensai.
Other: Dr. Wang refers to Kensai as Fu ZhaiQuan, and talks with a thick Chinese accent.

Kensai Name: Fake Monk
Kensai Pilot: Wang CuiJian
Kensai Weapons:
Arm Zithers: Several strings on the Fake Monk's left forearm, capable of being played by the right hand of the mecha to produce a sound typical to a zither. The strings can be detached at one end to create an 18 tailed whipping energy weapon.
Powered Speaker: The Fake Monk is equipped with an advanced sound system capable of receiving wireless signals from other Kensai belonging to the Thunderchild, namely those which operate the Sonic Disruptor, and can amplify the sound over ten fold.
Kensai Armor: A heavy mecha which moves slowly but gracefully.
Kensai Engines: A Violectrolysis displacer reactor assembly or VDR propulser system that was developed in the Tunderchild to help make the best out of the new operating environment as well as traversing the rift between shards. Also comes equipped with standard comm system and long range scanners and detection systems.
Kensai Appearance: Has a sort of a Chinese monk aesthetic with thick armored plates running down the Kensai which appear like long flowing robes. The Kensai's crest was taken out, replaced by six dots over the forehead which can receive radio signals. It is also quite bulky, retrofitted so that it would work in all-terrain as an amphibious vehicle.
Kensai History: The Fake Monk was salvaged from an old UN reject unit that was tossed aside in the trash, fished out by the Thunderchild's original crew. They fixed up the machine and implemented their own technology. With no one to pilot it, however, they gave the Kensai to Dr. Wang as a token of gratitude for tending to the crew's medical needs.
