Kalinda didn't try to fight him as he picked her up, too tired for that. And it was nice to be cared for like that, and she just relaxed into him, but she did look around his room as he pput her down on the bed. "But I'll make your bed all dirty" She said, with a yawn. "but too comfy to move now" She said, snuggling into him happily.

She let her eyes close, and for a minute or two, it seemed like she was asleep, but she said, "Not your fault. I was too angry and upset and let myself get caught. No paying attention" She looked up, eyes open now

Michael shrugged, "if I had not let myself be convinced by my dad that everything was alright I would've known something was wrong sooner than I had realized." He put his arm around her waist, he was on his side facing her, he kissed her forehead "kali get some sleep."

He drifted off after a few minutes had passed, he was more relaxed in his sleep than he's been for the past week of dealing with all of the nightmares in his mind if you were close enough you could see the circles under his eyes.

Kalinda was troubled, but eventually drifted off to sleep. she slept long, deeply and soundly, feeling safe and warm. She found she didn't want to wake up, but when she did, she knew she had to get up, but found herself reluctant to rise.

She sighed, opening her eyes, surprised to see that it was morning, and that she had slept the night through. She blinked, and rubbed her eyes, looking around Michael's room, and she smiled.

Michael slowly woke up before dawn, he had quietly gotten out of bed as to not to wake Kalinda. He didn't bother for a shirt, he pulled on a new pair of shorts. Before walking out onto the balcony of the tower looking over the city. He rubbed his eyes wiping the sleep from them, he had had no dreams last night which he was happy for.

He stared out over the city, he thought of all the times he had failed. He sighed, slowly letting his hands rest on the rail of the balcony he had to let go. Still he knew he wasn't ready not yet, the weight was still weighing him down, a few memories flashed through his mind it made him flinch but otherwise he was fine.

Kalinda sat up, looking about when she realised that Michael wasn't there. She rose, looking down at herself briefly, seeing the already fading bruises, and her still dirty clothes. But not having anything to change into, or rather, not knowing where to look, she settled for what she had on.

She went in search of Michael, finding him on the balcony. She watched him for a minute, before approaching him. "Morning" She said happily as she stood next to him, looking out over the city as well

Michael looked over toward Kalinda, "morning." He looked back over, the city. Slowly his hands tightened on the rail, turning his knuckles white befor he relaxed his hands again letting the memory pass. "I've got a question." He looked back over to Kalinda, "what would you do if you never met me?"

He turned around, leaning against the rail. Taking in Kalinda's appearance, she was still in his shirt and the shorts he had given her to wear for the night. He was wondering what her answer would be, to that exactly he had never gotten the courage to ask her before.

Kalinda blinked when Michael asked that question, and she looked over the city thoughtfully. She found it hard to imagine not having met Michael. "Probably just be looking for a purpose" she said after a time, looking back to him. "I never considered teaming up, or even ending up in a relationship. I always thought I was too weird, or too out there. Normal kids just don't get the whole hero thing. If I never met you, I imagine...well I imagine i would still be doing what I was doing. Hunting at night for criminals or for bad things that I could stop, never imagining something better out there"

She stared at him, trying to figure out why he had asked her that question. "You give me purpose, Michael" she said softly "I can't imagine my life without having met you"

Michael nodded, "just curious at the fact kali you give me a reason to my life to keep fighting when it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it out a situation alive or not you give me a main reason on trying to forgive myself I know it'll be a long hard process but I will eventually move on." He turned back to the city looking over it.

"You know what I imagine at times is all of the team having normal lives I know I can't change who we are just try to imagine us regular kids trying to make through high school." Michael laughed at the thought, "it's kinda hard to imagine sparky a normal kid and me with me being the genius and all."

Kalinda listened as he spoke, and nodded. When he said about normal lives, she couldn't help but laugh, "and then there's Tory who'll leave destruction in her wake when she looses control" she said, shaking her head "normal lives are over rated" she said with a shrug

"I like knowing I can go out there and help people, protect them, and stop baddies" she said "me as a normal teenager wouldn't be fun, I think. Badass, moody and unsure. Nah. I prefer this life!" She chuckled and smiled, shrugging again.
"Can I shower now? I think it would be good to loosen up my muscles"

Michael nodded, "go ahead I wasn't holding you here kali remember you were the one that came out here." He took one more glance at the city, before walking back into the tower. He sat at his desk, he pulled out his laptop, even though he had the most expensive computers he still used a laptop at times.

He brought up his email, he saw one message from fury. He didn't know why fury had emailed him, he opened the email, it had said that shield had hydra agents in it. He didn't even know that hydra still existed. He saw also the Connors father had been hurt in the process, and that they would need the team to hunt down the rest of the hydra agents.

"I know" Kalinda said, "I just don't know where the shower is, but I can explore" She said happily enough, and that's what she did, eventually finding the bathroom, and showering. It felt good to have the warm water flowing over her, and nice to get clean, as she ran her fingers through her hair, getting ride of knots. She eventually got out, and dried, leaving her hair half wet since it would just do whatever it wanted anyway.

She dressed in the same clothes, over her suit, struggling slightly without the whole use of one thumb. She sighed knowing she'd have to go to her mothers to at least get a change of clothes, and her tooth brush, as well as some of her weapons. She made her way back to Michael's room, seeing him at the laptop, "Something wrong?"

Michael looked over his shoulder to Kalinda, "hydra has been able to keep under shields radar and there were hydra agents in there rank Connors dad has been injured. Fury is sending us to go track down the rest of the agents, were to bring them back alive so they can face fury for what they have done."

Michael shuddered at the thought, "and they have hydra and shield training so it's going to be hard to track them and fight them. Since they have already read the files shield has on us so they know how we fight mostly." He sighed, placing his hands on the desk itself.

Kalinda leaned back on her heels as she listened, already thinking. It would be a problem, their fighting abilities and styles being known, and it would make things harder. So what could they do about it? To her, the answer was simple, even if it would be hard to do. "Well" she began, running a hand through her hair in thought, "then we change how we fight. We do something unpredictable"

She thought, starting to pace slightly. "I have to get my gear and such, but then I think we should meet up, and talk and discuss what to do. Somewhere safe" she said, stopping and looking over, hesitating, wondering if it would be safe to get her gear or not

Michael nodded, "I can get every rounded up at the old stark mansion the mansion is basically complete on fixing everything that was falling apart. I'm just suggesting this really, after I get everyone rounded up I can go with you and go get your gear and such with you." He rubbed the back of his head at that, before turning around completely in the chair he was sitting in.

"It's going to be hard and going to have to make a few tweaks to my suit and such, then we can probably go and track them down and such." His eyes met Kalinda's, "I'm just suggesting I go with you to get your gear, so then your not alone this time and you have back up with you."

Kalinda nodded, with relief. "Thank you, I'd like that, if you come with me. But I'm worried about leading them to my mother, if there are watching. She can look after herself, but even she has her limits" she said, worried about her mother getting hurt. "If she wasn't so bloody stubborn, she'd accepted some help" she sighed.

She sat down, "I can help round everyone up, too" she said, wondering if there was some easier way of getting in contact with the rest of the team, thinking of a quick and easy way of informing the others besides on the phone

Michael nodded, turning around he sent out the email to the rest of the team as then writing 'meet up at the old stark mansion' he knew most of the team knew where that was. He then called Zach, and told him the same thing. Before going and grabbing his suit and putting it on.

He lead Kalinda out to the balcony, he had a good grip around her waist before he flew toward her place. The sun rise was amazing from the height they were at, the sky lighting up in a red and burnt orange color while the sun rose. He couldn't really pay attention to it since he was the one flying.

Kalinda offered what help she could, and smiled when Michael took her into the air once more. It was still an amazing experience, and the sun rising made it more so. "Normal air travel is ruined now" She said to herself with amusement, but soon, she sobered as they reached her place.

She opened the door with her key, moving inside and to her room Her room was typically for her. There were some books spread around her bed, and her floor, a guitar in the corner, some clothes strewn across the floor. She typically tidied her room at night, but hadn't been back since she'd been kidnapped, and thus hadn't cleaned it up. She grabbed a duffel, going to her closet and grabbing some of her weapons and gear, before throwing on a couple of changes of clothes, and going to her bathroom, grabbing her toiletry kit, putting what she needed in it, and adding it to the duffel, before grabbing a photo album and throwing that in there too.

She would have liked to grab her guitar too, but figured it was too large to move with quickly. She took a moment to put on a shoulder harness for a gun, sliding the gun into it, and placing some knives around her body, before slinging the duffel over one shoulder. She sighed, and went to find her mother, but she wasn't there, and Kalinda guessed that despite it all, Natasha had gone to see how Mr Rogers was. So she went back to Michael, "Okay, ready"

Michael waited outside while Kalinda was getting what she needed, he looked around it was a nice place to live. Some people just saw the rich kid that he was, only the team had seen past his sarcastic remarks and the distance he kept from them on them getting to know him.

Kalinda had broken through those walls he had taken years to set up, in just one day. He was glad that she was able to, but still he was scared about her turning her back to him. He didn't like that thought, so he pushed that to the back of his mind when she came out. He made sure she had her duffle over her shoulder, before grabbing her waist and flying toward the old mansion.

Kalinda shifted her duffel as Michael took to the air again, making sure it was zipped up. She looked about as they travelled, letting her thoughts roam. She tried to think what they could do, to fight hydra, and wondered what would be a good way of being unpredictable. Could they someone draw hydra out, get them to come to them? She didn't know. She shifted slightly, wishing she had put a jacket on, breaking her train of thought.

She didn't know how long they traveled, but was happy when they arrived, looking about them, shifted her duffle, she looked about to see if there was any signs of the others being there already

Michael landed in front of the mansion, he had a feeling the others were already here and invited themselves into the mansion. He didn't mind that, the place hadn't been used in years anyway. He took his helmet off, as he opened the door, "of course your the last two here just like a stark fashionably late." He heard that from Connor, Michael laughed, "more like I had to stop by Kalinda's place for her to grab clotes and stuff, how's your dad?" Connor shrugged, "recovering he swore he saw his old friend Bucky."

Michael's eye brows went together, "Bucky Barnes?" Connor nodded, "there's been reports from a few other people that I've emailed that they've seen the guy that my dad fought." Michael thought for a moment, "I guess this just got way harder than expected good thing this place isn't what meets the eye." The others followed him to the living room where the fire place was Michael pulle one of the candle holders on the wall and the fire place moved out and apart to show an elevator behind it.
