Michael laughed some, "you know that nickname doesn't bother me anymore. The only person I can't come up with a nickname is Hannah lightning boy said something about a group meeting or something I wasn't quite paying attention to what he said when he came to the infirmary."

He sighed, as he kept working on the suit, after a few hours the suit was back up and running. "Oh and uhhh star spangled said you were the first one to come and get me or look for me as a better term the first thing is why and don't say it was because of my dad I already know that reason."

Kalinda wondered what nickname he had for her, but didn't press it. She was sure he would enlighten her eventually on it. "I never called you Micky to bother you. I did it because I like Micky as a nickname" She said softly, shrugging at the mention of a meeting, "Sure, essentially whenever someone decides to round everyone up. So when I decide" She laughed, but sobered quickly.

When he asked why she had been the first to come and get him, or look for him, she could feel her cheeks heat in a blush, and shrugging, she turned away. She was silent for a few moments. Finally, she sighed, and said,"Well, I needed to make sure you were okay. Because its my fault you are here. I convinced you..." That was only half the truth, and she grimaced, sighing again. "Because I wanted to"

Michael looked up from what he was doing on his suit. He stopped and looked at Kalinda , "because you wanted to kali. I can believe that since I would probably do the same thing for you," he felt his cheeks burn. He needed something he was good at something that didn't involve complicated words. He let out a sigh, "kali It wasn't really you who convinced me to come, it was more like get out of my fathers shadow and be my own self, I also did it for you I knew nick wouldn't leave you alone till you came and got me. Didn't want that so I came," he still felt his cheeks burning after that.

He turned back to his suit, it was almost repaired and then it would need to charge for at least, 12 hours at most to be at full capacity. He let out a sigh, he shook his head. As he returned to the work he was doing on the leg he would then turn his attention to the back of the suit. He knew that would be the place that would need more repairing than any other part of the suit.

Kali was a good shortening of her name. She liked that. Kalinda looked over at him, and smiled almost shyly, glancing away again as he continued talking. She sighed softly to herself, and nodded, "i know...but that means that its still my fault" She said softly, glancing to see him blushing, and she smiled brightly, shrugging, and swallowed, pondering what to say as he fell silent, turning back to his suit.

She bit her lip, unsure of herself. Kalinda didn't like being unsure of herself. All her life, Kalinda had felt sure of what she was doing, and how she was doing it, but right now, she just felt confused. Kalinda had never before been confused in her life. Maybe Mother's right... But that was just too horrible a thought for a kid to contemplate.

She took a deep breath, "Mickey?"

Michael looked, up from the damaged back of his suit. "Yah?" He knew he wasn't exactly good with words, he really didn't get his mothers side where he was good with words. Mostly though, he had his mothers looks. He waited for what Kalinda would say, he set down the tools in his hands on the table.

He rested his hands, on the edge of the metal table. His blue gaze meeting hers, he didn't feel right it was like something was off to him. It had been a long time since he had felt this way, at least he hadn't felt this way since school when other kids treated him differently than he wa raised.

Kalinda shook her head, "never mind" she said, still unable to think if what to say, or do, and she finished up what she was doing "I'll go round everyone up" she managed to keep her voice neutral and toneless. It gave her a way to escape, to get herself under control and get her back on balance. Get herself to be not confused. "Let them know you're up and then we can have that meeting" she fled back up, and went to find the others.

She found Hannah and Tort first and she very nearly took them aside to talk with them, but decided not to. She needed to sort herself out first. Then she went to find Zack and Connor, telling them once she had found them that she thought a meeting was in order. She tried to act normal,

Michael sighed as he watched Kalinda leave, before setting down his tools. Going to the room that was his, changing his shirt and jeans. Before heading toward the conference room. His phone went off in his pocket he pulled it out, just to find out the location of frost. He started running, once he saw the location. He swallowed he didn't know if they could get there in time or not.

He ran into the room, seeing that everyone was there. He was out of breath, "just got a hit on frosts location he's in Washington I don't know if we can get there in time, but we've got to try and get there if we don't.....no I'm not going to think like that but we've got to hurry though."

Kalinda was sitting with Tory and Hannah, talking low with them, a sense of relief flowing over her at having girls to talk with, and she smiled, because she had figured out a good nickname for both Hannah and Tory. She looked up however when Michael came in as if the devil was after him, and she bolted up, looking around to see if there was any danger, calming it didn't appear that there was anyone Chasing him, or any sign or sound of an attack.

"Jeez, Mickey-" she started to say when he began to talk, saying Frost was in Washington. "Then let's move" she said softly, already moving to her room, quickly stripping and changing into her suit, pulling the hood up so that she could be ready to use it's powers, the ability to shield herself and make herself invisible at a moments notice.

She put her weapons throughout her body, knives and guns, and made her way back to the command centre, all of it taking minutes. "I'm ready. Let's get there fast. What small aircraft do we have that goes fast?"

Michael got his suit on, he was back at the command center. His helmet under his arm, "there's a small jet that my father had made just for this kind of situation, to get to a place fast." He swallowed a bit, "I guess me and Zach can go ahead of the rest of the team and see what's going on."

Michael sighed, as he set the helmet down on the table. He sat down in one of the chairs, he didn't know what to say, he wasn't a guy with words he never was. He looked at the people in front of him, they were expecting him to say something, he only shook his head looking down at the table.

Kalinda shook her head vigorously at him suggesting that he and Zack go on ahead. "No" she said forcibly "we do not split up. We stay together, we arrive together at the very least. We haven't exactly been acting like a team, have we? It's why Mickey it hurt. It's why we have been sitting on our butts the last few days, instead of doing what we need to do" she looked at them all, preparing herself for a pep talk.

She meet each of their eyes, before continuing "we are either in this together, or not at all. We can't afford for one or two of is to go galavanting about, and maybe get killed. We can afford that, not for the people we are trying to protect. We need to pull our crap together and work together, use our strength and our weaknesses, and figure this out. Because even if we make it to Washington before Frost does something or escapes, it's not going to mean anything if we don't work as a team should"

She sighed softly, "now are we going to go kick butt or what?"

Michael looked from Zach to Connor they both had just gotten what they needed a pep talk. Michael stood up, "we've got to work together or this whole team will fall apart. When we act and work as a team, then were ready to send Frosts sorry ass to prison for good for what he has done." Connor and Zach nodded, "were going to kick Frosts ass he won't win today or ever." Michael smiled at what Connor had said, then Zach stood up, "I'm with Michael and Connor."

Michael's hand rested on the top of his helmet, he looked at the rest of the team. "If we had been prepared for that last attack here, then I wouldn't have gotten hurt only Connor had come with me while the rest of you protected fury. Fury could've protected himself, you've could've helped a like a real team a real team doesn't allow other teammates to go into danger without the rest of them there." He saw Tory and Hannah nod at that.

"So" Kalinda said with a smile, "Lets go, before something bad happens in Washington" She said, checking over her weapons, were they were on her body, and satisfied, she said she was ready. "What about your suit, Mickey? do you think it's going to be okay to use?" She asked, looking over, before continuing, looking over to Hannah.

"What about your weapons? Do you have a good stop of them? Tory, you'll be ready to go?" She looked over to zack and Connor, "Are you two ready too? If so, we just need a ship" Kalinda really wanted to get behind the wheel of a plane.

Michael looked down at the suit he just finished working on, "yah it's ready it's charged to 90 percent it should be enough to get through till tommorrow night." He stood putting the helmet on, "the jet my father had made is fast enough to get to Washington fast."

"Let's get moving then, I think were ready to get Frost out of the way. And throw him in prison for the rest of his life." He stood up, he led tem to the jet. "It'll hold all of us in it, and it'll get us there an back here kali I think you can drive us there." He walked into the jet itself, he held the ropes on the roof so he wouldn't have to sit down.

"You should put solar panels on it or something so it can charge as you fly" Kalinda said, shifting, as Hannah and Tory rose, preparing themselves. Soon, they were all ready, and Kalinda made to follow Michael

Kalinda smiled, and nodded, deciding not to mention that she didn't technically have a pilots license, mainly because she could fly a jet like this quite well. She happily sat in the pilots seat, settling in, and buckling up. She looked back to make sure everyone was in, and then began to start the jet up.

"Alright, dear team, if you'll all just prepare for take off" Kalinda said, "We can get on our way to kicking butt" She set her hands comfortable on the controllers, and then start to move, bringing the jet into the air.

Michael watched Kalinda get into the pilots seat, just before he started moving holding onto the ropes on the ceiling of the jet. He moved up to where he was behind the pilots seat, "hey kali if we can can we talk in private this thing has autopilot just set the coordinates and close the door to the pilot control center." He said as he sat down in the seat next to her.

He didn't know what he was going to say, about his feelings for her. He just had time to think alone about her he couldn't get her out of his head. No matter what the task was in front of him. He shook his head, just before taking his helmet off he looked out the main window before sighing.

Kalinda glanced over her shoulder as Michael approached, and asked if they could talk in private. She returned her gaze back to the sky, nodded "one sec" she leveled the plane out on a safe altitude, before turning the autopilot on, and leaning back to shut the door, cutting them off from the others. She turned her chair to face Michael.

She gave him a small, shy smile, realizing that they were in a small room together, and she crossed her hands in her lap, to prevent herself from fidgeting. She was suddenly nervous, and she knew that meant she might just disappear with her suits abilities, so she took a second to tape the good off, effectively preventing that, before returning her hands to her lap.

"What did you want to talk about?" She asked, relieved that her voice was normal

Michael sighed, he was nervous as hell to say this. "I just wanted to let you know before, we got to Washington that I like you a lot." He sighed, he looked at the floor he didn't know what to say after that. He looked down at the helmet that was sitting there by his feet, he swallowed it didn't go out like he pictures it in his head.

He looked at the door, then back at the floor. "I know you might not feel the same and I understand that I just needed to get it out before we got to Washington when there would be little time for ourselves I guess." He kept his gaze on the floor as he said what he wanted to get out.

Once more Kalinda seemed at a lose for words, and she didn't like that it seemed to be becoming a habit. But she did find it very cute that he seemed perhaps more nervous then she did, and she smiled, waiting for him to finish talking, and avoiding her gaze. She leaned over, gently lifting his face to hers. "For a genusis" she said softly"you aren't very good at seeing what's in front of you"it was really then that her own nervousness faded, and she smiled brightly.

Suddenly, it was easier to speak, to formulate her words, without sounding like an idiot, and without feeling like she wanted to run away, "I like you a lot too" she said, and for the moment she pushed aside every worry, and moved closer to him, kissing him softly

Michael met her gaze when he felt his head being lifted up, he smiled a bit at her words. Just before she kissed him, he was a little surprised but he returned her kiss. He broke it to catch his breath, he smiled that's when he saw Hannah's face trough the glass of the door looking at them he covered his face. great that's just great he sighed.

He looked out toward the sky, he didn't really know what to say now. Not really, not when Hannah knew what had exactly happened between them. "Oh and here," he took off and old necklace that his mother had given to him. "My mom said give it to the person you love i might as well follow what she said." It was an old silver necklace with an emerald in the middle of a circle of silver, he curled Kalinda's hand around it."

Kalinda looked over her shoulder when he covered his face, blinked at Hannah, and then poked her tongue out at her, and made a shooing gesture, smiling despite herself. They were a team, after all. She doubted secrets could be kept long in any case, she didn't care. She turned back to Michael, giving him a smile.

She watched as he took the necklace off, and put it in her hand, curling her hand around it, and she swallowed, looking down at her hand, opening it, and studying the necklace. "it's beautiful" She said softly, looking back up.
