Michael smiled a bit, "used to be my moms before she gave it to me when I was ten it was a while ago." He met her gaze, "and I just never got the guys to say it before now." He sighed, as he looks back out toward the sky, "oh and yah I think Hannah has a crush on Connor sometimes I saw the way she looks at him."

He sighed, "I guess she had never gotten the guts to say anything to him yet I don't really know." He settled back into his chair, "I don't really know if any of us are going to survive this that's why I wanted to tell you now just in case I was......killed on the battle field I don't really know if we can all make it out of this as one team."

Kalinda smiled softly, and brushed her hair back off her neck, putting the necklace on, and tucking it into her suit and clothes, for safety. "Patience is sometimes worth it" she said softly, looking back out to the back, through the door, "despite being an outgoing person, Hannah is really still quite innocent. She's probably waiting for some hint from him, before she says anything" Kalinda shrugged, looking back to Michael

"We will all make it out" Kalinda said, her voice strong, and determined. "We will go in as a team, and come out as a team. Together. We won't lose anyone" she was sure of that, more then convinced. "We have to believe that we can, and we will"

Michael sighed, "I still have my doubts kali." He looked back out at the sky, "just know this not everything is black and white there's other color in it some of us will probably not make it out of there but we will try our hardest to survive this and live trough this."

He put his hand on Kalinda's shoulder, kissing her one more time. Before getting up and grabbing his helmet and walking out. Once he was out everyone looked at him, "what?" Connor walked up to him, "wow man we didn't even know you had feelings." Michael punched Connor in the arm, "I do have feelings at least I don't keep them bottled up." Connor castes a glance at Hannah then looke back at Michael, "that's not cool man." He only laughed, "seems to me that you like Hannah." Connor looked at the floor but he didn't deny it.

I'll just have to believe enough for all of us then Kalinda thought, because there's no way I'm letting any of them die, not now.. She watched Michael leave, returning his kiss. Hating that if felt almost like a goodbye. "You're a fool, Michael" She murmured to herself. She didn't turn the autopilot off, simply leaned back in her chair, thoughtful, her hand going to feel the necklace around her neck.

No, there was no way she was letting anyone die today.

She leaned forward, and gripped the controls again, turning the autopilot off, ready to descend. Ready to fight, and ready to make sure they survived. She began checking to see if the jet had any weapons.

Hannah squirmed lightly, hearing her name, looking about, then frowning at Tory, who merely shrugged, and waved a hand towards Michael land Connor.

"You know" She said musingly, "Its rude to talk about someone when they're in the room"

Michael only shook his head, before grabbing the ropes above his head to help him get in a seat. Feeling the jet descend, he sighed it was now or never that they were going to be facing frost. He looked at Connor and Zach, they were thinking the same thing.

He put his helmet on just before the jet fully landed, he got out just to see a destroyed city in frot of him. That's when he saw the aliens, "crap looks like he found a way to open the portal. Zach you and me take the air we keep those things from hitting the ground, Hannah you have the same thing as me and Zach just find the highest roof and shoot from there Tory you can go smash these guys to bits and Connor your with kali for ground support everyone got that." He saw nods, "good" then he flew up into the sky killing any aliens coming his way.

Just before he started flying away aliens following him, Zach laughed himself into the air, throwing his hammer at aliens that were in groups. He flew to a metal building, held his hammer up and lightning hit it the lightning trailing down the building killing off any aliens that were on there way down to the street.

Kalinda snarled she saw the ruined city, and she rose as soon as she landed, pulling her hood up. She checked her weapons, and made her way out the ship. She had a gun in one hand, and a wicked looking long dagger in the other. She sighed, and watched Michael fly off.

She blinked hard, and then turned to Connor. "Lets go kick butt" She said, climbing out the ship, she looked about, for any wayward aliens. She knew they had to think about ow to close the portal, or the aliens would just keep coming, but she wasn't sure were to begin.

She moved to intercept an alien, shooting it in the head without much aiming, decapitating it as a second meassure.

Michael took out three or four flyers, before seven of them took there place. Hannah I'm coming your way pick off three or four," with that he passed by the building Hannah was on top of she did pick off three. A few more joined the chase, Michael saw Tory take out five for him. He turned backwards, and fired his thrusters took out three more, that was before he saw the big one, he swallowed. "Oh crap," with that he flew away from it.

Ghost had to think of something and soon, he had to think of a way to get rid of this thing. That's when he got the idea he flew towards the portal. At the last second he turned the thrusters off falling and watching as the beast took out a whole dozen before going down with a boom he activated his thrusters. That's when he took out a few on the ground seeing Connor out numbered before flying over them.

Kalinda, cut of from Connor, began to fire, to take down as many as she could, changing guns, she pushed up off the ground, in the air, jumping high, over the group, and began firing as she descended, her shots were perfect, getting each alien in the head. She looked up just as Michael came along, taking out a few. She landed smoothly, in amongst the aliens, and went at them with her knife, slashing, stabbing and moving through them.

She activated her suits ability to blend into the surroundings, and began to kill the aliens as she pushed amongst them, gettingtowards Connor,.

"Sorry" She said when she reached him, "I got a bit distracted"

Connor looked at her before returning to fight the aliens, ghost was going through the sky. Taking down aliens, in the sky. That's when he felt a shot hit his back he grunted in pain before firing more shots at them. He soon found frost, he landed on the roof him and frost started firing.

Soon though, ghost felt the heating system starting to fail, the suit kept getting colder each time he hit frost or blaster him with his pulsars. By the time they broke apart, Michael was shaking. He took off the helmet and dropped it to the ground before he started attacking frost once more. Exchanging blows each time, frost had half of Michael's body hanging off of the roof.

Kalinda continued to fight, twisting about, using her flexibility to dodge any attacks smoothly and easily, changing continually from her dagger to her gun, making sure she had enough bullets, as well as using her other weapon collections and her hand to hand fighting skills.

As soon as the area was cleared, Kallinda was on the move, looking up her heart leaped into her throat, pounding horribly as she saw Michael. She turned abruptly, and made her way to the jet, and within seconds, she had it in the air, going towards the building, skillfully flying through the sky despite her inexperience.

She moved the jet, landing on the building, and activated her camouflage skill again, and moving out the jet. "Michael"

Michael was on the ground, shaking badly the suit only getting colder. He tried to open it, but the metal refused to move. "K-k-k-kali," his body kept shaking from the cold. He was sitting there leaning against the wall. He didn't see frost anywhere, "f-frost has the c-c-cube and the s-staff find the staff. S-shut down the, m-machine." He shuddered violently from the cold that was creeping through his suit.

He tried to move, but he was shaking to badly. He took a shuddering breath, he looked at Kalinda. "M-make sure t-that f-frost doesn't do the s-same thing to the o-others as he had to m-me." He couldn't even talk fully of the cold that was taking his body slowly from his suit.

Kalinda jogged over to Michael, kneeling down beside him, seeing him shacking, grimacing, as she tried to help him open the suit, to get him out, to warm him. "Ssssh" She said, grateful for her gloved hands as she touched the cold metal of the suit, as her mind rapidly sought how to at least heat up the suit slightly.

She glanced about as he talked, nodding, "I'll tell them. I'll shut down the machine. After I make sure you won't freeze to death." She thought on the cold days, when she'd wake up to find a layer of ice on her car, having to use tap water to melt the ice off.

She rose and found a fire hose, knowing that if she tried to heat up the suit with too much heat, it would fracture, or crack, and probably hurt Michael. "Do you think this would work?" She asked, "using tap water to warm the suit up slightly to break you free?"

Michael looked at the fire hose, "s-should be enough f-for the metal t-to open up." Michael swallowed as the suit kept getting colder, he needed to get out of this suit and soon or he would freeze to death. He didn't want to die, or any of that he was scared out of his mind right now, but he didn't show it he didn't need Kalinda panicking.

Soon he felt water on him, after a few minutes. He tried to get the suit to open and it did, once he was out he laid on his back shaking from the cold of what the suit had given him and the sudden change in the whether. It would take awhile for him to get used to heat again after why he just had gone through.

When Michael was out of his suit, Kalinda turned the water off, dropping the hose. "I told you, no dying today" She said, unable to keep the relief out of her voice, as she knelt down beside him. "Let's get you into the ship, and then I'll go after Frost"

She could easily grab a jet pack, and go after Frost, and shut the portal, but she feared the minute she left Michael alone, he'd get in trouble again. "We'll get the portal shut,and then deal with the Alien's that are left" She tried to sound confident

Michael slowly started getting warmer, the shaking slowly eased. "Let me get my other suit," he let JARVIS know, he knew his extra suit was on its way. He held out his arm, and each of the pieces flew onto him and once that was done he was holding the mask in his hand.

"Let's go and get frost and shut down this portal." He blasted another alien out of the sky, without taking his eyes off of Kalinda, he looked to the sky seeing the portal open. He ten looked back down to Kalinda, "let's get moving then or if we don't there will be no more city."

Kalinda blinked as he called the second suit. "Why didn't you do that before, when you fell from the sky instead of rebuilding it?" although she supposed it was a good thing he hadn't, watching as he blasted an alien from the sky.

She nodded, "You go, I'll round up the others" She said, "that way, we can attack together while finding the portal and closing it" Even though she didn't want to leave him, she knew she had to. "no more getting frozen" She said, as she picked up her gun and knife, sswitching the gun for another one.

Michael smiled at her, the mask of his helmet in his hand. "Right no more getting frozen learned my lesson." He walked up to her gave Kalinda a kiss, "just come and find me once you have the others I don't need to worry about you more than I should I know you can handle yourself but I can't help but worry." With that, he put the mask on and flew off.

Once he was in the sky he looked for a machine that kept that portal open. If he could find the machine he would find the cube, he looked at other roofs just before he flew another direction aliens following him, he fired at them taking a few out of the sky before he made a sharp turn a few more crashed and he went into a parking garage. The rest flipping and exploding there flyers taking them with them.

He returned to looking at other roofs, he soon found the machine. He got close to it, just to rebound off of an unknown force. "Damn looks like this thing will be harder to shut down than I thought." He said into the comm that he had with the others. That was before he got blasted, by the staff frost was holding. He grunted the grunt going over the comm before it went quiet on his side. "Well well looks like you survived," he looked up at frost "JARVIS what the heck is going on my comm went dead." "Sir I believe he has put up a counter to make sure you can't contact the rest of the team," Michael growled just before him and frost started to fight each other this time Michael kept his distance.

Kalinda smiled, nodded, and returned his kiss, "right, I'll do so. I don't mind you worrying about me, Mickey" she watched him fly off, swallowing. She didn't linger there long, and made her way back down to the street. She began the hard search of finding the others. She took out whatever Aliens she could, yelling at normal humans to find cover, to get off the streets, and to stop getting in their way.

She found Hannah first, following the destruction of alien bodies with arrows in them, to a building and then climbing it until she found Hannah. "Come on chicky, lets go find your lover boy so we can save mine. No doubt Mickey has gotten himself in trouble again" she said it fondly, jokingly, but she was more then worried.

she led the way back down, easily dispatching more aliens, with the help of Hannahs bow and arrow. She knew Hannah was more then skilled to shot and at least miss getting her, so Kalinda didn't worry about finding herself with an arrow in the back.

she just stepped out the building just as Tory came crashing past. It was strange seeing the normal shy and quite Tory smashing aliens, buildings etc, and Kalinda had to stop and watch a minute, before whistling to get her attention.

"This way" kalinda called, before going to track down Connor and Zack, and then finally find Michael again. Kalinda had noticed the drop in communication, and she grew more worried with each passing moment. She looked about them as they searched, killed and made their way through the city, finally seeing Michael in the air, fighting.

Blasts of blue energy missed Michael by an inch. Frost wasn't giving him an easy time to dodge and shoot, of course he wasn't, Michael dodged another blast. He fired back this time, before shooting some aliens down that were trying to get a good shot at him. He quickly got bak to fighting frost, again he saw the machine but frost wasn't letting him anywhere near the damn thing.

Frost had gotten a lucky shot it his one of the thrusters on his feet. Taking it out, he crashed onto the building. Getting up to his feet once again, he felt the staff on his chest. "You might've survived my ice but you can't survive this." With that he fired, the blast ripping a giant hole in the middle of the suit and make Michael fly back an hit the wall when he fell to the ground of the roof he wasn't moving.
