In this world of masters and servants, lords and vassals, you yourself are heir and future leader of a well astounded and rich family. In hindsight, you are an esteemed component to the higher society, enjoying all of life's grandest choices. In short, you are a princess who enjoys the spoils provided by your family's wealth and position. Indeed, life seems to be at its utmost bliss and you take great pride in this fact.
That is, until the dark times.
Your parents have been murdered. Brutally so. Butchered and torn apart, a message sent for all the world to see. Your pristine little world begins to crumble now as the family mansion begins to deteriorate. Your maids and butlers leave you, taking what little they can from your family's wealth and abandoning you.
You are alone in this world now.
Alone and scared. And very much vulnerable.
They come in the night. Looters and robbers alike that seek to exploit your misery. Fleeing in terror, you barricade yourself in the mansion basement, knowing that if you are caught they'd kill you. Or worse. Giving in to your despair, you break down and curse the world.
However, the world decides to answer your pleas back.
He appears before you. He arrives in your darkest hour. A tall man in a suit with blood red eyes. He is known as a harbinger of calamity. He is Damien. You back away in fright, old stories from your deceased mother surfacing in your head. That the name "Damien" is that of the Anti-Christ. As you run from this apparent new threat, they find you.
The burglars. The looters. The scum of this world. As they reach out to destroy and corrupt you, that man appears once more. Damien. He becomes your saviour. But he doesn't just kill these dogs. He doesn't just mutilate their bodies. He consumes them. Wholly.
You realize that this man before you is not human. Even stranger is that he claims to be your family's greatest servant as well as it's most deadly weapon. Thus, Damien swears allegiance to your family once more, vowing to protect you and become your guardian.
And thus begins your journey to seek the truth. The truth behind your family, their murder, and the dark secrets that lie hidden in plain sight in your society. All under the protection of an absolute monster. Damien asks for no thanks in return. He seeks only one small requirement in his continued servitude.
