Lyall's face probably matched Cybell's initial surprise when Sandra just blatantly gave up the duel and walked off stage. The audience was also surprised and even angry that such an exciting duel had been given up for no apparent reason. Everything from, "What is this crap?!" to "You COWARD!" could be heard from their shouts. Lyall shook his head in disappointment before taking one last look at Cybell. She was still frozen in fury and scorn, which would have been amusing to see if it weren't for the fact she was angry because she had won without truly winning.

Kerykeion leaned over to Lyall. "Follow her. Yamanari didn't exactly seem to be herself when she walked off stage."

Now that he thought about it, she did seem to be in some sort of trance. Might as well go and see what was up. Lyall turned away from the stage and sped off in the direction that Sandra had gone. Entering a hallway, he could see her rounding off into another turn, and so sped up his pace even more until he could see and talk to her without any difficulty.

"We may have just met today, but you didn't seem like the type of person to easily give up a duel when some super sized lizard on steroids pops up. What was that all about?"

''Ah its you...i been watching you converse with who used to own this body'' It that now had Sandra in its grasp turned around to face Lyall. Besides a starker tone and a harsher look in Sandra's eyes the real major change was her eye colour. It had switched from its normal brown to black. And it was a certain kind of black...the black night where no stars where lit-black.
''Unlike the former owner of this body, i see. And i see you are not alone.'' It said this in a mocking fashion, as if being around others was a sign of weakness. It started to come closer to him, walking strangely unnatural as if it was unused to the form it had now taken. Lurching forward as the light start to flicker in the corridor
''You have something i want. You have something i need'' the room started to get colder, the few people who where there started to leave rather quickly. Stranger things happened like the fact that the sound of the rooms ceiling fan stopped. It became deadly quiet besides the voice of it.

''Miss.Yammari wanted to forget all that she was. Now she has. Now i am the only one who remains here.''

Lyall stopped when "Sandra" turned around. She still looked the same for the most part, but it was clear that something unnatural had happened to her. She was possessed, and he assumed that it was by the very Duel Monsters spirit Sandra had put all her faith and love in earlier. What an ironic twist. Lyall had heard from Kerykeion that things like these could happen if the wielder of a powerful Duel Spirit wasn't strong enough to control it, or if the individual had struck some sort of deal with the spirit.

The Evilswarm spellcastress descended to the floor as "Sandra" began causing electrical anomalies around her, all while walking closer to her master. She held her Caduceus staff to the side, ready to strike if commanded to. Lyall shook his head, though he did imply that she should stay on guard.

"I have something you need? Funny, I was going to say the same thing to you. It'd be a good idea now for you to return to your rightful place and let Sandra have herself back, I'm not really interested in taking anything from her by force."

The Arbitrator had left his room a few minutes after the shocking end of the duel, and had found his way to Lyall and Sandra.

"Good, your both here. Or should I say all 4 of you? Right, Duel spirits?" His right arm appeared from under his cloak. His metallic gauntlet quickly changed form, revealing his duel disk, and a single card in the deck slot. "I would like to know what it is that you want, spirit, but first, I would like to ask you for something, Mr. Castellan." He pulled the card from the duel disk with his other hand. "Where is the card? I would like that card back."

Kerykeion let out a sound that sounded somewhat like a hiss against the Arbitrator. Someone obviously didn't like the guy. Ignoring this, Lyall grinned at the cloaked man before him. Finally! And he didn't even have to go through the trouble of dueling the other people to get to him! The duelist brought out his own duel disk in case of a duel, but didn't do much else that could instigate the man. He didn't need him as an enemy after all.

"What, this?"

Lyall pulled out the envelope from his inner coat pocket, slipping the card out of it. Now that he could actually see it, Lyall took a good look at it. It was a Level 6 monster card named "Vile Arbitrator"....

...

Lyall honestly expected it to be a bit more impressive than that, but he knew that all cards could have some hidden potential within them. Considering this guy wanted it back, it probably had a role to play in their work, but Lyall decided he wouldn't be giving it back this soon.

"No thanks, I think I'll keep this for the time being, 'Shadow Duelist'."

He slipped the card and envelope back into his pocket before continuing his conversation with the Arbitrator.

"I want answers from you first, and I'd also like to put forth a proposition for you and your two cohorts now that we can talk face to face."

Ryu had followed Lyall and Sandra after the duel had ended and now stood just a few feet away listening intently. He wanted to see this for himself and knowing Lyall had something they wanted made him smile. After a second he gave in to the temptation and walked forward to the group smiling wickedly.
"Now now gentlemen no need to cause a scene right?" He said looking to Lyall and back to the Arbitrator. "Might look bad if thr Arbitrator is singling out duelists." He said leaning a bit closer to the robed man.

The being shurged, smerking rather un-sandra like.
''What is there to give back? She is gone now.'' It pulled out Sandra's deck as if to prove it was right. Holding it in front of Lyall and his little fan-club of duel spirt. It smirked it was more now then a simple ghost, it was a fully-fledged being
''Every duellist creates a deck. He chooses from monsters, spells and traps. Each one of them complementing each other. You can tell alot of who someone is by what they build, if they are greedy, poor, kind or cruel. Your duel with your power proves that your a powerful duellist. Sandra's duel proved that she was a resourceful duellist. Its all in the cards...and now?'' It tossed the cards across the hall making them land everywhere across the corridor. Every single card, trashed against the ground as the being started to giggle
''Now they are useless to me, they never had what it took to be a true duel monsters champion just like Sandra never possessed what it took to become anything more then a fearful child'' After its giggling stopped it turned again to Lyall as it started to advance slowly, crushing the cards underfoot
''Why would anyone want her back? Especially you.''

Lyall watched as Sandra's cards were crushed under the being's steps. If this thing really believed what it was saying about decks having a duelist's heart and soul poured into them to be created, then it was now even more painfully obvious it had disdain for Sandra. For what reason though? Did it just not like the fact Sandra would have been able to contain it had she not made whatever deal she did with it?

The duelist scooped up most of Sandra's deck that had fallen before him, stacking the cards together before placing them in his pocket. The being continued to ask Lyall questions.

"Personal reasons," Lyall said in response to why he would want Sandra back. "As for you though, if you are the spirit I think you are, then I have a proposition for you as well. Your power can be used to help one of my great monsters recover his strength. If you give up Sandra's body and agree to do what I say, then the process will be painless and you'll still be left intact after it's over with. If not though...."

Ryu cut in, smiling sinisterly at him and at the other people before him. Looks like the Infestation Surge from Moth had done its work, now Ryu was tainted with the Iswarm's dark influence and therefore more susceptible to Lyall's.

"Ah, Ryu. Good to see you brother. I trust the taint has been treating you well. Stand down for a while, we can discuss what I have in mind for you later..."

Ryu looked to his brother still smiling. Jain had chuckled behind him and that only made him smile more.
"Sure I'll stand down for now. And yes it has treated me wonderfully but the Lightsworn were able to give me a last gift before becoming tainted themselves. I have a will of my own brother, we work as partners now master and servant." He said his smile fading slightly.

Oh fortunate the other brother had arrived, his weak soul also fallen to the influence of the dark powers of the stronger brothers deck. The being took a few steps back and waited for the two brothers to make their own little conversation. It had time after all, it has time now to enjoy this meat for what it was, a sack of disposable meat. It stood up naturally if somewhat stiff leaning towards the wall smirking to itself
''You two needs to sort these things out. Don't mind me.''

It started to hum something quietly to itself. That girl it walked out on...wonder what she was doing now? The fuel in her veins was rage, unrepeated unending pure as a flame rage. She would no she needs a rematch, one where she crushes the weakling who walked out on her. Kinda romantic in the same way a serial killer writes love letters. She would be fun to cool off, but first it needed to rebuild its ancient deck she used to have. Her dragons where whiffs in the wind. It shout know, it let each and one of them attack it. it giggled

As the being stepped back, Lyall took the chance to gather up Sandra's remaining cards to place with the rest of her deck. He eyed the being warily and with slight anger before turning most of his attention to his brother. The Infestation's influence had grasped him quicker than Lyall anticipated, especially considering the fact that his deck had already become corrupted to create a new set of monsters and cards. He needed to keep a closer eye on him, because if he didn't, Ryu was capable of turning completely evil or going insane.

"You hesitated on that last part," Lyall told Ryu when he finished speaking. "Good, that means you're not completely at the edge of being far gone."

Lyall raised his right hand at Ryu and released a flash of murky light through the Iswarm crest on it. He was maintaining the infestation, wanting Ryu to still think clearly and to keep it from corrupting him further. The Iswarms were generally evil and destructive creatures afterall. Back in Aria City when Lyall had first released them, he had to keep them in check to make sure they didn't just go around destroying everything or running off to destroy other things outside the City.

"Tell me Ryu, how is the Judgment Dragon?"

That monster, along with Sandra's Chaos Fairy, would help in bringing Lyall's work back home to a conclusion.

"Punishment dragon now." He said with an evil grin. He knew what his brother was doing and he could tell that he wanted to keep him thinking. He looked to the being and grinned.
"No more Sandra hmm? Pity I had taken a liking to her." He said still smiling.
"Jain." He said looking to his duel spirit. "Keep an eye on Santa's deck it could prove useful later."

"Sorry Ryu, but her deck is under my care," Lyall quickly said in response. Unfortunately he didn't have the Chaos Fairy Luminas card with him, and with its spirit currently inhabiting Sandra's body, it would have been useless to him anyway.

"Now... I'd like to see that Punishment Dragon card of yours," he told Ryu as he held out his hand. He didn't exactly want for it to mutate as well, but it wasn't unexpected. Even in this new form, Ryu's monster would provide the destructive power necessary to revive one of Lyall's greater monsters.

Ryu fished through his deck and help the card in his hand not quite willing to hand it over. The card now displayed a Wyvern with scales blacker than night and eyes the color of amber.
"He's still just as powerful as he was he's just a bit more....sinister. " he said still holding the card.

The Arbitrator had left, vanishing without a moments notice. He was not needed at this moment in time, but he would be later. As he silently walked back to the surveillance room, he placed a deck on a table in the hallway. Once in the room, he shut the door and sat back down in his chair, once again observing the screens.

Taerund walked down the empty hallway, scanning every out of place object, especially the tables. There was no reason for the tables to be in the hallway, and that was precisely why they were there. After searching for a while, he finally found it, a deck of Duel Monsters cards, left there for no reason. He picked up the deck, and placed it in his pocket. Seems the Arbitrator was finally ready to trust him, or maybe he was just taking pity on the fool who was about to duel.

Now that Lyall thought about, this corrupted form of Judgment Dragon would work even better than its original form. The darkness that would eventually be siphoned from it would only serve to feed Lyall's monster, and the power that would come after that would just bolster it even more. All was well...

"Don't lose it. I'll tell you what I'll be doing with your monster once this little event is done with."

Lyall looked around and found that the Arbitrator had left. A shame, now there was nothing left here for Lyall to do except maybe talk to the thing possessing Sandra (though it seemed to currently be in a world of its own). He left the area and went elsewhere for more things to happen...

The being was getting board with its current company of mortals, for they where clearly bickering about things unrelated to it. Truly the wisest thing to do was to leave them. With a simple shrug of its shoulders it leaves the area. It starts walking passing by several other people. It starts mubbeling to itself very quietly and in an show of discomfort closes its arms together around it, as if it was in a straight-jacket at a metal hospital

''See...they who are around us do not wish to be blanked by beings like me...they want to live, remember, be and be more. Not less...why do you not understand that? Why do i have to hurt you so much for you to understand?'' It goes to the bathroom and starts washing its face in the icy water, the tears running down its face. Why did it have to do this? What compelled its host to give up, give it up and not fight it. Why did she not fight it, she would win if she could only fight back. She needs...someone
