Name: Cybell Yvenstar
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: Passionate and fiery, Cybell Yvenstar doesn’t care who she burns on her way to the top. If you underestimate her, she will kill you. If you overestimate her, she will rise to meet your expectations. If you judge her for what she is, she will change. Nothing about her can stand being stagnant. She needs to always be doing something, but once she’s gotten into her focus mode, nothing can deter her from seeing through to the end. She loves proving her superiority to others, and she hates losing. She isn't opposed to using violence where dueling fails. It takes a lot to put her down, but keeping her down, that's impossible. She isn't out to make friends. Why would she, when enemies are so much more exciting?
Brief Bio: Cybell isn't from the rough part of New Domino City originally, and even right now she could be living with her father in the nicest part of the city's center. But she wanted her freedom, and she couldn't have that at home. One day, before her father was back from work, Cybell took what she didn't want to leave and walked right out the door, leaving a note for her father that told him where she was going and how to contact her if he absolutely needed to. She bought herself a cheap place in the most crummy, run down area she could find and got right to work building a name for herself in this rough new setting.
A month after running away, she called her father to tell him that she was fine, and ever since that month of silence she's kept in contact with him. The time and distance has greatly improved their relationship, and he's even come to visit Bell a couple of times to check up on her. Bell was a good duelist, and she slowly but surely recruited friends and beaten enemies into what would become the Silver Dragons gang. In her gang's territory, there isn't a duelist who doesn't know to avoid Cybell's dragons' fire.
Technically, she didn't get into the tournament. Technically, the person who did isn't going be telling anyone otherwise. He was a loser who would have lost in round one anyways. She is really just doing the audience a favor by taking his spot. They should thank her.

I just read a brief summary of Usagi Drop on Wikipedia....Srsly m8? All of that emotional buildup only to give readers the finger by saying they're not related? Also, even if they weren't related, it's still pretty weird for someone to want to have children with someone who's pretty much been the only parent figure they've ever had. Oedipus complex much?
Yup, it's screwed up, and it would be Electra complex in this case. He raised her from when she was like five, and now is going to have kids with her. I wouldn't care about the age thing, but he is literally her father! The anime was so nice and light-hearted and adorable, and then I look to see if it continued... It did. My heart died a little that day.
