The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything (Interthread Pirates RP)

The premise is simple. We, the interthread pirates, sail from thread to thread on the good ship GSS Plot Device in search of Phlebtonium: The substance which composes all handwaved player equipment.

I, our captain, would ask GMs of dead threads if we may raid them, with the goal of hopefully giving the players something to post about.

We would in essence fill whatever was missing in the RP; Big Bad, random nation event, comic relief, whatever. We wouldn't mind losing, but I wouldnt let us be killed against our will.

So, who's with me?

(If the ship would need some sort of Bard or main musician who may or may not just happen to have made dealings with demons of some sort.... One never really knows when it comes to Renault after all!)

A few more, I will make an OOC. Do we want to stick with raiding medieval/medieval fantasy/victorian era or have a magically transforming ship for sci-fi and modern raids?

That is, magical sci-fi ships and spelljammers for everyone.

A brief idea, shoot me down if it is utterly retarded... But.... should in all situations ( even those that call for the magically transforming ship of pirates who do nothing ) the Pirate Ship should be propelled by wind. Whether it is in the depths of space, or traveling over vast expanses of land. For whatever reason some sort of wind exists to propel it?
