A dangerous necromancer, called Xerophours, had disrupted the peace between the kingdoms. War has been ragging on in the lands and an army lead by their king, which was named Sir Franis Turbin, went to the necromancers kingdom and attacked it, killing the necromancer. The necromancers final spell was a curse put upon the land, but there is no way to reverse it now. The days of the war between kingdoms gets worse and worse, bringing in terrible, and sometimes deadly, diseases. Only the bravest of people may save the land now. The goal of the heroes is to find a possible heir of the necromancer in hope of reversing the curse, return balance to the kingdoms, and protect the land from any further danger. However there is a threat that they must face before destroying the curse. A Lich has arisen and has twisted the curse to do its own binding, it still brought in the diseases but it aloud the Lich to be able to spread the curse, turning it into a deadly plague that was able to kill crops, make the building grow weak, and killed whoever came into contact with, bringing them back as ghouls once the plague ate away most of their flesh getting rid of the features they held in their living form. Once the area was destroyed by the plague it left the area, however if anyone entered a dark mist will begin to form and try to devour the people who had entered the area.
Serain- Serain is a kingdom located in the frosty regions of this cursed world. The people who live here can be any race really, they would just need supplies to survive the cold. However the downside is that basically anyone who was born here or had stayed in the kingdom for too long will have to take a special type of medicine to help them not get infected by a disease that will begin to make ice grow on their skin really painfully and their blood flow will begin to slow down, after awhile they will be in their beds or a hospital until their body is frozen in ice where they will then take them away from the village to the Frozen Graveyard where they will stay. However for some reason the area Serain is in is not affected by this disease so many people began to make villages outside of the kingdom to avoid this disease.
Terael- Terael, sadly, has fallen. The area around it has died and all that remains there is either some survivors or the dead that live there. The kingdom is in ruins and is always filled with the dead, mostly ghouls who are raising an army for the Lich. The castle of the Lich is around these lands somewhere but no one has found it. The Kingdom the Lich lives in used to belong to the gargoyles but since he killed their king they had to follow his commands for they were now slaves to the Lich. Terael was once the kingdom of Felpuur but they have left ever since they Lich attacked while they were already being threatened by a disease that began to make their race die, including multiple symptoms such as their fur turning white, the eyes beginning to have red lines in them, and a horrible cough, unfortunately some that left still had the disease and it then became something that was passed down to their children.
Deinar- This kingdom is the home of various creatures that are generally peaceful and might help the forest, not all of the species are like this though. The kingdom is mostly wary of letting insiders in, in fact they managed to hold of the necromancer when he was coming to their area, he fled but gave a small curse that required those who were experienced in life magic to constantly keep an eye on the forest to make sure none of it became corrupted by red vines that will try to consume the entire forest. They are some native species in this kingdom or around it.
Erituok- Is the kingdom of the humans, not to mention it is where you can find good food. Despite it being in many wars and the fact that it is owned by humans, Erituok is dedicated to farming and it is their main source of food and income. Species from all over can live here and those who have some skills in farming might have a way to earn a plenty of gold. Sadly their part of the curse affects the crops so they had to have those skilled in magic to help get rid of the living weeds known as Tri-rundo, which will make the crops taste as terrible as a piece of rotten ghoul meat.
Neimio- The underground kingdom of the dwavres this location is where most of the minerals come from. A disease is spreading around here that makes the dwarves become horribly ill and too weak to mine, eventually turning into a bony figure which is too weak to survive. However the dwarves seem to be hiding something at the bottom which makes multiple dwarves try to free whatever is trapped down their.

Backstory:
Anything else:
Runari: A race of intelligent wolf like creatures with incredible magical ability they live a nomadic life and are probably the most peaceful
race to exist they also refuse to fight despite having quite a bit of power (Note: They are quadrupeds so they pretty much look like ordinary
wolves except a little bit metallic). Their names are all randomly decided think of anything
Aegyl: These beings can be described as angelic but it would be most unwise to call them so since they are a race of skilled warriors who would
find any excuse to skewer you with a spear (not to mention true angels look nothing like them). their land is the floating land of Ivalice a
beautiful island suspended by powerful magic unfortunately because they have to fly they have hollow bones making them weak to any strong hit.
Their names are all celtic names such as (Gofraidh, Isolda, Duana etc.)
Elves: The well known pointy eared immortal people. They come in practically any variation you can think of (High elves, Dark elves, Wood elves, Sun elves etc.) Their naming conventions vary on the race of the elves but the names are all in a common elven language and are things like
(Elladriel,Gallinor etc.)
Dwarves: The well known short but sturdy craftspeople. They usually live underground where they will usually mine, however dwarves can become warriors and help defend their dwarven kingdom. Their names are all common Norse names (Skorgrim,Ragnar etc.)
Orcs: The well known brutish tribe of warriors. They have no set kingdom and they usually live in tribes. However there are a few orcs that will choose to try become more civilized and leave their tribes. Their names are well…..orcish (things like Kull, Grotshan etc.)
Humans: The well known race of overall balanced ability. They are the most plentiful race, the second being elves, however the numbers are beginning to fall ever since the land was cursed and the Lich rose to power. Their names unless they happen to be humans from some far off land are all old English names (A good source to refer to would be old English stories like the tale of King Arthur)
Felpuur: The Felpuur are a race of sleathly, agile and cunning feline humanoids (Like Khajiit in appearance). They are pretty civilized with few living in tribes.
(Their names are just like Khajiit names http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit_Names here's a guide to the Khajiit naming conventions)
Demons: Little is know of the demon race except that their appearance is incredibly variant and they can be summoned. They range from
grotesque monsters to near humans. Some may join the side of Lich, some may be on the other side, while others will choose not to deal with what is happening. Their is one really convention to demon names but if one thing is for sure there are no demons named Bob or Fluffy instead think of names such as Malchar or Mesphistopheles you know names that sound interesting.
Goblins: A close cousin and ally to the orcs they are often seen as weak or stupid but in reality they are quite cunning and if they had the
means they could be better rulers than the orcs. Their names are all the same as orcish names
Dragons:Everyone should know of these fabled lizards of yore of great magical and combative ability they all live in reclusive areas outside of
the conflict. Unfortunately the Lich is beginning to reach some areas that contain dragons. I will judge if the name is suitable for a dragon in you application
(apps as with the other really powerful races need to be really good)
Spirits: These creatures are ghost-like and contain very powerful magic inside their souls. Spirits can be of any species, so they will have the same appearance and usually have the features they had when they died, this includes and wounds. However the names are different and are either backwards, in a different language, jumbled up, or a series of symbols that are beyond the pronunciation of any living tongue. If someone finds out their true name they can either destroy the spirit or have it do their bidding.
Ghouls: These undead creatures are weak against fire and can survive the coldest places in the world. They are mostly smart however they can regain some of their IQ by eating their victims organs, mostly brain for the organs give very little than the brain which still does not give much due to most of it being used to help fuel them. Ghouls names are mostly the same as they were living however most of the time their names will be different for they choose to go by a different name when they arisen. Saying that a ghoul will have the basics of talking but it might not be much.
Lizardman (credit goes to madcat)- They humans but they look like lizards. Resemblance to lizards is passing: these lizardmen are warm blooded. They inhabit the swamps and marshes on the outskirts of civilization and have a primitive, tribal culture. Witch-doctors, pagan gods, you name it. If it feels Louisiana Voodoo or Mesoamerican (Aztec, Mayan) it's lizardman. As humanity has expanded they've come more into contact with the primitive lizards, going from unknown to myth to frontier legend to accepted but unfamiliar. Lizardmen are heard about, but most people who don't live on the very frontier of civilization will never have seen one

And any other race you can think of, these are just a few races
1) No godmodding!
2) No story derailing/hijacking (you can make your own side story though
3) No upgrading unless you make sure it's okay from an acceptor or thread maker (and it isn't something like Derp finds a shining sword left on the ground picks it up and looks at it's inscription which in ancient tongue says Excalibur).
4) No teleporting! Think of distance okay like if a kidnapping is happening in a forest and you’re in a city and you somehow manage to rush to their aid!
5) You can make up your own race but please give a description of what they are like with a full set of information such as name of kingdom or empire or nomadic tribe(It has to be an already existing kingdom or empire but you can make your own nomadic tribes) .
6) No Mary/Gary Sues! they really ruin things
7) Keep conflict realistic, try not to attack everyone you meet.
8) Make sure your romances do not go beyond what you might see in a PG-13 film.
9) Do your best when it comes to your application.
10) Feel free to make as many characters as you like, an application for each of course.
11) High Free
