[IC] The Academy (reboot)

So many people had spoken and Dahlia had let them all say their piece, for once. She listened as Sebastien chided her for her lack of control over temper, implied she hadn't noticed Lauren inviting other to introduce themselves. The girl Anastasia, however, began to pose very logical questions and asked how Sebastian intended to implement his idealistic security, only to be told that he would 'punish accordingly', a very weak response in Dahlias opinion.

Amidst all the debating for leader, Dahlia received a vote from a male named Flint, standing next to her and discussing the name of the wooden training sword at his hip with Anastasia, the tension building between them. Dahlia caught herself smirking as he threatened to show her the proper use of his Bokken. Well, until Lauren split them up.

Dahlia made a mental note to find out more about this 'detention' from Lauren but stepped forward once there seemed to be enough silence for her to fill. "Sebastian is right. We have not yet finished voting for a Savant leader." She turned to face Katherin "While it may not be in your brochure, Lauren, Halcyon leader and greeter for this Academy, has already stated we cannot enter the Academy until leaders have been chosen per the Administrations orders." Dahlia them addressed the remaining Savants. "It appears myself and Sebastian are the two most interested in representing you as Savants. It would appear I have the vote from Anastasia and Flint, whose firm decision I will not forget." she added, giving him the slightest smile. "If you have not already voted, do so. That way, we may all enter and get out of this heat."

Thomas was lost among the arguments and cofusion but eventually he found his way to the girl who called her self lauren who had introduced them to the academy. He walked towards her "Hullo!" He said with a smile in his face.

"My name is Elizabeth St. James." Liz replied softly. But you can call me Liz. Almost everyone does." Liz proud that she had found the courage to speak to them out loud. But she couldn't bring herself to look any of them in the eye.

Lauren smiled, "A pleasure to meet you, Liz." She turned to Thomas, "Hello, I'm Lauren, leader of Halcyon. Have you decided to join our faction?" She asked. She was happy that everyone seemed to be getting along in her faction. It would relieve some stress for her.

Edward stood there his arm crossed as he noticed alot of people joining their faction. And their leader, Lauren was very confident and sweet... and she was cute too. Edward's face turned red turning around as he cleared her throat looking around. He would never tell a girl that she is cute, mainly because he has done so and the girls usually laugh at him.

Lauren smiled, "A pleasure to meet you, Liz." She turned to Thomas, "Hello, I'm Lauren, leader of Halcyon. Have you decided to join our faction?" She asked. She was happy that everyone seemed to be getting along in her faction. It would relieve some stress for her.

"I thought that we were simply to report to the leader of the faction of my choice. I apologize if I misunderstood the instructions. I would like to choose the Halcyon faction. I think that I would fit into that group the best. Can you tell me about the dorms and dorms? Are we assigned them or do we get to choose them?" Liz asked softly.

"Well, our dorms are in the west side of campus. First floor is girls, second is boys, third is girls, and fourth is boys." Lauren explained, "You can choose any dorm you want on the girl's dorms. It's alright, you were supposed to come to me." Lauren said with a smile. "We're just waiting for them to figure themselves out." Lauren said and laughed. She saw that a few people weren't really talking and turned to Edward, but talking to Liz as well, "So, Edward, Liz, what do you two like to do?"

Edward turned his head seeing that Lauren was talking to him. He turned around to face Lauren, didn't he already answered that? But he wanted to answer her once again. "I uhhhh."He scratched the back of his neck thinking of what to say. "Oh. I thought I told you, that I like to draw and I like working around with technology, hahaha..." he said laughing nervously but then stopped smiling at LAuren, but this time he was confident!

"Oh, I probably did ask you already, sorry I'm just kind of being overloaded with people, I've been alone for a long time." She laughed, her face got slightly red, but she wasn't sure why. She pushed it down, trying for her face to go back to her normal complexion, "Oh! Have you ever tried digital art? I tried once, though it was a bit hard to do shading and the program I had wasn't the best." She fingered the edge of her tablet as she talked.

Edward smiled seeing Lauren's face getting red. It was cute but he decided to leave it alone and concentrate on her question. "Ohh, no. Haha its alright, Lauren. No need to apologize, please." He sighed and continued to talk. "Really? Haha. Yes, I have done that before. Its not that hard and yeah it depends on the program that you have." He said thinking for a second. "I usually use Poser Pro, its like to create 3D animations. I want to create my own video game and st-" and now he was talking alot. Edward cleared his throat, scratching his left cheek. "Sorry...but its uhh easy... " all he said. Yup, he was embarrised, he usually talks alot about his dreams, if someone says something of technology, he just tells a whole essay of what he does, so he decided not to do so.

Thomas decided to let the Edward boy talk, after all Thomas wanted to make some first good impressions here and he did not want to make a enemy on his first day. But Edwards and Laurens conversation seemed like it would not end so when he saw Edward stopped talking Thomas quickly replied "Yes... Your Halcyon group seems the most... Normal out of the three"

Wednesday stood by herself quietly as she watched all the drama unfold between the two groups, a smirked formed on her lips when a girl named Dahlia fought a guy named Sebastian for leadership while Flint sided with the angry girl. She stretched her arms up with a yawn as everyone stood there telling each other their names, this was getting boring for her. She remembered that Lauren said they wouldn't be able to get inside until each factions found a leader. Why couldn't the stupid 'all-powerful' Administration pick the leaders before they got here?

The mo-hawk female bounced her way over to the large group that they had formed. She placed a hand on Dahlia's shoulder and the other one on Flint's shoulder. "Stick boy, you are going to create beautiful babies with she-hulk over here." She laughed as she nodded her head towards Dehlia, her attention went over to the female. "If you ever need some anger management, I know this great therapist." A broad smile spread across her face while she let go of the two, and walked up to Lauren as she flipped through the pamphlet.

"Excuse me, I have some questions. First, you mentioned there aren't teachers, why is it called an Academy than? Or did you mean, the teachers didn't watch us? Also, how does this paintball work? Do the three factions fight each other or is it defend for yourself against everyone kind of thing?"

Wednesday looked up to the other females that were in her faction, her black nail polish shined in the sun as she pointed to a female named Bambi with a light smile on her lips with her eyes sparkling. "I vote her for our leader."

"I am not very good at art. I enjoy writing. I can't say that I am very good at it though." Liz told them softly. She like the group. They seemed a lot calmer then the other two. One fpgroup was still trying to figure out who their leader would be. Liz wasn't sure what was happening in the other group but from the looks of the dark haired girl with the knives she didn't want to know.

Gwen wracked her brain for a better answer other than endless bickering, then suddenly as if a light bulb went off in her head she knew what to do. The others would never agree but they wouldn't get anywhere other wise, especially not if she withdrew her vote. That was hopefully a worse case scenario. "We've made little to no progress in choosing a leader and its driving me insane. If we can't agree then we'll have to do it together. Democracy, in a word. We aren't going to get anything done other wise. Sure it's a little unconventional but I think it will work. This school won't work if its a dictatorship, we keep the people happy we can do whatever we want. Its not very hard to work out. plus its our last option if we keep fighting like this."

Jake nudged Thomas and discreetly pointed at Edward and Lauren, "That's so sweet I think I might get diabetes." He chuckled softly, "I'm Jake, nice to meet you."

Sebastian thought on this. She was right. "That would work well. Most of you were right in your statements. Dahlia does have fear and force, and I have brains." he turned to Dahlia. "If we were to work together, the Savant would be the best managed faction of the three. I would manage everything behind the scenes, and you'd be the one that goes out and gives speeches, etcetera. Do we have a deal?"

"Hmm?" Said Thomas snapping out of a daze, realising what the boy said he chuckled "Yes they have certainly hit it off quite well. I'm Thomas by the way"

"I kinda meant all of us." Gwen mumbled quietly. She took a deep breath, it didn't matter any way. "Well if we've all agreed lets go to breakfast. After all we are the only ones holding it up."

Jake smiled, "They most definitely have, its nice to meet you Thomas. We should hang out together at lunch er I mean breakfast.... Although thanks to the Savant its going to be lunch by the time we actually get to eat." Jake thought for a moment, "I hope this isn't a personal question but what made you want to come here?"

Dahlia looked to Sebastien and did her best to maintain her composure. Sure, he was intelligent but, she certainly didn't want to rule with him. Though, she knew if they stood out here much longer, her stomach would grow louder than her words. "Fine. I am the face of the operations and you do the dirty work that I don't want to. Done deal. Let's go eat." She pulled on the straps of her backpack, pulling it tighter to her back and turned on her heel towards the school.

Rachael raised both her arms above her head in a celebratory pose and shouted "Yes!" once it was announced they could go inside. Though, she quickly lowered them and felt herself blush as everyone turned to look at her. "I-I mean.. Let's eat?" she stammered, shrugging innocently.

"Fine by me." Roxy replied with a shrug. She wasnt going to fight for leadership. Not yet anyway. She would see what Barbie could do. She had a feeling it wasnt going to be much. But might as well let her try. Atleast until she had a better understanding of the school and how it worked.

Sebastian picked up his suitcase and walked towards the school. "About time." he said quietly to himself. He walked towards the school, this was certainly going to be interesting, and he thought of all the things that could happen.
