Since you are changing the health to a number instead of a percent, could you give us an idea how much on average each type of character should have?

Like rangers should have 100
Knight and other blade type classes should have 130
Brawlers and more tanky guys should have like 160
Mages should have like 90-100
Thieves and speedy little classes should have 80-90

(these are general examples I have no idea what sort of ranges they should have)

I was thinking about that, but running on your system, Fool would only have 90 health, and a bunch of SP he really doesn't need. To do something like that you would have to add in a speed stat or something. At that point it gets really complicated.

I put a 5% specific on the Regen, but I can regulate it merely as making it so 5% is ~ a slice to the arm or the like. So it'd make it easier to explain without having to incorporate an entire stat system.

Yeah, let's just keep it simple. I'd hate to dive too much into numbers.

No need to factor in EXP, I'll level up players based on quality of post and the like. Feel free to loot from the items that each monster drops, I'd [prefer you do that after you clear your enemies. We're facing 24 wolves so I'd figure we each take on three or six to a couple, catch my drift? That way we split the fun equally.

I was just asking if we should use generalized numbers like that. I see that 90 would be a pretty dang low health amount, it was a sort of example. Idk about stats an the such, i was just wondering how we are going to handle the health numbers if we aren't using a percent anymore.

Making a whole complicated system is intriguing but useless really, I doubt we would ever actually use it much and it causes headaches.

Yup, we're keeping it simple, executive decision. I plan to be fair and generous on leveling - I mean, it's not fair to have someone kill eight mooks in one sentence and have another kill only three but in way that really creates an experience. Does that make any sense? Anyone is free to disagree, I'm all for different points of view. I haven't decided on how the Skill Tree system will work since it's a bit early but yes, we will get new skills and even upgrades to current ones; that's the reason why I didn't go all out with naming my melee skills, i have plans for my own skill tree. xD

EDIT: Let's stick to % and hope everyone is fair. I'm fairly laid back but if I start to see abuses that become a detriment to the experience of other players, I'll make a comment on it.

That would count as regeneration of a limb, so it'd be around...probably..a 55~75% regen necessity. .x. In my opinion. ;w;
