"Uh..." The Physicist scratched his head. How the hell do you explain this? "Well, I think it would be better if I showed you. Come in, just don't get scared and run around." The Physicist took a few steps back, and then stood aside. That was a horrible idea....

Charlie looked at the man awkwardly than slowly walked inside. Then she walked outside, then inside, then outside then finally back inside
"Time lord technology" She muttered spinning around to look at the Physicist. "But there all dead" She was talking to herself, looking at the man in front of her.
"Where did you find this?" Charlie asked questioningly.

"What do you mean?" The Physicist smiled. "So, you aren't human, hmm." He flipped back to her. "We aren't all dead, i'll tell you the story." The Physicist sat down. "The Doctor, who is probably the most famous doctor ever, wanted Earth to stay protected, so, he got a bunch of Timelords, which were in frozen Gallifrey, and put us in pods." The Physicist thought for a second. "We awoken from these pods, which means that the Doctor is now dead. In the centre of the room we found TARDIS's, which I have yet to name!" The Physicist sighed. "Anyway, my names The Physicist, whats yours?"

Charlie repeated the information she had just been told into the small smooth pebble like object on her wrist. Then clicked the small touchpad to send away the information.
"Well I guess I can not deny that.. I am Charlie and I am a Newid researcher. I am here on earth to investigate and learn from the humans. Why are you here time lord.."
Charlie was formal speaking as if talking to a police officer, which the time lords could possibly be described as. She was still sceptical but decided to believe for now.
She had heard of The Doctor, coming and going to earth leisurely, but she had never met him. What she did know was that wherever he was trouble was soon looming.

"You're collecting information?" The Physicist blatantly ignored her question. "Why? Why do you need to collect information? And... why have you got that technology on your wrist?

The Dentist thought for a moment. "First thing, do you really believe this is a trap? Look around, bigger on the inside, way too advanced for mankind, right?" he said. "I let you in because I wasn't finished. You're saying you weren't the least bit curious?"

"I admit, I'm still pretty curious, but you can't just let people in here like that!" Edmee ran her fingers through her dyed hair and let out a long sigh. "What have I gotten myself into?" She muttered a rhetorical question. The girl couldn't properly comprehend this, how could a mere phone box break the laws of physics? "Anyways, you didn't answer my second question, what are you doing in Paris?"

Charlie became defensive. "I don't need to answer that" She said annoyed. "But as you obviously don't know as much about my race as I know of yours I will humour you."
Charlie then took a few steps towards the TARDIS console. Eyeing the gadgets and gizmos.
"The Newid species thrives on information, we want to know everything there is to know about the universe and learn from it. At a young age I was chosen to be a researchers and sent away from my home world to research. The small device on my wrist is a messaging device. I send information to my home planet from this device." After the explanation Charlie began nosily looking at the screens.

"Good, now leave or take the messenger device off and leave it there." The Physicist quickly got in the way of her and the console, before pointing to a nearby chair. "So, what's it gonna be,Newid?" The Physicist attempted to look as intimidating as possible, but he wasn't very good at it.

"When I was chosen the device was placed around my wrist and is made to not be able to be removed. Its made of one of the strongest alloys our species has..so if you want me to remove it I would have to chop off my hand. " Charlie said matter of factly sitting in the chair . "And Im sure I could help you, for what ever reason you are here I can have my uses."
Charlie was thinking about how many places she could see, the time zones and planets she could travel to. She just needed to persuade the time lord before her to take her..
Her eyes gleamed as she day dreamed then looked back to the Physicist, his face attempting to distort itself to imitate intimidation.

Stop it, you look stupid. The Physicist stopped the face actions. "Okay, thanks for telling me, I'll see you on your way, unless you have anything else you want to say." The Physicist couldn't wait to relax after this.

"Well yes you still haven't told me why you are here.." Charlie stayed in the seat. She needed to find out what was happening.
"And also after that I may have some information that may interest you.. if you are a time lord you will be interested in something... weird that's been happening right?"
Charlie looked to the time lord, he didn't act as she imagined they would, this one seemed more stingy then she though a time lord would be.

The Physicist slouched. "I'm not telling you in information, unless you tell me something.Because for all I know you could be planning to invade Earth." The Physicist placed all of his fingers together. "So, If you're not human, what is your real form? If you don't want to answer, then, leave." He pointed to the door.

"If I was planning on invading earth why would I have even told you I was alien.. and if you actually used your TARDIS database you would know the Newid's are a peaceful race, and how do you know this isn't my true form, it is not uncommon for a similar evolved species to look the same, take for instance you Timelord. On the outside you look human don't you?"
Charlie stood up and her skin began to slowly change colour, her clothes disappeared as the once human girl turned into a genderless blue humanoid.
"Why should I be the only one answering the questions here. For all I know you could have stolen this space ship and not actually be a Timelord."
Charlie began to change again, now a human male with blonde hair and a similar age to the last person. Charlies voice changed accordingly to match his new gender. Clothes had also formed and created jeans and a t-shirt.
"So happy now"

"Well, every Timelord has two hearts, so work on from that." The Physicist reconsidered the creepiness of the Newid. "And no, I kinda prefered when you were female. And, yes I look human, but I'm not a creepy shapeshifter am I?"

"You seem very... racist for a Timelord and I would rather not be called creepy and so with that I will be going." Charlie remarked, turning to leave the TARDIS.
'I thought timelords where supposed to be nice' Charlie though to himself as he went to leave.

He thought for a moment, rubbing his hair. "I'm in Paris because I'm a Timelord. We're an alien race of humanoid people with very advanced technology, as you can see." he motioned around the room. "I can live for hundreds of years and I have two hearts. Years ago, a Timelord named the Doctor, universal star who saved millions of lives, even saving the universe on multiple occasions. He knew that he would eventually die and that there would then be no one to save the universe, so he taught me and a couple of other Timelords how to manage a TARDIS, and then he put us in pods. These pods opened when the Doctor died, and now, this is our first time ever visiting Earth, definitely not the last." He leaned in with his head in his hands. "What's it like here on Earth?" he got up and shrugged it off. "Nevermind, I'll be able to find out myself." he thought for a moment. "Anyways, I think I better get to finding the other Timelords." he paused. "You want to come with?" he asked.

"I'm not a racist! I just don't like people sapping intelligence!" The Physicist was practically shouting. "Make sure to close the door!" The Physicist began to think. The Other Timelords are here, I should go somewhere else, maybe Baghdad, or somewhere where I'm needed. Wait, if it's here. "Why are YOU in Paris?!"

"Sapping information? What are you talking about!" Charlie yelled back "What's wrong with going to other planets and learning about them! and the reason I am in Paris is that its my job on earth to take pictures for a large human scientific research company its how I get money to live. Unlike you I don't have a space ship, the pods we come on are one way only so i cant just decide to leave!"
How dare this Timelord insult Charlie's entire species!

"Whatever, I'm here to help and actually do something of value! Now, you can leave, or you can complain about me being racist!" The Physicist was getting seriously annoyed, he checked the monitor for Newid.

Charlie yelled out and slammed the door on his way out, he placed his communication device to his mouth.
"New Entry, The Physicist. The Physicist is a time lord with anger issues and racial hatred towards species that are not Time Lord . He has apparently been trained by the late Doctor yet holds none of his charm and quirks that made him a good person. He believes he is very important despite not showing any achievements , possibly believing just being a timelord makes you a good helpful being. Avoid at all cost. End of entry." Charlie sent the message and kicked the TARDIS then began to walk off.
