So I've got a pretty good idea as to where to go for my post, but I'm also kind of just waiting on TryNyte to post before I go ahead and make my move. The newb thing was pretty spot on though, they only just joined a few days ago. I also wanted to take this time to apologize to anyone if my... "personal adventures" have made anyone uncomfortable. If they have I'll make sure to refrain from speaking on them in the future.

Yea it seems like one of those weekend breaks, but that's all I'm hoping it is.

At the same time I'm also regretting having catered to our new guests who have not been on in...5 days...If I don't see a post from them by tomorrow they're gone, purely npc'd for the moment, then erased from history.

I think I mostly agree with this point. Schoolwork doesn't allow for much freedom and is ultimately less interesting because of that. This is especially true in Japanese classes, which I can tell you from experience, almost always consisted of lectures and guided reading followed by worksheets with note-taking in between. Although I do think there is time during homeroom and lunch for interactions at school. After that would be club activities or free time for students to do whatever they want, at least during the week. As for weekends you can basically do whatever you want. For example, you could take your expensive camera and take interesting pictures of a certain gaijin senpai who doesn't notice you... >.>

Since it's been a week in school already students should have a pretty good idea of what club they want to join if they haven't done so already. Since clubs accept students from all three years it's a good chance for them to intermingle. Also, some trivia about me (because why not). I went to high school in Japan. During my freshman year I was in the cooking club. My tamale's were very popular.

*sigh* while I hate to admit this, I think you're both right on this one, schoolwork was not the way to go. I'm in this constant fear that people are just going to stop posting and while I do like the fact that we kind of just...took this weekend off so to speak. I don't really think it was for the right reasons and I'm at fault for that. Not only did I put people in a situation where not much interaction is available, but I also ended up catering to some new players so that they could get in on a piece of the action. So I'm sorry everyone in this regard. While I'm at it, while I hate cutting some conversations short, its honestly going to be needed. If I manage to wake up early enough, I'll make a post with a time skip, if not, well I'll definitely get something up by tomorrow, but if I don't get it up in the morning, it will definitely be tomorrow.

Also, just to ease my own nerves, can I get a quick roll call here?

Actually, Tamales aren't even South American to begin with. Technically it's a Meso-American dish that was later assimilated into Latin-American cuisine. Meso-America is the area between North and South America from the southern part of Mexico all the way to Costa Rica. Latin America (and therefore Latin-American cuisine) spans all of South America, the Caribbean, and Meso-America.
