Standing just short of six feet tall, Ash is a handsome youth often seen using his cane or a pair of crutches to bring himself around, since one of his legs isn’t really good. This teen is very mature in appearance, for his age.
Name: Ash Silvers
Age: 16
Grade: 1st
Disabilites:Leg Issues – both of his legs were broken badly in his youth, with multiple fractures in the bones. Extensive surgery, metal rods have been added into them in his youth, and more have been added as he grew. One of his legs is actually better, while the other one causes him quite an amount of pain, and requires a cane for him to better travel around.
“Minor Anxiety” – is what is written in his medical records…the reality is that his family doctor is being bribed to cover up his
mental disorders, that the valium prescribed to him for his anxiety attacks are actually antipsychotics so he is degrees less violent during the day. Does nothing for his manipulative sides…
Personality: At a glance, he seems like a charming and confident (if not outright charismatic) individual, and even seems friendly to most. Underneath it all is a manipulative liar, and when provoked, a rage beast. There is not a single person who is more important that himself, body and mind…and he literally jumped out a second floor window to prove and establish to his older brother that the elder couldn’t control him, which led to the multiple breaks in his legs…imagine what he’d do to somebody who isn’t himself!
There is difficulty to empathise with others, very little fear, scary high pain tolerance, and a near flawless ability to act or feign emotions in various ways. His only ‘friend’ might be Claire, well…the girl is insistent on being his friend, and it’s easier to feign normalcy by other’s standards by having a more normal minded person stick around. It’s actually…he actually finds her (at times) outright denial of his misdeeds to be adorable, like a frightened rabbit stuck in a pen with wolf.
Background: Ash has always been funny in the head, funny like a needle in the eye. As a kid, his older brother (15 whole years older than him) had a very hard time controlling him, and the young boy jumped out a second floor window in order to prove that he could—that his brother couldn’t control him. His legs were screwed, but it goes without saying, his brother wanted nothing to do with him after that.
After several surgeries, and some recovery time, he spent time in and out of the hospital for rehabilitation…though his new ‘friend’ Claire was a constant companion. There may have been an odd person here or there who’d entertain him, flirt with, get angry at…by Claire was constantly there, and it was quite obvious that she was scared of being left without a friend in the world, so much so that she convinced herself that Ash was really a great person. This was fun, he approved of this!
In recent years, after finding out that she intended to leave for Yamaku in japan, Ash went to his father to demand that he go as well. His demands were met with much rejection…up until the scandal, in which the Silvers family find out that Ash not only seduced a nurse and had several sexual relations with her, but that she had also been carrying his child for the past few months. Maybe they’d have pressed charges, if Ash wasn’t the way he was, if big attentions towards him wouldn’t bring his mental healthy into questioning. Instead, they opted to give her hush money, maybe to have an abortion quietly and to never see him again. Ash actually begun subtly pressuring the nurse to have an abortion, but after a passing comment from Claire, he decided to convince the nurse to give birth to his child and give it over to his family to raise. It was after this that he wasn’t rejected in his demand, since having him around may just cause more scandals. So long as he behaved well enough, he could go and stay in Yamaku with Claire.
Other Info:-Ash is actually quite intelligent, can read people quite easily, just can’t empathise…he learned Japanese within a few months.
-The Silvers family are wealthy from their business in computer components, and other shady stuff…they have a tendency to throw money at problems to make them disappear, or throw money at people who can make their problems disappear. It’s become a bit of a thing since Ash turned three, really.
