Why don't we do this:

Dr. Douglas sees that 32 means business, and isn't going to let the other two leave unless Kevin practically handcuffs himself. She senses his heart, but can't really tell what it is because it's a strange piece of tech. She attacks it, hoping to do some kind of damage.

32's reaction startles her, and seeing that her interference with the heart is killing him, she stops out of fear.

This give Kevin just enough time to run up and hold 32 back while Tony and Rose escape, or do whatever.

Pinch the Adam's apple get behind it and move it rapidly up and down. Followed by a knee into the groin and another into the underarm.

I'm thinking that Douglas decides to zap his heart, temporarily disarming him, either Tony or Rose grab the gun he dropped, Kevin hold him back, 32 gets loose, and then all hell breaks loose and they all fight.

Hm, just to pinpoint where everyone is...

Kevin is at the end of the alley as he started walking out of it, so between 32 and Douglas from what I can gather. Tony is further into the alley with Rose near Tony. Or have I missed something?

If this is the case, Kevin could shelter Douglas from the explosion which would also make it understandable that she doesn't uhm...die XD
