I'm alright. Still sick, but I'm trying to get some other things done since I've left some of these threads waiting since Wednesday and I don't want to be a dick.

I'm okay, my mom went back to her weekend job for the first time in several months since her surgery so she's been pretty tired, doubt we'll go out to look at any properties this afternoon. I do have some homework I've been putting off and I want to finish a fanfic for Top Gear but other than that, I don't really have plans. A friend from high school wanted to hang out but it would require going into the city via train and he's got a car so I told him (since he came up 2 hours anyway from Santa Cruz) he can come drop by but since I don't drive and I deal with the train enough, that I won't make the trip (into SF) to see him. To me he should come, he drives, it's only a 30 min drive for him at this point but made french toast for me and my dad and now the afternoon is all mine. ^^

I have some slippery elm tea that tastes potpourri, haha. Other than that, I've just been trying to drink water and stay hydrated. It's rainy today, but I'm finally able to breathe without having to use my inhaler, so I count that as a small victory. If I don't have to go to the hospital, then I'm happy. I've really just been looking forward to this thread, so I'm happy that I'll soon have something that I actually want to do.

And good for her. How is she doing, aside from being tired? I think he should definitely come to you if it's only a half hour. What's wrong with that if he's already driven a few? It seems like his loss! Enjoy your french toast :3

Tea is good though the flavor sounds questionable. What brand is it? I'm partial to Mighty Leaf myself. That's good that you're breathing better. You're still avoiding peanuts too? Hopefully you keep improving, no matter the weather. Some of your rain would do some good in CA, I'm jealous.

She's okay, she went back and ended up putting in her notice that she's quitting. She worked at the hospital (psych ward) for like 10+ years working night shifts on weekends and while she enjoys it (and it helps pay off bills/pays for vacations), it's too much at this point. She got so used to having weekends to herself and her foot/knee wasn't happy after her double shift. I'm sad to see that job go, there's a great bakery she used to stop by sometimes.

And yeah, he should just drive over, I'd happily get drinks with him but it would take me at least an hour to get to where he is in the city so from the sounds of it, he's not gonna come out. >__> Men...
