And alright! I've got a surprising amount of things to do, but you know me. I'll put it off so I can reply here, haha.

Not expensive but compared to everywhere else we've seen, they got ripped off in my mind. It needs work, there is dryrot, termites, bug infestations and all doors/windows need to be replaced. Kitchen should be gutted and brought into the 21'st century (it's from like the 60s-70s). And since a smoker lived there, it smells even with new paint and carpet and there's no real yard for the dogs, it's just concrete and wines. >__> I think they're settling, could do a bit better and not need to put more money into it but...not really my call.

Maybe it'll work out but I just don't like the vibe. Plus there is NO reception for our cell phones, which means we'll have to get a new landline (we ditched ours finally because we don't need it) but it just worries me since if I or my parents need to contact each other, it would be literally impossible.

I'm pretty sure they'll get it but clearly they got it because no one else was taking the bait.

Ah, that's disappointing. There had to be an inspection, right? I figure when people buy a retirement property, they don't want to have to do anything to it. I hope they get it all figured out, and hey, if you need to vent, I'm here.

It's rare that I have you wait, haha. But whatever you want to do with them is fine with me. I think Haymitch is really in a mentor mentality right now and there could be some kind of tender moment where he actually says he wants them all to stay safe. I think Prim just wants to hear final instruction from Peeta. So, if it feels natural to send them to bed, go for it. I'll follow your lead!

We're doing a few inspections, which we have to pay for...for some reason. I assumed sellers had to make sure things were in order but I guess the real world isn't so logical. ^^;

Oh right! I should bring in Peeta so he can brief Prim and Gale about what to expect now that things should be squared away. I can have that at the end of my post, not sure how long/rambly I should get, so hard to end things on a motivational point or something serious. Cuddles can't be serious~

Either have Peeta snag Prim and Gale before they go to bed, or I think it could be done in the morning too. I know they don't really see each other much until they actually get into the arena. And I was also thinking of one of the stylists making like a necklace or a pendant out of that sparrow Gale made for Prim in the beginning. Obviously Haymitch is going to have his token too. It's cute that they're all birds uwu

I think there were some inspections the seller had to do but when we did ours, "new" things were found. And if we pull out, they would now have to disclose the spiders, and other issues to any buyers and fix them if they somehow didn't for us.

Oh them all being birds would be super cool. :3 I'll probably do that in the morning. I think having Peeta snag them before breakfast would work better, since maybe he's busy with Effie, finalizing everything since the interviews may have caused some other mentors to show concern about the alliances and such. And Peeta would wanna give everyone some last words of advice before they all get on the flight to go to the arena. It's a shame the only time Prim and Gale fly, it's to their doom.

Does Gale have a token? I feel like he didn't get anything. And yeah, that makes sense for Peeta. I think Prim will feel a lot better once she gets direct orders. I think we also have to figure out specifics of how they're going to get out. We are doing the force field, correct? If Katniss doesn't know anything, will Gale be taking the shot and is it going to be roughly the same thing with Beetee's wire? I just want to have everything straight in my head even though we're a ways away from it.

No he doesn't, I was gonna have someone give him one since you suggested it. ^^ I think by the time everyone has converged at the center with the radio tower, someone or multiple people would be yelling at Katniss to take the shot, since Beetee did explain the plan slowly by its in CF I think, in terms of the whole wire + force field = boom. And I'd like to think in the moment, they wouldn't be stopped by anyone so their plan would work but of course Peeta's own end gets caught...poor baby. Does that sound about right?

I wish I had thought to have Prim give him something. I guess it will be just as nice coming from Effie or Peeta. Yeah, I know there's exposition in CF, so I could see that happening. I just thought with all chaos that she really wouldn't know what's going on. Especially if someone is going to cut out her tracker. Like, they're all going be a literal bloody mess. I'm just trying to make sure we're not missing anything so that later when they're out of the arena, we're not like, oh shit we forgot XYZ.

For all we know, Prim can make him a future wedding ring. XD I hope we keep Johanna as the one to do it since I feel like if it were someone she knew like Haymitch or Gale, she'd be even more mentally hurt cause like 'wtf, get off me, fuck what!?' but everyone else will need to deal with that. It would be interesting if one of them, maybe Finnick or Johanna didn't get theirs out (like they thought?) and that could be a way for the Capitol to keep track of them? If we did though, I'd want it to be a little glitchy so it wouldn't have direct locations, just some general area before it's fully taken out?

I hate House Hunters anyway. I never like the couples and their complaints are always ridiculous. Like, not everything has to be move-in ready. God forbid you replace the cabinets yourself or buy a can of paint.

That would be kind of cute. I don't know if Prim would be that forward, though. And yeah, I don't think it would be Haymitch since he barely knows more than Katniss and someone is going to have to tell him to cut his out anyway. Whoever does it, Katniss is going to be all fucked up. I'd say we could do that, but I think they would know if they didn't get theirs out. It seemed large enough in the movie, so I think they would feel it and it glows underneath the skin.
