That's the part that I get stuck on, haha. If I don't know exactly why/how something works, I freeze up and like, refuse to make up my own lore? It's a really annoying problem and I have yet to meet anyone else who gets weird about such small details.
I just really like the aesthetic, honestly. There's something really nice and shiny about the future and not necessarily space ships or aliens, but just the technology could be really fun. I tend to picture scenes like they're from a movie, and I know that's also an odd thing to do so you're probably like, who the fuck likes something for the aesthetic when it's written? I also enjoy dystopia/utopia settings, futuristic crime, the movie Looper has a kind of fun world that I thought to play around with once or twice. So like, sci-fi with hints of reality, if that makes sense? Which is probably doesn't lmao.
