I was going to text you and ask how it was going, but I didn't want to be a bother. So, now that you're here, how was it? Everything go smoothly?

And wow, jury duty for what? I always think it's fun if you get chosen, haha.

We're not done yet. Though most of the work was Friday and yesterday. We got the locks changed, unpacked most of the kitchen, got internet up, got the beds made, etc. It's a lot of connecting the dots right now. We might check out of the hotel tomorrow or the next day, it depends if I get called for jury duty since I'd have to help my dad finish moving stuff in the morning. ^^; It's pretty tiring. We did get our AT&T signal booster up too, so now I'll at least have cell phone reception so you should totally feel free to text me.

I don't know yet, it's in a shady part of town haha...I think I go down tomorrow, get questioned. If they wanna keep me, I've been picked and they end up paying you like minimum wage. I doubt I'll get picked but I kinda hope I do. I'll be doing adult things in the real world~ I've watched enough crime dramas, I'm ready!

Sounds very productive :3 At least you've got most of the big stuff out of the way like beds and stuff. Moving furniture is the worst but once you unpack, it's not so bad. I bet you're ready to get out of the hotel.

I've been good. It was kind of cold on Friday and Saturday but it's done nothing but rain today. I've been in some pain, but I did see some friends over the weekend and that was nice.

The movers were there for six hours the first day, I had to help direct them and lift some stuff. Of course that was the day it was in the high 90s...I wanted to die. XD But yeah, I'm hating the new place less, mostly cause I finally can use my cell phone and not sit around bored. And we have plans for redoing some areas so it's looking up. :3

I know, my parents have been called a few times. My dad got some boring two day trial but I just think it'd be a fun experience, boring or not. Of course, I'd cross my fingers for a murder or something haha. Really Detroit of all places? You'd think they'd put court houses in better places. Supposedly if you get called and it takes you longer than 2 hours to commute to, you can get excused.

Really? That's so weird and unfair. I'd kill for some cool air or rain. I'm sorry you've been in pain though. Have you been working out anymore? I think now that I'm in a quaint gated old people place, I wanna start walking/jogging regularly. You saw some friends? That's good, did you see a movie or anything like that? Of course just hanging out is fun too, can't beat good conversations with good people.

I'm glad you're warming up to the place c: What are you planning to do with it?

Well, sometimes people get called for the township but Detroit is in Wayne County and that's where I live. I'm pretty close to the city, so sometimes jury duty is for civil matters or like child support but my grandma's friend got called for a murder. I've never been selected, which bums me out because I think it would be fun too.

Yeah, I've been taking it easy to let my everything heal up a little because I was really sore for a few days but I plan to fully get back at it tomorrow. And no, we just hung out, went to the bar and had some beers while the weather was clearish.

My mom wants to add more space to her bathroom, update the entire kitchen and replace the doors/windows. Not too much, but it'll be better equiped with what we like~

They call jury duty for child support related stuff? That sounds a little personal, but then again, any case is and we're not supposed to think of it personally. >__> But wow, a murder could be interesting. I'm sure you'll be called at some point, just keep voting. :3 I know people complain about it but it's pretty cool that we get to be somewhat involved.

Don't push yourself too much, just ease into it. Or if you have days where you rest, go hard core, then rest again, that could help ya. And going to a bar is still nice, drinking and chit chat. It's good you could enjoy the weather a bit, I know summer just started but it feels like it's been here too long IMO.

I always vote, haha. I haven't missed a state or national election since I got my voter's card at eighteen. I was so excited for it that it was a little sad. But did you end up getting picked? Give me details!

ALSO this is probably the longest that it's ever taken me to post. I've been in such a crappy slump these last two weeks. Idk what's going on. I'm going to try my hardest to get you something before the week is over and stop being such a shitty partner and friend.

It was pretty out today, but too warm. I went and got my eyebrows done and worked out and that's about it, tbh. Nothing special, haha. How about yours?

That's good, at least there are bearable days! I need my eyebrows done...usually I do them myself but waxing is def preferred then me plucking and hating myself. ^^; Today I finished setting up what closet space I've been given, I cleaned the house, walked the dogs, it was warm but we had a breeze so window open, not bad at all~

Oh our conversation last night made me think we should do something with bugs for the kiddos. I thought raining spiders or something totally horrible like that. *wants to kill spiders/see giant bugs kill tributes*

Oh, that would be good. What if we did something with centipedes, or insects that could be found in the caves? So, when they think they're safe, they get bitten up. Maybe they're venomous too?

It's okay, a bit weirdly shaped compared to our open floor plan we used to have...but we're adjusting, still trying to rid it of the smoke smell.

I got Chris Evans too. I have a feeling that's the answer everyone may get? I'm a Libra. Or it's just all random. I have been on buzzfeed in ages but I wouldn't worry too much about their stuff. ^^;

I think scorpions and centipedes would be fun to have. Both creepy and dangerous in their own right~
