With Choi handing Kai one of the swords, the twins set off after Kabocha and T’charrl, or at least tried to catch up to T’charrl as he sped off like he had seen something embarrassing. Choi didn’t think he looked too bad, the fuzzy look was certainly different compared to the partial patches of hair some of these aliens had while Kai was feeling a lot more concerned about the future. This guy was their ticket to getting their parents and if he was too panicked to do anything about it or the Queen disallowed it, everything was going to end up ruined. Looking to Kabocha, Kai caught up with him and gave him a quick look over, mainly at the General, “So…plan?” he questioned him, slowly looking to T’charrl, “Think he’ll still give us help on getting out families salvation…? Because it’s starting to seem like it’s becoming all too…distant, don’t you think?”

T’charrl wanted to get back, but he also didn’t want to get back for he feared what his mother would think upon seeing him like this. His constant swaying in the air was him partially resisting flying there and wanting to fly there, knowing his mother would grant him comfort and hopefully help him through this. It was such a rocky flight, it was also a little difficult to fly with this body shape with his lanky limbs and using his tail to steer instead of his shoulders. The hunger was greatly unsettling; none of his clan ever ate meat and it was usually the larger more built up Kaesstrians that ate meat, yet only sometimes. He needed food, anything when all his energy had gone and he needed to refuel his tank. Feeling an intense throbbing in his throat that was most likely coming from whatever his heart had become, he wasn’t deaf to what the Saiyans were talking about behind him.

They had their own concerns; that was fair enough. He really didn’t need to hand over his concerns and pile them onto theirs, plus they had helped him a lot and he’d probably be dead already without them. Frowning a little he slowed down, he gave a quick glance back to the Saiyans, “I’ll still help…I-I will! I can do what you want…and I swear I will”, he spoke with a bit of a squeak, sounding upset but desperately trying to hide it, “You saved me, you stopped me from becoming a true monster a-and…well, you stopped me from failing so badly like I’ve done many times in the past”.

Looking down quickly to see what was going on down below, the biggest thing he noticed immediately was how well he could see during the day compared to normal while only noticing the citizens second. He just wanted to see if they were all distracted by the reports of a tree growing in an area that was deemed completely deforested, but being able to see well in the daylight still surprised him. He was a little concerned still, he didn’t know how he’d fair in the dark and didn’t want to have to wander the surface all the time. With the citizens distracted, he should be fine to continue along with how he was even without his clothes. The clothes they wore were all cultural and told other kinds where his blood lay and seeing a Kaesstrian without clothing often spelled ‘barbarian’, it wouldn’t help that he was also different looking than all the other ones. Feeling overly concerned now about people seeing him and his stomach rumbling loud, he could only feel the desperate call to get home before he fell out of the sky from starvation and down to where everyone else was.

Shu stared up at Yumi for an answer, but her own questioning just made him feel a little unsettled and nervous to what it could be. If it was going to shake some more and the house collapsed, they would be in big trouble and Viral would never get a chance to recover. It was a little concerning that Viral hadn’t woken up yet, he was normally on high alert for this sort of thing too. He was worried about everything at this point, it was easy to become worried when he couldn’t move and just wasn’t allowed to move with this entire thing probably being the least he had moved in a long time; even when he was weak he was still able to sit up and look around but with this he was left staring at the ceiling or only getting the pleasure of seeing someone hovering over him to comfort him.

At the sound of someone else coming into the house, Shu looked around to try and see what it was and why Yumi had left him. Squeaking a little, from the sounds of it Takeshi had come back from his little wander away since his wounds had been treated, smiling a little at the comfort that he was still able to do so. He still wanted to tell Takeshi what had happened to get his head injured, but seeing him come back from such an odd direction only left him pretty confused to what had actually happened. He must had seen why the ground shook, so maybe he’ll be kind enough to tell him.

Looking to Takeshi when he was in view, he frowned a little when he simply sat down instead of hovering over him like Yumi did; he wouldn’t mind seeing Takeshi, not just guessing where he was. As Takeshi spoke, Shu couldn’t help but feel even more confused and a little worried. Hearing about a tree suddenly appearing was just strange altogether, but upon hearing about the powers appearing and disappearing made him even more worried. He knew who the other one might had been, but what was worse was there was no indication to whether it was the General who had come out strong or T’charrl, “…Oh, I-I see”, he mumbled, feeling a little unsure to what more could be said, “I hope it was T’charrl, I really do! I hope so…y-you don’t think something bad happened that made the big tree appear, do you? I hope the people are okay, I do…”

T’charrl’s mind continued to swirl as he flew, slowly feeling the need to go down to the ground and just either walk or run the rest of the way but he knew he couldn’t do that. He hoped the Saiyans trusted him when he said he’d still help them, especially when they were the only other ones who knew about the situation. Then there was this low energy feeling, the throbbing spreading to his throat and to his head. He needed to get to his mother, but then there was an intense need for energy, just enough to make the feeling go away. His mother came first, but then there was the desire to feed, to drain and to consume.

As his mind drifted in amongst dangerous thoughts, he came to again when he realised he was close to drooling and drifting into the realms of corrupted thoughts. The energy that was still inside him, he knew it would affect him and he needed help, he needed fruits of the planet or the flesh of the creatures that lived on the planet; but then again no, he’d be a barbarian. Gradually coming in for a landing not too far from the house, he had to stretch his arms out to catch himself before rearing up again, his long secondary arms wrapped around his stomach and his claws digging into his sides. What awful energy that lay inside him and what an awful form he had, his hideous body simply looking ridiculous in any reflection he caught hold of, “Aghhh…I’m going to-…I’m going into the forest! Please! Get my mother! And bring food! Anything, please??” he asked out, hoping the Saiyans heard him before he made a sudden dash for the forest, running on his free hands as well in long bounds. He would feel better in the forest, he could find some vegetation to munch on if he wished, but he just really needed to get away from these torturous thoughts and into the calm if he hoped to control himself.

"How should I know? I barely know what's going on," Kabocha retorted, offering a shrug of his shoulders. "I hope so though, he's our best chance at it."

T'charrl overheard them and made a remark about it, much to their chagrin. It was a relief that he swore to see it through, albeit what he said and what he would do could be two totally different things. They'd have to wait to see what would happen he supposed, not much else they can do. In the unfortunate event this wasn't going to work out then they'd be scrambling for another solution. The longer they were away and remained silent, Kabocha reflected, the more danger their families were in. Be it treason or failure, if the king should suspect any kind of foul play he'd have the parents executed without second thought. Really it wouldn't hinder them at all if their parents were killed, as heartless a thing as that sounded. It was more a matter of what was right, and they couldn't in good conscience just abandon their families, that wasn't fair.

"We only tried to help fight, we didn't do anything like that. Besides, we'll find a solution to... Whatever this is."

Takeshi didn't feel much in the way of talking to Yumi at the moment, or anyone for that matter, sans Shu. His little brother needed him there to console him. Maybe that was a self-subscribed delusion just to feel like he was wanted, but he rolled with it. It was a bit egotistical perhaps too to think that his sibling couldn't hate him no matter what he did, even if he had snapped like before. Was Shu aware of what he had done yet for that matter? Judging by the smile he was given upon coming back inside he doubted it, his brother wouldn't be smiling if he knew. Whereas Yumi stood over the young Saiyan for him to see her Takeshi had to take a seat to ease his wounds, as standing strained himself too much. When asked about what had happened he offered what he had managed to gather, albeit it wasn't much.

"I don't know what happened Shu, I'm sorry..." Takeshi answered, hanging his head as he closed his eyes. "The squad is okay, and it feels like they're coming back. Two powers came and went though... And I can guess who it was. Who knows though..." he paused, shaking his head and opening his eyes to stare at the floor. "I bet T'charrl is fine, he's got to be, the squad was with him."

As the group landed together by the house it was T'charrl who spoke out first, voicing his worry yet again. To the others he seemed okay, yet he sounded genuinely distressed and unsettled. None of them were quite sure why, or what was causing him to act so odd. He'd had the energy in him before, so how was this different to that, when he'd not changed at all. Was it too much power causing him to be like this? Kabocha frowned when the Prince started off towards the forest, not thinking it was a good idea at all for him to slink off alone. He needed some kind of attention, and Vegeta was liable to be the only one here to be able to give it. If it helped the kid settle down though then maybe going off into the woods was for the best. Exhaling softly the Saiyan glanced down at the General under his arm, seeing the man still basically as limp as a noodle from exhaustion. They just had to turn him in then and be done with it, that would be the end of that.

Yumi was still staring at the tree in bewilderment, absolutely beside herself. How did something that large just appear out of nowhere? For all she knew it could be a regular occurrence on this world, but the equally baffled looks on the Queen's face as well as the other men told her otherwise. The only thing that seemed to make sense was somehow either T'charrl or the General had triggered it and created the plant. They might not be able to ask the Prince what had happened, but there was someone else they could question, and he was being dragged up the walkway right now. The Beastman's eyebrows rose in surprise seeing the other Saiyans returning, a rather defeated Kaesstrian under Kabocha's arm, barely making any effort to move as he was carried along. She watched without word as the group stopped before them, and Kabocha idly threw the General at Eslaria's feet. There was the man she was after then, now to see what she planned to do.

The Queen watched the boys coming back towards them with a hint of surprise. So they had actually done it, she noted, eying the General keenly. This was the end of their ridiculous war, finally. Turning herself to face the boys she crossed all four arms as Yusef was thrown at her feet, glaring down at the man silently. He lifted his head at one point to return her glare but rather quickly laid back down, clearly drained from his exchange. So dealing with him as she saw fit would be no issue then, he'd not exactly resist whatever she was trying to impose on him.

"Well done boys... I'm impressed you managed to keep him in one piece," Eslaria mused, smiling faintly. Looking between the three Saiyans she noted the absence of her son, cocking her head to the side questioningly. "Where is my son? Is he not with you?"

T’charrl was more than just a little panicked and disorientated over what was happening to him, almost feeling as if he was going to go mad before meeting his inevitable doom. His best chance of finding anything to feed from was in the forest he had always searched and gathered from, his survival instincts kicking in pretty quickly. He didn’t want to stumble too far into the woods, just far enough so that his senses could pick up something sweet or edible, maybe sap or flowers, maybe fruit lying around. He didn’t want to think about meat, it disgusted him quite a bit when his entire clan were fruit eaters and not like the surface dwellers.

Stumbling into a suitable place he eventually hit his head on a low branch and fell over, not quite expecting it to be there thanks to his new height. He was still technically a kid; he shouldn’t have to deal with growing pains this much, especially when it involved his whole body mutating into an unstable mess. Rolling over onto his front, he groaned as he rubbed his head slowly, lowering his hand again to look at it, seeing his fur changing into a green colour only frightened him more. His colours were shifting into a camouflage as a result of his fear, something he had natural pigment for before when it came to bark and darkness but this was beyond anything he had seen, even the bulbous orbs sticking out of him had changed their colour. Rolling around for a moment in a panic as his sudden spring tangled himself up in his own limbs, his stomach once again moaning in protest for him to get some nutrition. It was like he was suddenly starving to death and if this body required a lot of maintenance like that there was definitely going to be a lot of problems.

Shu really did hope that T’charrl was okay, he didn’t want to lose any new friends this early on and all he wanted to do was get up and find out himself. He hoped Vegeta would be able to tell him if he was alright to move soon, but the guy was probably exhausted after looking after all of them and with Viral almost dying he was probably under a lot of stress too. Looking to Takeshi, he frowned a little before he let out a sigh, forcing a smile, “I hope you’re right, I believe you’re right”, he spoke a little, squeaking as he shifted himself ever so slightly, “I won’t go anywhere to look, but maybe when I can…I’d like to see that tree. Maybe I’ll get to climb it one time…”

Soon enough, Shu’s worries were eased slightly as everyone appeared to react to the sound of someone approaching, hopefully Takeshi’s friend with T’charrl. As much as he wanted to get up and going he couldn’t, he had to remain here and hope for the best. Trying to listen out for what was going on, he pressed his arms against the couch in a rather feeble attempt to try and see what was going on. Feeling a little worried, all he could do was wait and see what had happened and what was going to be said once the Queen had found out.

Upon arriving, the twins remained silent while Choi kept looking behind him as if wondering if T’charrl was actually following them or really wanted to stay behind. Choi was under the impression that he was going to throw up, but then again who knew if these aliens could do that or even have any problems like that. As the Queen came out of the house and approached them, the twins remained behind Kabocha as if figuring they’d use him as a shield against her just incase she got mad. As the General was delivered and dropped off by her, her words didn’t spark up any concern yet for her son right up until the last moment, Choi gasping a little in response and standing attention with T’charrl’s sword in his hands. He didn’t really want to say what happened, but with Kai nudging his shoulder it was obvious that Kai wanted to avoid the wrath of the Queen as well.

Choi cleared his throat a little, looking up to the Queen and opening his mouth to speak, only becoming hesitant for a moment as his stance dropped, “…Uhh, your son, uhhh”, he stuttered, looking to Kabocha and Kai for help quickly before he frowned, staring back up at the Queen, “Your son fought well and don’t worry, he’s still alive, but…the General uhh, ‘forced’ something out of him. He took in a bunch of that energy that the General insisted on firing at him and turned into a huge monster! We got him back to normal, kinda…uhhh, he wants you to find him in the forest not far from here…like, urgently to talk to you alone…and to bring food of some kind”.

T’charrl was not only having a bad time with his emotions, but his body was really beginning to hurt all over again now not only with all the tumbling around but for a variety of other reasons too. Gasping a little, he slowly forced his way up to try and catch himself, his eyes turning to a large tree nearby as he stumbled over to it. He was well aware of what to do with it, but whether he could get enough nutrition out of it was something he had to rest. Pulling at his spiralled tongue for a second, he looked up to the tree before unravelling it out, reaching up to a weeping crack in the bark. His ancestors used to get their nutrition this way before they started using tools and harvesting some of the trees, but right now he had no time to chop it down and that just might end up alerting others to his location.

Managing to suck out some of the fluids from the tree, he could only stare up and frown, wondering what his mother would ever think of him if she saw him harvesting like a homeless outcast. His body wasn’t feeling better, but his nerves were calming down as he was at least getting some sugar into himself to stop his stomach from rumbling. Letting out a groan, he slowly slinked down the tree, his hands sticking to the bark upon the discovery that he was able to stick to things and adding to his list of problems. Relaxing his hands a little and slowly pulling them off, he slouched against the tree, staring down at his deformed body as he contemplated his future if he ever had one in the first place.

"If you want to climb it then sure, we can do that," Takeshi replied, smiling sadly. "How are you feeling Shu? Can you move at all yet?"

As if on cue the young Saiyan tried to lift himself up to no avail. It was sad to see he couldn't get up yet, but the fact alone he was moving was a welcome sight. He wasn't paralyzed then, if anything just sore. Given some proper rest and plenty of nutrition and he'd be back to himself in no time at all. Thank goodness for that, as it was hard enough as it is to stomach the state that his brother was in. Takeshi silently thanked whatever god there might be for their good fortune, breathing a bit easier now. Deciding to 'get over himself' he placed a hand on the edge of the couch, biting his lip as he pushed himself to his feet with a groan. He then stood at the side of the couch, leaning over Shu so they could speak face to face, a hand outstretched against the arm of the sofa to use as support.

"So... Do you remember what happened now? If you don't that's fine, I just thought I'd ask."

Eslaria had her gaze trained on Choi as he spoke, betraying no emotion whatsoever. It was obvious that her son was not with them, the real question was then where was he. She had expected him to have gone off somewhere, and in a way she was right. But what the Saiyan was telling her simply seemed unreal and made very little sense. What precisely did the boy mean by 'huge monster'? Needless to say the Queen wasn't pleased with the news, staring at Choi sternly while hearing him out. By the time he had finished she was rather cross about everything, exhaling softly and lifting a hand to rub at her forehead. So her son had staggered off elsewhere and was now mutated, and the man responsible for that and the war lay at her feet. The tricky part was figuring out where her priorities lie, and what she she should see to first.

"You let my son mutate into... A monster? Am I understanding this correctly?" A small nod from Kabocha confirmed this, and Eslaria sighed softly. "I see... Garesh? Katas? Restrain the General until I get back, I'm going to find my son!"

The two men did as they were told promptly, each grabbing one of the General's arms and carrying him off towards the house. Garesh kept a hold of him as Katas disappeared inside, returning a moment later with a fair length of rope in hand. Between the two of them they sat Yusef down and secured him to a post of the porch, making certain he wasn't going to go anywhere.

Eslaria meanwhile was making her way into the woods. She had no clue where T'charrl might be aside from the vague "forest" comment that Choi had made earlier, and it didn't help things much. He couldn't have gone too far if they had just shown up moments ago, and if he was indeed deformed in some way she doubted he was moving all that fast. Whatever had happened to him hopefully it could be cured. They'd bring him back home and have Renthal give the Prince a look over, find some kind of solution for it. Though if the royal doctor was at a loss then they might be at their end's with a cure. She supposed worst case scenario the General could be questioned, but somehow she doubted that fanatical moron knew a single thing about the power, or what had happened to her son. First though she had to actually find him.

"T'charrl?" Eslaria shouted, cupping her claws around her mouth. "Young Prince? Where are you? Can you hear me?"

Shu would be quite thankful if he could get up, but as it stood right now he was still going to have a hard time no matter what they did with him. Smiling a little, he let out a sigh and slowly moved his hand, the very process being a little sketchy in movement and simply as if he had his arm picked up and gently shimmied along to his side, “Not really…yet. Uhhh, my body doesn’t hurt, though”, he smiled, but frowned when Takeshi asked him about what he could remember. He didn’t really know how to word it, but he was still going to try his best to make Takeshi feel a little better about what happened as well.

“Umm, I do…now that’s all come back to me, sort of”, he spoke, looking back to Takeshi, “Well…you went down and I tried to fight them off too. I really tried, I did…but they had sharp weapons! Mister Viral tried to help, but he got caught and couldn’t get out a-and…they shoved the sharp thing into him. I got frightened and angry a-and nearly changed again, but…then I woke up here…” The finer details were something he couldn’t remember, but the shock value of some of the things that happened had come back to him. He couldn’t remember whether he had even woken up during that transition from the forest to the sofa, the details as to why they had gone out that way yet.

Choi was absolutely terrified right now and when he was he’d often blab a bit before getting to the point, he definitely didn’t want the Queen going mental on them and kicking their behinds all over the place as a result. She might had assumed the worse when she saw him standing there with his sword, but thankfully she didn’t nearly look quite as close to pounding them into the dirt. Maybe it was a parent thing to be more concerned over his family than blaming those who were delivering the news. Looking to Kabocha before nodding as well, Choi frowned a little before his eyes went to Garesh and Katas before to his brother curiously. Things seemed to be going well; the Queen was off and the General was now being humiliatingly tied to a post until she got back with T’charrl. Letting out a sigh, Kai soon pulled at his arm to lead him inside, his brother’s concerns probably lying with Takeshi indoors.

Kai didn’t know what to make of the situation at all, but then again this was hardly all that different to what they had seen in combat and beyond. It was a common occurrence for Ki users to have different forms of some sort, it would often be that they’d become powered up and end up looking more like the General did when he took in the energy; however, when it involved a stranger type of energy it certainly came out a lot more different. It really was like a mutation more than a transformation, Kai didn’t even know if it was reversible. Entering the living room and seeing Takeshi talking to his brother, Kai stopped and held the General’s swords to his side, “Uhh, Takeshi, Shu…” he muttered, looking between them, “We captured the General. It’s good to see you moving again…and that your brother isn’t away in dreamland…”

T’charrl remained against the tree for a short time, his eyes staring emptily at his body and his claws slowly stroking the large stone on his chest. The sugar wasn’t lasting very long, it didn’t even have energy in it if only giving his stomach a little bit of nutrition. He did make a wonder whether he had still the one stomach or multiples now, the same went for the fact as to whether he had a proper heart left too. Everything was so confusing, his body hurting still and his head throbbing. Ever so slowly he pushed his way up the side of the tree, clawing at it gently to try and get more of its syrupy goodness out as his wings shimmered, sprinkling sparkling dust as they did. He was enjoying that more than he should be, but then again drinking that was the same as sucking on a bottle and could only make him feel just that little bit calmer.

While T’charrl was doing that and trying to forget his troubles, his antennae twitching and raising up could only spell one thing. He could hear the vocalisation of his mother coming from somewhere, not sounding too far away either. Turning with a stumble, he looked around the forest as he slowly rose up on his bent legs, his body stretching out for the first time in a while, “M-Mother…? I-I’m-…” Letting out a sudden gasp, his eye twitched as he slowly hunched down again, raising his hands slowly towards his head. His stomach was suddenly growling again at the thought of her coming to find him, his body shaking as he slowly cusped his hands over his mouth.

He was feeling the overwhelming desire to eat her, his body heaving in response and his feet shifting to try and stop himself. He couldn’t control it, he could smell nothing else other than her coming his way and his mutation had made it just another staple to finding the energy he needed. All living beings had the energy, it didn’t have to be the same energy as his so long as it was something, but maybe he didn’t react to the Saiyans because he knew they could kill him while he had already drained the General and was subsequently stopped from eating him.

Opening his mouth to try and call to her and get her to go away, his hands slowly lowered themselves to show his lips were pulled back, his large teeth showing and sappy drool dripping from his mouth. Slowly moving his feet around to turn away from her just so he could flee, he gasped a few growls before letting out a horrid screech, his fur bristling wildly as he desperately tried to fight the growing urge and intense pain in his body that threatened to turn him into even more of a monster. It was only a moment's wonder that he contemplated the possibility that he was going to grow large again, all before he grabbed onto his head again and pulled it downwards towards the ground in a desperate attempt to cease and resist.

Shu wasn't in pain anymore, that much was good. He couldn't move, but that was probably just due to still being overly sore from the blow to the head. Soon enough he'd be able to bounce around like his regular goofy self. That was the hope anyways, Takeshi couldn't be sure if his brother was really recovering or not. He wasn't hurting, but that could also mean he had lost feeling too. If physically he was improving then perhaps there was some mental recovery as well. While he himself knew what had happened they had to see whether or not Shu could recall it as well. Last time he'd asked it had apparently caused some pain for the boy, and so cautiously he raised the question again, not hoping for a repeat. The younger Saiyan definitely had more knowledge of events this time around, right up until the point where he was struck even. That was honestly the best they could get, as he'd been all but unconscious between then and waking up back here. His memory had come back, he was recovering and for some odd reason he wasn't blaming big brother for doing some fairly bad things. Takeshi smiled gratefully at this, giving a small nod of his head. Now he could go check on Viral, if his sibling was okay with being left alone.

Before Takeshi left the room he and Shu got visitors in the form of the twins. A little surprised to see them here he pushed himself into an upright, standing position, a hand over his stomach as he smiled faintly. Being seen in a sorry state like this was embarrassing, yet he supposed they were bound to see it sooner or later, if they hadn't already. Paying them as much attention as he could he listened to what they had to say, keeping silent until they were through.

"So he's finished? Great, that's awesome news guys." Takeshi paused for a second, glancing down at Shu at his mention before shrugging his shoulders, wincing faintly at doing so. "Ah... If you can call this moving... Neither of us are going anywhere anytime soon unfortunately. Hey..." he trailed off again, looking at the twins curiously. He was about to ask where Kabocha was until said boy walked in behind Kai and Choi, looking a bit on edge. "What's with you?"

"Oh you know... Narrowly avoiding being castrated by the Queen..." Kabocha mumbled, taking a cautionary glance down the hall as he crossed his arms. Like the twins he was glad to see the Princes were okay, perhaps a bit selfishly as they'd need their help to get their families to safety, but glad nonetheless. "These two already spill the beans? We got the General in custody. Though now T'charrl's gone and run off... Uh..." He'd have gone on, but somehow he didn't think it was a good idea. Having said too much already he looked away, whistling softly as he rocked back and forth on his heels innocently.

"T'charrl...? Say something if you can hear me!"

Now this was getting worrisome. Her son was not someone to simply disappear, he knew better than that. If he had indeed become this supposed monster then where had he gone, and why wasn't he answering her calls? It was all very unsettling, Eslaria just wanted to see her son. She didn't think the Saiyans had done anything to him, she believed their story about his running off. Yet she did have to question why they just let him go. If he was panicked or worried than leaving him alone was a bad idea, surely they must have enough brains between the three of them to realize this. Out of the silent forest came a sudden and alarming sound, one that made the Queen instantly draw her weapon. It was a piercing, horrid noise, and nothing like she'd ever heard before. She knew the wildlife of this world very well and that was most certainly not one of those creatures. So then... Was that her son?

Antennae twitching in reply to the shriek the Queen began moving in its direction, her hand securely around the grip of her blade. While she had her weapon in hand there was no intent to use it, at least not if that had been her son. What in the world had happened to him to enable such an unnatural noise though? If this was the General's doing, and she was already determined it was, then his sentencing was going to be much, much harsher. Dismissing the bit of nerves that sprouted from uneasiness she pressed on, slowly moving through the forest and in the direction of the sound.

"T'charrl...? Where are you?"

Shu was hoping that Takeshi wasn’t going to get angrier over what had happened in the forest, seeing as how after saying he had killed them all because of what happened. He was still a little fearful after that, the bodies were all still out there somewhere lying around and knowing that still freaked him out a little. Letting out a sigh when it seemed that Takeshi was fairly settled with what he had said, his attention soon turned to the twins as they walked in, or rather his hearing had picked them up when looking to them wasn’t the easiest thing to do at all. T’charrl wasn’t there, he knew that much and that just made him even more worried over him.

The twins remained fairly silent over the whole thing, seeing as how it wasn’t in their right to speak over what happened quite yet. Glancing to Kabocha when he walked in behind them, Choi slowly slipped over to the side of the room and prompted T’charrl’s sword up against the wall, feeling pretty sure that his parents would want it back now that T’charrl might as well just punch his opponents before they got close enough to use their own swords. Turning to Takeshi, he frowned when Kabocha mentioned T’charrl had run off, only to smile a little instead, “Ehhh, you know how it is…” he spoke, hoping it would ease some minds, “Victory against the General was quite the rush, though. You wouldn’t believe what happened…”

Kai wasn’t really fond of Choi talking like that, it just created an uneasy air in the room and looking to Shu it was already evident that he was only left confused by Choi’s words. Letting out a sigh he approached Takeshi, holding the swords to his side, “Since you probably wanted to deck him in, thought you’d might like the prize instead”, he spoke, holding out the two swords before he placed them to the side of the couch, “T’charrl seemed interested on saving them, so we took them. He doesn’t seem to want them anymore, though…for multiple reasons…”

T’charrl could hear his mother, his senses had fair picked up pretty well on these things and improved significantly; however, that didn’t mean he wanted to hear her. He thought everything would be okay once he had seen his mother, but instead his body was having another attack. He couldn’t take it, he wouldn’t be able to live his life like this if this was going to be a common occurrence; he’d have to be put down eventually before he became a killer. Hissing through the building thick saliva forming in his mouth, he slowly moved forward a few steps, his legs shaking and his body heaving something awful.

The voice sounded close now, T’charrl slowly trying to move away from it as he remained hunched and low. He couldn’t help but flinch at every crunching noise that came from within his body, everything feeling as if it was shifting the more he moved. Eventually collapsing forward, his elbows prevented his body from completely hitting the floor. Becoming silent for a moment he went through an almost dazed moment, a loud gargling noise only indicated one thing as he slowly looked up as the deep crackling rumble sounded through his body.

There just on the other side of a shrub was his mother and just as he saw her, his eyes widened in fright as he opened his mouth to speak only for his already sharp teeth to grow larger out of his mouth and his eyes glazed over. With horrible sharp bursts of growth his body he began to mutate again, his body expanding before large growing spurts shot through his arms one at a time, his legs collapsing under the weight for a moment before they too bulged up along with his lower abdomen. As his chest and shoulders became consumed with fur-covered muscles, the orbs across his body expanded along with him as his wings stretched to size. With his growth slowing to a halt, his body was once again transformed into the drooling monster, his height not as drastic as before but still managing to reach the treetops as he stared down at his own mother with hungry eyes.

"What do you mean he ran off...? Where is he?" Takeshi asked, earnestly bewildered. He didn't think the kid was going to up and disappear, not after such a big event. "And how come you three didn't try to stop him?"

This was going to end so badly for all of them if the Queen found out. Though come to think of it they had probably seen her first, and yet here they all were, relatively unharmed. Had she gone off to look for her son then? This was driving him nuts not knowing the details, he hated having to sit things out. In spite of his injuries he was a fair bit tempted to go out and search to, wanting to do something besides lay about all day. As prideful as he was though he recognized he'd be slow, and only a nuisance to whoever else might be searching. Begrudgingly the best thing he could do he realized was stay put and wait it out. Expressing his disappointment in a sigh Takeshi raised his head when Kai approached, his eyes immediately going to the two swords. They were the General's, or at least one was that he recognized immediately.

"What do I get a prize for...?" the Saiyan chimed, frowning as he gave Kai a funny look. "I didn't do anything. You guys keep them, you earned them after all. It'd be a waste not to take them, they're pretty cool."

Still, he had been eyeballing them since day one, and perhaps a bit naively thought they would be neat to have. He'd never held one before, let alone used one in combat, but he was willing to give it a try. Gritting his teeth behind a small smile Takeshi leaned down, snatching up one of the swords in his left hand carefully. It was relatively light, yet he gave the handle a squeeze and was surprised by how sturdy it felt. The blade in of itself was tempered from a light blue material, perhaps three quarters of a meter in length. Its edges were straight as can be, meeting at the tip in a broad albeit sharp point. The hilt in of itself was impressive too, made from a material he couldn't quite recognize. It didn't feel metallic, yet had a cool feeling to the touch and looked like steel. The hand guard was a simple elliptical piece of the same material, and the grip was wrapped in a red cloth. It was a pretty looking sword, if nothing else. Turning his body away from the others he raised it up, giving it two quick strokes before smiling thoughtfully. He had no clue how to use it, but he'd keep it.

"On second thought... I'll take this one. Don't have a clue how to fight with one, but I can always learn..." Takeshi took a pause, frowning before looking over at the twins and Kabocha, flushing slightly. "Uh... How do you carry one of these?"

This was not comforting at all. What if something had incapacitated T'charrl? He could be out in the forest somewhere, unable to move or speak, and she wouldn't be able to find him. The Queenly front that she presented before others quickly melted away in solitude, giving way to a more sincere and open motherly concern. She still gripped her sword confidently, but there was a clear look of worry and concern on her face. The Prince had already been lost once, and nearly died from it. He was still recovering, and it was very questionable whether or not he'd be able to survive a second time. The General had been beaten, they had won. She didn't want the victory to be also the day that her son was lost to them, she refused to let that happen. Eslaria silently vowed not to stop looking until she found her son, or until Garesh or Katas came back to drag her home.

It wasn't T'charrl's voice that would eventually reply to the Queen's pleas. Rather, the sound of trees breaking and limbs snapping met the silence, and it didn't sound too far off at all. Alerted to the crashing sounds she spun about on her heels, raising the sword in both hands as she expected a beast to be bearing down on her. What she saw though was not a beast, at least not one that she readily recognized. Really she had no clue what it was she was looking at, only that it was unnerving. The creature, whatever it was, looked like an unusually large Kaesstrian. Everything about it screamed unnatural though, from its bulbous muscle mass to its unrivaled height, there was no way that it could be normal. What's more it was looking down at her, much like a predator did to its prey right before the kill. It was a sickening, feral look that told her she was in a great bit of danger. Eslaria, warrior queen of the Kaesstrians, felt her body chill and her heart near stop in her chest, what was this thing? Fighting her nerves to stand her ground her eyes slowly looked over the beast, trying to place just what it was. As her eyes settled on its face once more she stared for a moment, hoping to find something noteworthy there. It was then realization set in, and in shock her arms lowered themselves, her eyes wide as she felt the fight drain right out of here. It couldn't be him, there was just no way. Yet the features, and even to a degree the coloration of the fur, there was no mistaking it.

"T'charrl....?" she whispered hoarsely, dropping her sword. "Is that you...?"

Choi and Kai looked between each other when Takeshi further questioned T’charrl’s disappearance, Choi looking back to Kabocha to see if he would speak up but he was remaining silent as well. It was really difficult to explain, he didn’t even know if Takeshi was even allowed to know just incase the Queen managed to reverse whatever had been done to him and make it out as if nothing had happened. It was definitely making Choi feel guilty, he didn’t know whether it was making Kai unsettled but Choi was used to telling everything in a mission brief and that had definitely been a mission. Maybe he should wait a bit before saying anything, especially with Shu there all staring and looking for answers too.

Kai stared down at Takeshi as he spoke to him, shaking his head a little when he doubted that he had actually done anything, “Look, you may had not fought the battle, but all we did was make sure the Prince was okay and…that much we managed to complete, sort of”, he spoke, giving a glance to Choi before back to Takeshi, nodding a little, “You did most of the work and want to help us, so why shouldn’t we give you something in return?”

The blades meant very little to the twins, neither of them were weapon experts and definitely didn’t know how to handle a blade unless it was a kitchen knife and chopping up carcasses and additional harvested goods. Watching as Takeshi picked up the blade and analysed it, he stepped backwards and glanced over at Kabocha, wondering if he would want to say anything on the matter. It was hard to tell whether the guy was showing off any concern or had anything to say to encourage Takeshi. The guy was lost in his own little world, a little annoying considering they were having to do all the talking and making sure the kid didn’t freak out over the Prince and that Takeshi didn’t get angry and try to go and find him too.

Watching Takeshi test the sword, Kai tilted his head slightly when he spoke, giving his approval over one but showing how little he actually knew about them. Letting out a sigh he shook his head, frowning a little, “You know, you’ll get a sheath made for it and pull it out whenever you want to use it”, he spoke simply, acting as if Takeshi was a lot more simpler minded, “You’d use the back of it for the blunt edge and the other side for the sharp edge. It acts as an extension of your arm, you know? C’mon, it’s not that hard, but if you don’t want the pair then I’ll give the other to the Queen once she comes back. She shouldn’t be long, hopefully”.

T’charrl’s energy levels were in a terrible state which well reflected the lust for a top-up, only daring to consume the one thing that was in front of him that would give a high dose of it. His body shaking with uncontrolled power and fury, his eyes only went to the blade that could easily threaten to pierce his body and damage him. Clenching his claws as he slowly stood up some more, his body cracked into place and the branches shifted above his head as he made one final movement to make a grab for his mother, his claws coming down at her to take hold of her and pull her into his mouth.

Just as his claws were close to her, he wasn’t deaf to her speaking his name as it pierced through the unbridled fury and primitive nature as his claws stopped. At the drop of the sword and the muttering words of his mother to him, his claws remained hovering in the air before he slowly pulled them back, panting heavily as he moved his great hulking body. Only now was the realisation that he was about to eat his mother getting through to him, his aggressive eyes suddenly fearful as he pulled back, grunting and gasping before he backed off into a tree and accidentally tearing it out of the ground with his size.

Everything he was fearing now was happening, he was so sure he could keep himself under control but it still proved to be outside influences that kept him sane. This monstrous beast he had become had only remained dormant, his slightly more ‘regular’ appearance was simply a disguise to what he truly was. Raising his bulky arms to his head in a feeble attempt to hide his face, he turned around and tried to flee from her only really succeeding in stumbling away and banging into a few trees before falling over his own massive feet in a pathetic pile.

The sword would definitely take some getting used too, but it seemed too neat to pass up. Shu had his staff now, Viral had his cleaver. Vegeta didn't have a weapon, but hell, he could make one, and Yumi was basically feral. He'd certainly never speak that last bit out loud, he mused. Point being was he lacked anything distinguishing, and this sword was just what he needed. Until he used it in combat Takeshi knew he wouldn't appreciate fully what he had in his hand, but he'd cross that bridge when it came to. For now he was just going to enjoy looking at it. Even as novice as he was he was confident it was a work of art, definitely moreso than some of the swords he had seen before. He didn't quite know what to do with it at the moment, having a lack of anywhere to store something like this. Irritatingly Kai thought he'd be funny and give him a sarcastic response.

"Ha ha ha... Very funny Kai. I know how a sword works," Takeshi replied, narrowing his eyes at the other boy. "I mean I don't have a sheath or anything for it. I guess I will have to get one made though... Carrying it around as is probably won't sit well with most people." Shaking his head at the thought the Saiyan carefully set his sword down on the coffee table, returning his gaze to the group once again. "Seriously though... Where did T'charrl go? Why did he run into the woods?"

Kabocha returned Kai's angry glare, really not wanting to spill the beans. The three of them all knew how the guy could get, and this was definitely going to be something that he'd flip over. When prompted to reply again he knew full well that the twins weren't going to say a word, meaning he had to come up with a response. Sighing softly he adjusted his weight on his feet, crossing his arms and looking at Takeshi. Right as the Prince looked his way he cringed, even though the look was only one of questioning.

"Well... Like we said he ran off into the woods... Cuz he's kinda..." Kabocha took a pause, biting his lip as he looked away again. "Well... He turned into a creature and freaked out. We didn't stop him... We really didn't know what to do, so we brought the General here instead."

There was an awkward moment of silence after that as no one said anything. Kabocha only stood there as Takeshi kept looking at him, fidgeting uneasily in his spot until he finally had to look away. The accompanying sound then of the sword scraping as it was lifted off the table made him jump in surprise, taking a step back and putting his hands up defensively. He thought he was going to be beset upon by an angry Saiyan, but instead he blinked in confusion and watched as the injured boy walked right on by him, leaving the room wordlessly. Exchanging uncertain looks with the twins and Shu he took a moment's pause before grabbing Takeshi by the shirt, his brow furrowed together in confusion.

"Where the heck are you going? You're hurt!" His hand was shrugged free from the shirt, and Kabocha was left standing there with a confused expression.

"I'm going to go help, what do you think?" Takeshi muttered, glancing over his shoulder at his friend. He didn't look particularly angry, if anything upset. With a hand still on his stomach he used his shoulder to push open the door, staggering outside before slowly lifting off the ground and starting to fly off into the woods. He'd keep the sword, if only in case more of the General's men might be lurking about and he'd need it. With the guy in question bound not too far off though he doubted they'd try raiding the house so soon. Besides, the squad was there, he could leave in good conscience knowing everyone there would be safe.

Eslaria found herself frozen in her spot, looking up a the hulking creature that was her son. She couldn't find it in her to do much of anything other than gawk, even as he reached down for her. Whatever he was intending to do, hurt her or reach for help, she couldn't lift so much as a finger. There was a definite shock factor at seeing her child like this, so deformed and twisted, it broke her heart. Before the massive claws wrapped around her tiny frame they retracted, and in a fit of confusion she watched as T'charrl toppled back into a tree, tearing the plant down with ease. The Queen cringed as her son stumbled about, watching somberly as he finally came crashing down, tumbling to the ground sorrowfully. It was still unsettling to see him this way, but it was becoming apparent that it was still indeed her son. The way he was cowering on the ground, and even the small sounds of distress he was making, all of it reassured her that her child was indeed still in there.

"T'charrl... I'm here..." she said softly, slowly approaching the mutated Kaesstrian. "There's no reason to be afraid." Tentatively she reached out, placing a hand on his shoulder and giving it a small rubbing, offering a tiny smile. "Your mother is here darling. You're going to be okay, understand me?"

Kai shrugged a little at Takeshi’s response, folding his arms when he gave his reasoning for his awkward question. It would only seem logical to get one done, maybe they could get one made on this planet. They had a lot of time they could spend on this planet away from the Saiyan Empire considering the energy managed to keep them away, but of course they couldn’t always seek refuge here. The resources here were definitely open and if the Prince’s power was anything to go by he could probably roast an entire group of Saiyans with that energy, so long as he didn’t hulk out and crush them instead.

Scratching his ear a little, he nodded before looking to Kabocha again as Takeshi brought up the question once more, his brother also looking to Kabocha at the sound of the question. There was definitely a lot of things they could say instead, but they might not add up if the Prince came back and looked different like he did. It was a pretty difficult thing to explain, even Shu was staring at them with some sort of hope in his eyes while looking absolutely worried. Guess the kid really did like that bug a lot, or maybe it was the kid being creepy in general as usual.

Just as Choi went to open his mouth and speak instead Kabocha decided to talk, turning straight towards him again to see what excuse he was going to come up with. Feeling nervous, all of that quickly increased as Kabocha instead decided to tell the truth and his eyes quickly turned to Takeshi as if expecting him to react horribly to this. Staring at him with wide eyes, he almost jumped when Takeshi snatched up the sword and immediately stumbled on out of the door. This was bad, the guy was probably going to go search for him or possibly kill him with that sword. It was a fairly desperate situation, but the twins definitely kept their distance for now right up until Kai made a move just as Takeshi left, walking off towards the door as well before speaking up, “Don’t scare him, got it? His mother is out there”, Kai spoke as Takeshi flew off and away.

Shu didn’t know what it all meant or just what they meant by turning into a creature, the words were really strange and confusing, “A c-creature…? What…but…what does that mean…?” he asked out, trying to get up himself but it was impossible right now, just wanting to go and see his friend in his time of need, “T’charrl, my friend…how? What happened? What do you mean ‘creature’?? Ohhhh, but he’s so nice and brave…” It was definitely scary to not understand anything of what was going on, even the fact that the apparent tree had appeared not too long before they arrived back, “Did he make the tree…? How? How do you make trees? I thought trees make trees…”

T’charrl could only lay down, puffing and panting as he moved his massive arms around and clawed at the ground. He couldn’t believe himself, he had inflated into the monster all because his mother’s vibe had been picked up and was potentially seen as food. What a disgrace he was to his family, to his people; he had already been seen as weak and pretty pathetic before but now this was a new low that had been reached and would most likely see him destroyed because of what he had become. He needed so much right now, he had to get food before his eyes turned on his mother again and couldn’t stop himself from doing the absolute worst.

Closing his eyes for a brief moment, he opened them quickly and immediately they were directed towards his mother as she once again approached him, figuring out that his name and vocal prompts were the best way to stop him from doing something evil and vicious. With his large eyes set on her, he wheezed and hissed in a series of rapid big breaths, his lower abdomen vibrating as if displaying just how much fear he was feeling right now. Staring at her as she placed a hand upon his bulking, deformed furry shoulder, he listened to her before he slowly moved his head towards her, stretching out to rub against her solemnly before he stopped suddenly, his head pulling back as a deep vibration came from his stomach and slowly he was pushing himself up into a standing position again.

He couldn’t forget that he was hungry, that had been the very reason that he had changed and he was only going to get more monstrous the longer he ignored his needs. He had to keep his mind off his mother, he might end up turning around and ending up snatching her up before she could say anything. Letting out a deep verbal hiss before screeching, he pulled at a tree and bent it right down, his large jaws ripping off and swallowing branches and leaves all while trying to get any fruit if there was some growing in it. It was horribly upsetting for him, his desperate attempts to fulfil his desires and change to a more manageable size had him reaching out to whatever was close enough and eating it whether or not it was actually digestible.

"Your friend's gonna be fine Shu, don't worry." Kabocha said, turning back to the younger Prince. Oh great, now the weird one was going to freak out and change too. The latter part of the question was well beyond him, and all he could do was heft his shoulders in reply. "How should I know? It just did... Besides, the place it sprouted up was crappy anyways. Heck, it looks better now than it did before. I'd say there's nothing to worry about it." Nodding his head in Shu's direction he looked to either of the twins, hoping for someone to back him up. The last thing he wanted was Shu going all ape on them and having an episode.

Eslaria wanted to console T'charrl anyway she could, he definitely looked like he needed it. Since his size was much too large to hug all she could do was give his shoulder a rub, offering a gentle smile in tandem. Seeing him now for what he was it was difficult to keep the same hope of reverting him back to his former self. It was a very drastic change, and whether it was irreversible or not was doubtful. In truth she'd always see him as her son, but for obvious reasons being any real kind of mother to someone this... Large was going to pose problems. Namely feeding him, as no doubt his appetite had expanded along with the rest of him. Sure enough he opted to show her his newly found hunger, letting out a disdainful sound before getting back to his feet. Watching in silent awe as he uprooted and proceeded to devour it whole she couldn't well think of how they were going to help that. Desperate to do something though she couldn't just stand there either, not while her son was suffering.

"You're going to be okay," Eslaria reaffirmed, spreading her wings and slowly rising up. "We'll help you T'charrl, don't worry."

Moving her smaller self over she hovered near her son's head for a moment, hesitant to get close to him based on how erratic his behavior was right now. Exhaling softly she moved closely, putting her arms around his shoulder as she nestled her own head into his tufts of fur. It was a peculiar feeling, but she knew she had to seem embracing to get him to calm down. She had to show he was still her boy, even if he thought he wasn't. After hugging his shoulder for a moment she lifted her head to look at him, smiling sweetly as she stroked his arm.

"I suppose I can't call you my little Prince right now..." Eslaria mused, laughing shortly and shaking her head. "But I will be able to soon, and then we'll help your friends and go home. Everything is over darling, you don't have to be afraid anymore. I'm not going to hurt you, and I know you won't hurt me."

Vegeta watched curiously as Takeshi flew out of the house, not even bothering to ask where he was off to. Considering the Queen had just gone off in the same direction it was fairly obvious he was going after her for whatever reason, and knowing full well telling him otherwise was a waste he let it be. Besides, there were other things that needed his attention, namely their friend still laid out in the kitchen. The tremor hadn't done any noticeable damage to the house, but still, it was worthwhile to make sure that Viral was okay. Turning his head to look at Yumi he gave her arm a nudge, gesturing to the house over his shoulder.

"Come on, we're not needed out here. Give me a hand with Viral?"

Yumi nodded, all the willing to make herself of some use. Together with Vegeta they went back inside, bypassing the family room where Shu and the squad were completely to go right to the kitchen. There, to both of their relief, was the Beastman unharmed from the tremors. However all did not seem well with him, there was a distinguished look of anguish on his face. Vegeta took that as a sign to immediately check his wounds, and she watched just off to the side as he peered beneath the bandages. The wounds from before had already begun to heal, albeit at a marginally small pace. If it was indeed the injury healing then they weren't about to do much about it, it'd be silly to agitate a closing wound just because of discomfort. Yumi passed a glance over the rest of his being, checking for any other causes for his distress until settling on his face. She saw that his eyes were closed, and when reaching down to touch his cheek they remained closed. She wondered if he might be unconscious at first, but then he'd not be thrashing about. So he was having a nightmare then.

Biting her lip nervously Yumi reached down, grabbing up one of Viral's paws in her hands. They shouldn't wake him up, since didn't he heal when he was asleep? Yet this didn't seem like a restful slumber, not with all the tossing and turning. Relaying her worries to Vegeta with a silent glance he gave a curt nod in reply, giving the go ahead to rouse the Beastman. Keeping one hand on his paw she reached down again, using just her fingers to pat his cheek to try and get him to come to. At the same time she gave his hand intermittent squeezes, not wanting to do anything too drastic and risk hurting her friend.

"Viral? Viral wake up!" Yumi was, however, far more liberal in how she used her voice. She raised it a fair bit, not quite shouting but definitely louder than a whisper. "You're okay, wake up!"

Shu just stared at Kabocha, listening to his reassurance while not entirely sure to how he was actually supposed to take it all in. He was beginning to understand that a lot of aliens had their own hidden powers, hearing T’charrl mention his before all this made him question that but maybe all aliens were capable of becoming powerful warriors like that fuzzy Elite on that snowy planet. He was a little scared for T’charrl, he knew personally how finding a hidden power could be so stressful and his friend was worried about acceptance more than anything, “I-I see…really…? I guess that’s…good”, he spoke, trying to find some light in the confusing darkness, “But…how a creature…? Like an animal…?”

Choi raised an eyebrow at Shu, scratching his neck slowly before he shrugged, “Ehh, why is it important? But if you must know, he’s hairier than what he used to be and is kinda colourful”, he spoke, not wanting to go into any of the finer details like longer limbs, his weird tail-butt thing and crazy orbs of power sticking out of him, “He might just hate colour or something? Everything will be fine soon once his mother gets him and calms him down, okay? Just don’t freak out or things might get hairy…if you know what I mean”.

T’charrl wasn’t enjoying this by any means, eating this thing was like chewing on clothing or furniture, not to mention the trees were precious and one with the planet; then again, as he began to munch on it and digest the tree’s fibre he could feel the energy of the planet flow into him which granted him some relief. He would have to apologise to the planet later on, he had to apologise for a lot of things, even to his grandmother to whom he promised never to let the power get to his head. This whole thing must had happened before, but on a lesser scale when it was the General’s fault that he was like this and the guy’s own energy was corrupt, just as he assumed the mastermind behind the culling of his race would be.

Using his large hands to shove the tree down his gullet, he licked his teeth before letting out a pretty nasty cough, causing fragments of leaves and bark to fly out of his throat. His rapid digestive system was easily able to rid the tree from his gut and turn it to pure energy, and yet he was still feeling slight hunger like any normal person would when they were missing a meal. Staring down at the ground, he hissed lowly in each breath as his mother spoke, his jaw agape as if in exhaustion already as hopelessness built up inside.

With his eyes directed to the ground, his mother hovering over so she was in vision made him turn his head slowly, his large eyes sharpening their gaze onto her as if the aggression was slowly crawling back again; however, that all soon stopped as she touched him once again, even trying to give him a hug despite how puny she was compared to him. Shaking a little, he stared at her as whatever his heart had become started to pound, his mind remembering all that he needed to now. Letting out a low groan, he silenced himself when she spoke again, his mind going back to those times when she’s call him that and act proud of him.

Sniffling a little, he slowly moved one of his larger claws towards her hesitantly, his mind delving into more intricate thought that what he had been thinking previously. Going home seemed like an odd option, he’d have to learn to control himself above anything if he was going to bring a halt to these growing spurts. He didn’t know if he could change back into what he was like before, he could remember his skin ripping open as if it was simply a shell before his body wildly mutated, even his organs had all changed and rearranged themselves with the change continuing. He was afraid of what he was becoming, whether it was for the better of his planet or succumbing to the possible consumption of power and becoming a monster permanently before having to be put down.

With all that going through his mind, his monstrous impulses began to die down, his stomach somewhat satisfied for now and sure enough the distinct pain was returning and he was soon flinching as an intense straining sound vocalised from his body. Feeling the intense strain on his body, he gradually began to shrink again, his body losing muscle and height while his face gradually returned to normal; however, everything else from before remained. He still had the long curled tongue, he still had sharpened teeth, the coloured fur covering his body, the long arms, the orbs sticking out of his body, the fat and longer lower abdomen and still fair height at near enough two and a half metres. The fact that he had eaten a tree was not evident at all, but his pain still caused him to collapse for a moment as his mind rushed back to him.

The quake and all the talking had hardly even made Viral move, all of the moving had been done all by himself. He was unable to wake up by himself, he probably would had never gone to sleep if he could had helped it but the severe pain had knocked him out completely. The nightmares rattled his mind pretty hard, everything was coming at him and all the pain he was feeling in reality was just projecting itself as the pure torture he had felt when incarcerated. There was no way he could ever wake up by himself until he had healed, it all feeling like a drill being continuously turned in his gut and forcing its way down through his body.

As Vegeta and Yumi came in there was no reaction to their presence, even as they hovered around him like the figures in his dream. These nightmares were constant and even came to him when he was alone with his thoughts, but everything in the dream was something he couldn’t snap out of until he physically woke up. Flinching and twitching in his sleep, he breathed in quick gasps sometimes when the pain spiked, his fingers twitching as well as Yumi took a hold of his paw in an attempt to comfort him in his sleep.

Barely making a reaction to her patting of his cheek except for his eye twitching, he did slightly turn his head away a little in reaction and continued to be lost in his sleep. The voice of Yumi was distant and echoed, the calls feeling awfully far off until she got louder, his heart jumping slightly before his eyes flickered a little before opening with a gasp, flinching a little as he woke up in a fairly distressed state. The sight of Yumi startled him pretty well, everything was changed completely to reality and it had managed to frighten him pretty well with him not coming quite close to understanding the difference between a dream and being awake. As his mind was brought back again, he looked to Yumi’s blurry form, feeling completely disorientated, “…W-Wha-…No…why are you-…I’m fine…” he spoke, sounding just completely groggy and probably on the verge of drooling as a result.

This time around it was Kabocha's turn to dope slap Choi, hitting him upside the back of the head with a small smack. They had all thought that Shu changing would be bad, but everyone else had enough tact not to say it. Even as indirectly as that, he'd still come out and said it. Giving Shu an uneasy glance the other Saiyan smiled, walking to the edge of the couch. Hesitantly he reached down, patting the Prince's head before withdrawing his hand again and taking a small step back. It was really hard to feel at ease around this kid, and when T'charrl had just transformed into some kind of creature it didn't bode well. At least the kid was fairly calm right now albeit confused. So long as they kept him that way they should be okay.

"He's going to be fine, that's that. His mom just went to find him and your brother probably just went to do the same thing, so don't worry."

If this was what Shu was like constantly it was no wonder Takeshi was always acting irritatingly cheerful. The slightest thing got him all depressed, and frankly it was bumming Kabocha out. He could understand it if Shu was a little kid, but really he wasn't. There was only a few years gap between all of them, so it wasn't as if they were that different in that regard. The maturity gap between them and the younger Prince was astounding though, and if he didn't know better he'd put Shu's age around eight or so. If this was what having a sibling was like then he was pretty glad he was an only child.

Eslaria kept as still as she could during the embrace, only moving her hand in a gentle stroking motion. It may not help anything other than calm T'charrl's nerves, but until they had another means of helping she'd settle for that much. By the sounds that she could make out he seemed to be settling down, definitely nowhere near as panicked as he had been. Well that was a welcome relief, she could do that much for him at least. Giving him another hug she paused when he began to shift, almost worried that he was going to take off and try to run away again. That didn't turn out to be the case, the truth was more startling than that. She could feel his muscles begin to shift beneath his skin, a rather unsettling feeling at that. Uncertain what was going on she removed her arms from around him, backing off a little ways for somewhat of a safety margin. What she witnessed had her just as shocked as upon first seeing her child lumbering over him. By some inexplicable cause the Prince began to shrink, losing a great deal of muscle mass and regaining his familiar features and even his fur to a smaller degree had come back, though he retained a fair many of his new ones too. Even so, it was more like her son than the creature before, and that had her elated.

With a bright smile she landed noiselessly on her feet, glancing up at her son adoringly. He was still taller than she was, though only by a head this time, far more manageable. With a slimmer frame she could now approach him easily, and without a single word she wrapped her arms around his midsection, mindful of the odd orb protruding from his chest. She didn't know what it was, or the other ones for that matter, and couldn't care to ask. At the present the only thing that concerned her was getting her child back, enough to a point where he was himself again. After simply holding him the Queen looked up, smiling sadly as she gazed into T'charrl's eyes. He may look different, but this was irrefutably her little Prince.

"There's by boy..." Eslaria remarked cheerfully, reaching up and patting his cheek. "Welcome back."

Yumi smiled brightly when Viral finally came to, clasping his paw in both of her hands. He'd woken from whatever torment he'd been sleeping through, relatively easily at that. She wanted to be supportive of him and make sure he was okay, but upon noting the trickle of drool on the corner of his mouth she had to take one hand back, covering her own mouth to stifle a giggle. Viral never drooled, certainly not in his sleep. Even if he had been having a nasty nightmare there was something humorous in this. Settling herself back down she released Viral's paw, tucking her own hands behind her back and swaying a little on the spot that she stood. Beaming down at him with an innocent smile she figured she might as well justify his mumblings with a response.

"Good morning sleepy head, sorry for waking you. You didn't seem fine though, you were having a bad dream." Yumi explained, doing her best to somber up a bit. "And... There may have been a small earthquake not ten minutes ago. So Vegeta and I figured we'd come in and check on you, make sure that you were okay."

"Which you seem to be doing fine," Vegeta added, smiling slightly as he replaced Viral's bandages onto the wound. "We'll give you some new ones in a bit, but your injury is already beginning to heal up. I'd say give it a few more hours and it may even close, depending on how your healing is acting. While I've got you here, is there anything else that is bugging you?"

Shu stared at Choi and Kabocha in confusion, his expression squinting a little bit when Choi was slapped but trying to figure out for what reason. He hadn’t caught on to what Choi had said at all, phrases like that were completely lost to him and his first guess was it was to do with pulling their hair out or something and getting hair everywhere. Frowning a little he looked back to the roof, but as Kabocha came over and gave him a pat on the head he watched his hand, feeling only momentarily confused before letting out a sigh, “I hope so…I really do…” he frowned, looking to Kabocha, “I hope Takeshi will be okay too, I mean…he’s still hurting and shouldn’t be out there by himself. I’m glad you are okay too, you still need to get your parents…so long as T’charrl comes back”.

The way back to ‘normal’ was a horrible feeling and if his mother had kept a hold of him she’d probably become ill just from feeling what was going on with his body. With his body shrinking to a size that was manageable for him and his mother, he was weakened by a fair degree for a moment and left rocking on his feet, his lower abdomen twitching to try and keep balance before eventually his mother embraced him, allowing him to relax. The orbs on his body were cold, but as he slowly managed to come to again after his massive body shift they gradually warmed up and lit up again with energy if a little dim.

He was fair concerned by his changes, but at least he had some energy gathered inside him and he wasn’t feeling like he was dying anymore. He was still hungry, even after eating an entire tree but the difference between that and real food was it was out of pure desperation and wasn’t real food. Twitching a little as he gradually gained control over his movements again, he stared back at his mother with tired eyes before they saddened, his hand shakily reaching up to hers as she gave his cheek a pat, “M-Mother…I…I’m-…” he stuttered, freezing for a moment before he wrapped his lanky arms around her, shaking, “Mother! Please…help me! Please…I’m so scared! What’s happening to me…please…”

T’charrl was terrified once more, even hugging his own mother was proving to be difficult when he couldn’t judge the distance his limbs now created as opposed to what they used to be. Everything about him was feeling worrying, he just couldn’t see who could possibly help him other than his mother. Pressing up against her he kept his eyes closed, only moving a little when his whole thought process began to crumble, “Your plans for the future! I-I ruined them…they’re all ruined! I’m sorry…I’m sorry! What do I do…”

Needless to say Viral was fairly disorientated, his eyes wandering around tiredly as he tried to wake up. He really didn’t know what was going on at first until he wiped his face, snorting tiredly after before rubbing his head slowly. He didn’t mean to fall asleep, he thought for sure he would had died if he had fallen asleep and then there was the whole torturous dreams he had. As he slowly found his mind and bearings, his eyes wandered over to Yumi again after he had given his intensive search of his surroundings, feeling a little fed up already.

It was awkward having to be woken up like that when he didn’t want to fall asleep in the first place, he didn’t even know why they had allowed him to fall asleep. His skin still felt like it was burning but it wasn’t as bad as it was before, his hand slowly moving to his chest before it moved away again, frowning at Yumi as she spoke, “What…? I-…I don’t dream”, he mumbled, slowly wiping his mouth before halting as she spoke of an earthquake, “Earthquake…? What? I didn’t need checking on, I’m not a child…”

Giving Vegeta a quick glance before grumbling a sigh, he watched him as he prepared some new bandages for him before his eyes wandered away, his body still feeling drained of blood and giving him some horrible light-headedness too. Letting out a groan as he rubbed his face, he gave Vegeta a quick glance before looking away again with a frown, “Nothing that won’t kill me, probably. I’m not going to talk about my health considering how you two react around me about it”. He was fairly hesitant to open up to them still, but even without hesitation he still wasn’t prepared to talk about the nightmares that still tortured him when he slept. He really didn’t like sleeping anymore, but it was growing inevitable as time went on and his body slowly exhausted itself, “…What’s with that strange energy? How long have I been unconscious…”

"Ah come on, you're brother is too stubborn for anything bad to happen to him," Kabocha quipped, smiling slightly. He reached down to punch Shu's shoulder playfully but stopped himself, thinking better of it. Probably best he doesn't give Takeshi a reason to kill him when he got back. "T'charrl's going to be fine too. Everything's going to be just great, so don't sweat it."

The balancing act of keeping Shu calm was already proving to be a headache. Their fear of the boy was grossly exaggerated, but as far as the squad was concerned he might go ape at any moment, and at least in Kabocha's mind he wanted to prevent that at all costs. Tucking his hands away in his pockets he swayed back and forth on his feet a little, wondering just what to do now. Really until the Prince came back and got their parents here their part was done with. Considering how big of a fit that the kid had been throwing the chances of him coming back any time soon were not terribly likely unfortunately. Best get used to being in this house, he mused a tad bitterly. Could be worse... He could be back in the king's command, there was always a worse.

The simple act of being able to hold her son again was by far the greatest delight of the day. The General's capture and the end to the war was a great achievement to be sure, but this eclipsed that completely. The moment that she held him was so emotionally straining and touching that for the first time in a very great while Eslaria felt tears threatening to roll onto her cheeks. Vigorously she blinked them back, not wanting to alarm the Prince with any unusual emotional displays. When his arms wrapped around her and he began to plead for help that's when her heart finally gave in and melted, the ice sheath that surrounded it from the long, stressful war vanishing immediately. Taking a secure hold of her son she reached up, near having to get on her toes as she stroked the back of her head, emitting a low, soft humming sound similar to a coo as she tried to soothe him.

"Don't be scared, little Prince, it's going to be okay," the Queen whispered, her own voice taught with emotion. "We'll find out what this is, and we'll help get you back to your old self. Renthal is the best doctor we have, he'll have you cured in no time darling." Even as she spoke it the words didn't sound very hopeful to her. True, Renthal was a wizard in medicine, but this was like nothing they had ever seen before. It was very likely that nothing in their arsenal of natural remedies, or even any of their technological cures could fix this change. So what could then?

Takeshi flew rather slowly as he searched for the Queen and T'charrl, being mindful to scan the area as carefully as possible. His body was still relatively weak, and every time he had to land to gather more energy he nearly collapsed. He wanted to be of use though, to someone, and who better than the friend of his kid brother. It was a beautiful thing, the medicine that the Prince had given him earlier. Despite having open wounds they did not bleed at all, nor did they really hurt. There was only a dull ache where the injuries sat, yet aside from that it was almost as if he had no wounds whatsoever. It would be a while yet until his Ki was able to fully recover from all of this, right now his body too busy mending to create proper amounts. That was fine though, the fighting was over with, and shy of this flight he really had no use of it. The search was proving to be relatively fruitless, after all it was a large forest to cover in a single man search. Eventually he got lucky though, stumbling across a series of trees that had been unnaturally scraped and bent, along with the occasional tuft of fur clung to a bush or low branch. It was hard to picture what T'charrl had become to cause this, not to mention the footprints he was seeing imbedded in the ground. Inhaling deeply to stave off the dull throbbing in his gut a bit longer Takeshi kept flying ahead, hopeful to find the Prince soon.

"Ruined my plans...? What are you..." Eslaria looked up at her son dishearteningly, frowning for a moment as she mulled over what he said. When it finally dawned on her she smiled sympathetically, shaking her head and once more lifting a hand to rub his cheek.

"Those aren't important now, don't worry about those. All that matters to me is your well being, understand? I only care about you, an getting you home safely. Whatever happens later will happen, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it."'

As she consoled her son she picked up the sound of crunching leaves an branches, her antennae twitching irritably at the noise. Freezing in her spot one of her lower hands immediately went for her belt, and after removing a dagger she put an arm before T'charrl, stepping in front of him to confront whoever was there. When she spun about she was all ready to fight, only to stare angrily at Takeshi when she spotted him standing there with a dumbfounded look on his face. They were in the middle of a rather important discussion and he had to bumble in here, and for what? Sighing softly she lowered her dagger, though she kept an arm out protectively before her son.

"What is it...? I didn't ask for anyone to come with me."

Takeshi smiled apologetically, nodding his head as he reached his free hand out to support himself against a tree. Well she hadn't attacked him, so that wasn't a good thing.

"I know ma'am, and I'm sorry... I just wanted to see if I can be of any help." Looking at the large Kaesstrian behind the Queen he put two and two together, and reflexively his eyebrows rose a bit in surprise. "T'charrl...? Uh... Can I help with anything?"

"We never said you were a child, and we're certainly not implying that you are." Vegeta replied gently, securing the new bandages. "You were only out for about two hours, that's all. But a lot has happened between then and now, and unfortunately I don't know the whole story. But we'll try to fill you in where we can."

Between Yumi and Vegeta they provided all the facts about what had happened as best they could. They knew the General was beaten, the squad had helped T'charrl do it, and now the Prince had run off to the woods for whatever reason. They were careful to avoid anything that involved Viral's own situation, namely the nightmares that he had been having. There was concern between both of them over that, and his quip about their behavior towards him was a fair one. Really they were the closest people that he had when it came to family, so justifiably to them it was normal behavior. For someone unaccustomed to it however it definitely came across as unusual or unnecessary. Nonetheless, they expressed their concern, albeit in a reigned-in manner.

"That's everything we know. Provided that T'charrl comes back soon, and he's healthy," Vegeta continued, pausing as he rubbed at his chin, "I imagine we'll be out of here before the day is over. Then we can find someone to really heal you and the boys up, and we'll be on our way."

Shu couldn’t help but feel that aching worry that things could go wrong at any second, seeing as how things went wrong for him in the space of a few seconds when he had been fighting. It wasn’t his fault, he didn’t mean to have to feel bad in such ways and right now it was a case of being worried for his friend and brother. Letting out a sigh, Shu nodded a little, still trying to move himself and hope that he could at least move his neck just the tiniest of ways, “That’s…true. He just does things too quickly sometimes, not thinking on what he should do too much”, he sighed, smiling a little, “Okay, I won’t. And then…and then you get your parents! It must be nice having parents, I don’t even think Takeshi knows what it’s like to have them. Father’s awfully mean, but…he doesn’t feel like one, I think…”

T’charrl couldn’t think straight as everything buzzed through his mind like a busy city, his body slightly shaking as it all overwhelmed him. He didn’t know what else to ask of his mother as she held onto her, his own fear previously that she would despise him had completely gone as he asked her for her hopefully loving support. Lowering his head slowly as she stroked her head, he rested on her shoulder and nuzzled into her, purring a little as he did. T’charrl wasn’t paying her words too much attention, his reassurance coming from her speaking them rather than what she sounded like when speaking them.

“Renthal…yeah…he’ll know, he’ll know what’s wrong with me…” he mumbled, working around that hopeful thought and trying to make himself feel better. He didn’t even know what was wrong with his other than the random out of control mutations, he didn’t even know whether his anatomy still qualified for analysing or whether he might as well be examined like he was a new species. Looking over her shoulder at one of his arms, he sighed at the sight of it and the orb that rested in it before his hand slowly reached up to the one of his head. They were like nasty growths as if his power had flowed out of his body and had nowhere to go other than to solidify; he feared for what they meant and why there was a soft glow to them, if only a little spark that looked like it was going to go out soon.

His body was well beyond what he had studied while growing up, the only cases of this ever happening had probably never been recorded as the sufferer would probably had been culled the moment it happened. Pulling slowly away from his mother, he frowned deeply as he looked away a little, feeling ashamed over it before his eyes moved to look at her hand, frowning a little before he gave a little nod. He was more concerned about his future now, nevermind a lot later when the General had finally been defeated, “The people at home, how will they ever accept me…”

At the noise of movement somewhere close by T’charrl gasped a little, his antennae twitching before he slowly backed off behind his mother, lowering down just incase it was a scout or a creature coming to kill them. Pressing low to the ground he tried to listen out for the noise, trying to identify it but what he was identifying most was the smells of it. He could smell blood, fairly old by now as far as blood went. He was a little disturbed that blood was the first thing he had managed to pick up, giving his stomach a rub as he was reminded of the horrible craving he had for it before he grew large. Feeling a little frightened still, he gasped when Takeshi showed himself and his mother reacted in a way that almost had her jumping at him. Despite Takeshi being now out in the open and the area flattened by his great weight before, he still tried to hide away and keep out of plain sight.

Looking between his mother and Takeshi, T’charrl frowned before he slowly rose up again, trying to hide behind his mother but his height barely allowed it. He had come out to help too, that was kind of him and judging by his reaction he was the same kind of shocked that the other Saiyans had been, his mind finding it hard to figure out what caused them to accept changes so well compared to how he was handling it all himself.

Frowning, T’charrl looked away for a moment before hearing Takeshi speak to him, asking if he could help. He didn’t know what he could ask for, there wasn’t possibly anything that wouldn’t feel like it was something completely selfish. Going silent for a moment, his eyes searched around before his antennae twitched, his eyes going straight for Takeshi’s stomach wound and remaining there. He was feeling a draw towards him, one that was slightly more difficult to resist. Slowly moving around his mother, he crawled towards Takeshi slowly as if worried about scaring him, a hand reaching over and trying to grab Takeshi’s arm while the other moved to his gut.

As if by instinct that he couldn’t fight, his hand pressed against the wound and immediately the orb on his hand glowed as energy passed out from T’charrl to Takeshi’s wound. It would feel warm rather than searing, but as it passed to Takeshi it would slowly ease it and renew cell growth to allow rapid healing. T’charrl didn’t even know how he was doing that, the draw to Takeshi taking him to the area that needed help most. As T’charrl’s energy ran dry again he slowly pulled his hand away, staring at it for a moment before becoming startled as it began to bulge in pulses, each beat making it larger ever so gradually. Letting out a gasp and pulling it away, he held onto his wrist as it continued to spread, a look of panic on his face as he pressed it into the ground as if trying to hide it away, “Aghh h-help! Yes! Give me some of your energy, please?? Fair trade! You said you could do it before!”

Viral grumbled, watching as Vegeta tightened the bandages before he slowly moved his arms again, frowning a little upon hearing the length of time. That was an awfully long time to be out for him, he would had been fine if it was a nap but this was a full-blown snooze with dreams and all. Letting out a groan, he slowly rubbed his head, “If it’s not relevant then maybe don’t fill me in; I doubt I can handle missing an earthquake and even more right now”.

Viral was definitely feeling fairly lost, but it was hard not to be when his only source of visual communication had been the room and Vegeta and Yumi coming in as well. He wouldn’t mind moving somewhere else if it wouldn’t be too much of a problem, it was awfully hard where he was lying and definitely a touch uncomfortable. Sighing a little, he looked to Vegeta with a fed up expression, still feeling tired after being woken up so suddenly by Yumi when she could had easily left him alone to mentally suffer, “Hmph…T’charrl? That guy with the cream? Tch…” he grumbled, his hand slowly moving to his stomach, “Fine…we can do that, but maybe tell me of whatever plan you have for leaving here and why so suddenly. I don’t even know what happened and now you want to run off like a filthy criminal away from the scene of the crime…”

"Eh... Parents are okay I guess. I mean they only take care of you for so long, then you're on your own." Kabocha explained, acting as though it was common knowledge. "Really though, the instructors that we're trained by more than do the job. So I guess we really don't need our parents. It's more of a 'leave no man behind' kind of thing. We're saving them on principle alone."

The king was definitely not parent material, even by Saiyan standards. While it wasn't regular to remain in their care for so long Kabocha supposed he and the twins all had someone they could go to, worst case scenario. Takeshi an Shu? Well, unless they wanted to end up as an experiment, or worse yet one of their father's little toys of amusement. He was rather curious about how Earth families worked, yet Shu was hardly a proper source for information. While on the Princes' home world he remembered seeing parents with their kids everywhere, which to them was highly unusual. They knew that humans weren't a particularly powerful race, so maybe the adults had to stay with their young longer for their own protection. Whatever the case it was weird.

Eslaria was terribly displeased with Takeshi's presence here, but couldn't well hit him much as she'd like to. He was for some peculiar reason counted among her son's friends, and if she wanted him to stay relaxed then she had to restrain herself for his sake. Not to say that she didn't send a look of daggers in his direction, making it well known that he'd come at a bad time. It was a good thing he was here to help however, she'd need it. How much use he'd be in his injured state, well that was another matter entirely. At the very least he was here as a friend to provide a little emotional support, and that would have to suffice. Looking back at her son the Queen smiled softly, reaching back and placing one of her hands on his own. It was almost amusing, in a small way, that such a large boy was cowering behind his mother. Endearing too, as it told her she was still his protector. As she was going to speak up on T'charrl's behalf she felt him step away from her, confused as she saw him get to his hands and knees to begin crawling towards the Saiyan.

"T'charrl...? What is it? What are you doing?" Eslaria asked, frowning uncertainly.

Takeshi was wondering the same thing as well, his eyes locked onto T'charrl. This was.... New, definitely new. He really didn't know how to react, and was terribly confused as to why the Kaesstrian was so transfixed on him. At first he thought it might be the sword in his hand, maybe something about it had set him off. It almost looked to be the case as his arm was grabbed, and the Saiyan nearly tore it back out of the Prince's grip. A hand settled then on his stomach too, right over the wound which he'd been safeguarding the most. Having someone touching it made him uneasy, and expecting something painful to be done he turned his head away, gritting his teeth. Great, now the kid was going to maim him and he couldn't well fight back. The claw on his stomach began to heat up, and at first Takeshi thought he was going to have a hole blown clean through him. Surprisingly however the energy wasn't malicious in intent, and only served to help him. A funny feeling below drew his attention down to his stomach, his eyes widening in recognition of what was happening. The feeling of his wound being healed was rather unusual, he could actually feel the skin spreading again and mending itself together. It wasn't just on the surface that the healing took place either. His muscles began to heal as well, and damaged tissue beneath that. Indeed, by the time T'charrl had finished the wound had completely disappeared, not leaving any trace of it being there save for some dried blood. He was healed, or at least that wound was.

"Give you... My energy?" Takeshi mumbled, still taken aback by what just happened. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he looked down at T'charrl, biting his lip hesitantly. "Sure... I don't know how much I can spare, but I'll do what I can." Leaning over with considerable ease now the Saiyan placed a hand on the Prince's shoulder, closing his eyes to focus. Ki would race down his arm, gather at his palm and gradually making it glow. With careful attention Takeshi managed to transfer it over, continuing the process until he could feel his own energy dipping dangerously low.

Drawing back his hand he exhaled deeply, stumbling a bit and again catching himself on a tree. There was a touch of sweat on his face now, and his breathing had grown heavier, but really he was just tired. "That do anything?"

"We're not running off like criminals! And it's not like we're leaving right this instant!" Yumi pouted, getting defensive as she placed her hands on her hips. "We just helped these people finish their war, peacefully, we're anything but criminals!"

"Uh... Yumi? He was making a comparison. We're not actually criminals, he knows that..."

Abashed and embarrassed by her small snap Yumi hid her face for a second, cheeks heating to a soft red. When she removed her hands a meek smile lingered on her lips, and she folded her hands once more behind her back, looking at Viral apologetically.

"Right... The plan..." Vegeta continued, running a hand through his hair. "Once T'charrl gets back here, and provided he's healthy enough, we're going to save the squad's family. Takeshi made a promise to help them I guess, and he's making good on it. So once all those people are safe we're going to get off this planet, probably with everyone else on board as well. We're going to go find a proper doctor, someone who can help you, and Shu too I suppose. After that... Well, that's about as far as we've planned," he admitted, smiling faintly, "I don't even know where the doctor is going to be."

Shu stared at Kabocha, feeling pretty familiar with that thought but was still more than willing to try and understand it from a different perspective. Shu’s own adoptive mother didn’t watch over him all the time, but that was all a completely different culture compared to what the Saiyans experienced and seeing as how he was a Saiyan then he might as well find out about it all too, “Oh, soooo…you don’t care about what they do, just that they’re safe?” he asked, feeling a little confused, “Even if that’s the case, it must had been nice while it lasted. I don’t think any of us have had normal families, I mean…Yumi doesn’t like talking about it, Vegeta’s were killed, Mister Viral didn’t have any at all…then you get me and Takeshi…all of it is no fun and confusing. Only T’charrl had normal parents…I think…”

T’charrl didn’t know what drew him to Takeshi’s wound, maybe he could sense the pain coming from it but as a result had drained the energy that he had just received to keep his inner monster contained. He was back to his own struggle again with the lust for energy, but now was a test to see just what caused it. He was probably not going to receive any help, there was probably no records left to help him considering his ability was already seen as a taboo; maybe it was one for a reason and that was because what he was experiencing, he just had to be careful that his appearance didn’t change even further into a bulking mess like the General was.

Just now, however, T’charrl was not having a good time. He had managed to help Takeshi’s wound but with no energy of his own he was slowly being consumed by the power he had just expressed fear over. He managed to hold onto his wrist and keep it down, but as Takeshi continued to contemplate over the passing of energy T’charrl was losing his grip of his wrist as it gradually inflated and the growth began to spread up his arm. He managed to hide it behind his other arms and his fluffy legs as he quickly nodded at Takeshi, not finding it terribly encouraging as his own body began to groan and all he could do was make a groaning noise in response to hide it. He was resisting the urge to bite Takeshi and just suck the energy straight out of him, knowing it was just pure evil to do such a thing considering Takeshi had done nothing wrong to deserve such an action.

Watching as Takeshi moved his hand to the orb on his shoulder, T’charrl closed his eyes hoping it would work before he felt the flow of energy into his body, a feeling of instant relief coming to him as it spread throughout. The orbs on his body lit up somewhat again, all about a halfway glow and enough to last for a long time so long as T’charrl didn’t overdo it. As Takeshi gave up his energy generously, his hand returned to normal and he was finally able to relax his body without trying to stop something that was only going to consume him eventually. Panting as well when Takeshi finished, he slowly moved his hand up and stared at it for a moment, giving a little nod, “Y-Yeah…thank you…”

T’charrl didn’t honestly know whether he could take in their strange energy, but apparently he could and was probably completely safe to say that Kaesstrians could harness such energy when it did absolutely nothing bad to him. Giving Takeshi a little smile before gasping a little, pulling back, “Uhhh…I-I’m sorry! I’ve made you all tired over my greed, I’m sorry…” he spoke quickly before he frowned, turning to his mother, “We should…head back. We have to get Takeshi back to the house…a-and then decide my future. Mother, I have to be brave…just like you say I should be…”

Viral slowly rubbed his face before looking to Yumi curiously, wondering why she was going off her rocker over what he said. It was kind of odd that she would get so defensive over such a comment, there couldn’t had been that much that they got up to while he was unconscious. Giving Vegeta a glance before returning a lazy glance to Yumi, he sighed and slowly leaned his head back to try and relax himself a bit more without having to think about what things she had been up to that would count as criminal.

Looking to Vegeta lazily as he spoke about the plan, his mind not really finding it all that exciting to begin with, he let out a grumble as his paw slowly moved to his chest, giving it a scratch, “Hmph, who says I need a doctor…” he muttered, looking away and closing his eyes, “We’re on the run from the King and the rebels because of their idiot leader and you just want to get some doctor for whatever reason. I’m sick of aimlessly wandering just because of me…hmph, if anything, I just want to beat that rebel leader to a pulp for what he did to me…but I bet that’s not on your little plan, is it…”

"Well... I mean yeah, I just want them to be safe is all. It's not like I need them or anything." Kabocha explained, crossing his arms and shrugging his shoulders. "Saiyans really only stay with their parents until they're no longer considered babies, then if you're strong you're sent off to train to fight. Weaker ones usually get sent to uh... Other things."

Kabocha stopped himself right there, uneasily glancing over at Kai and Choi. They were two products of not being "prime Saiyan children" and as a result were awfully familiar with the process. Granted they had been made into cooks just as their father had, but comparatively that was a life of luxury. Sure you got treated like crap on near a daily basis, and you would nearly half the day, but you lived in the palace. Even the servant's quarters, while not as lavish as royal ones, were still better than most homes. So long as you kept your nose clean and did as you were told you could arguably live a fairly comfortable life. That was from his perspective anyways, he'd always been of the noble caste and never really had to put much effort into anything. Born strong and with prestige he'd had an easy life by every stretch of the imagination. Seeing now how terrible the Saiyans were though and how much better life could be without the king that life seemed a bit less extravagant. For the first time Kabocha found himself wonder, maybe he'd be better off without all of the accolades? Perhaps he'd be happier just being free, like the twins had been arguing all this time. Weird transition, from parents to freedom, but that was how his mind worked.

Giving up what little Ki there was to spare left Takeshi fairly tired, not that he'd complain. T'charrl was right, fair was fair, and he had healed his wound without being asked to. Now being dangerously low on the energy though his body felt heavy in spite of his most grievous wound being healed. At best he had just enough to fly on back to the house and collapse on the floor next to Shu. Looking down at the Kaesstrian he smiled kindly, giving a thumbs up and small nod of his head.

"Heh... No problem T'charrl, glad to help," Takeshi answered back raggedly. "Going home sounds pretty nice right about now..."

Eslaria watched the two boys for a moment, curious about what was being done. Her eyes widened a bit seeing T'charrl mend a wound so effortlessly, entirely lost as to how that was possible. For all their medical advances they had absolutely nothing that could help someone recover that quickly, not by a long shot. It could be a breakthrough in healing, if not for the fact that it looked to have adverse effects on her son. Almost immediately after closing the wound the Prince looked to be on the point of exhaustion begging about some transfer of energy. Again the Queen was lost, only left to watch in wonderment as Takeshi's hand lit up in a yellow hue, remaining that way for a moment before it disappeared. Whatever he had done left him tired now, yet her son seemed to be fine. Whatever the business with this energy was it was well beyond her knowledge, and she could definitely see it being a curiosity if other people found out about it. Even if they got T'charrl back to normal then he'd be a potential target for prying eyes, and she didn't want that for him.

"We don't have to rush into your future just yet, you know..." Eslaria chided gently, walking up and placing a hand on her son's shoulder. Taking pause she leaned down, grabbing up her sword and sliding it back in the sheath carefully. "For now let's worry about helping your friends okay? We don't have to go making any life changing decisions so soon." After everything he had been through today she was perfectly fine with her son taking a few days off, or even weeks. Whatever time he needed to relax was perfectly allowable.

"You've got an injury Viral that could use attention, and we need to find a way to help your condition," Vegeta said, referring to the Beastman's PTSD. "And there's not going to be beating anyone up, not for a while. A few of us are hurt, and we're going to have more people than we know what to do with soon. Frankly I really don't know what we're planning to do next at all. There's so much happening that it's just all kind of up in the air right now..."
