Viral just couldn’t find himself relating to the family aspect to get close to them at all, his mind pretty set on rejecting such claims for his own good. They wouldn’t be around all the time, they would eventually die off and he would be left with a simple memory, that is if he lived for long enough. If he was going to die soon then they would miss him like family if they regarded him as such, so making them hate him was generally the only option he really had. They shouldn’t have to miss him, it was easy enough for Takeshi to forget about him so the others should end up doing so too. He would have no one, but that was the best option for someone like him when he was so unstable both in mind and body. If he could just get up he’d go elsewhere, but as it was now even elevating himself a little would bring on an instant head rush and just cause his collapse.
Looking to Takeshi, he let out a grumble at his words as he slowly shook his head. He couldn’t understand why it mattered so much whether he was happy or not to them, they should concentrate on their own happiness while they still could, “Keep your focus off me, you should focus your thoughts elsewhere…then you won’t be so depressed over something like me”. They would all be a lot happier if they didn’t have to worry about him all day, they just needed to ignore him and they would all be happy. He was pretty sure they were just ‘caring’ about him because they wanted to feel bad about something, their general outlook being close enough to absolute happiness just wasn’t enough for them.
With Takeshi heading off, Viral looked around to give a quick look at him before his eyes were set on the food, feeling a little annoyed that he didn’t take it with him. He didn’t want it and even though the temptation was there, the thought of eating it simply managed to make him feel ill. He wasn’t afraid of it, he wasn’t a lowly coward who couldn’t handle some food; he just didn’t want to have to feel ill. Maybe he was afraid of it, he didn’t know, but even getting close to it just brought back unpleasant flashbacks and littered his mind with all sorts of nasty thoughts that just managed to make him feel dead inside. Slowly moving around, he managed to push the plate away with his foot before turning again and laying down, hoping to try and recover soon so he could walk by himself.
T’charrl nodded furiously before he pulled his hands to his chest, feeling the anticipation catch up with him. With no Kaesstrian ever making it out into space to fight against strong intergalactic warriors, he wondered just how much his strength would grow to compete with these aliens. While his powers did scare him a little, he was fairly confident that they wouldn’t end with him actually becoming his monstrous form but he wasn’t confident that his form would continue to alter. Even as he sat around the colours of his fur changed with his emotional state, something he didn’t have any control over but was definitely new; their colours depended on their lifestyle and how they grew up, not how they were feeling.
Giving a little smile when Vegeta spoke up, he let out a sigh and nodded, lowering his head a little, “Indeed, like mother and father always tell me”, he spoke, looking to his father quickly before back to Vegeta. He would definitely try and hone his healing ability the most, seeing as how it was the most useful to people yet also the most energy sapping of them all. He didn’t like how he had to take away energy from his friends to heal, but maybe as he got stronger he’d be able to hold a lot more energy for himself. His biggest worry was the orbs sticking out of him getting bigger or more abundant, but what he really wanted to investigate was why they were present and why they had grown.
With everyone fishing up and looking generally quite happy, T’charrl smiled happily down at his plate before standing up, giving his stomach a scratch, “Uhhh, t-thank you for the meal. I should go talk to the General with Takeshi”, he spoke, giving a quick nod, moving on out of the kitchen after Kabocha. The twins looked like they had decided to stay put while Kabocha was off to grab a snooze, leaving Takeshi being the only one who would probably want to still talk to the man before he was carted off to prison. His mother was outside still and she should be fine, but whether she would want to stick around for this would be up to her. Looking around to try and see where Takeshi had gone, he opted for sniffing out for him as his antennae moved around, eventually knocking on his door, “Uhh Takeshi, want to interrogate the General now while we can…?”
