Takeshi really needed to learn to speak plainly when around his brother. By no means was he as... He didn't even know the word for it, but fancy talking as Vegeta was, but he knew more than Shu did. Every time they talked it was almost as if he had to explain half of what he'd just said. "If we don't have fruit we'll see if your friends can help you find some. You wanted to visit them anyways, right? I'd bet they wouldn't mind giving you some fruit for the road." Probably a safe guess that the rebels weren't stocked up on fruits, meaning they were going to have to go out of their way to get Shu what he wanted. Not terribly annoying, but a little inconvenient. T'charrl's arrival stopped them in their tracks, and he looked rather happy that the brothers had returned. Leaving him with Leto was most certainly a mistake, it was almost akin to torture doing that to somebody. "Nah, they beat it up pretty good, but it was still alive. All Shu and I did was blow it up though, they did all the hard work," Takeshi explained. He didn't want them being credited for killing the creature, they hardly did anything in that regard. There really wasn't any explanation that could be offered for Leto's behavior. You had to understand something to explain it, and nobody had a clue why the guy acted the way he did. Maybe he was just crazy, it would make sense seeing as he could be happy one moment and crying the next.
Takeshi didn't want to give the wrong impression about Korian and Sayomi. The latter he had no problem with, she hadn't done anything at all wrong and had even helped them. Korian on the other hand had definitely done them wrong, and hadn't done anything really to make amends. While it was nice of the guy to help with their ship the Saiyan was admittedly skeptical about his intentions, and a little cynical as well. "Did they? That's great T'charrl," he replied, turning and starting to walk to the door again. He didn't want his friend or Shu see the frown on his features, he wasn't liking that at all. To him Korian seemed to just be trying to buy good graces with them with all these favors, like he still expected him and Shu to rejoin the war with them. Stopping just at the door Takeshi looked back, forcing a smile as he motioned for the others to follow him. "Shu and I are going to wash up really quick, then we're going to get some food. If you want to come feel free, there's bound to be plenty of showers."
Vegeta just didn't think Yumi had it in her to single-handedly bring down a foe, certainly not one strong enough to topple Viral. She was strong, sure, but by comparison she was a bit behind everyone else. Sure, she could fight stronger enemies, but beating them seemed a bit of a stretch. What had him even more skeptical and confused than that claim was the idea she had been aggressive and angry towards Viral. That immediately drew Vegeta's attention and had him fairly confused. "Yumi was aggressive and angry... With you?" he repeated, frowning a bit. "When have you ever known her to act like that towards you Viral? That doesn't sound like her in the slightest..." She might get flustered, but rarely was she ever legitimately angry. Even with Takeshi she had always just been annoyed more than anything. With Kai, Choi and Kabocha she had been genuinely mad, and for good reason, but that kind of anger was actually exceptionally rare for her. Maybe it hadn't been to that extent, but the idea that she had been cross with Viral over something like "being useless" seemed off. "We'll take a look at your shoulder, I can fix that easily enough for you. Do you know where she went? I feel like I should talk to her too."
