Korian sighed at Sayomi's rebuttal, putting his head in his hand and closing his eyes. Gods help him, she wasn't going to let this go for some time most likely. He didn't want to frighten T'charrl though, and he certainly wasn't looking to further sour their relations with the Princes either. If she could just put aside her research for one minute then there would be no problem, but that was nigh impossible to do. Looking back only when the Kaesstrian spoke out the Commander smiled, giving a nod in reply. "You're fine, and don't mention it, it was a pleasure meeting you," he replied. "I'll send a message along to look for the Queen, we'll handle this as best we can. Take care, we'll be in touch." Nodding again to Leto he watched as the alien was led off, leaving him, Sayomi and a handful of crew left in the bridge. Only once T'charrl was out of earshot did Korian look at his Lieutenant, giving her a look of exasperation. "Could you please not do that to every race we encounter...? It's no wonder a lot of the men call you the mad scientist..." he grumbled, raising a hand again to rub at his face tiredly. "T'charrl will be back, one way or another. Just be patient and you'll get your interview, I promise. For now leave him be, please."
Leto was quite happy to be out of that room, knowing full well what was coming. The look on Korian's face said it all, he was annoyed with Sayomi. It happened fairly often, the two were often at odds in spite of being such close companions in this war. He wondered how they did it, going on and on like that and never trading blows; Saiyans almost always resorted to blows first in his experience. Leading T'charrl back on towards the hangars and out the ship he looked over at his companion thoughtfully, raising an eyebrow as he admired, or perhaps became entranced over the orbs. He hadn't paid terribly much mind to them before, but Sayomi's questions had given rise in turn to some of his own. Feeling quite rude staring he quickly looked back ahead, clearing his throat. "So there's our Commander for you, and his Lieutenant. There isn't a finer pair of people to follow in this universe in spite of what impressions may have been left. They're taking charge for the entire galaxy and fighting the Saiyan empire, I can't think of a manlier endeavor!"
Takeshi hated that they were going to have to resort to just Ki, he did really want to use his sword some more. The only thing what was going to be effective were energy attacks, evident by the few good wounds the creature already bore. While he could potentially do it himself it was a good opportunity for Shu to get in some practice, and being mobile there was little danger of him being struck while trying. There was however plenty of other risks, such as having a blast explode in one's face. When the first one was unsuccessful the older boy took a moment to touch his eyebrows and hair, making sure he still had it all. Relieved he prompted Shu to try again, not wanting his brother to simply give up. This time around the shot fired off successfully, but was erratic in its motions and just barely missed the creature. Takeshi had to reach back with his free hand too just to make sure his sibling didn't go flying off, smiling slightly. "Okay... So this is going to be tricky... Crap..." They really should have practiced more, this wasn't going to go super well. They could keep trying, practice made perfect after all. But wild blasts and self-implosions were hardly going to make this battle easier for them. Diving back away as a rock was thrown their way Takeshi held out his hand, firing off a blast and hitting the creature's shoulder pad, just to keep it at bay. "One last time buddy, you can do it! Just focus and be careful."
Yumi was hardly adept with controlling the ship, or even competent. Rather than be steady the ride was more akin to being a small craft out on the ocean, rocking back and forth. In her defense it was only slight jars, but for the life of her she couldn't figure out how to keep it perfectly steady. Nevertheless she and Viral did manage to get out of the combat zone, albeit as far as they went the noise of the battle was still very much audible. Keeping a grip on her wheel up until they stopped moving she sunk back into her seat, sighing softly and closing her eyes. "It was so hard... I don't know how to fly this thing..." Yumi remarked, shrugging her shoulders tiredly before nuzzling her face into her shoulder to relieve an itch. From now on the others could handle driving, it wasn't really her forte. Resting her head back on the chair again she looked out the window, staring at the canyon before them with little interest. "I hope they finish soon... We really should be getting back..."
