"So you're helping one another? No doubt in a manly pursuit to protect the weak and to navigate the stars!" Leto exclaimed. Releasing T'charrl for a moment he struck a pose, looking at the Kaesstrian sternly. "You are among the ranks of the rebellion now, the manliest assortment ever to travel the universe! We're fighting for freedom, and for the well-being of all of our fellow people! Truly you are a young man of character if you've decided to partake in our conquest for good! I salute you!" And indeed he did salute, crossing one arm over his chest and standing rigid, the other arm folded behind his back. After holding that pose for a moment Leto finally reached out, grabbing T'charrl's arm again and dragging him towards the main rebel ship. "But I digress! The mention of food seems to have stirred something within you, as any true man would be excited at the prospect of a feast! While your friends do what they must let me show you around! There's some people I would like you to meet as well, some very good people!"

"Can do Vegeta, we'll be quick about it." Takeshi replied, smiling as he went to climb into the ship. They could get their friends' location with the scouter, and from there it was a simple matter of getting them on board and flying back. Just as he was climbing into the cockpit Shu felt it was prudent to share some more information on just what Yumi and Vegeta had been up to. Almost feeling the glare piercing through him the older boy paused in his step, looking over his shoulder with a meek smile. Getting grabbed by his shirt and yanked off Takeshi quickly put his hands up defensively, expecting to be hit. "They're fine though, honest!"

"You had them go after a god...? Viral, in his weakened state, and Yumi...?" Vegeta repeated, narrowing his eyes at Takeshi. Getting a nod in reply he let out a lengthy, irate sigh, releasing his friend and pinching the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes. "If it weren't for the fact you're going to be flying I'd probably smack you with a wrench right now. Just... Hurry up and get them back here, will you?"

Takeshi really didn't need any more incentive to get moving, though Vegeta's annoyance was definitely hastening things along. Nodding again the Saiyan climbed into the ship, waiting until Shu had gotten in along with him before sealing the doors. Looking around at the controls it took him a moment to get reacquainted with everything, not having flown in a little while now. There were a ton of things he wasn't going to need, all he had to use were the thrusters and the controls themselves. With Vegeta well clear from things he turned the engines back on, aiming the thrusters downward and slowly lifting them off the ground. Then, taking another moment Takeshi used the scouter to pinpoint Viral and Yumi, locking in on their signal with his own scouter. Easing the stick forward the ship began to fly off in that direction, making a steady pace to their friends. Looking over his shoulder at Shu he frowned a bit, "Hey... How come no one ever hits you when things happen?"

"I guess we really don't know until you try eating..." Yumi remarked, frowning as she rubbed her hands together. "Since you haven't eaten since then I can't really guess. But... Maybe instead of triggering it, food is what you need to feel in control again? Having something in your stomach must help at least a little." She really wished there was a way she could console him over the whole Saiyan eating episode. Admittedly it was awfully unsettling, just because of how violent it must have been to eat someone alive... Or presumably alive. Nevertheless Viral wasn't seen as a monster for it, and certainly wasn't going to be shunned. "If you're worried about blood... What if we find some kind of seafood? I mean it's usually red meats that bleed, so fish should be okay. And... We can cook it enough so it doesn't bleed at all anyways. We can season it too, so you don't taste anything but the seasoning, then you won't even have to think about it!"

T’charrl was confused, he just wanted to talk but after a brief dragging away the man had let go and he was now posing in an odd fashion. Shuffling on his feet nervously, he looked around as he tapped his claws together, “Uhhh, rebellion…? I-I guess you could say that; I just want to help them and travel around and uhhh, other things”, he spoke nervously, feeling a little worried about being near this guy. Looking around a little to try and see if anybody else was staring at this man in the same way, he let out a nervous laugh but was soon snatched at again and dragged onwards once more. Feeling a little confused at first before managing to find balance once more, he stared at the strange alien, “Uhh, o-okay! It is kind for you to give me food, but a feast? Are you sure? It’s not like I’ve done much, uhh…well, this is my first planet since being leaving my own planet…”

Shu still didn’t know what a god was but was happy enough to announce it as if it was a big deal. It certainly was a big deal after seeing Vegeta’s glare upon Takeshi, Shu’s head tilting ever so slightly before his eyes went between Vegeta and Takeshi as he moved slightly more to the side of them both. Pressing his fingers together, he gave them a smile as if to display how hopeful he felt that they were okay before he let out a squeak as Vegeta released Takeshi, bouncing back to Takeshi’s side. Not exactly knowing what a wrench was, he bounced a little before giving a nod, “We’ll be back soon!” Walking on in a little, he looked behind himself as the door was closed before he decided to take a seat as Takeshi got the ship ready. Bouncing a little on the seat, he looked to Takeshi and tilted his head a little, “Huh? I don’t know…uhh, because I’m not angry?” he spoke, looking away again, “People like others who aren’t angry all the time, or maybe they just really like me”.

Yumi was certainly determined and it was definitely making him feel a little pressured, despite her good intentions. Viral wasn’t very good at obeying certain little thoughts like that, he was often pretty stubborn when being told he should try something when he really wasn’t up to it; however, the thought of food just made him ever so slightly more reluctant to be stubborn. Letting out a sigh, he looked down briefly before away again, not entirely sure her reasoning was spot on, “It was at its worse before I stopped eating. I’m not sure what control is anymore”, he spoke calmly, “Who knows what that man did to me to allow my sense of being to fail”. He didn’t know what he was anymore, but Yumi was definitely determined to make him feel normal and compromise with his difficulties. Fish was certainly something he did enjoy eating before everything crashed for him, but he didn’t know if he’d be able to get passed the fleshy texture as his first attempt into getting back into food. Feeling pretty depressed, he looked to Yumi for a second before away again, “…Maybe. I really don’t know how to get passed it all before my body deteriorates because I’m not getting any nutrients anymore”, he spoke, shaking his head a little, “I’m so tired of everything. Have you ever felt that way before?”

Leto was rather quickly retreating from his whole wanting to punch T'charrl faze. Very much still a soldier at heart he couldn't well help that he was prompted to fight who he saw as an enemy, it was basically natural for him. Having attacked a friend of the Princes however was unacceptable, he had to make it up to the alien. A simply apology was not enough, he deserved much more than that for such a transgression. Perhaps a feast, or some tremendous gift, something to bury the hatchet. "Perhaps a feast was a little overzealous..." the Yulian answered, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully. "But surely some food would be acceptable... Hm, yes! I'll get you a nice meal, then we can speak with my comrades! Surely they'll be eager to meet a friend of the Princes!" Together they walked around to the side of the rebel flagship, a large hatch on the side opened up with several small vehicles and groups of workers coming in and out. Leto led the Kaesstrian around everyone, bringing him right on inside. Compared even to the ship the group had just commandeered this craft was much larger. The hangar in of itself held about ten of those small transport vehicles like the one Shu and Takeshi had just taken off in. Needless to say it was the biggest ship in the entire fleet.

"There are quite a few men and women here, no? All working towards one common goal; freeing the universe from the Saiyan oppressors! Have you ever seen such a beautiful gathering of people before?" At this point in time quite a few alien races made up the rebel's fleet. Amongst the few Saiyan deserters there were Uuonian natives, a handful of Narbu soldiers, and a conglomerate of various other species. With all the differences it was certainly something to see everyone wearing the same uniforms, all united under a single agenda. Wiping at his eyes for a moment Leto cleared his throat, smiling at T'charrl. "So many homes disrupted and lives ruined by the Saiyans, so much damage has been done. Everyone here has been effected one way or another, and they've not joined together to put an end to it all. Truly a wondrous thing!"

"Leto? Aren't you supposed to be outside helping the crew?" Approaching the pair were two blue-skinned aliens, each dressed in combat armor. The boy had a messy nest of green hair atop his head, and when stood against Leto seemed fairly diminutive in size by comparison. The girl, who looked much like him, had her hair tied back in a ponytail and was slightly shorter than her male counterpart.

Leto looked over at the two newcomers, smiling cheerfully and putting an arm around T'charrl's shoulders. "I will be, but we've a guest! Ricken, Sasha, allow me to introduce T'charrl. He's a friend of the Princes, a companion of theirs as it turns out. One that I may have nearly punched..."

Sasha looked at T'charrl curiously for a moment, her eyes scanning him up and down curiously. "Pleasure to meet you, T'charrl..." she said politely, bowing her head a bit before looking back at him. "That's an odd name, pardon my saying. I've never seen anyone like you either..."

"We've never seen half of the races here, sister. That doesn't mean he needs any special attention," Ricken interjected, looking at T'charrl before extending a hand out. "All the same however, welcome. Always nice to know we've got more allies in this fight."

Takeshi was a little too eager to get out of there. Every time something went wrong it seemed like he was the one getting hit. Thank goodness he was durable, otherwise he'd probably be in a coma by this point. In spite of not having used such a vehicle in a while he had a fairly easy time of controlling the ship, so long as he avoided the more complex controls. Flying in a straight line was simple enough, but if they had to maneuver then it was going to be an awfully bumpy ride. "And what... They don't like me?" Takeshi asked, frowning as he glanced over at Shu. "And I'm not always angry, you know... So I doubt that's why..." Shu was often the favorite though, and it was something that the older boy had never put much thought into. Frankly he just didn't care enough to bother with it, it didn't matter to him too much. Now that it was on his mind he couldn't well come up with a reason. Looking back at Shu then Takeshi stared for a moment, trying to get what it was. After unsuccessfully coming up with anything he scoffed, looking ahead and leaning back in his seat a bit. "Don't take this the wrong way... But I don't see why everyone adores you. I mean you're awesome and all, but some people treat you like you're perfect. I don't get it." Then again he sort of did the same thing, always giving Shu a nice treatment. Perhaps the little guy just had a way of making people like him.

"We can try fish then, if you'd like! I bet we've got some on the ship somewhere, or we can even look around here. I bet there's a body of water somewhere if we just looked." Not that they were quite in a state to go exploring. It would have to be a little later on, and that was if they remained on this world much longer. Surely if they could get enough fish prepared then Viral would have a little bit, and then perhaps that would in turn lead to eating more. Looking at the Beastman for a moment when he voiced his question Yumi only shrugged, not sure how to reply immediately. "Sure... Plenty of times, I guess," she answered, reaching up and itching at one of her ears. "A lot lately I feel just kind of out of it with everything that's gone on. It's all happening so fast, and I don't know where it'll all end, or how it'll all end. It's exhausting, really." Life had been so incredibly simple before the Saiyans had ever separated their group. Before she had met Shu and Takeshi, or Master Roshi, before their journey together. No, that wasn't right, she didn't regret any of that. Smiling sadly Yumi glanced at Viral, absentmindedly rubbing one of her hands now. "Things are going to get better though, they just have to. I keep telling myself that and it's been enough to keep me going lately," she explained before looking away, frowning slightly. "I just don't know for how much longer it'll work..."

T’charrl did look forward to getting food everytime now, his body desiring a lot of energy nowadays. He didn’t mind it so far, but the hunger he often felt was pretty worrying, especially when he was by himself. He had little concentration by himself, he was definitely a danger if he was left by himself. Being with this man might be the best solution for himself at the moment, even if he was a little crazy and somewhat worrying in how he acted and spoke. Smiling a little if nervously, he gave a quick look behind him as if just trying to remember where he was beforehand so he knew where to go if he had to run for it, “Uhh, thanks! I’ll eat anything, thank you”.

He really had no idea how to be social just now, this guy was definitely not helping with it and how he was dragging him everywhere without giving him much of a chance to stop and see what was going on. Seeing all the different aliens was definitely the oddest and best part of this little tour, a good long stare gazing upon the strange aliens managed to hold for a few moments each time. He had no idea what these aliens were all except the ones with the fluffy tails, but they didn’t have the hairy limbs like Shu had. Staring at them curiously, he gasped a little when he realised Leto was talking, “Ooh huh? Saiyan oppressors?” he repeated, looking back to the aliens, “My world hasn’t been touched by conflict other than our own. I guess my kind are lucky for that reason”.

Letting out a gasp at the sound of a foreign voice, T’charrl turned around to see two strange blue aliens. Staring at them curiously, T’charrl tilted his head slowly with his head snapping to Leto when he touched him. Giving the two aliens a little head bow, he smiled a little as she gave him a bow in return. Feeling a little embarrassed when she questioned his looks, he rubbed his claws together a little before his eyes went to Ricken, staring at his hand for a second before taking a hold of it, “I don’t ask for any special attention, thank you”, he nodded, giving it a quick shake, “I’m a Kaesstrian. Others of my kind haven’t been to space before, so maybe that’s why you’ve not seen someone like me. I can’t even speak to you without using the gadgets you use, uhh…but I will learn, eventually! I swear by it”.

Shu shook his head quickly when Takeshi seemed to be insulted by what he said, not meaning it in a nasty way. Shifting in his seat, he frowned a little before he looked away. He didn’t know how else to word it, but with Takeshi being an adult and can get angry then it would mean people might get a little fed up with his attitude, “Umm, no? They like you, but maybe they care enough to do those sorts of things because you’re strong enough to take them…?” He didn’t know how to explain it without upsetting Takeshi, not too fond of the idea of hurting his feelings. Looking up when Takeshi spoke again, he frowned a little and grabbed hold of his tail, giving it a squeeze, “Uhh, really? I-I mean, that’s nice of them”, he squeaked, shaking his head a little, “Maybe they don’t want to upset me or hurt me incase I…you know, go crazy with all the hair. I don’t mean to! I just be myself”.

Viral let out a sigh, shaking his head, “If I’d like? I don’t think I’d like it at all, but it has to be done”, he spoke, not feeling entirely confident with eating. It was like taking medicine, but then again he didn’t much like the idea of taking the medicine he was due to take once he got to Earth. The medicines would turn him into a mindless zombie for a while, there was no way around it while he was left unsure to how long he would have to take them. It just made him pretty miserable, knowing he had to take drugs to get better. Looking to Yumi for a second, he frowned a little as he held his arm slightly higher, “You’re lucky; you’re still moving”, he spoke, shaking his head, “It all came to a halt for me the moment they captured me”. If only he knew how to get by that obstacle, everything would be so much simpler. He didn’t know how old he was or remembered the last time he wasn’t in pain; time had just come to a complete stop for him. He had little belief in Yumi’s words, even though she meant well and was just trying to be optimistic, “Things are already getting better for you, I’m sure you can see that just by sitting on a foreign planet”, he spoke, staring down into the valley, “You have your whole life to look forward to, maybe you’ll even have a family if you wanted. Just what is wrong in your life that’s not working out for you?”

"Yes, the Saiyans are quite cruel people indeed! At least those that follow Yamate's wicked rule. I too was once a servant of the tyrant, forced into servitude by his overwhelming ferocity, it was for the sake of my own people!" Leto exclaimed, balling his hands into fists and holding them up excitedly. "But then I was given a second chance by the Princes, and by Commander Korian and the beautiful Lieutenant Sayomi! They gave me a new lease on my life, and we're going to save my people from the empire! No longer will my brothers and sisters be forced to battle for anyone else! My people will know true peace once again!" At this point Leto had gotten fairly loud, and as soon as he finished talking a few workers shouted at him to keep his voice down, which he ignored of course. Looking back at T'charrl he smiled cheerfully he gestured for the Kaesstrian to continue along with him, heading right into the hangar. "These people are creating miracles, my young friend. There's nothing we cannot accomplish united." More than just workers were taking notice of his boisterous monologues, as two siblings soon made their way over to silence the Yulian loudmouth.

Ricken really didn't know what to make of this... Kaesstrian. He was a big bug, yet obviously more intelligent than just that. Kind of weird looking too, yet they probably looked strange to him in turn. All a matter of perspective, as after all he found Saiyans to be awfully strange as well. "T'charrl... That's a weird name... Definitely alien," he remarked, taking his hand back and folding his arms over his chest. Staring up at the Kaesstrian for a second he nodded in agreement, definitely thinking the common tongue had to be learned. "I can still hear you talking in... Whatever your language is. Frankly it's annoying to have to listen over it, but not unbearable."

"Seriously Ricken, try to be at least a little polite to him?" Sasha said sharply, glaring over at her twin brother.

"Why? He's not done anything for us. And I'm not going to befriend every single person, that would take much too long." Plus, with their going into battles now people were bound to die. Why befriend someone if they were only going to vanish the following day? Shaking his head Ricken turned to leave, starting to walk off towards the conjoining hall. "Like I said, welcome and all that. Just don't get too comfortable, especially since you're with the Princes. Korian's got a thing for them and their friends, fair warning."

Sasha sighed in annoyance, watching her brother off before glancing back at T'charrl. "Sorry, he's always like that, don't take it personally," she explained, bowing to him again. "Enjoy your stay here, hopefully we'll see you on the battlefield sometime!" Turning then she ran off after her sibling, having a good mind to smack him for being rude to the new alien.

Takeshi couldn't say why he was as bothered with this as he was. Just something about him always being the outlet of people's annoyance where Shu was only praised sort of ate at him. It wasn't a massively big deal, but enough to be a little tick. After speaking out on the matter he immediately regretted it, clamping his mouth shut when his brother seemed upset. Sure it bothered him, but that didn't mean he had to make Shu feel bad about it. Not like any of it was his fault anyways. "I didn't mean that Shu... Sorry..." he said softly, lowering his gaze a bit before sighing. "I just... Wish people liked me as much as they do you. I kinda just feel like I'm... Just along for the ride sometimes. That no one would really care whether or not I was here..." Again it went back to his innate fear of being forgotten or alone. Perhaps those around him, those he called friends only were pleasant with him because Shu was around. Maybe the way Viral treated him was how everyone really felt, and they were just being kind for his brother's sake. Feeling awfully down about that Takeshi sniffled a bit, looking ahead as he flew on towards the mountains. "I guess I'm just a little jealous, that's all."

Yumi felt a bit selfish for expressing problems. As if anything wrong with her could even remotely compare to the strife that Viral was having to endure himself. He was right, she really didn't have a lot that was truly wrong with her life. She could have a family someday if she so chose, and a child. She could love and grow older and watch her kid grow up. She'd have more relatives, and grandchildren, and already did have a family of her own. She was mortal, sure, but there was somewhat a charm to that fact, a charm that eluded Viral. So did the family, something that she knew all too well he desperately yearned for. There was no reason she should be moping, it wasn't fair to her friend. "No... You're right. I shouldn't be upset, things aren't really bad," Yumi said, smiling sadly as she looked at Viral. "Sorry for complaining, you don't need to hear that from me." It wasn't very fair of her to put her burdens on Viral anyways. He had far enough to deal with himself without somebody else coming to him with their own trivial issues. "When we get back I'll mention to Vegeta about getting some fish, we'll just make a tiny bit for you to try."

T’charrl was definitely wondering what had been going on in the universe beyond what he’s ever been told by the others, but there seemed to be a lot of races that were suffering because of one man. It was definitely worrying, but the Saiyan had completely skipped out of wanting his planet was definitely a positive. He knew there had been an alien who arrived on the planet before, but the most they left with was a collection of their language books and that was it; it wasn’t as if they could give them their technology or much in exchange when nothing but their translators worked on his planet, “My people have only just been granted peace, I hope yours are granted it too”, he spoke, giving a nod, “I don’t fight for the freedom of my own people right now, but for the freedom of everyone else”.

T’charrl hoped that it was going okay and that they didn’t see him as too strange or odd, giving the siblings a smile before tilting his head a little at Ricken’s words. They weren’t very friendly sounding, leaning back a little when he removed his hand and stared up at him. Tapping his claws together, he looked down at himself, giving a nervous smile before it dropped a little when his language and manner of speaking annoyed Ricken, “Um, I-I’m sorry”, he muttered, as if trying to not let his own language be heard, “I didn’t mean to be…annoying”. Looking up when Sasha told off her brother, he looked between them before he gently began to groom one of his antennae, brushing his claws through it before he looked elsewhere. He hadn’t been able to do anything for anyone quite yet other than fight off a couple of beasts and even then that wasn’t for these people. He wasn’t wanting to comment on the fact that he was a Prince just incase it was seen as trying to impress desperately, all he could do was watch as the man walked off, tilting his head at his words.

He didn’t understand what that meant or why it was said, but it did make him feel a little hurt and depressed over that. Looking elsewhere, his eyes quickly snapped to the girl again, giving her a little smile in return, “Umm, hopefully. I’m dedicated to becoming a warrior for the cause”, he spoke, letting out a sigh as she ran off. Frowning a little, he looked to Leto and shrugged, “I guess I can’t please everyone, huh?” he spoke, tilting his head soon after, “You don’t find my voice annoying, do you? You don’t need to lie to me, I appreciate honesty…”

Shu didn’t mean to make Takeshi upset, he was just being who he always was and now he was just feeling uncomfortable for saying something that Takeshi obviously didn’t appreciate. Pulling his feet up onto the chair, he clung onto the edge with his toes and pressed his fingers together, giving Takeshi a quick look when he apologised. He hoped he didn’t upset him too much, it wasn’t fair to do such a thing when he was just being himself, “I-It’s okay”, he squeaked, speaking lowly, “They like you, just…they know you can take a hit better than me, is all”. Rolling over a little in the chair, he watched the world pass by outside, pulling his tail closer, “I would feel lonely if you weren’t there with me. I like the others and all, just…they don’t hang out with me as much as you do, or play with me, or talk to me much”.

Viral wouldn’t mind laying down about now, just if his body would allow it. His arm would probably pop out again if he did such a thing without the proper support, even if Yumi had managed to pop it back in; the truth just was plain and simple when it came down to it, that his muscles had been torn and stretched, leaving his arm loose and his paw almost completely without feeling. Once he got back and got a sling with Vegeta repairing his muscles he’d be okay, but as of right now he was unable to heal properly. Looking to Yumi a little when she spoke, narrowed his gaze slightly, “You can talk to the others but me and Shu about your problems. I’m surprised that kid’s holding it together so well”, he spoke, looking away, “I just don’t think it’s wise to place more worries upon my shoulders quite just now”. He would had been better at taking other people’s concerns if he was able to keep his own in check and stop them from sending him to madness, he was already so close to that as it was. Sighing at the mention of the fish, the sickly feeling coming back momentarily, “…Maybe. If I don’t eat it, you eat it”, he spoke, giving her a quick glance, “I’m sure you would be hungry after that fight”.

Leto kept quiet while Sasha and Ricken had their little chat, not wanting to get in the middle of those siblings. He might be a higher rank than them, but as far as battle went they were more seasoned. He was only given his position for his willingness to do battle, and his actually remarkable ability to lead others into the fray. As far as combat prowess went they each had at least a year or more of combat than he did under their belts. Not that he'd ever say it aloud, but frankly he was just the slightest bit intimidated. Waiting until they left the Yulian breathed a sigh of relief, almost thinking for a second Ricken might do something to instigate a fight. Surprised when T'charrl asked him about his voice Leto immediately shook his head, turning to face the Kaesstrian with a very serious expression. "Of course not, my young friend! Sure it is different, but that is the beauty of it! Many people here sound different, and that is what makes it such a unique, exciting place! Not at all like the king's military where everyone must speak the common tongue." The rebellion by comparison was almost like a day care in its rules and mannerisms, and Leto loved it. Smiling reassuringly he flashed a thumbs up, putting his other hand on his hip. "You are fine T'charrl, I swear it! Now, how about I take you to meet the commander?"

"I don't really like talking about them though... I don't want to feel like a burden..." Yumi admitted, rubbing her arm. Viral was right in a way though, he and Shu weren't exactly the ones most people would go to for help. It wasn't that they didn't care, she reflected, just neither of them were terribly insightful on some topics. And that was by no fault of their own, she certainly didn't blame them for not knowing. Looking up at Viral when he brought up food Yumi's stomach betrayed her by growling, glancing down and scowling at it before sighing softly. "I could go for some food, sure. But please promise me you'll at least try? Even just a tiny bit, just to see if you can have fish. Because even if you only eat fish it's better than nothing." Plus, once he got eating again then maybe he'd begin to warm up to other things as well. That was the hope anyways, first they had to get over the hurdle of actually getting Viral to touch food again.

Takeshi just sort of shrugged his shoulders, not terribly reassured by Shu's reply. Sure, he might be able to take a smack or some words fairly well, but that didn't mean it didn't effect him at all. When he was trying to appease his friends or be helpful it often had a habit of not working out, and that alone in of itself was a downer. To have them remark about it too as they often did only served to further disappoint him. Lamenting about his issues was going to wait though, he didn't want to mope in front of his brother. Hearing Shu talk about them instantly lightened his mood a little bit anyways, and with a small smile the Saiyan reached over, giving the younger boy's hair an affectionate ruffle. "Hey... The others would play with you too if they weren't so busy," Takeshi reassured, placing both his hands back on the controls. "Plus, saying I spend more time with you and play more isn't fair to them. You're my little brother, so of course we're going to do things together. That's how families work, isn't it?" Chuckling he reached over once more, this time giving Shu a playful poke in the side. "We do things together because it's fun too, right?"

T’charrl was a little put off, but he was willing to keep going on and seeing what else there was to this gathering of people. He wanted to understand how people on the outside world functioned and this was just probably a bad start with mixed results. Letting out a sigh, he gave Leto a quick look before his eyes wandered away as he spoke to him. He really did feel a little self-conscious about his voice now, seeing as how it was very much important to making an impression on people. If the guy was simply saying all this to make him feel better about himself, then all T’charrl was going to feel was paranoia to whether people actually found it annoying. Rubbing his throat for a moment, he looked back to him, letting out a sigh, “If you say so. You seem to enjoy everything”, he sighed, looking around, “Where is the Commander? Do I need to know anything beforehand…?”

Viral gave her a quick look before shaking his head, “Are you sure that’s the case or are you simply making an excuse?” he spoke, not finding that at all convincing, “You said you already spoke to Vegeta about it, so why do you feel the need to say that when you openly talked about it already?” He felt like he was being deceived, even if it was Yumi doing the deceiving. She already told him she talked to Vegeta about it all and saying all that made it sound as if she never did that at all. It wouldn’t be the first lie he would have to hear about and this was getting a little too personal for him now. Letting out a grumble at the mention of the food, he gave her a suspicious look before looking away, “It’s still a ‘maybe’. I don’t know if I can do it and I can’t promise I will be able to do it, so don’t expect much from me if you are expecting me to try food again. It is hard to say whether my body won’t reject it when I’ve been off it for so long”.

Shu felt a little sad, knowing his brother was less than convinced that he wanted to be with him. If Takeshi got bored with him and decided to go elsewhere then Shu would just be left behind, he wouldn’t have family with him anymore. Giving his tail a couple of pettings, he looked back to Takeshi when he ruffled up his hair, only frowning at his response, “They’ll always be busy, and I do want to play with family”, he mumbled, squeezing his tail a little before letting out a squeak when he was poked, giving Takeshi a quick look. Not quite sure how to take it, he tilted his head a little while giving his side a rub, “Uh huh, I do like having fun…umm, you have fun too, right?”

"A man should enjoy everything in life after all. One doesn't truly live unless they get to savor everything around them." Well, almost everything. Service under Yamate had been anything but savory, and Leto would just as soon forget all of it. Leading T'charrl along into the halls he rubbed at his chin thoughtfully, wondering if anything had to be shared beforehand. "Well... I only know the man so well, so I can't say if there's any real sensitive subjects with him. I'm sure he'll introduce himself, so don't worry about his name. And... Just be yourself! He isn't the kind to scrutinize without good cause, so he won't be judging you. Just relax and be friendly, that's all." The Commander wasn't infallible of course, everyone knew of the fallout between him and the Princes. Plus there had been some decisions both in his past and recently that weren't completely favored, but overall the troops respected him and gladly followed. Given the choice between Korian and Yamate he would gladly pick the former any day, even on the Commander's worst of days.

The pair moved along fairly quickly, not running into many people as everyone was outside busy with work. Only a few officers and the Commander himself were still in the depths of the ship, so Leto had little trouble bringing T'charrl in. Soon enough they had reached the bridge, and the door was wide open, giving them easy access to the room. Unlike the bridge on the Princes' ship which was near a perfect circle with only a raised Captain's chair in the center this room was more oblong shaped. Monitors and panels lined the walls, even stretching beneath the large window panes that made up the front. A few smaller consoles dotted the room as well, and towards the back in the center was the Captain's chair, raised up slightly with its own console just off to the side. Korian wasn't at his seat, but rather down by the front, pouring over a monitor with a few other rebels. Leto flashed T'charrl a smile before walking forward, waving in the Commander's direction. "Korian, sir? I've a guest I'd like to introduce you to!"

Korian scrutinized every inch of the map carefully, trying to best plan their course to the next planet. They were traveling deeper and deeper into Saiyan space, gradually freeing worlds one by one. Sure enough he was confident that this world was to follow suit and be freed, yet it was going to be a challenge. They were into the bulk of Saiyan space now, and as such there was no doubt going to be heavier resistance and defenses in place. The best bet was to find a means to sneak up on the world, and to do so they would likely end up taking a long route around to bypass any potential ships guarding it. A lengthy process, but avoiding an engagement was definitely going to be helpful. Hearing Leto's voice ring out abruptly the Saiyan nearly knocked his head on the screen in surprise, sighing before turning around. "Leto? Finished outside then are we?" he asked, walking forward to meet his Captain.

"Er... Not quite sir! But I've come to introduce you to a friend of the Princes, if it's alright!" Leto explained, stepping aside with a smile. "I'll get right back to work as soon as we're done here, I promise!"

Korian nodded his head a bit, looking to the aforementioned guest curiously. His eyebrows raised a bit upon seeing who, or rather what it was. A Kaesstrian, something he hadn't seen in quite some time. Well this was certainly a surprise, he'd not expected to see one of their kind, definitely not so far from Kaesstra. This one was traveling with the Princes no less, so now at least he knew where they had been. "Huh... A Kaesstrian... Interesting..." he remarked, smiling politely as he offered his hand out to T'charrl. "Pleasure to meet you, it's been quite some time since I spoke with one of your people. My name is Korian, and welcome aboard my ship."

Takeshi really felt like he was upsetting Shu now, and it was an awfully crummy feeling to have. Just watching him wring his tail, a habit that he knew meant Shu was upset, made him fidget uncomfortably in his seat. Finally having to do something to make his brother feel better the older boy switched on the auto-pilot for a second, getting up and moving to Shu's side. Setting an arm around his sibling's shoulders he gave him a hug, playfully poking his nose as well. "Of course I have fun with you buddy, I always do. Do you really think I'd always want to do stuff with you if I didn't enjoy myself?" It was a shame they really did not get to play with one another as often as either of them would like. It wasn't quite fair in a way, they were both kids and only really just getting to know their siblings, and yet they'd hardly an opportunity to just be kids. It just felt like they were comrades sometimes and nothing else, which could be fairly depressing. Letting go of Shu he moved back to his chair, flipping off the auto-pilot to re-assume control. Up ahead he could see the mountains closing in fast, and his scouter was pointing out Yumi and Viral's location, they'd be there in seconds. "You're my little brother Shu, I'm always going to have fun with you. How about we play when we get everyone back, just the two of us?"

"I don't know... I guess I don't want to be telling everyone... It feels like I'm digging for sympathy..." Yumi replied, averting her gaze for a moment. "Everyone's been through so much, and worse than what I went through. It doesn't seem fair for me to be sad or complain then." Really she had emerged from the entire matter relatively unscathed. Sure, there was most definitely some trauma, but with time it would go away, especially in the presence of her friends and family. Some things had been done though, to both Viral and Shu that were bound to last for months, or years even. She couldn't say what had been done to Takeshi, but she figured he'd had some difficulties too. Yumi nodded her head when Viral expressed his feelings about food. It was perfectly reasonable that he may not be able to eat, as much as they may hope he did. Realistically it was not something that could be forced, and that fact was rather hard for them to accept. Everyone was certain that he would come around eventually, but the worry was whether it would be too late or not. Yumi picked up on a faint noise then, her ear twitching as it tried to center in on the distant sound. Turning her head in the direction she squinted slightly, barely making out the shape of something metallic flying towards them. At first she couldn't make it out, and then she saw both the craft and picked up on the Ki energies. Smiling widely she got up to her feet, waving down the ship as it was approaching. "It's the boys, Viral! Our ride is here!"

T’charrl nodded, finding it hard to resist that thought process. His whole point on exploring the outer reaches of space was to see what it had to offer beyond his own planet, giving everything a good analysis and learning to control his abilities. Control was his first concern, he needed to get that down before he could do anything else. Following on after Leto with his eyes to the interesting people passing by and walking around, he looked back to Leto and gave him a little nod, “Okay, uhh…be myself? Be myself…okay”, he muttered, trying to think it through. If this guy was like other Commanders, he’d want to speak formally to him and introduce himself like an equal with military training. T’charrl was nothing like a Commander, he didn’t have enough discipline to be as such with his constant wandering off on scouting missions by himself without his mother’s or father’s permission.

Moving after Leto all the while going over what he might say to the man, he gasped a little as the doors opened wide and the bridge was revealed. He had never seen so much technology in the space of one day and this was just impressive looking yet a little intimidating knowing that there was the possibility of violence just from a few button presses in this place. Staring at the row of computers, he quickly stopped and faced forward at the sight of Korian. Staring at the man, he kept his hands to his sides and looked between them both, giving a little nervous smile. The man certainly looked powerful, he might be the type to demand a lot of respect from the others despite Leto saying to be himself. Looking down at himself when he took interest in his species, he glanced to his hand before taking hold of it, giving it a shake, “Thank you…uhh, I am Prince T’charrl. You’ve been to my planet recently? Why?”

Shu didn’t want to feel like he was doing nothing for Takeshi, thinking he was at least happy that he was with him and that he liked him. He didn’t know why it was a contest to how many people you can get to like you, Shu wouldn’t even mind it if he was outcasted and only Takeshi liked him; it wasn’t as if he had friends when he was growing up, after all, and played with a few anyway. Squeaking a little as he wiped his nose, he hiccupped as he was suddenly hugged by his brother, looking to him curiously. Staring at him as he spoke, he smiled a little and cuddled up in the hug, “I guess not”. As Takeshi let go of him he looked back out the window, just trying to see if he could see the others before his attention turned back to Takeshi, giving a little smile, “Okay! I’d like that! I’d like to play and eat and play”, he spoke, scooting up in his seat a little more, “I’m happy you want to do that, we didn’t get to play much on friend T’charrl’s planet…”

Viral let out a groan at her words, finding them a little annoying considering she already had someone to talk to and that was Vegeta; then again, she was with that young Saiyan too so that was even another one she could talk to, “It’s fine to be sad over a stubbed toe, but you already have others who can handle it better than me”, he spoke, looking away, “What would you want to talk to me about it when I can’t even handle my own problems?” It was a little annoying that he couldn’t even speak about his own problems without being brutally forced to, yet Yumi had no problem with it. He had a lot to think about and a lot of it was constantly running through his head so it wouldn’t be wise to pack in more into his already damaged mind. Keeping his focus elsewhere, at the mention of the others arriving he soon snapped out of it, only managing to turn slightly before finding himself in pain, “Aghh damnit…that took them long enough”, he sighed, looking to the ground for a moment before mumbling, “…I can’t get up…”

A Kaesstrian... Not what Korian had expected to see today. This one looked different as well, more muscled and larger in size than even the biggest of their kind. Perhaps they did get this big and he just hadn't seen them, his stay had been awfully brief before after all. Introductions aside the Commander smiled politely at his guest, placing a hand on his chest and bowing his head politely. "A Prince, it seems there's a great many of those running around these days. Coincidence I wonder?" he mused, lowering his arm back to his side. "Ah... Yes, I suppose I ought to explain that. No doubt you're aware that a detachment of Saiyans had visited your planet before to gather information. It was a while ago of course, but you seem old enough to know of it anyways. I was the one in charge of taking those soldiers down and gathering the intelligence. I must say, if Kaesstra is half as beautiful as it was back then I would very much like to visit again someday." A world untouched by the ravages of war, as he recalled. A relatively advanced race all to its own, thriving in what could be described as a utopia by some. Of course, Korian had no clue about current events, otherwise he'd not think that way.

"To see one of your kind out here, I've got to say I'm surprised. As I remember your people don't have space travel, so it only makes sense then you'd be with Shu and Takeshi's group." Korian almost wanted to ask about the Princes and perhaps request an audience, but it still seemed a bit sudden after how things had deteriorated before. "Follow me, if you don't mind. I'd like to show you something." The Saiyan went back over to the monitors, standing to the side so that T'charrl might see the screen on display. What he would see was a massive display, several objects floating about in the vastness of the black background; a map of the local space. Some worlds were blue, and others red, and several blue and red markers dotted the areas around them. "How much do you know of our war with the Saiyans? Have the Princes told you anything of it?"

Shu seemed rather happy at the promise of play and food, and why wouldn't he be? It was such a rarity that they could do anything fun anymore that each time the opportunity arose it was like Christmas for the little Saiyan. Takeshi was admittedly pretty excited about it too, he did enjoy just playing around now and again. Were they not out here on business then he'd let the ship fly itself and play with his brother then and there, but they had work to do. With the scouter beginning to ping quickly that told him they were closing in on their friends. Soaring over the peak of a mountain Takeshi spotted Yumi and Viral just down below and off to their right, the former flagging them down by waving her arms. Smiling happily at successfully finding them he eased the ship to a halt, adjusting the thrusters to descend and drift towards the cliff. There was just enough land for them to set down on next to their friends, and once the craft settled Takeshi opened up the doors. Leaving the ship running he undid his strap, going out of the control room and to the side door where their friends were. "Hey guys!"

Yumi felt rather happy that their ride was here. The sooner they got back the sooner Viral would be seen to, and the better chance he might actually eat. She worried the longer they put it off the less likely he was going to give it a shot, so the sooner they got moving the better. Watching the ship descend she stepped back a ways, looking down at Viral when he spoke up. Since it would be hard to speak over the engines anyways she wordlessly leaned over, gently placing her hands on her friend's sides and helping him up to his feet with some considerable effort. Yumi's own body still felt awfully ragged, so even a normally trivial task like lifting someone up was tough. "They got here as soon as they could, we should be glad they did come at all," she pointed out, easing an arm around Viral's waist to help support him. Looking at the door when Takeshi emerged then she smiled a bit, giving him a partial wave. "Hey yourself. Are you the only one that came out here?" she asked, a bit worried the answer might me yes.

"Nah, Shu's right here," Takeshi answered, gesturing to his brother. Seeing how worn down Viral and Yumi looked he stepped down out of their ship, walking over to the pair and offering out his hands to help. "Vegeta already knows you two are coming, so I'd guess he's getting things set up. Uh... Need help getting in?" he asked, looking more to Viral in particular. Seeing the Beastman's arm just sort of hanging limply the Saiyan frowned a bit, wondering how that had happened. There was of course the gash on his head as well, definitely worrisome too. While Yumi showed no obvious injuries save for some scrapes she looked like she was in pain just standing there. "We didn't really bring anything for you to relax on... But there is the hammocks in the back. Better than nothing, yeah?"

T’charrl was sure he was in the presence of a great warrior and felt that the utmost respect must be given to this man, knowing to approach him on a political stance. He did have that worry whether the man also found his voice to be annoying, the comment earlier left him feeling a little bit more than paranoid about it. Giving a little nod, he smiled as Korian explained everything to him and how he was familiar with his kind, but he definitely couldn’t help but feel curious over it, “You did? I hate to ask, but...why were you sent there? What information was it that you were looking for from us?” he asked, but soon backed off a little, “I’m thankful you enjoyed being there, but instead of before it will be my mother you would see first upon arriving there. We had a…change of office, I guess”.

T’charrl thought it would be irrelevant that they took down a tyrant on his planet, these guys seemed to have a lot worse problems compared. Giving a little nod at the conclusion Korian came to, he gave a smile, “Yeah, but in the end I have no idea if we’d ever achieve space travel presently. We only have one man working on the project and he only started once my mother took over”, he spoke, looking down a little bit, “Shu and Takeshi have allowed me to come because of reasons that are a little personal. I have power they require and I’m happy to give it to them to help them through this mission”. Watching as he moved to the monitors, he followed on behind and peered over, staring into the strange technology and the graphics it used, he tilted his head a little before quickly looking back to Korian, standing back up straight, “Uhhh well, they haven’t said much, but they’re evil, so I’m told”, he spoke, frowning a little, “The Saiyans are enslaving planets, right? They’re apparently powerful, but if Saiyans visited my planet with you, what does that mean for my people?”

Viral felt a little embarrassed with being unable to get up, his arm having to hold his useless one meant he wouldn’t be able to move without putting a lot of strength into his legs, strength he just didn’t have right now. Keeping quiet as he was picked up and placed on his feet, he gave her a look momentarily before he let out a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment to try and help his focus, “As if they’d leave you behind in this place”, he spoke, soon opening his eyes to look down at her hand as she supported him, “I can name three who would be upset with that”. Looking up at the door as it opened up, he stared at Takeshi as he spoke, approaching them and holding out his hands. He didn’t see why he would want to take his help, it was Yumi who needed it seeing as how her energy levels were pretty low and Takeshi was already annoying him as it was, “Help Yumi, I can get myself in…”

Korian figured it was only fair he divulge the reason for his going to Kaesstra. After all it was this kid's home, and it wasn't as though he was protecting secrets anymore, certainly not for the king. "Before the Saiyans ransack a world they look into it. There is actually a methodology to their madness, believe it or not. We would assess the wealth or people of a given planet and determine whether or not they could be of use. If not we typically left the world as it was. Those unfortunate races who were deemed helpful in some way... Well I'm sure you've been told what happens to them. We came to your world and found nothing of use. However, because we didn't recognize your language we took texts to decipher it, and program them into our scouters." Smiling Korian tapped his own scouter, "It's why we can speak now as we are." He wondered why T'charrl, if the prince of his people, wasn't aware of this. He did mention his mother coming to power, but even then it hadn't been all that long ago, so surely she'd have known what happened. Ah wells, nothing to get all fussed over. If they decided to keep the Saiyan's visit a secret then so be it, probably just as well.

"So they've asked you along for your power? Interesting." That was at least one of the reasons anyways. Everyone had their own agenda for what they had done, and who was he to pry into others business. The Princes, no matter what terms they may be on currently, were on their side for certain. Anyone allied with them was okay as far as the rebels were concerned. Even Viral, who had caused quite the upstart back on Narbu, was by no means viewed as hostilely as before. "Yes, the Saiyans have been enslaving worlds. As of late though that's come to a crawl, thanks in part to our efforts. Other attacks seem to be sprouting up as well, their borders are gradually shrinking. It's only a matter of time until a truly decisive battle arises." Being the Saiyan he was of course the Commander couldn't help but feel excited at the prospect. The climax of a great struggle, an all out battle between the universe's strongest agents of war. He was confident they would triumph too, with momentum on their side lately. Looking back at T'charrl he smiled kindly, folding his hands behind his back. "Your people are safe, I assure you. Even if Yamate had some interest now your world is behind our lines, and we've ships in the vicinity. Would anyone attack your world you'd have a small group of seasoned soldiers coming to your aid instantly. Your worlds among many others can now enjoy peace as they deserve."

Yumi didn't really think anyone would leave her behind here, or Viral either for that matter. She was just happy they had gotten here as quickly as they had, both she and the Beastman beside her desperately needed to rest. Watching as Takeshi came out to help them she almost handed Viral off, instead stopping when he refused the aid. Not that it surprised her terribly, albeit she did wonder what the look was for Takeshi. Biting her lip hesitantly she decided to give her friend what he wanted, easing her arm off of him and leaving him to his own devices. Taking the Saiyan's hand she stepped up into the ship, instantly going to the nearest object she could find and sitting her tired frame down on it. Exhaling happily at being off of her feet she leaned up against the wall, finding the dull rumbling soothing on her tired muscles. Turning her head slightly Yumi smiled in Shu's direction at seeing him, giving him a small wave. "Hello Shu... Did you come to help us get home too?" she asked wearily.

Takeshi made sure that Yumi got inside perfectly fine, still wondering just why she was so completely exhausted. Once she had disappeared into the ship he turned his focus back unto Viral, looking at him and debating silently for a moment. He really should ask sooner than later, even if the Beastman didn't seem in a very good mood at the present. Exhaling softly he stepped forward, looking straight at Viral for a second. Then, with a small flush across his cheeks he placed his hands together in a polite gesture, bowing his head and closing his eyes. "Viral, I'd like for you to teach me swordsmanship.... If you would!" he said, a bit loudly and awkwardly at that. "I tried using it and I was terrible, I'll admit it. I need training, and you're very good with your weapon and all..." Takeshi lifted his head up, smiling sheepishly and keeping his hands folded together. "So... Please? And I don't mean right this instant obviously, just whenever you're-" The boy's pleading was abruptly cut short at a loud rumbling sound, the echoes of rocks rumbling downhill reverberating all around them. As the ground began to shake as well Takeshi looked around utterly confused, wondering if there might be an earthquake or something. When a loud, furious roar erupted in tandem with the rumbling however it was very obvious it wasn't just a tremor.

Looking back at the ship for a moment then Viral for another Takeshi opted to see just what in the world was going on. Running over to the front of the ship he looked out across the canyon, his eyes widening when he spotted a massive green figure rising up from a heap of rubble. From where they were he could see it was quite beaten and bloodied, but very much alive, and angry. Boulders were tossed every which way as it freed itself, a few slamming into rock faces precariously close to where they were landed. This must be the thing that Yumi and Viral had been fighting. They'd done one hell of a number on it, yet it was still alive and very much looking ready to fight. With the state that their friends were in there wasn't a chance in hell they could finish the battle. Biting his lip in a debate Takeshi turned to the ship, slamming his fist on the cockpit to hopefully get Shu's attention. "Shu! We've got some fighting to do!" he called, reaching over his shoulder and retrieving his sword. No big deal, they had to kill a really pissed off giant, how hard could that be?

T’charrl was certainly concerned over what might had been the fate of his planet if the Saiyans wanted, seeing as how his planet was probably rich in resources and even had its own unique energy signature. Frowning a little at the explanation, he lowered his head a little before letting out a little gasp in sudden realisation, “They didn’t find anything interesting on my planet? But…my planet’s beautiful”, he spoke, oddly bummed that they didn’t find anything of interest. It just made his planet feel lesser than many others, his people were strong as well so them finding nothing of interest made him a little concerned that his planet was boring compared to other warriors, “I knew they took records of our language, but we were never told why they came or where things were going to go from there for us…whether they’d ever return or not; of course, until recently, Shu, Yumi, Takeshi and the others came to the planet”.

While that moment of feeling a little confused over that, he looked back to Korian when he spoke and giving a brief nod. It wasn’t only for his power, he had other reasons for going along with them but they were pretty classified, even to the others for as long as he could hold out. If he ever had any problems concerning his power, he’d go to them as soon as anything happened. Listening to Korian speak of the Saiyans again, he frowned and looked down at the map curiously, trying to get an idea of what it all meant without forcing an understanding of the language used quite yet, “So you’re the resistance for all these planets? I can barely imagine such scale”, he spoke, staring at the map, “We had been living in the quiet of space for so long, it seemed, and we came so close to becoming a part of this war. I guess I should be glad my planet had to live with its own conflicts without worrying about the very depths of space”.

While T’charrl was very grateful about being spared the greater war, his own planet had only just learned what it meant to be completely free to live as they pleased and needed time to recover from the greater problems they had to face now. Still feeling guilty about causing a tree to sprout in the main city back home, he scratched his cheek before giving Korian a little smile after reassurance was given, “I hope that never happens, but thank you. My people are swift and able to manoeuvre around a Saiyan with little problem; Takeshi can attest to that”. While he was happy to talk to Korian, his antennae twitched just as something made him feel a little uneasy before he turned around, getting a little fright. A little Saiyan woman seemed to had been giving him a scan behind his back, his eyes going to the strange device in her hands before she looked up in return. It was the woman from the odd portal back on the ship, that much he gathered. Staring at her curiously, she instead stared back before moving around again, tilting his head a little, “Umm…h-hello”.

Sayomi had been waiting for the Kaesstrian to get somewhat close to her and upon hearing that he had come on board she had of course used this chance to try and catch him and try to get some data on him. When Korian landed on their planet, a proper check on their species wasn’t given seeing as how it wasn’t important at the time and seeing how this one was different from the others she had to investigate. Looking into her computer, she backed off a moment before holding out her hand, “I’m Lieutenant Sayomi. I hope you don’t mind me studying you for a few minutes”, she spoke, withdrawing it after a quick shake to press a few buttons on the screen, “You are certainly different, there’s a lot of energy in those growths of yours. Are those implants or part of your biology?”

Viral really needed and wanted to do this all himself, just so he didn’t feel completely helpless. He could get himself into the ship if he tried hard enough, he was just dizzy, sore and a little weak but not completely helpless. Looking to Yumi as she stepped away from him and took Takeshi’s hand, he turned slightly before he slowly pushed himself up, putting in a lot of strength into his legs to push his body up into the ship. Almost falling back out of it again, he let out a sigh once he regained his balance before slowly wandering over to a chair, preferring to sit down rather than lay down. If he lay down he would never get up again and that would be too much of an inconvenience.

Keeping quiet as Yumi decided to speak to Shu instead, Viral was more occupied with his own thoughts up until Takeshi spoke to him, giving him a bow of disgrace. He figured as much, he would find it difficult to use his sword with that kind of attitude. Staring at him as he spoke, he let out a huff and adjusted his arm slightly, “So you did try to use it, huh? And it took you that long to realise it wouldn’t yield to your will?” he spoke, narrowing his gaze slightly. The fact that he was here trying to beg for lessons was definitely interesting, he needed to consider such a thing considering Takeshi wasn’t the easiest guy to get along with. Staring at him, he sat up a little before his eyes went to the ground, the earth shaking with the sound of a powerful roar. Looking to the door he let out a growl, narrowing his gaze, “It’s still alive?? How…”

Shu was happy to see Yumi and was fair willing to bounce around her once she came on the ship, feeling fair bubbly with his head recovering pretty well, “Friend Yumi, hi”, he smiled, scooting close to her at where she stood, “I wanted to help! I did, I wanted to help and I’m helping, I think. I don’t know if I did much, but I feel happy to be here”. He hadn’t really done much helping there, but then again he couldn’t when Takeshi helped Yumi on board and Viral didn’t want any help. Smiling at her a little, he got a fright at the sound of the loud roar only to quickly turn to Takeshi as he bashed at the ship’s insides. Staring at him before smiling, he bounced on over to the door pretty happily, “Okay! Where is it? Where? How do I fight? I’m okay to fight?”

Korian couldn't offer anything else as to why they had gone to Kaesstra. Labor was the only thing they possibly could have gained, but seeing the frail frames of the natives it was doubtful they would have been of any use. Of course, seeing T'charrl now it was pretty evident they had been wrong in that regard. The only reason they had even bothered with taking documents to decode the language was simply to have something to show for the trip, seeing as nothing else was worthwhile. "It was a very beautiful world. But... It's impossible to take beauty like that, unless we took the planet, I suppose..." the Commander mused, shaking his head. "Which obviously we did not. Don't take it the wrong way that we didn't deem you worthwhile either. Your technology was intriguing, but behind what we have. And if not for your technology or labor there was no need for you. Seeing you now however... I believe the king made a grievous mistake in overlooking your people." Perhaps, a mistake that would ultimately turn into an advantage for the rebels down the line. That bridge would be crossed at some point no doubt, and he intended to make it work in their favor.

Their conversation ended with the interruption on Sayomi's behalf. Korian might have told her to leave them be if he weren't so confused as to what it was she was up to. Seeing her scrutinizing T'charrl the Saiyan had to smile a little, amused at her curiosity. Poor kid, now he was under the ever intruding gaze of his Lieutenant, and once she clamped onto something that had her interest she rarely let go. Seeing as how this Kaesstrian was with the Princes however Korian figured it best to spare the kid an awkward meeting. Stepping around T'charrl he placed a hand on Sayomi's shoulder, looking at her gently but firmly. "Part of his biology or not, don't you think that's a little rude to be asking a stranger?" the Commander mused, removing his hand and folding both behind his back again. "He may be around later, perhaps you can request an audience with him then. The boy is a Prince after all. In the meantime, how about you fill me in on how the Princes' ship is coming along? Are we nearly done with the work?"

Bowing to someone like this was degrading enough, but having Viral give him a sharp remark only made Takeshi's blush deepen. "I was wrong, and I admit it. Isn't that enough for you, that I admitted it? You were right." he replied, sounding a bit annoyed. Immediately reeling in his attitude then the Saiyan sighed, shaking his head and looking back at his sword then Viral again. "I'm clueless with my sword, I was swinging it around like a moron and hardly hit anything. I know nothing about my weapon, and I need help figuring it out. So please, teach me?" Again he folded his hands together, bowing his head once again. Surely having him begging would be satisfying enough to agree, seeing as how the two of them never gave the other an inch normally. Really Viral was the only one among them, save perhaps for T'charrl, who could instruct him how to properly use a blade. And chances were the Kaesstrian's lessons would be a bit different, considering how they had four arms and all. Probably best to work with something closer to home. It was just as he finished his pleading that the rumbling began, prompting Takeshi to drop his requests for now and hurry outside to investigate. Upon seeing the mammoth of a beast emerging from the rubble he cursed softly, figuring they had to fight it now. With Yumi and Viral out of commission it was left to him and Shu, if his brother could do it.

"Hello there friend Shu." Yumi said tiredly, smiling as she gave the little Saiyan's nose a tap. It was always nice to see the young kid, even in such a beleaguered state. Now that he was getting back to being all bubbly and excitable his happiness was contagious, and it helped to settle her nerves a bit. Shame she could barely manage to keep herself standing, otherwise she might play with Shu a little, just for the sake of it. Instead she eased herself to sit down on a nearby container, sighing gratefully at the pressure being relieved from her feet. "And I'm happy you're happy," Yumi added, looking at Shu cheerfully. Her smile quickly turned to a frown at the abrupt noises, like everyone else looking in the direction of the source confused. Between Takeshi and Viral's reactions she figured what it had been, scowling disdainfully at the fact they had failed. She tried to get up to help again, but feeling her legs shake a little she sat back down, knowing she'd only be a burden. Watching then as Shu rushed outside to meet his brother Yumi smiled faintly, resigning quite reluctantly to stay behind. "Kill that thing for us!" she shouted after them.

So this was a pretty big creature, even from over here. With much of the mountain gone there was little right by it to compare its size to, but even so Takeshi figured it had to be a good few dozen meters tall, at least. With his sword in hand he looked at Shu amused as he came bouncing over, pointing in the creature's direction. That is what we're fighting. And we're going to blast and stab the crap out of it until it dies, that's how." It already was injured, it shouldn't take a ton of effort on their part to slay it. Viral and Yumi had done the hard work whittling it down, and if it weren't for their injuries he would rather let them finish the job. "If you're bouncing around fine then you're good to go buddy. Let's go kick that thing's butt, yeah?" Getting over there they would have to fly, which meant Shu climbing on his back once again. Takeshi stepped a bit closer to the edge, looking at Shu and gesturing to his back for him to climb on before looking at the ship. "Guys, can you move the ship? I don't want it getting hit by accident!"

Yumi really just felt like lying down right now, her whole body was pretty much begging her to. Seeing the cots just a meter away it was awfully tempting, but she couldn't do it. And upon hearing Takeshi telling them to move she once again tried to make herself rise, using the wall as support this time. She did manage to get to her feet, yet having to lean against the wall was making walking to the cabin a little tricky. Scoffing in annoyance Yumi looked hopefully to Viral, figuring he could get them to safety. "Can you fly this...? I might be able to, if I can get to the room..." To prove her point she began to walk along the wall, getting some distance in before nearly stumbling, catching herself on a container and smiling sheepishly. "It's like my body is getting weaker by the second... Kind of stinks."

T’charrl was appreciative over what Korian was saying, he was definitely willing to accept that his people were spared further pain and horrors that the Saiyans might had provided. He really did manage to insult him as well if somewhat passively, but even if they were a little behind and probably seen as too weak for intensive labour it was definitely for the best; however, what he had that was pretty strange to him was the little woman. Taking her hand when she held it out for him, he pulled back a little when she went straight to the little device. She was certainly a curious woman, but her questions were making him worry a little, “Uhh, umm…implants…?” he mumbled before Korian stepped in, his hand going to Sayomi.

Despite it being Korian talking to her and touching her shoulder, Sayomi did not look pleased and gave him a good stern look, only to give him a shrug and turn slightly away from him, “He’s not a stranger; I’ve seen him twice now”, she spoke, looking back to her computer again. Korian should know her better than that, this was whole new territory to her when none of them wanted to understand these aliens just because they weren’t considered useful, “I know how quick everyone wants to leave this place, so don’t go telling me that when you know it’s not true”. She was a little aggravated that he was in her way, she was just doing her job and gathering information on a missed opportunity, “The ship is going to be fine. Their cannons are still disabled for now and a few spares are being installed that I’m sure they can get further maintenance on if they ever dock at one of our stations. We’re not using a lot of resources on this project, just the usual paint job, stealth mechanisms and new weapons…unless you’re willing on using more resources to update it. Am I allowed to proceed with my work, sir…”

While Shu was very much happy to see Yumi and glad that she was okay, the sound was pretty odd and only meant trouble. At least Takeshi was still able to function properly, he could deal with the problem and it would be finished. At most, Shu could help Takeshi if it really was the god-thing using his own abilities, even if they were unstable. Looking back to the ship when Yumi called out to them, he squeaked and looked back down over the cliff-side. Tilting his head a little, he looked to Takeshi and nodded, bouncing over to him and climbing onto his back, “I’m okay! Is this okay? We’re going to get rid of it, okay?” he smiled, giving his head a little tilt, “Is that really the god? How do we get rid of it…?”

Viral really thought he had killed it, that landslide should have killed even something of that size. Just what was Takeshi planning on doing? He was tiny and the beast was massive, but then again, he was a Saiyan and inherently good at battling while probably being able to beat the odds, quite clearly. Growling lowly, he looked to Yumi in annoyance before slowly getting to his feet, “Just don’t bother”. It wasn’t hard to see he was annoyed, he shouldn’t even be using his arms or flying the ship at all. Stumbling along to the pilot seat, he dropped into it carelessly and shifted his arm a little, trying to get it at an angle where it wouldn’t move around much before taking hold of the controls, activating the system once more and pulling at the wheel to get the ship to rise. As the door quickly shut as the ship rose up, the ship rocked a little as Viral tried to take control of it and move it around the correct way.

Korian should probably have had the hindsight to ward Sayomi away, he knew this would happen. In a way it was amusing, but it also caused him quite a bit of embarrassment as well. Getting between the Lieutenant and her quarry was never a good idea, even for her commanding officer, and sure enough she bore a bit of her fangs when told to back off. Hoping to deviate the conversation a little the Commander asked about the ship, honestly curious as well to know how things were coming along. "That all sounds fine... And we've not really the time to put more resources into things. As you said though, they can always stop by one of our stations if they need to." The Princes, whether they considered themselves it or not, were allies to the rebellion. Albeit anyone who wasn't fighting them was considered an ally, so who knows how much value that had in of itself. Korian couldn't suppress a smile when Sayomi questioned him, clearly having pressed some of her buttons. "You know you don't need to ask me, but yes, you can. And I would assume that we're nearly complete by the sounds of things, which in that case we can start packing things in. If you want to oversee the last of the work I'll begin getting everything locked away for our departure."

Takeshi wasn't entirely certain how he and Shu were going to fight this behemoth. Only he could fly, and while they could both use Ki it would be tricky to get down there and start blasting away. Fidgeting a little when Shu clambered onto his back the older Saiyan smiled, nodding as he used his free arm to reach back and support Shu. "Yeah, that's good. And we're going to get rid of it by..." he paused, scanning the area before slowly rising up into the air. "By... Blowing it to bits. I'll fly us around and we can each blast it, okay? We'll keep it up until it's all gone!" It was a simple enough plan, and provided they moved quick enough this thing wouldn't be able to lay a single finger on them. Whether it was the ideal plan of action or not they were going with it, and with a small push Takeshi began flying towards the creature. It took notice fairly quickly of them, another loud roar bellowing out from its gut as it leaned over and grabbed up a massive rock. Watching in a bit of surprise he slowed slightly when the boulder was lifted, then taken aback a bit when it was hurled at them rather quickly. With the rock hurtling right towards them he descended, flipping upside down for good measure to try and avoid being struck. With Shu hanging off of him practically the boulder flew just over them, within a meter at best as it hurtled into a distant mountain. Turning them back over Takeshi sped up, flying right towards the creature and tightening his grip on the sword. Swerving to avoid a sweeping arm he raced along the extended limb, taking his blade and bringing it down, dragging it along as he cut into the creature. Accidentally hitting the stone padding at the end both he and Shu were sent tumbling a bit, with the older boy catching them in mid air and moving off to regain his senses afterwards. "Ow... Okay, don't hit the plates... Shu, want to try blasting him?"

Yumi watched Viral sulk off to the control room, cringing slightly at how angry he sounded with her. She felt awfully tired, so it was probably best she didn't fly. Yet she had made Viral do it instead, who probably had a concussion and definitely a limp arm. If she was in a poor state to do that job then her friend was even more so. Grumbling incoherently she pushed herself along, ignoring her body's complaints to relax as she too entered the cockpit. With Viral in the main seat she dropped herself into the copilot's chair, groaning slightly before grabbing hold of the controls. "Forgot there were two sets... So maybe I can help," Yumi said, twisting her own throttle to level them out. "I'll keep us steady if you can fly. I only know how to do so much with these things." What little she had experienced with the Saiyans hardly made her a pilot, and even for all her observations of Vegeta flying she was pretty incompetent. But how hard could steadying a ship really be?.

Sayomi was fair dismissal over Korian, somewhat annoyed that he was willing to pull her away from work like this. She would rather get him checked out before they had to leave, who knew when they’d be back and see them again before this alien was gone and nobody had managed to study a Kaesstrian before, especially a specimen this large. Staring at Korian with a rather fed-up look with her computer held close, she blinked slowly before looking down at her computer, pressing a few commands in calmly, “They’ll need food eventually, so they’ll be back”, she spoke, not sounding too convinced that everything would go her way, “Unless the Kaesstrian Prince was to leave before then, otherwise I don’t believe I will get my data from him”.

T’charrl tapped his claws together, looking between them for a moment before raising a claw in slight objection, “Uhh, I-I’ll probably still be…with them”, he spoke, quickly going back to tapping his claws together, “I have a lot of stuff too that will require me to be with the group for a while and uhh…I-I guess I could sometime…maybe?” Looking at Sayomi, she was giving him a fair stern look, trying to find the truth in his words. Frowning a little, he scratched his cheek before letting out a sigh, “I have big problems that they can only really help me with and I-I can do things that will help them too, so it’s best that I travel with them and help them in exchange for helping me”.

Sayomi continued to give T’charrl a good staring at, giving him only a quick look up and down before shifting in her stance a little. The guy was definitely hiding something and she was trying to find it, looking down at her computer eventually and clicking on a few controls, “Big problems, you say?” she spoke, turning slightly away, “So you’re a mutant, then? That would explain a few things”. Looking up at T’charrl, she noticed the frown on his face before she let out a sigh, showing her computer screen for a second which had all sorts of data running down it, “It means nothing bad, otherwise the screen would be giving warnings saying it was. Mutants exist in all species so don’t feel bad about that”.

Shu was definitely holding on tight, he didn’t need to use much more than his tail to keep a good hold onto Takeshi. He did wonder how this creature managed to live as well, there was that odd air about it too that made it feel a lot more threatening than other beasts; however, he was with Takeshi and that was the difference between him feeling confident and scared out of his wits. Staring down as Takeshi continued to rise higher, he looked to him quickly at his explanation of the plan, “Like boom? Okay! I think I can…without hurting you too”, he spoke, staring down again, “Remember I’m not very good at controlling my energy…”

Grabbing hold of Takeshi properly, they were soon going on a dive straight for the creature, Shu closing his eyes for a brief moment as Takeshi went in for the attack. Letting out a squeal of excitement, he wrapped his tail around Takeshi when he suddenly went upside down, holding onto Takeshi tight as a boulder came flying straight for them. He didn’t know how they were supposed to do this, the creature was fairly violent and it was hard to do anything when he couldn’t really fly. Looking over Takeshi again once they were the right way up, he frowned a little before letting out a gasp as he was suddenly thrown off balance from Takeshi. Feeling dazed and a little confused, he looked to Takeshi quickly again once he began to talk, “Blast him? O-Okay! I will! I’ll try not to hit you…” Moving his head slightly, he stared down at the creature before biting his lip, holding his hand out and letting out a blast that might as well had been an explosion from his hand, sending it flying back.

Viral wasn’t up to doing this at all, he just wanted to relax in a chair but instead he was forced in front of all these blinking lights and made to feel dizzy just by staring at them. It was difficult to hold the control, he had to use just one hand and put weight on the other side. Getting the ship up to a decent level, he stared at the controls to try and figure out how he was supposed to steer one handed up until Yumi decided to come in and sit in the other seat. Looking to her with annoyance, he narrowed his gaze as she spoke of her readiness to pilot it with him. She had to be kidding, she didn’t even know how to drive a car, “Are you serious”, he grumbled, turning to the console again, “If you think you can, then take the wheel and steer the ship while I get us moving. You got that…?” Barely giving a moment for a reaction, he took hold of his own wheel in the middle and pushed it forward, causing the ship to move.

"Can't you just let him go...?" Korian asked, mumbling before rubbing at his forehead. Poor kid was going to be hounded now until Sayomi got her answers. Thank goodness their communications were nigh impossible to crack, he had a feeling there was going to be a bit of impromptu calls to try and speak with T'charrl. Or he could be getting ahead of himself, who knows. It was something everyone was curious about, certainly. The only one among the rebellion to have seen Kaesstrians in person was himself, and the Commander had hardly kept a field log to record what he'd seen of their people. It only seemed normal in a way for a scientist like Sayomi to get all up in arms when being denied a chance to study. But they weren't here for her to play detective and prod around the Kaesstrian Prince, they were trying to keep a schedule. A schedule that was gradually falling behind with this side project of theirs. No one to blame but himself for that though, he'd made the call to help out the boys and their friends.

When Sayomi started to talk about T'charrl as a mutant the Commander figured it was probably a good point to end their conversation. His Lieutenant had a way of putting things as straight as could be when speaking, and she certainly was being direct here. No one liked being told something was wrong or different with them, and certainly not being called a mutant. Sighing exasperatedly Korian stepped forward again, placing his hands this time on T'charrl's shoulders with a polite smile. "Your ship is nearly done by the sounds of it. Why don't you go ahead and go take a look? I'm sure someone there will be willing to show you around, if you're curious. We'll be packing up here so it's gonna be a bit hectic, you won't want to be on board." Looking over at Leto he nodded his head, motioning for the Yulian to take their guest out. "It was nice to meet you, T'charrl. I'll be certain to keep some men right near Kaesstra for your sake."

So the fight with the creature had started out perhaps a little hectically. Having to invert himself to avoid getting hit by a boulder Takeshi had managed to cause some damage, only to foolishly smack into a stone plate and tumble through the air after ricocheting off of it. By the time he'd stopped and straightened himself out his arm was all tingly from the impact, and it took him a second to get the sensation to go away. Shaking it off he looked back at the creature. watching as it thrashed about for a second, having gone berserk. Great, nothing like a giant manic monster to fight, just what he wanted. They should probably soften it up a bit with some blasts, just to make things easier. Takeshi figured now was a good time for Shu to get some practice, and so he urged his younger sibling to fire away. With his hand held out just by his head the older boy watched the energy gather... And then recoiled when it erupted fairly close to him. Blinking as the light from the explosion dazed him for a second he looked back over his shoulder, smiling wearily at Shu. "Or... Maybe not. Good first try, but I think we'll wait a second before doing that again," he explained, looking back towards the creature. "Hang on buddy, we're going in again!"

Takeshi sent himself and Shu racing towards the beast, making liberal use of their far greater speed to circle around and get behind it. Again he readied his sword, this time slashing at the monster's back, right near an already nasty wound. Almost instantly it let out a shrill yell of pain, a hand reached back to snatch them yet only grabbed a fistful of air. The Saiyan was already backing off again, getting one final slash on the creature's arm as he darted away. Well, at least something this big he could fight with his sword, but it wasn't exactly killing the creature. Even the gash he'd made on the arm was about comparative to a nasty paper cut, they had to do more damage. The only way he knew how to do more, against something this big, was Ki. Freeing up his other hand then since Shu was well clung to him Takeshi formed a blast, firing it off at the creature's head for good measure. The beast blocked it, and the attack managed to chip away some armor. "We really have to blast it to kill it..." he remarked, debating on how best to do that. "Shu? Can you try blasting him again? I know you can do it, just focus on controlling your energy."

It wasn't very fair to leave all of the flying up to Viral, regardless of how tired she felt. Biting the bullet Yumi dragged herself then up to the control room, taking the free co-pilot's seat. She definitely didn't expect a warm welcome, and the annoyance she got from her friend was perfectly deserved. Nonetheless she cringed a little at it, hating as always to be the source of his distress. Since talking only seemed to put her on the line she'd show herself through actions, namely helping to pilot the ship. She'd get off to a poor start however when Viral abruptly began flying along, hardly giving her time to get acquainted with the controls. Grabbing hold of the wheel Yumi rotated it quickly, bringing their ship upright again as they moved along at a steady pace. She didn't know how far they were going, but figured Viral wasn't going to leave the boys here at least. Outside they vaguely heart the sound of blasts, and another roar from the creature told them the brothers were doing okay so far. Hopefully they could kill it, if not then yet another person would have to come out to finish the job.

Sayomi gave Korian a good staring at in return; nothing could escape her hearing when it involved her, “Don’t come crying to me if you turn out to be allergic to his dust and I can’t cure you”, she spoke, turning around a little and pressing a few buttons on her computer, “Luckily he’s provided me with his genetic material just by scanning the particles from him and I’ll be able to cure any allergies somebody might have…with the young Prince’s mutation being an important detail”. It was always important for a person to know if there was something different about them, especially if they get sick and had to receive special treatment in regards to their differences. Korian should be thankful she wanted to study an alien species that was pretty much a mystery to the Saiyans, it would make medical a lot easier along with the fact she’d be one of the first to get to study one such alien without looking for strength only.

T’charrl didn’t know how to take what Sayomi told him, mainly because he knew about it the moment it happened and yet he had been in denial about it. Staring at her as she spoke, he blinked and quickly looked to Korian when he touched his shoulder. Turning to him quickly, he stared at him curiously before frowning, looking to Leto a moment before back again, “Right. Thank you for letting me on…a-and I’m sorry if I do dust too much”, he spoke, looking down at himself and stroking his claws through his fur a moment, “And thank you for your offer, I just hope if your men ever had to land that they see my mother first”. Giving one last bow, he turned around and headed in the other direction back towards the door.

Shu was completely dazed over what had happened, he didn’t expect his attack to completely backfire like that but at the speed he tried to attack with had left him trying to fire it off too quickly. Still managing to hang onto Takeshi, he shook his head briefly before letting out a squeal as he was taking a dive once more at the beast as Takeshi went in for the attack. Holding onto him pretty tight, he almost felt the urge to raise his hands in excitement as Takeshi flew around, refraining from doing so just incase he actually did fall off. Closing his eyes as the attacks against the creature met, he looked back only when Takeshi said his name, “Another? Ummm okay! I’ll try, I will!” he spoke, looking down at the creature again, “Just focus…uh huh, I’ll try…” Holding out his hand again, he leaned over Takeshi, taking it a little slower to gather the energy, firing off an erratic blast straight for the creature that recoiled and almost sent him flying off Takeshi.

Viral would be quite happy to take the ship and head back, but that would probably be a bad idea if he couldn’t fly it all the way back. The motion was already making him feel tired, his head not really adjusting all that well to motion. Giving Yumi only a side glance when she figured out how to steer, he lead it on for a fair distance away before pulling at it hard to make it stop, “…Now, was that so hard…” he muttered, pressing a few buttons as the ship started to drop down, “Keep it steady, will you…” He was not at all feeling up to it, the shifting elevation was just messing with his head anyway. Pulling at the gears, he turned slightly to look out the window, holding up his arm again before he just relaxed back in the chair, letting out a groaning sigh. It wasn’t even that far he had taken the ship away; the noise of the battle was still pretty close but far enough away for the ship not to be in any danger unless Takeshi screwed up.
