Yumi was fairly lost as to exactly what was going on. One moment she had been blasted out of the air, and the next thing she could recall was lying on the ground, feeling like she had been crushed. No way had an energy attack done that to her, which meant something else had gone on. Had she blacked out? It was the only thing that made sense. Seeing all of the wounds on the creature common sense told her that Viral had inflicted all of the damage while she was out, a fact she was rather happy to see. So he had been putting up a good fight, that was great. Right now wasn't a time to celebrate, they had to get moving. An impromptu avalanche would certainly spell the end of them if they didn't get out of the way, and so ignoring her own discomfort Yumi raced across the room, grabbing Viral out of his mech before flying off as swiftly as she could. Landing on a nearby flat peak she suggested they finish the battle now, only for Viral to push her away and tell her to do it herself. Seeing him holding his arm she frowned, stepping closer and reaching out to help.
"What happened? Is your arm broken...?" Yumi asked worriedly, frowning. She had no recollection of what had happened, or her botched attempt to fix her friend's dislocated shoulder. When had that happened? Looking back towards the temple she watched for a moment as the creature continued to blast away debris, making it seem easy with how it was clearing the mess. They had to do something, it was so close to being beaten. Looking back at Viral hopefully she bit her lip, trying to get him to his feet by grabbing his good arm. "Please, you've got to help. I don't have a lot of energy left in me either, I can't do it alone." For whatever reason she felt absolutely spent, like she had unleashed a good portion of her energy. "Maybe if I can give you some of my energy then you can use that mech again? Surely you'd be able to beat it if you can get off a good shot, right?"
Takeshi squirmed a bit where he sat, trying not to grimace in front of Shu for having eaten the bug. The thought of doing just that grossed him out, he couldn't help but imagine it wiggling down his throat, the little spindly legs poking and prodding as it slid down. Looking down at himself for a moment the Saiyan meticulously checked his clothes for any more bugs, exhaling in relief when he found none. When he glanced back up he was a bit surprised to find Shu so close to him, asking this time if he could be groomed. Glancing at his brother he made note of all the dirt and clutter that was on his person, not having the faintest idea even where to begin. He knew this entire thing was going to be a bad idea, and now here he was being put on the spot. After a moment of struggle Takeshi finally relented, breathing out through his nose before nodding and gesturing for Shu to sit down. "Fine, fine, I'll do it," he replied, immediately giving his little brother a stern glance. "But I am NOT eating anything, I don't care if I find even normal food on you. So long as we're cool with that then I'll do it, deal?"
"Earn, yours now," the father reaffirmed, smiling happily. Grabbing Tesuga he pulled the younger alien to his side, hugging him before looking back up at T'charrl. "Save son, more important, owe much. That small compared to Tesuga, so sure. Be happy if you take." It was a valuable item, and yet it still seemed like such an insignificant reward for what had been done. In a way too the father felt as though his entire community owed thanks, as sooner or later one of their children would have been whisked away as well. Their entire peoples owed debt to these three, and just one singular heirloom hardly was sufficient. Yet as uncertain as T'charrl was to take but one item he figured offering more wouldn't sit very well with the Kaesstrian. "Good luck, item is, charm. Help me and family, it bring you three. Now it help you."
Tesuga slipped out of his father's grip, and with a happy giggle toddled back over to T'charrl, hugging his leg again. "Papa like friend! Mama like friend! Friend happy!" he exclaimed, looking up with a bright, joyful gaze. "Friend get present! Friend show mama when home, yes?" He had to wonder how large his new friend's parents must be, all three of them. They were so tall, so much more so than any of his family or kin, so their own families must be massive. Maybe not as big as their god, but they had to be big anyways. The idea of seeing a ton of big aliens like T'charrl walking around excited Tesuga to no end. "Meet family sometime! See again, play! Friends play!"
