"The sacrifice of one young for my protection of a race, that does not seem unfair to me," the creature replied, waving one of his massive hands. "One life amongst thousands is a small price to pay. They sate my hunger and in turn I deter invaders and aid them with my children. How is that such a poor exchange?" This little one knew nothing by the sounds of it. He couldn't well understand after all, not being from this world. The 'god' was not going to be angry over this, one couldn't be angry over ignorance. He would try to make Viral see it his way, or simply be rid of him, it was that plain in his eyes. "Let's be done with this... I'm still waiting on my meal..." Figuring this alien was a small order he reached out, simply trying to grab hold of Viral and crush him in his grasp. Surprisingly the little thing had fangs, or swords as it were, and knew how to use them. Catching a blade along the palm of the hand the creature grumbled in discomfort, pulling the appendage away and curling it up protectively. Eyes locked on the mech he paid careful mind to it as it jumped into the air, not expecting a rain of knives to come from the alien. The only thing it could well do was lift up an arm, blocking the majority of the projectiles with the plating on said limb. A few got through, piercing his skin along the unprotected bits of his arm as well as his gut. They were so small it was hardly more than a minor nuisance, and quickly enough the god swung out an arm again, trying to catch Viral in mid air.

Takeshi had no clue where his pursuer had gone by now, yet he kept running anyways. Eventually though when all he could hear was his own breathing he stopped, holding his sword at the ready well preparing for an attack. It was a little eerie standing in the grass like this, he couldn't well see anything around him unless it charged directly towards him. It could have slipped off, which would be very worrying. Hopefully T'charrl was ready to fight then, he may be the only thing standing between the monster and the den. While looking around himself the Saiyan frowned hearing a sharp hissing sound, not recognizing it as anything right away. It sounded a ways off, but it was still loud enough to grab his attention. Takeshi rose up out of the grass slowly, looking towards the source of the noise confused. When he spotted T'charrl, hunched over the slowly disappearing remains of a monster his eyes widened in surprise. Something wasn't right, the Kaesstrian didn't look himself. Concerned now the Saiyan began to fly back over, but as he was doing so the second creature finally made itself known. Takeshi didn't even see it jump up, all he felt was a figure slam into him and nearly tear him out of the sky. Half in panic and just trying to stay aloft he pushed on, rising up as he did so while struggling with the sudden added weight. The monster clung onto him around his waist, its claws digging into his side uncomfortably as it tried to hang on.

"Agh...! Let go of me damn it!" Takeshi finally stopped once he was a fair height in the air, glaring down at the creature angrily. Again it tried to pull at him, making him waver in the air and wince at the prodding. It wasn't enough to break the skin, but it was akin to a nasty rug burn, and quite uncomfortable then. Shaking himself a bit to try and break free he finally opted to use the sword, first smashing at the creature's head with the hilt. When that didn't do the trick he adjusted his grip, and with as much force as he could muster he drove the blade down, right in between the eyes of the monster. Emitting a loud roar it finally released him, tumbling towards the ground at great speeds before finally landing a little ways off from T'charrl, knocking up a big plume of dust upon landing. The creatures eyes were both squeezed shut in pain, a horizontal slice nearly reaching both of them. Blindly it got to its feet, sniffing the air for the Saiyan and growling angrily all the while. "T'charrl, careful!"

Viral was trying to do a lot in this battle, mainly avoiding what he could all while he was trying to find weaknesses. He had no reason to compromise with this beast, there was nothing to compromise with. The creature was just spouting out nonsense, the Saiyans had no interest in an underdeveloped world and even with creatures and a bigger creature that made out that it was a god. He had no time for this thing, there was no way he was going to be giving up and leaving this thing. Looking to the large limb come right at him, he growled and took advantage of its momentum, snatching onto it while using the force to swing himself around and clasp onto the underside of it, “Go chew on a rock! Since when was taking away a child’s life a fair trade??” he spoke, shifting his sword around, “If this was a good exchange for them, you wouldn’t eat them at all!” Forcing his sword down to pierce the hide of the beast, he soon tried to move around again and bounce off it, trying to get to its back. He needed to find a weakness in it, there had to be something somewhere for him to pierce and weaken it.

T’charrl couldn’t tell he was losing control of himself, he was completely lost in the moment and there was little to distract him from the now disappearing creature. Losing himself to the moment completely, he stood over its fading form as if displaying power over it before there was a sudden noise. There was a sudden yell of pain as Takeshi was struck, the other monster almost triumphing over him until it was sent straight to the ground. Turning to look to the noise he let out a low hiss, staring at the dusty cloud before Takeshi spoke up again, calling out his name. Ceasing his hissing, he stared at Takeshi for a moment before clasping his head, panicking a great deal if even for a moment.

He wouldn’t be able to hold it during battle, that much was becoming even more obvious as time went on and he was just finding it so tough keeping up with his own sanity. He didn’t know what was happening anymore and was losing the plot, therefore losing himself. Struggling to get back into his own state of mind, he looked straight from Takeshi to the monster, seeing it down to the ground and hopefully not going to go and try to get to the den again. Panicking a moment, he tried to find himself once more before making a brief stumble for the beast. He was trying to get to it and force some wounds open, but he was struggling to get his head together still and was seeing a great deal of fuzz. He didn’t know how he was supposed to be careful at this point, but with Takeshi struggling he felt he was the only one able to take on the creature. Trying to pull himself out of the momentary struggle, he tried to gather his energy and made a sudden leap at the creature, making an attempt to force his claws down at its wound on its face to pull it apart.

Having great size made one an awfully formidable opponent. Not to mention the strength that came with it, and the durability a thick hide and stone-like plating that cover vitals offered. Of course, a downside was the speed, or rather lack thereof. In a universe dominated by individuals that could break the sound barrier the creature was sorely lacking in that department, perhaps traveling as quickly as the speed of molasses on a good day. At least that's hows sluggish its movements seemed compared to the deft ones of Viral and his Enki. Another swipe turned out to go poorly, and as a result the 'god' had the back of his hand stabbed, this being a bit more painful than the Beastman's little daggers. Groaning in discomfort it pulled its hand away, a bit late as Viral was already leaping to a new spot. Glowing eyes trained on his target it immediately recognized where he was going and with no small degree of effort shifted itself, stepping to the side to all but avoid being latched onto again. Seeing his opponent slip by the creature balled its hand into a fist this time, throwing a truck sized punch in his direction to try and squish Viral.

The creature was struggling just to even see, the wide gash being quite inconvenient for such a purpose. Its face felt like it was on fire, and every time it opened its eyes a searing pain washed across its visage. Like its counterpart before it was going to have to sacrifice something to remedy this, and slowly one of its smaller hind legs began to wisp away, leaving it with but three limbs to move on. Able to open its eyes the beast had blurry vision at first, yet it was enough to make out a large figure advancing towards it. Growling throatily it recognized the figure as the dusty one, a bit dejected it wasn't something it could eat. Being a bit immobilized now there wasn't a good chance of fighting them, and this survival instincts kicked in. Rearing back slightly and letting out an angry roar to try and intimidate its opponents it then melted down into the ground, and moving along swiftly in spite of a missing limb then it began to run off. Unbeknownst to either of the fighters it was moving towards the mountain range, the very same that Viral and Yumi had traveled to. If it could get there in time it could heal and perhaps try again, and get a new partner while it was at it.

Takeshi figured they had the thing killed, seeing it blind and limp. Before T'charrl could even get anywhere near it however the monster had vanished, seeping into the ground and going goodness knows where. His first instinct was to go to the den, so forgoing the Kaesstrian briefly he soared down over to the native's home. Touching down on the grass he looked about for any signs of the beast, sword in his hand ready to strike out again. There wasn't a single indication it was over here, and when he poked his head into the tunnel to take a look he couldn't see anything either. Even if that one was gone they couldn't leave, not until they were sure it was safe. That didn't mean there wasn't other matters of business to attend to however. Looking back at T'charrl he smiled sympathetically, for the most part putting together what had happened to his friend. After carefully sheathing his sword Takeshi went over to him, putting his hands up defensively in case things might be a little sketchy right now. "T'charrl? It's gone, we don't have to keep fighting, so you can calm down now," he explained politely, not wanting to give any cause for the Kaesstrian to become angry. "It's like we said, just take control of your power. You control it, it doesn't control you."

Despite Viral getting in a good few hits and managing to pierce the skin of this massive creature, it was not exactly going to help him much when it was still able to move and the attacks did little to it. He couldn’t exactly do much more other than try and find where a weakspot was and hopefully manage to get to it. The beast had a heavy hide, it was definitely a good struggle to try and move around it when he couldn’t fly in this model of mech and Yumi was nowhere to be seen. Moving around and making an attempt to get to its back, he missed momentarily only to swing around and receive a direct and forceful punch. It was like being hit by a brick wall and had managed to go flying, his mech slamming on the ground pretty hard before he managed to make a flip to get back on his feet.

There was definitely a little worry as to whether he could pull this off, especially when his machine was beginning to buzz a bit after that smack. He could repair the damage overtime much like his own body, but if it became too much then he would have to abort completely. Slowly shifting back into position again, he looked up and around for Yumi, hoping he didn’t fall on her, “After all this time…and you only managed one punch??” he spoke up, turning to face the creature as he tried to charge up the circlet upon the mech’s head, the energy gathering briefly before vanishing, his eyes looking up at it before he decided to run once more. He couldn’t gather up enough power from here, he really needed solar energy and this place had never seen the light of day. Figuring he could improvise for now, he decided to go in under the creature, darting just to avoid any possible strike coming his way before he would be able to raise his sword and try to go for the underbelly instead.

T’charrl was trying his best to do several things at once, his mind barely able to keep it together and while this creature was still up and about it was going to prove difficult to the point of near impossible. He had to save the others, but keeping his mind together was a whole different challenge altogether. Throwing himself at the creature, he tried to grab it with his claws, his eyes focused on it barely before it instead pulled back and roared at him, T’charrl letting out a nasty hissing snarl at it as it instead melted away. He couldn’t even keep it together as it vanished, his claws trying to tear into the ground in desperation. Even though it was gone, he needed to find something to tear up and just wasn’t finding it at all as Takeshi decided to look for it himself.

He was completely losing it, his vision blurring and his head burning. He could barely keep it together and was plain struggling to find clarity again to prevent any loss of control, but then again he already had. The moment Takeshi came back and spoke, he turned to face him with a hiss, his teeth bared and his eyes sharp before his expression softened slightly as he realised what he was saying. Looking over him a moment, he slowly reached up to his head, clasping it with a groan as his body shook slightly. He was definitely trying to take control, his expression remaining fair angry before it softened completely, T’charrl taking in deep breaths as he kept his eyes off Takeshi, “…I can’t…I can’t keep doing this…” he panted, turning slightly to look elsewhere, “It escaped…it’s gone. I couldn’t kill it…”

"That one punch seems to have done the job," the creature replied, picking himself back up and flexing his beefy fingers. "Do not underestimate the power of a single strike. Sometimes that is all it takes." So this one was going to play the bravado card, typical. There had been many like him before, none of which had ever lived to try doing it again. So it would be then this ones fate to join the others in oblivion for his foolishness. Watching curiously as Viral gathered energy in his crest the creature held still, assuming he would have to block an attack once more. As the energy fizzled out instead the mech began to run at him, and of course the god tried to smack away the smaller opponent, wanting to keep him at arm's length. One fist slammed into the ground just to the right, missing as the Beastman swerved. His other hand slammed flat on the ground, missing as well as it smashed through the tiled flooring and stuck in the ground. Sluggish as it was the creature could do little when Viral slipped under him, and a sharp pang along his inner leg told him he had been struck. Grumbling angrily the creature lifted up its hands, lifting a foot and trying unsuccessfully to step on and crush his opponent. Seeing nothing beneath its foot the large being turned itself around, glowering down at Viral. "Stop this nonsense, it's a frugal effort."

Yumi was doing her best to stay out of the way, trying to leave the fighting up to Viral as he wanted. There wasn't nearly as much concern as there had been initially, the 'god' was pretty slow and a big target, so in all it should be a fair easy battle. That one punch did make her worry a little for a moment, yet her friend picked himself right up and got back to the fray, hardly showing signs of slowing down. Indeed she would have well kept out of the matter entirely were it not for the failed attack on Viral's part grabbing her attention. Seeing his crest flicker like it did alerted her to a rather serious problem; sunlight was all but nonexistent in this place. Viral's ability may be new to her, but it was a safe guess it used his energy to maintain it. With no sun to help fuel his powers he'd run out sooner or later, and that mech was probably his ticket to winning. By that end they needed a way to get sunlight into the building, and a lot of it. With the creature's back to her she took the opportunity to fly on up towards the ceiling, looking around for any sign of a skylight or window but finding none. That wasn't such a big problem, they could improvise. Hopefully the structure was going to handle it well.

"All you're doing is bothering me, little one. Can't you see your struggle is fruitless?" The creature took a step towards Viral again, a little bit of blood seeping from its wound as the leg was extended and contorted again. "Spare yourself a painful death and submit. I am merciful, I will make it quick, as I do for all of my sacrifices. You need not suffer if you give in." An arm lifted into the air again, the hand balling into a tight fist that was primed to slam down on Viral again. Before it could so much as move an inch however there was a loud blast that echoed behind the fighting pair, following by the sound of large rocks crumbling and others hitting the floor. Baffled the creature turned its head, surprised to see a gaping hole put into the ceiling of its home. And there, floating in the middle of it, was the female, covered in dirt and dust from the blast. How dare she defile his temple like that, did she have no regard for his position? Deciding she should be dealt with first he turned around once more, swinging out at her angrily. "I'll kill you first... For ruining my home..." His attack missed, and the creature let out a sound of displeasure as a rock fell down, clocking him on the head before tumbling to the ground.

Takeshi was relieved that the creature didn't get into the cave, not entirely sure where it was going otherwise. Perhaps they had managed to scare it off, were they so lucky. Even if that were the case he fully intended on remaining where they were for the time being, just to make sure the natives were going to be safe. Not only that but there was the small matter of T'charrl's transformation to contend with. While it was new to the Saiyan the idea of becoming feral wasn't, he'd plenty of experience between Shu and Viral. So as with them he opted to go for a sort of gentle approach, hoping perhaps to talk down his friend. Making sure not to do anything that would come across as threatening Takeshi gave what reassurance he could, keeping distance enough not to give the wrong impression. Seeing the Kaesstrian struggle to bring himself down from his violent high he tried to come up with a means to help, rubbing at his head thoughtfully. Finally an idea hit him, and with a snap of his fingers the Saiyan smiled brightly.

"Hang on a second! I know what might help!" Recalling what was said earlier Takeshi hurried over to the cart, glad to find it was still untouched despite all the mayhem that had taken place. Grabbing hold of the handles he dragged it back to the entrance of the den, dropping it down before T'charrl and gesturing to it hopefully. He had said food helped him stay calm, so a nice meal should be just the ticket to get him back to himself. "And so the thing got away, no big deal right? It's not attacking the den, so it's not a threat. Besides, I'm sure we'll find it before we leave here, not like a crippled monster can go all that far." Sort of a problem that the thing didn't bleed, that meant no trail to follow. One way or another they'd dig up the creature, perhaps literally, and see it was done in. Couldn't risk it still wandering around after all.

This plan wasn’t working very well, Viral was needing to find a way around it fairly quickly and if that wasn’t going to happen then he was going to be stuck completely and probably end up losing power faster than he was going to be able to defeat it. The entire thing was completely difficult, seeing as how the size and scale of the creature was the biggest problem he needed to face. Trying hard to slice the creature in any way possible, he watched it carefully upon each attack that went through just to see if it was managing to deal any sort of damage to it. While he was managing to get through its hide, there wasn’t any evidence that it would eventually manage to destroy it considering they were about the size of tiny stabs and this thing was not caring, “At least I am putting up a fight!”

Right now was a matter of getting around in time and trying to avoid any oncoming attacks that might otherwise crush him and destroy his Enki. Grinding to a halt momentarily, he moved to withdraw his other blade as the creature continued to mock his ability to fight, glaring at him, “Spare yourself the effort. I’ll kill you first!” he spoke, his hand on his other blade as the massive arm raised itself into the air followed by a massive blast from elsewhere. That wasn’t from the creature, but as a result of the blast the roof was now seeping sunlight through the dust that flew through the air. It was most likely Yumi who did that, his eyes searching for her little figure but hardly for long as the roof collapsed some more. The creature was struck, bringing it to the ground in a daze and giving him an advantage. Growling momentarily, he immediately ran around the creature, his circlet charging energy gradually as he moved, “You dared threaten me, now you’ll wish you hadn’t!” Skidding to a halt, the circlet powered up all the way and immediately fired it straight at the beast. The sunlight wasn’t particularly strong, but if he could get off a good attack to test its strength against the creature.

T’charrl was stressed out all over, he could pull out his fur out over how he was feeling and what was happening to him. He was still struggling to find a way to keep it all together and in doing so was just making it worse for himself. Takeshi didn’t need to know about everything that was happening to him, it was that desperation that was driving his will to keep it together. Worried over the thought of the creature coming back too, he looked to Takeshi when he suddenly went off elsewhere, leaving him by himself for a little bit as he went back to the cart. He wasn’t sure what he was doing, but all he could think about was how he was supposed to fight in the future after all of that. Trying to hold himself together, he turned a little when Takeshi came on by again but instead with food.

Feeling a little confused for a moment, he slowly turned towards the food before making a brief wander for it, grabbing some of the fruit and chomping down on it before letting out a sigh. He was feeling a little better, but his nerves were still there and he was definitely still worrying over his predicament. Slowly collapsing into a sprawled seated position, he stared down at the fruit in his hands as he shook his head, frowning, “Thanks…I-I didn’t mean for that to happen”, he spoke, looking elsewhere, “I shouldn’t had let it, though. I had it, if I could have just…focused a little better. I don’t know how I’m supposed to manage”. He was fair worried for himself and the others around him. He had hoped he could kill the beast before anything happened to him, but instead it managed to get away and probably went off to recover before making an effort to come back and fight once more, “If it can’t get far, then how come we don’t know where it’s gone…? Maybe I shouldn’t do this fighting thing, I mean…if you hadn’t been there…”

This was turning into a battle what was bound to go nowhere fast. On one hand Viral was quick and could duck in and out to evade blows, yet he couldn't inflict any real damage. And while the god was incredibly durable it was too slow to normally strike him. If nothing changed soon then it would become a contest of endurance, and with the lack of sunlight it wasn't going to be in the Beastman's favor. After missing two successive attacks the creature was becoming a little bit flustered, having difficulty keeping up with his opponents quicker movements. Matters were only further complicated when a sudden and unexpected explosion tore through the roof of the temple, bringing the fight to a temporary pause as everyone looked towards the sound. The female had caused it, though the reason behind her destroying his home he couldn't say. All the creature knew was it was bothersome, and for the moment his violent intentions turned towards Yumi. Like Viral she was too quick, and after missing yet another strike a boulder fell onto the creature's head. It wasn't enough to do damage despite its large size, but big enough at least to confuse it temporarily. That was all the opening that Viral would need.

Still staggering a bit the creature barely had time to register what the Beastman was doing with his energy. When the attack was fired there was no helping it, the blast was going to hit. Taking the shot right in the upper left portion of its chest the creature made another rather loud sound of discomfort. The blast managed to chip away some padding, making it crack and flake off as it fell to the ground in chunks. The blast did not exclusively stay contained on the armor, and as things settled Viral could likely see some singed flesh around the impact zone. Fur had been burnt away to reveal the skin underneath, fair red from the heat of the attack. Lifting its hand to cover the wound for a moment the creature glared at Viral, furious now for being injured, however minutely. It also became precariously aware that it could indeed be injured by this alien, now caution was needed. "A burn... And a few cuts. Is this all you can inflict?" the god chided. Already it had picked up that Viral had a bit of a temper, it could exploit that and perhaps make him make a mistake. Then, without even seeing any hint of it another blast hit the creature, this time in its unprotected lower back. Howling angrily it reached back with its hand again, feeling more charred skin and burnt fur where it had hit. A look back confirmed it was the female once more.

Yumi had taken cover as the roof was collapsing, and with the debris done falling she opted to play more of a part in the fight. Having some sunlight in the room was helping both Viral's power and her nerves, now she felt far more comfortable. Having landed a successful attack too only served to embolden her, though not to the point of foolishness. While she knew this was still Viral's fight she'd only throw in the occasional attack, enough to pretty much be an obnoxious mosquito. This had to be his battle, she'd only intervene if absolutely necessary. This attack had just been for fun.

That girl was definitely a nuisance. but she wasn't the primary threat. Her attack hadn't hurt nearly as much as Viral's had, and she didn't have two swords. Bothersome as she may be she wasn't going to be the target, not yet anyways. Turning back towards Viral the creature moved both hands to the Beastman's side, and dismissing any caution about what it was doing it then tried to clamp both hands around the alien, hoping to crush it in its grasp.

The fighting was effectively over now, and T'charrl had to be seen to then. Takeshi didn't so much have a problem with that as he did with not knowing what to do. A brief flashback of the mention of food gave him an idea, and he promptly retrieved the cart of food for his friend to eat. While it didn't seem to do the trick entirely it calmed the Kaesstrian enough to talk at least, a good start if nothing else. Things like this happened quite a bit in their group, he wasn't truly inexperienced when it came to people sort of... Snapping. Hell, he was guilty of it pretty often himself, it was something he knew all too well. Never was someone happy with themselves after the episode, and sure enough T'charrl stayed true to that form. Takeshi couldn't help but feel sympathetic, it wasn't a very appealing thing to go through. Nor was it helpful to think your power was getting away from you, as his friend seemed to be lamenting over.

"Maybe you shouldn't. I mean it did get away from you after one fight." Takeshi said, crossing his arms before looking at T'charrl sternly. "Or you can call it a fluke and keep going. Things like this happen, and one or two instances don't make you incompetent or unable to keep yourself under control. Until any of us master our power it's going to happen, it's a fact that I've had to accept after doing what you just did gods know how many times." Softening up a little he smiled, dropping his arms and giving T'charrl's shoulder a gentle patting. "I might have saved you this time, sure, but that doesn't mean you'll need saving again. Have more confidence in yourself and you won't need anyone else to help you out if it happens again. I mean come on T'charrl, you're the first of your kind in space. You beat General Yusef, you can fight these creatures. If anyone can get themselves sorted out it's you."

As to where the creature had gone off to Takeshi could only offer a clueless shrug. It wasn't in the den, and as far as he was concerned that was all that mattered. They would find it later at some point, especially if they enlisted the help of others to track it down. The monster's demise wasn't a question of if, but when. Hopefully T'charrl wouldn't beat himself up too much over it escaping then. Seeing as how there was no longer any immediate danger Takeshi went over to the den's entrance, kneeling down and poking his head inside. "Shu? It's safe now, you can bring them out!" he called, his voice echoing through the systems that led inside. Pulling himself out and back to his feet the Saiyan smiled a bit, satisfied with what they did manage to accomplish. One of them was dead anyways, and the other near so. Plus the child was safe now, that was a job well done. What he wasn't so thrilled with however was his performance in that fight, particularly with his sword. Glancing at the hilt sticking over his shoulder he gave it a small nudge, debating on taking it out of the sheath again before dismissing the idea with a sigh. "Why bother...? I can't use it..." he mumbled, dropping his hands into his pockets and scuffing his foot against the dirt. He needed lessons, no doubt about it. The question then was who did he go to; T'charrl, or Viral?

Viral had put a lot of power into that attack, he really wanted to deal some proper damage where it counted no matter what the cost to his defences might be. He couldn’t do with failing to hit with this attack, it would take a while for him to charge up enough energy again to be able to withstand firing it off. Hoping it would hit a vital spot, the attack managed to scorch the creature and create a vulnerable spot instead. It could have been better, but at the same time it could had been a lot worse and failed completely. Glaring at the creature, he watched it calmly as it tried to make light of the situation; however, that moment was quickly wrecked when Yumi also took the opportunity to blast its back.

Those two attacks had created two appropriate weaknesses in its defences, something that would definitely prove handy in his battle against this thing. He didn’t much like he would have to either go straight under or completely over the creature, but maybe he would be able to do something with that and not need to use his beam again for a while anyway. Looking around quickly, he soon decided to back off a few steps as the creature instead turned to him, trying to make an attempt to squash him between the two pillars that were its massive hands, “Is this all YOU can do? Throw your arms around??” he spoke, lifting up both his blades and immediately began to spin rapidly on the spot. It was like a whirlwind effect only with blades trying to shred up whatever came close to him, but after a brief halt he was quick to suddenly run across the battlefield, the wind continuing to circulate around him before he leaped up towards the creature, speeding straight for the burn he had managed to inflict with a great boost of speed to send him higher as he tried to cut it straight open.

T’charrl felt pretty scared and a little depressed at his circumstances, this whole thing seeming a lot harder than he imagined and it was definitely beginning to make him wonder if he should be here. He did manage to seemingly kill one of the creatures, it definitely evaporated away and that looked pretty dead to him, but he missed the second and it could be anywhere by now. Letting out a sigh as he stared down at his food, he shook his head slowly, “I just…feel so awful”, he spoke, lowering his head before looking to Takeshi’s hand as he patted his shoulder. Takeshi always seemed confident, but placing that in him felt like a waste of time, “It just hurts so much and…even though I should be happy about that, I can’t help but worry about the day I lose myself forever. It will happen, it’s just a matter of time if I can’t keep it together”.

Watching as Takeshi went to the den briefly to let Shu know he could leave it, he decided to munch at his food some more as he tried to get over his low point over what happened. That was his biggest fear, he could end up losing his mind completely and would have to be put down as the monster he’s become. If anyone would have to do that it was definitely his friends, but it was a question as to whether they would be able to defeat him before he managed to take all their energy and devour them. Watching as he came back, he looked to him momentarily before he shook his head, not really agreeing with what he was saying, “You can…I mean, you used it back there, you just need to get training with it. At least it’s something you can learn just if you wanted to…”

Shu had been well into this hiding and protecting gig the entire time they were outside, his head only poking out of the den when Takeshi had moved back to the cart. He didn’t know whether it was safe to come out, he didn’t see anything that told him the creatures were dead except for the fact that they were sitting around the cart. Tilting his head a little, he slowly moved out of the den, moving along on his knuckles before he bounced towards his brother as he looked behind himself. He felt a little nervous and didn’t like leaving his post, but if Takeshi said it was safe then he was sure the family would follow him out.

"I don't need to do any more to defeat you," the creature offered in rebuttal. It needed only a single good strike to get its way, that much was made evident early on. It was easier said than done of course, Viral was awfully quick and agile in his Enki. If it could just pin down the Beastman and keep him from running about then the speed wouldn't be an issue. To that end the creature tried to ensnare the alien in its grip, using both massive hands to cut off routes of escape. Something was going to be cut, but it wasn't going to be Viral's way out. In a manner much too quick to react to the alien began to spin around, his blades extended out to his sides. By the time the creature realized what was going on his hands had each been sliced, making him retract them quickly and hold them up in the air in safety. Two or three gashes were on each palm now, a thick purple ooze slipping out from the injuries. There was no time to cry over its injuries, Viral was far from finished. Watching as the Beastman then sprung up into the air the creature raised its arms to block the attack, shielding its injured chest with its plated forearms. The swords clattered against the stone, not quite slicing through but steadily whittling away at it. Lifting its arms the creature deflected Viral away, yet not before catching a sword to its face, getting a nice big cut along its right cheek. Growling angrily it reached up at the now airborne Viral, trying to swat him to the ground with one good strong smack.

"It can't happen if you don't let it though, right?" Takeshi replied, smiling hopefully. "You just got to do your best to keep control." That seemed a pretty common problem with their group as a whole. T'charrl and Viral with their powers, Shu as well, himself with his anger. Everyone had something that could run away from them, something that was a sort of Achilles heel. An awful lot to overcome, and with no one really around to help them they were pretty much on their own too. Trying not to be too disheartened by the fact however Takeshi made his way over to the den, calling for his brother and the aliens to come out. No reason to keep hiding if the creatures were gone, and perhaps this way they could get some idea on this god of theirs too. Yumi and Viral should be en route to fight the thing right now, so anything they could learn was going to be quite handy. Smiling at Shu as he emerged the older boy moved to the side, watching as the father came out after Shu, followed by his wife and their son. It was a job well done all in all, they had protected the kid and driven off the creatures. Hopefully for good too, he'd hate to think of what may happen if they should come back when none of them were around to help.

Takeshi shook his head at what T'charrl had to say, not quite buying into it. Sure he had managed to get a few good pokes in, but he was hardly efficient. What had he really managed to injure anyways, some wild animal? A lot of good that was going to do him in a real battle. All he'd done is stabbed the creature, not exactly an intricate display of swordsmanship. Not wanting to mull over his own shortcomings the Saiyan took one last look around the area, a little wary for the moment still now that they had the child out in the open. It all looked clear though, so they should be okay. "We think they're gone, for now at least. One of them is dead, and the other one is pretty close to that, so they shouldn't bother you anymore."

"Safe... Real safe? Sure?" the father asked, taking his turn to look around the area. Lifting his head up he gave the air a careful sniffing, just to be sure. There was the faint stench of one of the Dural, but it was fading gradually, almost like it was vanishing. He could even tell one had retreated and in which direction, that and it was far away now. So they were truly safe, and more importantly Tesuga was truly safe. Acknowledging this with a smile he nodded his head, looking over at T'charrl and Takeshi and bowing his head. "Thanks, thanks many. Safe son, live still, best reward. Thank enough, give something, I swear."

Viral could see he was somewhat managing to get through this creature’s hide, struggling a great deal when there wasn’t much he could do in awkward positions. He couldn’t be at this angle, he needed to get behind and up the creature to do any real damage using the blast area. He could drive down and kill it that way, it would be the quickest way to end all of this; however, his problem right now was being in the wrong place. He was trying to do all he could just now to get around it, even going in for a charge to try and get in to the damage he inflicted. Coming in fast, he twisted his blades around to try and get in to deal the damage before the creature managed to swing its arms around and block the damage instead. Looking up immediately, he sliced his sword upwards just as he began to drop back down again, trying to twist himself around before he was suddenly whacked right out of the air. The collision was ferocious, his great metal form crashing to the ground so hard that it bounced, throwing Viral right out of his mech as both of them collapsed in a heap.

T’charrl let out a sigh, looking away and giving a little nod. He did hope he could, he just worried that he’d lose himself completely before that even happened. There was a lot to worry about for him and the others, he could endanger their lives so easily just by being so unstable. If he could just have one desire it would be to return to his old form; even if it meant he’d take on this form sometimes, being in his normal form meant he could at least appear normal and not freakish and basically a mini monster form. Letting out a sigh, he eventually decided to lay down, folding his wings up nearly as he did, “I’m just…scared, I guess. I’m scared of what I’ve become and I’m scared of what I can do. You’ve not seen the worst of it, anyway…”

Shu was a little unsure to what was going on, but he knew he had to come out eventually to check what was happening. He was a little worried that the monster was still somewhere, the feeling he got from them was full of fear and made him shiver. He had done quite a lot to protect the family just by being there, feeling fairly happy to help. Squeaking a little as he turned around, he smiled when the family decided to come out as well, sniffing around for the creature. Bouncing on the spot a little, he turned to look to Takeshi for a moment before back to the father, shaking his head, “Ooh, we don’t ask for something, but maybe Takeshi wants something…?” he asked, tilting his head a little at Takeshi before noticing T’charrl was lying down looking all snug yet lonely. Frowning, he slowly moved towards him before thinking otherwise, thinking maybe the guy wanted to try and relax, “Umm…what if more come…? Will we be safe?”

Between the burns and now the cuts the creature was in quite a bit of discomfort. Nowhere near dead, but there was enough done to it that this was no longer just some minor hindrance. Actually eliminating these two was going to take some effort, more than its menial efforts thus far had taken. After being sliced on the cheek the large creature swung a hand out at the mid-air Beastman, smacking him away not unlike a gnat. There was the satisfying sound of metal smashing against the ground upon impact, and it watched as Viral spilled out of his machine, both him and his Enki laying there motionlessly. Now that felt good, it was only a small rebuttal to what had been done thus far though. The creature still was angry at having his nap interrupted, and what's more its meal was nowhere in sight. These two were to blame as far as it was concerned, and he'd subsequently kill and devour both to make up for his lost meal. "So frail... Though I will admit, you can fight." the creature mused, stepping towards Viral and looking down at him thoughtfully. "You might have made an excellent underling, shame you're going to have to die now..." Lifting up one of its feet the creature moved to step down on Viral, coming precariously close to accomplishing its task. Before that happened a large Ki blast slammed into the back of its neck, knocking it forward unsteadily as it tumbled down, missing Viral as it topped across its throne, crushing it and landing awkwardly.

Yumi, who had been watching with trepidation, was now fully vested in the fight. She wanted Viral to have this, so that maybe he'd regain some confidence and self worth. That had been the intent at least, though right now she could scarcely think about that. It was safe to say she couldn't think at all really, her mind was an utter fuzz of anger and fury at the present. After seeing Viral smacked down and his unmoving frame laying there something in her snapped, something that made her quite literally go mental. It was like someone flipped a switch, one second she was standing by silently rooting for her friend and the next she was out for blood. While hovering in mid air she had felt her body lock up for a second before what felt like a sudden rush of heat surged through her, filling her body with a terrifying burst of energy. Her head felt like it might implode, and for a good second she thought she might die from the sudden onset. Her body reacted oddly to the sudden increase of power, a gain of muscle mass making her a little bulkier than before. Her canines also elongated, and her hair spiked up slightly, looking like it was in a permanent state of bristling. If she could think straight then all of this power would do her some serious good, but her thoughts were much too chaotic right now. All she wanted was blood, and to see the creature that hurt Viral dead.

After slamming a perhaps necessarily large Ki blast into the creature's lower neck Yumi made a straight line for Viral, and upon reaching him crouched over him, getting low and holding herself on all fours, glaring up at the fallen behemoth furiously. She was trying to protect her friend right now, and the best way to do that was to slay their enemy. Emitting a throaty growling noise she jumped right at the behemoth, grabbing hold of his fur as he was getting to his feet. Using her Ki to assist her she scaled the back of it, moving right up to the injury on its neck while avoiding grasping hands deftly. When close enough to the wound Yumi clamped on tightly with one hand on the fur, using the other to amass as much Ki as she could in a brief few seconds before throwing it point blank at the same wound. The resulting blast actually managed to knock her off, her grip holding and tearing away a tuft of fur as she was sent flying away. The follow up attack had done what she wanted though, and the skin was now properly pierced and near cooked, looking a sickly black at this point. The roar of pain the creature admitted was awfully satisfying too, it had been well worth it. Landing on all fours again she let out an almost roar of her own, challenging the creature to come after her. It wasn't going to hurt Viral any more, she'd kill it long before that could happen.

Takeshi wanted to offer a rebuttal to that, but figured it would be a bit off color. He'd like to say he'd seen his friend near eat his mother, how could it be worse than that? Safe bet though that was a fresh wound, and something T'charrl would just as soon forget. Instead then he'd leave it alone, letting the Kaesstrian calm down with a moment to himself perhaps, whatever worked. With the emergence of Shu and the natives there were things to cover now too, namely what they were going to do at this point. They couldn't be sure if the creature that had gotten away would come back or not, or if there might even be more. That didn't seem to be a total concern for the natives right now however, they were enjoying the victory for the time being. Nonetheless it was a potential danger they couldn't ignore, and Shu shared that sentiment. "Oh... Oh no, no I don't want anything," Takeshi said quickly, shaking his head and waving his hands. He wasn't trying to look like a good guy by refusing a reward or anything, there was just really nothing he'd hoped to get out of this. A chance to use his sword maybe, albeit that had hardly gone the way he had hoped. "If more come...? Yeah, we'll be fine Shu, don't worry," the older boy added, rubbing at his sore torso absentmindedly. "We beat them once and we can again if we have to."

Tesuga had a basic grasp on the situation, knowing only that he had been in danger and now apparently he wasn't. They had his friend's brother and the other alien to thank, and his father was being quite open about his gratitude. Smiling cheerfully at how it all worked out the little critter looked over at T'charrl, his smile wavering slightly seeing the forlorn Kaesstrian lying there. Wondering what was wrong Tesuga started to go over, clasping his hands together nervously as he approached. This one was bigger than the others, and he looked like he could really hurt someone. Nevertheless he had helped, that deserved some thanks. Stopping when he was next to T'charrl's head the little alien reached out, patting his savior's head with a little claw as he smiled hopefully. "Happy, win. Safe now, because of you. Thank you." Moving a bit closer Tesuga then awkwardly hugged T'charrl's shoulder, giving a happy squeak before letting go and smiling again. "Friend too? Like friend!"

Viral had hit his head pretty hard, landing on his arm with his shoulder dislodged from its joint. It was injuries that would be easily fixed, but he was unconscious and unable to act for himself. He should had been dead after that, no normal creature could had survived a fall of force like that and it was only a plus that he had a thick head. His Enki was in a similar sorry state, its eyes black and empty as it lay in a crumpled heap. For the majority of his time as Yumi fought off the great beast and preventing his demise, it was just the floor that was accompanying Viral right up until Yumi decided to make a protective stance over him. Even then his face was still in the floor and it was proving all too familiar to every other time he came in contact with the floor. With the roar from the great creature ringing through his ears, Viral gradually began to shift uncomfortably on the floor, looking up for a moment before resting his head back on the ground. From someone else’s perspective it would look like he was awake at all with his only visible eye closed as blood ran down his face from his head, but he could see what was happening if a bit fuzzy.

Shu didn’t know what was wrong with T’charrl but figured he was just tired, his attention going to Takeshi instead. He was pretty happy right now, knowing the creatures were nowhere to be seen and if it would ever return then it wouldn’t be a big deal and it’d go away again. For now, all he could do was relax with his brother, staring at the cart of food curiously for a moment, “I’m glad everyone is okay, that’s good enough for me!” he spoke, giving a nod before he looked back up to Takeshi, “You weren’t hurt much by them, were you? They had really mean energy, I felt really scared in the cave because of it…but I wanted to feel brave! I did too! Kind of…apart from feeling scared…but, now what? What do we do? Do we wait? I don’t know if I want to eat right now, I still feel scared…”

T’charrl was feeling pretty depressed, not entirely sure whether he could keep it all up and was just plain struggling to come to terms with what was happening to him. He worried for all those around him, he was scared for them and worried they wouldn’t be safe around him for much longer. Even when it had been such a short time, it was still incredibly difficult to keep himself together before he managed to unwillingly become a beast. Feeling tired and fed up, his antennae twitched a little before he opened his eyes, spying the little creature as it gave his head a little patting. Staring at the little lifeform curiously, he watched as it moved around and grasped onto his shoulder, his head tilting a little as it let go. Slowly sitting up, he stared down at the tiny creature as he reached his claws out a little bit, “Friend…? That…sounds nice”, he spoke, smiling a little, “I do like having friends…”

Yumi had only begun to let out her anger unto the creature, she wasn't satisfied yet. Not until it was dead, only then would she relent and stop attacking it. Her plan to draw attention away from Viral seemed to be working, not that she was in the state of mind to even recognize that. All that raced through her thoughts right now was killing her opponent by any means necessary. Her few attacks and taunts did the trick, soon the massive creature was coming after her, his size towering over her several fold. She hardly cared how large it was, she knew it could be hurt and, with enough effort, slain. When it was close enough to strike at she lunged forward, diving up with a bit of assistance from her flight and going straight for the creature's throat. A large fist came flying her way, and while it hit her she managed to soften the blow a bit, clinging onto the limb then as it swung through the air. Wanting to find a way to inflict pain she stretched out her fingers, using her sharp nails as a substitute for a blade and driving her hand into the exposed flesh of the beast, managing to get almost her whole hand into its skin. That made it roar again in pain, and she took the moment to climb onto the arm, racing up it and gathering a mass of Ki in her hands. Ducking beneath the other hand she jumped up into its face, bringing her hands together and making one massive Ki blast before tossing it at the creature, hitting it directly. Again she was blasted back herself, though she had the mind this time to cover up, managing to stay in the air

"You... You insect!" That blast had been particularly painful, right in the face no less. Covering its wounds again with its hands the creature stumbled about blindly, letting out occasional groans of pain. Its skin felt like it was on fire, and breathing was a little tricky as its lungs were feeling the effects of inhaling burning energy. Finally pulling its hands from its head the creature looked around, its vision blurry from one eye now being swollen shut as a result of its burns. Growling angrily it looked around the area, trying to spot out the female that had done it to him. Evidently it was going to have to do more than just smack them around, which was unfortunate. That would mean its temple was forfeit, but that could be repaired easily enough. Glowering at Yumi the creature stood tall, and after shaking its head to try and reduce some of the pain it opened its mouth, ignoring the searing sensation that came with his burnt flesh being stretched. Like the creature on the ship it began to gather a large amount of dark energy, forming an awfully big orb as it built up. Then, abruptly, it released all of it, firing a massive beam towards Yumi, and the door of the temple.

Yumi stared at the energy tentatively, getting ready to avoid it whenever it was fired. When it was indeed released it came a bit quicker than anticipated, though nonetheless she managed to leap and fly away, dodging the blast as it tore through the temple, ultimately blowing apart the door and the front of it. Now sunlight was all but coating the entire interior, and they were more or less outside. With no support in front the rocks above gave way, and with a great crash began to come down, slamming into the side of the structure and tumbling down the mountain in one hell of an avalanche. Between Yumi's and the creature's blasts the temple was all but obliterated, the sides and back being the only remnants. Turning her focus away from the ruined building around her the Beastman went back on the offensive, throwing yet more Ki in the creature's direction. These attacks were blocked by its arm guards, chipping some away but making no real mark. Yumi's intent wasn't to cause damage however as she flew past the leviathan, going right to where Viral still lay. Landing at his side she got back on all fours, a little relieved to see his eyes open, even if only barely. "Up... Get up..." she said, half growling and half speaking clearly. "You're hurt Viral... Move... Please..."

It was a good thing everyone was safe, apart from the episode towards the end there. For the most part it had all worked out, the only way it would have gone better would have been if they had slain the second monster as well. "Huh...? Oh yeah, I'm fine," Takeshi said, smiling at Shu as he placed an arm across his stomach, his hand resting on his side gingerly. Beneath the shirt his skin was a little torn, a result of the creature's abrasive skin rubbing against him and it managing to get a swipe in. It felt like it was bleeding too, but hardly anything worth calling attention to. He didn't know quite what they should do just yet, figuring that going back to the ship was only going to put them in an awkward situation with the rebels. Shrugging his shoulders then Takeshi looked over at T'charrl and Tesuga, smiling thoughtfully. "We could just relax here for now. You've got a new little friend that might want to play after all."

Tesuga wanted his friends to be happy, after all he was happy. Doing his best to show some gratitude and affection then towards T'charrl, hoping to cheer him up some more. He wasn't sure if it did the trick entirely, but the alien picked himself up after a moment and smiled, which was sign enough he was feeling at least a little better. "Yes, friend, friend! My friend, save me. Friends now!" So many friends today, it was turning out to be a very good day for him. Now that he wasn't going to get eaten too everything was just going his way and it had him absolutely elated. Seeing the cart nearby Tesuga went over to the remaining food, grabbing up one of the larger fruits in his arms before bringing it back over, holding it up as high as he could for T'charrl to take. "Eat friend! Please? Make happy!"

Viral was hardly recognising what was happening with his mind in a daze, his mental stability probably having been flung elsewhere when he hit the ground. Hearing the battle rage on, he kept his head on the ground as everything just got truly chaotic with Yumi managing to cause more damage to the creature than he ever could, even with Enki. He was truly rusty, he couldn’t fight like he used to despite truly trying that time. As he slowly looked towards his broken Enki, the sounds of battle were gradually drowned out as his mind gradually shifted away again into black. He needed to get up again, he couldn’t let all the fluid drain out of his brain.

With a few more shouts, roars and powerful attacks, the mass of energy the creature managed to gather was let loose and immediately destroyed the massive temple, sending debris everywhere and causing the entire landscape and everything around it to crumble. The blast caused Viral to be momentarily blown up from his spot, rolling over his already damaged shoulder but managing to wake him up somewhat. It was like a sharp pain that made him wake back up again, his eyes opening again but he was still a bit dazed. With Yumi going straight back to him, he stared out blankly as she tried to speak to him with him responding a moment later, his gaze becoming directed up to her before he let out a groan, trying to get up on one hand with his other acting pretty useless, “I’m…up…” he grumbled, finding it difficult when his arm was completely out of its socket and his head swirling, “Get my arm…back in…”

Shu tilted his head a little at the sight of Takeshi shifting his hand, trying to see if there was a wound there or not. It was a scratch, it shouldn’t hurt too much later on and Shu knew how scratches felt so the most it could be was uncomfortable. Smiling a little, he moved a bit closer to Takeshi as he stared up at him, “That’s good, it would be bad if you couldn’t fight”, he nodded, looking over him curiously, “How did you fight them? Did you do what you usually do? Was it hard? Maybe we can groom…?” Feeling all sorts of curious over what had happened, he looked to the little creature seeing him with T’charrl, giving his head a little shake, “I think he wants to play with friend T’charrl, so it’s just you and me”, he smiled, reaching his hands over to him slowly, “But maybe…maybe we can groom each other?”

T’charrl didn’t really know what to make of the little creature other than that it was strange but also quite nice. The kid didn’t seem to mind what he was too much even if he was a different alien from the others, not to mention multi-limbed compared to everything else they had encountered; it must be weird not having four arms, just how did they get anything done anyway. Staring down at the little creature, he watched as it rushed off again, curious to where it was going before it grabbed some more food, offering it to T’charrl. It felt like a peace offering to him, a sign of gratitude for what he did, “Uhhh, thank you. I hope there’s plenty food elsewhere too”, he spoke, taking the fruit from the creature and began to chomp down on it. He always felt hungry when there was food around, the energy certainly giving him a good boost too. He did wonder whether the others were taking care of the god creature alright, it would be very awkward if nobody could actually kill it despite them claiming they could. He wouldn’t know what to do after that, but he did hope the others had a plan if it was proving to be difficult.

Yumi, normally tender and at least somewhat patient with Viral was now struggling not to scream at him to get moving. Noting the dislocated limb when he mentioned it she wasn't at all pleased with the sight. Not so much because she was worried about her friend's pain, but because he was going to make fighting harder for her. So when he told her to pop it back into place she was more than willing to oblige. Holding him steady with one hand she grabbed hold of his shoulder, and with a focused look on her face carefully popped it right back in, using a fair bit of pressure to do so. When it was settled she let go of Viral, turning around and squatting, staring up at the creature as he was still trying to deal with his inhibited sight to find them. "Hide... Or fight... Don't sit there," she snarled, straining to keep animosity out of her voice. "Help me kill it... Fix your machine..." Talking was a waste of time as long as the creature was standing. With Viral seen to she began to run on all fours again towards the lumbering giant, snarling angrily as she approached. Seeing him raise a foot as if to squash her she jumped into the air, grabbing hold of it and using it as a platform to spring up further, landing at its waist. Again she made use of her hands as weapons, this time though making as big a gash as she could on its abdomen with her hands by leaping up and dragging them down along its skin. It was enough to irritate the beast, and again she had to leap away to avoid being grabbed.

Dealing with Viral was easy, he was fairly helpless once in the air. Yumi was another thing however with her ability to fly, it made grabbing her a great deal more difficult. Missing a swipe in the air he turned again on his feet, firing off a succession of weaker yet faster shots to try and knock her out of the sky. One missed, then a second and third, but the fourth managed to find its target. Watching as the female was sent to the grounds as a result the creature made a quick pace over towards her, not wanting to give her a single moment to recuperate. Reaching down he managed to grab a hold of the dazed Beastman, crapping his massive hand around her as he lifted her up to eye level, smiling smugly. Not wasting any breath in taunting he curled his other hand around the first, beginning to squeeze the girl in his grasp. At first she only snarled and snapped at him, but soon those noises changed to faint whimpers, and ultimately screams of pain as she tried to keep her body from giving in under the immense weight. This seemed a fitting end for her, and once she was gone it would be the creatures leisure to deal with Viral.

"Heh... Please, it'll take more than this to stop me from fighting," Takeshi said, smirking a bit as he moved his hand. He was going to go on until Shu said something that made him stop for a second before frowning, his cheeks flushing a little bit. "What do you mean 'What I usually do'? What's that supposed to mean?" How did he usually fight? Maybe he was a little eager to get into things, but that wasn't really bad, was it? "It wasn't too hard, I guess," he continued, getting a little smile back. "They're hard to catch though, and their skin is really tough. I had to use my sword just to hurt them, my punches and Ki didn't do anything at all." Except for cause discomfort and annoyance on his part. It was pretty lucky he just happened to have that blade with him too, otherwise he would have just been uselessly flailing about the whole time trying to find a weakness that didn't exist.

Takeshi had no issues with doing something with Shu, he was always quite happy to spend time with his brother. That was at least until the younger boy voiced his idea, grooming. It had never exactly been something that appealed to the older boy too much. Quite the opposite, he'd often found it strange and off-putting even. However, seeing Shu standing there looking all hopeful at the prospect, and his side pretty sore right now he couldn't think of much else to do. Letting out a soft sigh then Takeshi nodded his head, sitting down cross-legged before Shu and smiling up at him exasperatedly. "I guess we can do that, if you really want to," he replied, shrugging his shoulders before holding a hand out. "But, don't expect me to eat anything I might find. And... Er... Please don't eat anything you find on me..." He doubted there would be anything on either of them after all, they had just recently showered and weren't exactly rolling around in filth here.

"Food other place! We get more, yes! Mama and papa find later!" Tesuga said, smiling brightly as he clapped his claws together. Seeing T'charrl eat the food and appear to like it made him very happy, it meant his friend liked the same kind of foods. Making a happy squeal sound the alien moved closer, hugging the Kaesstrian's leg for a moment before wrinkling his nose and backing off. Looking up for a second he then sneezed, becoming unbalanced in the process and tumbling over. Giggling happily Tesuga carefully adjusted himself, getting back onto his feet and rubbing at his snout. "Friend make Tesuga sneeze! Sneezy friend!" he chimed, dancing a little on his feet. When the sniffling sensation subsided he went over to T'charrl again, minding his snout as he tried to grab at one of the visitor's hands. "Play? Or more food? Have more, eat! We eat too!" He was just rather hopeful to do something with one of his friends, only rarely getting to play with other children.

Viral didn’t like how he was being handled by Yumi, nor did he like the energy that was coming from her. It was aggressive and she was obviously fed up with him; if that was the case, she should have just left him on the floor. Lifting up his useless arm, he looked to her through his weary eyes only for her to snatch his arm out of his grip and force it straight into the joint again. It was a pure pain that was running through his body at that point, probably the worst he had felt in a long time and she was hardly the least bit patient with it, the whole procedure almost feeling like pure hatred it was that utterly painful. Holding onto his arm painfully as if his whole life was passing before his eyes, he struggled to make sense of everything only for Yumi to demand orders from him aggressively.

Looking to her for a moment, soon enough she was off, running all stupidly towards it like the little monkey boy. So it was his turn to once again become the secondary force in all of this with her taking over the role and apparently doing a better job at it seeing as how the temple had been destroyed. Stumbling over to Enki, he stared over it before deciding to simply try and get into it again. The pain in his arm was not going away, it continued to run through him and still made moving his arm almost impossible. She was just more concerned with having him up and running again over his well-being during what was supposed to be a delicate procedure, not one horribly quick.

Finding the time to gradually get into his Enki, the interior was somewhat broken but still functioning as he climbed into the sideways cockpit and slid into the seat, unfortunately his arm facing towards the ground. With a urgency to move, he grabbed hold of the control with one arm and rolled Enki over, only one of its eyes coming online as the cockpit closed up again. Like Viral’s arm, one of them was badly shredded and barely hanging on, the cables and bars barely managing to keep a hold of it. He couldn’t fix Enki, he shouldn’t even be controlling it with how badly damaged it had become. Growling lowly, he watched as Yumi put up a fight only to end up getting caught out, the great beast grabbing hold of her and trying to crush her. There wasn’t much he could do, Enki was so badly damaged that it was a matter of whether it could survive another attack. Trying anyway, he soon used the extra sunlight to charge up a sunbeam, the solar power gathering before it suddenly exploded from the circlet straight for the beast, causing Enki to stumble at the lack of control in the attack.

Shu gave Takeshi a little nod, smiling a bit before he pulled back slightly, pressing his fingers together, “Well, you know…get really mad…?” he spoke, frowning a little, “You do it a lot so I thought you’d do it again and that is how you win at things”. Not meaning anything bad by it he decided to hop back a little bit, letting out a sigh as he looked away for a moment only to squeak in surprise when Takeshi spoke up again. It was unusual for him to want to actually do that, Shu didn’t think he’d ever get Takeshi to do that. Looking to him, he tilted his head a little before frowning, giving a little nod at his orders, “Oooh, okay…I won’t”, he spoke, slowly shimmying around behind Takeshi before standing up a little more, shifting his hands through Takeshi’s hair and parting it in a typical grooming manner, “You never let me do this…”

T’charrl looked around towards the parents before giving a little nod, “I-If it’s okay with them…I hope”. Turning around again as he ate the fruit, he let out a sigh as he tried to keep himself calm, mellowing out a good deal while not even realising the little native had moved closer only to hug his leg. Looking down quickly, he tilted his head before jumping a little when it sneezed, frowning momentarily at the outcome, “Uhhh, sorry! I mean, I-I get kinda ‘flaky’ a lot. It’s not uncommon for my kind, I guess”, he spoke, feeling a little self-conscious over his dust. He was definitely dusting a lot more than he used to, perhaps due to all the stress he was feeling when it was just supposed to be mainly a defence mechanism. Letting out a sigh as he finished his food, he looked down when the little creature grabbed his hand, feeling a little confused, “Uhh, play? I-I think I’m a bit big for you”, he spoke, looking down at himself, “I’m practically a climbing frame to you…”

Yumi tried her best initially to keep herself from being crushed, running on pure instinct right now. Try as she might to push the hand open however she didn't have good enough leverage or room to get anything moving, she was more or less cut off. As the pressure gradually build up she could feel her body straining against the forces, doing everything in her power to keep from popping like a bug. Using Ki was helping a little, she managed to emit a bit of her energy around her almost like a second skin, managing to alleviate some of the giant's grip. There was still not enough room to get free however, and with each passing second the pain became worse. Miraculously nothing had broken, but it was still agonizing enough, feeling like one's own body was going to implode in on itself. Crying out in pain just as her chest felt like it might be crushed the beast abruptly loosened his grip, his hands retracting from her and letting her fall to the ground haplessly. Landing with a thud Yumi let out another pained whimper, breathing heavily as she tried to recover from the lack of oxygen as best she could. The crushing might be over but her body was still very much sore, she'd need a moment to get herself together again.

The creature might have been absolutely livid were it not in utter pain right now. It had been on the verge of slaying the female only to have Viral come back into the fray and deal a rather nasty blow. Hitting the less well protected back of the beast the Enki's attack had done more than just sear skin this time. Not only did it burn away fur, but flesh, creating a visible and rather painful wound just beneath the right shoulder blade. A dark gash of good size now sat exposed, blood freely dripping out and into the fur as well as onto the tiled ground. Roaring with an earth shattering volume the creature fell to one knee, going to try and cover the wound before thinking better of it, knowing there wasn't much it could do. It would heal, yet that would take some time, and certainly not during combat. Panting from the pain it looked over its shoulder at the tarnished Enki, eyes burning brightly with hatred for Viral right now. "You... You damned alien...!" it roared, turning itself around and trying to grab at the Beastman, only to nearly fall forward as it extended the wound more and caused blood to spill out. Gasping painfully the giant fell to its hands and knees, looking at Viral with a profound loathing all the same. "I'll kill both of you. I'm not giving you any more chances to escape!"

"But I... I don't get mad that often!" Takeshi said, sounding a little perturbed. Realizing he'd only just proven his brother's point he sighed, crossing his arms and looking off to the side stubbornly, pursing his lips. He had stayed calm through that entire fight, too frazzled and pretty clueless to have any time to get angry. Like it or not too his brother was right, he did get mad pretty often, and often times over silly things. Changing the subject to grooming of all things the older boy could hardly believe it himself when he agreed to the proposal. Chalking it up to being too indifferent at the moment he sat on the ground, waiting a bit nervously for Shu to do his thing. He couldn't see his brother now, but he could most certainly feel him. It was quite strange, feeling Shu's little hands digging through his hair and prodding at his scalp. Feeling his face heat up in embarrassment Takeshi looked down at the ground, his hands in his lap as he rubbed his thumbs together idly. "Well... First time for everything right?" he mused, managing a slight smile as he shifted his eyes back towards Shu. "Besides, I don't think you'll find anything. So what's the harm in it?"

"Mama and papa okay, yes?" Tesuga looked back at his parents for confirmation, getting encouraging looks from both of them. This trio of travelers was quite clearly friendly, so it didn't surprise him they were allowing this. Not that he'd had any issue being near them before it was okay anyways. Hearing T'charrl's reply to playing got him a little disheartened for a moment, having hoped they could play some games. The problem resolved itself with the last bit of what his friend said though, a smile creeping over the child's face. With an excited giggle he latched onto the Kaesstrian's leg, and being mindful of his claws began to shimmy his way up the alien's leg, trying to climb on him like a plant. He got about to T'charrl's knee before his father pulled him off, whining in annoyance while flailing a bit. "Papa no! Play! Climb!" Being set on his feet he let out a huff, crossing his arms and dropping down onto his backside stubbornly.

The father set his son down, smiling exasperatedly when he started to pout and sulk. "Sorry, very friendly. Like anyone, friends a lot." he explained, giving Tesuga's head a small rubbing before looking up at T'charrl. "Thank again, can't thank more. Food? Anything? Repay, yes? Owe sons life, debt to you." In a society where people were awfully close and worked with one another it was a social standard to repay those who helped you. Often it was just helping to find food, or make an addition to a home, minor things. Saving the life of a loved one though, that was on an entirely different spectrum. Nothing that he could think of as a reward seemed adequate enough. "Anything want? We find, or make, just say."

The blast was very strong, the situation allowing a moment of irrational thinking when it came to sussing out if he could manage the blast and unfortunately, it had proven to be too much for him to handle. The Enki stumbled backwards upon firing the blast, just one foot digging into the ground as the metal of his mech twisted at the pressure. The attack had done its damage; he had managed to create a fairly horrible looking wound and the creature was on the ropes, but then again so was he. After the massive attack he managed to pull off, he stumbled back until his mech was down in a sitting position once more his arm momentarily grabbing the damaged one as if he had done that in his mech all before leaning on his hand. Yumi shouldn’t have been so rough on his arm, they had time to correct the bone before the creature came in and she was no medic.

Viral couldn’t do much, he wouldn’t be able to lift his blades and he certainly couldn’t run at the creature with confidence running high and his intent to kill it being completely positive. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do now after that, it still wasn’t enough to kill it despite how much power was put into it. He was ready to give up, he had proven useless and was a pushover in combat with even Yumi losing confidence in his abilities. Staring up at the massive creature with little hope for surviving, he growled lowly through the pain as his eyes searched for a way out.

Yumi was at a reasonable distance now, she wasn’t going to be put in any danger and was given her moment to recover. Feeling fairly ready to forfeit his life out of shame, something managed to catch his eyes and pull his attention upwards. The rocky formations were still there, the mountain was still standing and looking fair ready to collapse with one solid hit. Even if it meant it might fall on top of him, he would still manage to take out this creature before anything horrendous happened, “…You’re right about one thing; you’ve not given me a chance to escape”, he spoke, straining to sit up, “But if I’m going down, you’re coming with me!” With a quick charge up and a brief moment to angle himself, he fired another massive beam but this time aiming for the mountain side that towered over them, triggering a huge landslide that would crush anything in its path.

Shu was pretty happy right now, letting him groom his brother was a massive step towards getting close to him and treating him like proper family; shame Takeshi didn’t like it much. He was pretty happy to be doing this, Takeshi was even letting him do it without any wriggling around or any chance of moving away in annoyance. Yumi had let him do this before, she seemed a lot more open to it but overall it was weird to Takeshi to let him do it. Feeling pretty content, he hummed a little as he shifted Takeshi’s hair, looking over when he spoke, “Maybe, sometimes I don’t find anythi-oooohh a bug!” he squeaked, moving away from Takeshi with a brief bounce and eating the bug without a second thought.

T’charrl watched the strange little alien, wondering what he was wanting from him or what he expected to happen. It wasn’t a case of T’charrl not wanting to let the kid have his fun, but rather not knowing how a little kid had fun in the first place. While he had interacted with Shu before, he wasn’t a little kid like this guy so it was difficult to try and understand its situation or what its play was about. He hadn’t interacted with other kids when he was little, so he had no experience on the matter. Watching as the child started to climb up his leg, he tilted his head before the kid was pulled off by the parent, his eyes going to him curiously. He didn’t mind it, he was more curious to where the kid was going with it. Staring at the father, he tilted his head a little before giving it a shake, “Ohh uhh, I don’t mind”, he spoke, shifting his hands a little, “I-I don’t really mind anything, honest…uhh, well, maybe there’s one thing, perhaps”. Pressing his fingers together he gave Takeshi and Shu a quick look, his eyes soon going straight back to the father, “Maybe…something to take back with me that will last? It would be nice if I had more than memories to take back home with me, maybe something to show my own mother back home…”

Viral's massive blast had done quite a number on the creature, all but incapacitating it. Bleeding fair heavily from a vital spot it would either have to finish the battle now or flee, and running wasn't very tasteful. With its temple destroyed already there was little reason to hold back any longer, yet summing up the strength to extinguish these pests was proving difficult. More than trying to focus its power into attacks the creature instead was trying to mend its wounds, using energy to close it up quicker. While it worked it only did marginally so, enough to stop the bleeding from becoming fatal at least. Still ragged of breath and in a fair bit of agony there wasn't a whole lot it would do otherwise. Both it and Viral looked to be out of it, getting to a race as to who would die first at this rate. The creature had absolutely no intentions of winning that race. "What... What are you planning?" it asked, giving the Beastman an uneasy look. That sounded awfully suicidal, nothing was worse than fighting an opponent willing to die. Expecting another blast when the crest on Enki lit up the creature blocked, confused instead when the shot missed entirely. Thinking it was a fluke at first the true intent soon became obvious as rocks began to crumble, the entire peak of the mountain crying out in protest as it began to give way. So this was what Viral had meant, he intended to bury them both alive! "I'll not allow you to do this!" the creature roared, lifting its head up and gathering energy in its mouth. With a mass of rubble coming down it fired off a strong beam, disintegrating a large portion of it. More came however, and continued to come, each wave it tried to meet with an attack to protect itself.

The shattering of a mountain was enough to rouse Yumi, and the sight she was greeted with put her on high alert immediately. Danger was an understatement, they were waiting to die just sitting here. The creature looked to be preoccupied, which meant they could escape now and leave it here. Not the most satisfying end, but it was better than them dying. Hardly having the rage-fueled strength as she did a moment ago she got to her feet, groaning at how sore her body was from being compacted. Running to Viral nevertheless she looked at the hatch of the Enki, and with a soft apology opened it right up. They had to go, there was no room for debate, not that she'd hear it anyways. Grabbing Viral carefully by both arms, not knowing one was dislocated, she lifted him up and out, slinging one of his arms over her shoulders as she held his side. Using her Ki yet again she shot off of the ground, flying away from the ruined temple and towards an adjacent cliff face where they would be well out of the way of the rock slide. After nearly collapsing when she sat her friend down Yumi looked back, seeing the creature still trying to handle damage control. They might have a way to end this now, if they could pull it off. As drained as she was though, and seeing the state Viral was in, they only could try this once. Leaning over with her hands on her knees she smiled tightly, trying to stave off the oncoming exhaustion. "Hey... Know what might really ruin his day...?" she asked, looking over at Viral impishly, "If we blasted him right now."

Takeshi was trying with every fiber of his being not to pull away from Shu right now. Grooming in the sense he knew it was fine, like taking a shower or even combing or brushing your hair. That was normal, people did that. What his brother was doing was just plain weird. Having someone meticulously plucking at his scalp like this just felt awkward, he couldn't understand why Shu enjoyed it so much. It wasn't even like he was the one being groomed, and yet he was elated nevertheless. As peculiar as the entire situation was it paled in comparison to what happened when the young Saiyan found a... Treat. At first Takeshi tried to pretend he didn't hear Shu, wanting to think he was being fresh. However when the young boy bounced off he had to turn to look, eyes widening spotting a black critter in Shu's grasp. When the little Saiyan ate the bug then Takeshi turned a light shade of green, covering his mouth before leaping to his feet. "Y-You... Ate it...!" he stammered, lowering his hand and pointing at Shu amazed. Then, in a moment of recognition he looked up towards his hair, and with an unintelligible sound quickly frazzled his own hair, trying to knock free anything else that might be crawling around in there. When nothing came out he let out a sigh, dropping onto his backside and looking at Shu with a starry eyed, disbelieving expression. "You ate it... And you have no idea what it was..." As Saiyans they ate a ton of food, hardly ever thinking twice about what precisely it might be. But that, eating that alien bug, that was just nasty.

"Take home...? Present?" the father mused, lifting a claw to scratch at his head. So he wanted something to show off, like a trophy of sorts. Trophies, at least as far as their people were concerned, were typically confiscated weapons or relics that they acquired when defeating another group. Considering the nature of the relics though, being of their questionable god, he wasn't so sure this one would enjoy that. Smiling at an idea however the small creature nodded his head, disappearing into his den quickly for a moment. Inside he rummaged through the several small rooms, searching hastily for an item he figured would well be worthwhile. After some digging he managed to stumble across it, and fetching a small cloth he wrapped it up, carrying it back outside with him. Smiling up at T'charrl he walked on over, holding it up politely for the Kaesstrian to take it. "From battle, special. Unique, few. Expensive too. But you have, yours, earn it." Inside was a small charm of sorts, crafted out of a rare hard-stone found in very few places on the planet. Rectangular in shape, it had a few indentations carved into either side, symmetrical in that regard. A lighter shade of stone trim ran along the edges as well, a result of whittling down the rock until the darker surface had vanished. Along the middle were engravings, markings that read 'good fortune'. "Family treasure. Find many years ago, father's father. Give father, he good warrior. Give me, good life. Now you, good life too, yes?"

Viral had definitely put a lot into that blast, making use of his accuracy to get the debris to fall towards the creature. He didn’t care whether he would get crushed with the debris too, he was happy enough with ending his own life so long as he got to take out of his opponent. As the mountain gradually began to crumble, Viral grunted as he sat himself back again, barely a care to what might happen to him; however, the shifting of metal on the outside told him otherwise. Looking up as the hatch was forcefully opened up, he growled at first only to see Yumi who immediately moved forward and snatched him up and out of his spot. The fact that she grabbed him by the arms was just beyond painful to the point where he couldn’t even yell out against the action, it just feeling as bad when she took him under one arm and flew off with him.

Viral didn’t want any of this, it was completely over the top painful to experience and he would had just rather had been crushed at this rate. Trying to hold back any discomfort he was feeling, the moment he was dropped he stumbled on his seated spot from general pain. Feeling completely disorientated and in pain, when Yumi talked to him he barely seemed to take heed of what was said before he pushed away from her, grabbing his arm in pain, “You do it! I can’t…I can’t blast anything…” He was disappointed in himself, he was completely useless in the air and then that happens where he becomes practically useless as a warrior. Only reaching out his arm momentarily to grab the energy of his Enki, he let out a groan as he tried to shift his arm with little result.

Shu was fairly bouncy after finding the bug, finding Takeshi’s reaction to it being pretty funny when it was something that was completely normal for him. Squeaking a little when Takeshi expressed his disgust over it, he pulled back a little and pressed his fingers together, smiling a little bit, “Heeee…I did! I ate it and it was tasty bug”, he spoke, moving back towards Takeshi, giving him a look all over as if trying to see if there were any more bugs on him. He was fairly excitable just now, almost vibrating on the spot when he stopped in front of Takeshi, “Do you want to groom me…? I was in a hole! I fell down the hole, I got all dirty…I could use a clean”, he spoke, trying to get closer to Takeshi, “I would really like it if you groomed me…”

T’charrl gave a little nod, feeling nervous and a little guilty for asking. He hoped to collect all sorts of gifts for his mother, just something from one planet each and take them all back home for her. Smiling a little, he nodded before watching the creature retreat away, tilting his head a little as he stared at the den. The guy wasn’t away for too long, but in that time he did hear all sorts of rummaging around looking for that special something. Watching as he came back again, T’charrl stared at the cloth curiously before taking it, slowly unwrapping it to see what was inside. He had a sudden moment of excitement when he saw what it was, despite how primitive it was in shape and size. It was very interesting, the carvings delicate and baring an interesting sort of language. Looking back to the man his antennae twitched a little upon hearing what it meant to the alien, his eyes going back to it, “Really…? And you’re giving this to me? You sure? I-I don’t want to be taking something from you that means a lot to you…”
