Not a single person was pleased with Mizuna's outburst, least of all Viral. His anger was totally justified, she was attacking him for no reason and act like she knew his troubles. Just as well that the woman should leave, lest she end up in a fight she couldn't win. Yumi wasn't even slightly worried she wouldn't be able to take the Saiyan if it came down to a brawl, it wouldn't even be a contest between them. Glowering at her retreating figure right up until it disappeared from view she returned back to her friend's side, settling down a little for his sake. When he began to literally shovel down handfuls of the fish however Yumi's eyes widened, and after a moment she moved the plate away from her friend's reach. Most if it was gone at this point, it had been quite the helping of food he'd just taken. Looking at the plate in disbelief she let out a sigh, sitting down and looking at Viral concerned. "No one but that... Jerk... Thought of you like that. You don't have anything to prove to her, you're better than she is," Yumi reaffirmed, reaching out and putting her hand on one of Viral's. "Maybe we should call it a meal there, eating all that at once probably filled you up." Hearing him cough she reached out, patting his lower back to try and free up any blockage. "Easy, swallow it."

Vegeta would very much have liked to do what Yumi had done, but instead left it to her to see the woman off. Some ungrateful wench she was turning out to be, after they had saved her and offered to find her a new home. Just as well, now they could dump her on some barren rock in good conscience if this was how she was going to behave. After Yumi had tore her one Takeshi stormed off, presumably seeking to do the very same now. That couldn't be good if he ended up snapping, but frankly Vegeta found himself hard pressed to care right now. Instead he was more focused on Viral, certainly hearing him choke a bit. Yumi quickly remedied that, so he relaxed a bit and rose up out of his seat. "She's right, what that woman says has no weight behind it. She's a bitter soldier being forced to play by someone else's rules, she's just lashing out. Don't waste your energy getting mad over her, she means nothing." It was pretty easy talking like that now that Kabocha had left the room with his father, otherwise it might be a bit awkward. Since the twins and their own father were cleaning up Vegeta opted to help them, starting to stack a few plates closest to them. Before wandering into the kitchen he looked back at Shu, smiling slightly and nodding his head towards the door. "You should go stop your brother before he does something he'll regret. Both of you, in case he gets mad and flips out."

Just who the hell did this lady think she was? Viral had a tough enough time as it was without someone berating him like that. They were just getting him to eat too, he might even have been feeling better if things had kept going as they were. Now though he was upset, all because some wench just had to open her mouth. Yumi might have given her a small reaming before letting her go but Takeshi wasn't content with that. Storming off after Mizuna he all but ignored Kabocha and his father, passing right on by them and heading the opposite way after his friend's mother. She hadn't gotten terribly far by the time he caught up, finding her staring out one of the windows and leaned against the wall. Marching right up to her he glowered furiously, staring right at her face as she finally took notice of him. "What the hell was that about lady? Huh? Why did you do that?"

Mizuna had walked off to clear her head, finding the children much too infuriating to be around. What a sham this little rebellion was, it would only end in failure. No one could beat Yamate, and now that she had been taken away, unwillingly, she would be killed with the rest of them. No wonder she wasn't pleased with the current situation at all, her life had been made forfeit, and not by her own choice. At the sound of one of the Princes speaking to her she turned her head, smiling bitterly as she was addressed. "What? My pointing out the Commander is useless?" Laughing lightly she pushed herself away from the wall, looking at Takeshi curiously as she folded her arms across her chest. "Come on young Prince, you know it's true. The man has been injured or incapacitated the entire time we've been here, and he keeps getting hurt. What good is a warrior who does that? And one that can't even eat to boot. He's a weight that's slowing us down. If any of you had any sense you'd just kill him and-"

Takeshi was bristling angrily long before Mizuna had even finished speaking, and her last few words set him over the edge. While he wasn't going to fight her he had to make her stop, it was driving him crazy hearing her belittle Viral's name. Moving forward at a blinding speed he grabbed the woman by the shirt, pinning her against the wall as she glared at her, using his free hand to grab one arm and give it a twist. "Viral's been through hell and back, and he's recovering. No one is invincible, and that includes him, everyone has a breaking point! If you're going to keep crapping on him like that then we'll just dump you on some world and forget about you, how does that sound?"

"Hah... Almost preferable honestly..." Mizuna winced as her arm was contorted, though strained to keep smiling in spite of the pain. "And here you and your brother are... Yamate's sons... Gallivanting around as heroes and trying to fight your father. You can't win... You must know that. No one can beat him and his Elites, not you, not Korian. You were better off serving him."

"Like hell I was! He tortured my friend and hurt my brother!" That had come out in a rather loud scream, probably loud enough to be heard back in the dining room. "I'd sooner die than let anyone end up in his control again, got that? My father can be beaten, and we will beat him! We're not going to let him hurt anyone else no matter what, and that's a promise!"

Viral didn’t need people like that telling him how to feel or what was wrong with him, he wasn’t a coward or meek. He could do it, he could do what everyone else could and it was only food, so what if it came with horrific memories from a long time passed. He could take it, he was not a coward; however, choking on his food was not part of being brave. He panicked completely, it was all too much for just one moment of anger against an arrogant Saiyan. Struggling to breathe through the sudden breakdown and all of the food in his mouth, he covered his mouth with his paw and gasped through all the food, Yumi’s patting not entirely helping other than making him worry about his image.

Finally managing to swallow his food, he coughed hard and leaned forward slightly, shaking slightly before rubbing his head. He definitely didn’t feel good after that and luckily for them he didn’t puke. He sure showed them he could do it, even if it was causing all sorts of feelings inside him that made him feel pretty unwell. Slowly resting his head on the table, he let out a groan before he slowly looked towards Vegeta, feeling a little unfocused. That woman had just a big of a say as the others had and if she thought that then he had to prove to her that she was wrong; shame that she was gone, though. Letting out a groan, he slowly looked towards the fish, “…Who…says she doesn’t? I’m supposed to be strong! Not…defeated by…food…” he growled, pushing at the table to try and get up but not having much luck with it, “I am supposed to be strong! I am not a coward!”

Shu looked between Vegeta and Viral, feeling a little conflicted to what he was supposed to do. He wanted to stay around but he also wanted to go to his brother and see what was being discussed, his eyes quickly going to T’charrl before he let out a squeak when Vegeta looked to him and giving him a brief order of sorts, “Ooh? O-Okay…” he spoke quickly, looking to T’charrl again and pulling at his claw, “Lets go!” Almost pulling him along, he exited the place before looking up and down the corridor, moving on along after Takeshi’s trail before he made a halt when Takeshi suddenly screamed at the woman. That was definitely not in the right direction when it came to interacting and trying to calm everyone down. Feeling a little embarrassed, he looked up to T’charrl who was giving them a good stare, probably feeling confused all the same, “Umm…T-Takeshi?” he asked up, looking back in his direction, “Maybe, umm…be less shouty and more calming down…?”

"You haven't eaten in a while, anyone would be sick if they ate so much after more or less starving themselves." They had perhaps pushed Viral a touch too far with getting a meal, or that woman had anyways. At least the Beastman looked to be fine, if not a little queasy after ingesting so much fish. Provided he could hold it though he ought to feel much better now that his body had some real nutrients to work with. Vegeta had watched Takeshi leave, and after urging both Shu and T'charrl to give chase he turned his focus back over to Viral. "You are strong, and you're not a coward. The only person who thinks that here is a woman whose opinion has no weight. Judging by what we gathered she's low class, weaker than any of us by a long shot. Since when do the equivalent of common fighters get to determine your worth as a warrior?" It wasn't like Mizuna was a prized warrior, she'd essentially been a grunt according to Kabocha. A fairly good grunt, but a grunt nonetheless. It wasn't anything to be overly proud of, in the Saiyan army that probably equated to cannon fodder. Gathering his dishes together Vegeta went off to the kitchen to help out, leaving Viral alone with Yumi.

Slapping the woman had felt pretty good, but in reality it solved nothing. Someone who fought for a living wasn't going to be deterred by a simple slap, she'd be at it again in no time. What did she think she was doing though, insulting Viral like that? Even for a Saiyan she considered that pretty scummy of someone to do. With everyone else gone she turned back to Viral, moving the remaining plates away to hopefully help him relax a little. "Everyone except her thinks you're not a coward and a good fighter, don't let one sour apple get to you," she said, smiling as she got up out of her chair. "After all that food and excitement you must be feeling a little tired I'd bet, I know I am. How about we head to the lounge or something and relax? I doubt they have television on this ship... But we can probably find something to do." Leaving him alone right now didn't seem like the best idea. Of course, were he to demand being left alone she may be a bit lenient, seeing as he didn't come across as particularly depressed right now, just angry.

"Oh... You're such a child! Promising to protect people, how cute." Mizuna sneered as her arm was released, lifting her head slightly as she was jerked and the grip on her shirt tightened. "After all you've seen you honestly think you can protect people? After what happened to your friends you think you're able to protect them? How naive..."

Takeshi was gritting his teeth furiously, lifting a fist and more than ready to sock this woman for being such a pain. Shu's interruption promptly stopped him, though it did nothing to simmer his anger. Looking at his brother and T'charrl for a second he scowled, releasing Mizuna and pushing her away a bit. She was going to get off after riling Viral up, and what she had just said. Seriously, how much of an ingrate could one person be towards their saviors? "Fine... I'll be less... Shouty..." he seethed, not taking his eyes off of Mizuna. "You should just go to your husband lady, we don't want you here with us. Do everyone a favor and just go away."

"I'd love to leave if I could, but I'm not being left on this dead end planet. I'll come with you to your world and stay there, if it's up to snuff." Smiling smugly she turned and left, leaving a fuming Takeshi behind. All of these kids, they were so stupid. There was no way they could win this war, not against the Saiyans and their collective might. And to protect one another, it was an empty desire. They were all going to be killed, it wasn't a matter of if, but when. First Kabocha had to get mixed up with these turncoats and now she was in on it too. She hadn't been saved, she'd been condemned, and hell if she was going to be grateful for that.

Takeshi couldn't be nearly as critical now that Shu was there, and certainly not hitting people. As soon as Mizuna started to walk off he turned away from the woman, trying to put her infuriating comments out of mind already. "Right... Sorry about that..." he grumbled, sighing as he rubbed at his neck. There was just going to be barrels of fun with her, he could already feel it. Smiling tightly he moved over to Shu's side, slinging an arm around the younger boy's shoulders and arching an eyebrow curiously. "All done eating? We can go say goodbye to your friend now if you want to, since we'll probably be going soon." Workers had still been going about their tasks busily earlier, and they were probably already done if not close to it. Considering everyone had just eaten though the bulk of their group probably wanted to relax a little, which was fine. It gave them time to do what they wanted. Looking at T'charrl with a smile he gestured aimlessly over his shouder, "You can come too if you want, since they're your friends too."

Viral only gave one look towards the door when he heard Takeshi’s screaming, finding it only to be annoying when it made him sound like he was only shouting it so he could hear it. He didn’t know whether he would survive this whole trip back with these people, they were all going to end up killing him or sending him into spiralling madness. He just needed to calm down, he needed to try and get his head back together and get through the fact that he just devoured something in such a disgusting way. He was angry with himself for falling for such a tactic, it was obvious what they were doing and why it was such a stupid thing to fall for and now he was paying for it, his mental health suffering. With his head lowered and his body struggling to cope with the feeling of having food in it, he gave Yumi a momentary glance before he let out a groan as he tried to sit up again, “Low class…low class?? Seeing me as meek…how…” he muttered, feeling pretty terrible, “What does class have to do with opinion?? What…”

Viral definitely needed to be somewhere else other than here; he didn’t feel comfortable being in such a place where anybody could walk in and see how pathetic he was. He wanted to be somewhere else, he didn’t even know where he would go on the ship to escape the gaze of others. Slowly looking up again as Yumi began to shift everything away, he let out a groan and just slowly rubbed his head, his eyes remaining off Yumi. He didn’t know whether he wanted to go and relax, he wasn’t having a great time sleeping lately with everything becoming a nightmare with very realistic pain coming from the memories. Illusionary pain still felt very real, making sleep a particularly painful experience. Growling lowly, he slowly stood up, his hand going to his stomach a moment, “Just…take me somewhere else! Anywhere…I don’t want anybody bothering me…”

Shu didn’t want to grab his brother or try to hold him back from doing all of this, but it was definitely something he shouldn’t be allowed to do. It would be bad for his reputation to see him trying to backtalk and beat up a parent. Tilting his head a little, he frowned at what the woman was saying, his eyes going to Takeshi again as he slowly moved away from him. He wasn’t feeling comfortable at all, he was fairly bad tempered and Shu didn’t even want to get involved either. Grabbing hold of his tail, he gave it a squeeze as the woman made her leave, frowning a moment before letting out a squeak when Takeshi approached him. Letting go of his tail, he lowered his head before giving a nod, “I-I’d like to say goodbye to them…yes please”, he spoke, pressing his fingers together, “I want to find out if all the monsters are gone…so I’d like to do that…”

When it came to T’charrl reacting to the woman and Takeshi’s fighting, T’charrl didn’t really know what he was supposed to feel about it. The woman had been particularly mean and probably deserved it, but she looked pretty tough and it would be a bit silly if she didn’t react back to that viciously herself and all they’d end up with was damage to the ship. When the woman went away it was somewhat relieving, but Takeshi’s reputation would definitely be a little damaged after that. Staring down at the brothers, he quickly looked to Takeshi before giving a hesitant nod, “Uhhh sure! I mean, it’s not that I don’t want to, I just hope nothing’s happened since that god was destroyed”, he spoke quickly, “You don’t think there will be anything else to do in the meantime either, plus they were pleasant people…even though I only understood half of what they were saying…”

Yumi sighed under her breath, rubbing at her head as she tried to carefully pick her words. "Well... If she's low class then she can't really call someone stronger than her low class too, can she?" she pointed out, hefting her shoulders in a partial shrug."Don't you agree? It doesn't make sense, to say you're weak when she's weaker than you, it doesn't work like that. She's just jealous that after everything you've been through you're still superior to her, and she hates that." It may not be a total lie. Saiyans were awfully prideful beings, even the half-Saiyans displayed that. To a fullborn Saiyan like Mizuna having to take orders from someone not of their heritage must have been infuriating, and even more so if that person were somehow perceived as weak. However that lady saw it she was wrong, Viral wasn't weak, or a coward. Their opinions of the Beastman weren't to be swayed by some loudmouth wench, and his shouldn't be either. To help settle Viral's nerves it was probably best they go elsewhere, perhaps somewhere private where he could avoid further scrutiny. Yumi didn't quite know where to go at first, wanting to leave the decision up to Viral. He didn't seem to have any idea either, so the decision fell back to her. Watching as he rose up from his seat she tapped her chin thoughtfully, debating on the quietest place onboard. "Well... There's a small library type of room if I remember right, I doubt anyone but Vegeta will go in there. So what if we try that?"

It was always difficult to maintain any sort of anger when Shu was around. Seeing how adversely effected the younger boy was often made his mood change near instantly. Takeshi still found himself moderately angry however, though he did manage to reign it in enough to be pleasant towards the others. It hurt him seeing Shu so nervous, especially knowing he was causing it. His anger wasn't something he could well help, not easily. At least now he grew angry over harm befalling friends as opposed to it being pride driven, that was worth something, wasn't it? "Then we'll go do that, we've definitely got time to." The den which the natives lived in wasn't all that far off really, not now that they knew exactly where to find it. It might be a twenty minute round trip, depending on how long Shu wanted to stay. T'charrl too, seeing as he was included in this group of theirs. "You're not the only one that had trouble," Takeshi mused, chuckling lightly. "But yeah, this way we can make sure everything is okay too. Plus they might not know what happened, so at the very least we ought to tell them we won."

The natives had not known the visitors were victorious, and were elated when they showed up outside their den. Tesuga was incomprehensible in his speech, even more so than usual, absolutely giddy his new friends had survived. To the relief of the trio there had been no sightings of the Dural any longer. A quick envoy between villages told them the same thing, the beasts hadn't been spotted anywhere nearby at all. While not a complete certainty it did mean that the people were safe, and that was more than enough for them. The mother and father were both immensely grateful to the group, trying to offer yet more gifts in exchange for all of the help. Nothing they owned was quite of any actual value, all more or less simple tools and bits of food that may well spoil. Tesuga had a gift in mind however, something for Shu to take. Retreating into his den the young native brought out with him a small figurine, carved out of a light wood. It was crude, but it depicted a notable warrior of their people and was fairly important as far as a toy went. With the gifts came hugs for everyone and a multitude of thanks and best wishes, yet the gathering was a bit short for their liking. Other things called, such as Viral's need for care, and they couldn't well stay here much longer. As long as the greetings and thanks were the goodbyes were quick and brief, most likely leaving a few people less than satisfied. Chances were they'd return some day, maybe once everything was over. For the time being however this was it, and the group said their final farewells before flying back towards the ships, disappearing over the plateaus.

Upon their return they were greeted with a rather curious sight. Everything seemed in order except for the fact that a few of the rebels had gathered outside the ship. Not just any random collection either, but Korian, Sayomi, the siblings Sasha and Ricken, and Leto. Takeshi landed before T'charrl did, giving the group a confused look as he eased Shu off of his back. He wasn't sure why they had shown up or what it was they could possibly want. He'd figured that they were going to leave by now, they had finished packing up some time ago. The rebel leader noticed the group on their way back and started to come over, much to Takeshi's chagrin. "I thought you'd be gone by now. Let me guess... You want something from us."

"Yes, I wanted to first make sure you've everything you need for your trip home. Best find out now rather than halfway there." The look given to him then was one of skepticism, egging on for the rest of the matter. Korian smiled slightly amused, finding it funny that Takeshi was cynical of his motives. Deservingly so, he'd done some shady things before and he knew it. "And... If you'd be so kind as to ask Viral out here. I've not made things right with him yet, my apology before over the screen was hardly in order. I'd like to apologize in person, if he'll allow it. If not I'm sure there will be ample opportunity later."

That was a little bit unexpected, Takeshi figured they were going to be asked for help. Instead Korian wanted to speak with Viral, the one man he was sure he loathed the most outside of the Saiyan military. No harm could come of it, he figured, since there were more than enough people around to stop the Commander should he try anything. Shrugging his shoulders he turned on his scouter, not taking his eyes from Korian as he spoke. "Viral...? Still awake? Korian wants to talk to you, outside. Wants to apologize, I don't know if you want to come out for that or not."

Viral was definitely unfocused, probably because he couldn’t get every single bad thought out of his head and he was just having a hard time getting through it all without having a soldier call him meek. He wasn’t sure whether he was going to end up going through the ship and trying to find this woman and tearing her face off, or whether he might actually follow along with Yumi’s plan and go and rest up. He was a little too woozy to go after the woman, he probably would have been better trying to rest for now. Feeling pretty terrible, he turned to Yumi, letting out a groan as he slowly moved towards the door, holding his arm, “…Library…and since when did Saiyans ever read…” he mumbled, looking back at her, “And you’re never going to leave me alone, are you?”

The visit to the natives was particularly pleasant, giving them a fairly nice farewell for now until they meet again. Knowing that the monsters had all but disappeared was definitely the highlight of the visit; it had eased both Shu’s and T’charrl’s worries. T’charrl was worried that he wouldn’t had been able to keep his promise to the creatures and let them live free while Shu was worried that he would lose his friends, but in the end both of them came to the satisfying conclusion that they were going to be safe without such nasty worries. Shu getting a gift was definitely a highlight, it meant his friendship was defined with the passing of gifts with Shu’s gift being his friend’s freedom. Saying their goodbyes was particularly hard, Shu didn’t know whether he’d ever see them again and T’charrl had already been asked to come back again. However, after all of their farewells they went on back again, flying back to their ship and being met with a little gathering instead.

Waiting for them all to arrive back, Sayomi stood pretty impatiently with her foot shifting every so often while waiting for the others to return. She wanted to collect a few things before they left and whether Korian liked it, she was going to get it if for research purposes or for her own interests. She had already been denied before because of Korian, she didn’t need to stand for that again if she was going to get her way with the situation. As the trio arrived back finally, she looked to Korian a moment before straightening herself up a little, holding her computer close. She was going to grab T’charrl before he left, she just found it to be the perfect opportunity to get some samples from him before he left. She was always drawn to alien species in her research, so having one of the more mysterious standing in front of her, a mutant no less, she had to get something from him and investigate his species.

T’charrl wasn’t exactly what you would call ‘nervous’ upon seeing Sayomi, but rather curious and a little worried to what she might want to do. He did see her look at him directly for a little longer than she would look to the others. He should probably just see her and get it over and done with, maybe she might be able to help him with his predicament in the future since he was sure they remained in contact somehow. Speaking of contact, he should really try asking Vegeta about that connection to his parents so that he might be able to talk to them again to let them know he was okay. Letting out a sigh, he lowered his head a little before he quickly snapped back into reality, looking around quickly at the others and tapping his claws together.

Viral hadn’t so much as fallen asleep as he had dozed off, trapped inbetween consciousness and napping. He had been trying to stop himself from sleeping, it was such an awkward time and place to be sleeping in and he wasn’t very comfortable either, meaning if he was startled in his sleep he would probably hurt himself pretty badly. Slowly coming close to nodding off on the couch-like furniture, he gasped when a voice came through his scouter, almost forgetting he was still wearing the thing. Holding his arm a moment, he let out a groan as he tried to recall what Takeshi had just told him before thinking about what was said. Growling lowly, he slowly raised his claw to his scouter, holding it down awkwardly, “…What? Apologise?? That slimy disgusting monkey wants to talk to me…” he grunted, slowly rising up to his feet, “Does he have any idea what he did to me?? I’ll be sure to tear off his face the moment I get out there…”

"I... Don't think that's going to help anything... Don't you just want to bury the hatchet and move on?" A little hypocritical seeing as Takeshi wasn't quite in the forgiving mood himself. But he wasn't going to go as far as ripping someone's face off, just denying their requests was good enough for him. Hopefully the two, being Viral and Korian, could come to some kind of understanding. To say this would be their last meeting was a fool's wish, it was certain they'd cross paths yet again. Until this war was over he had a feeling they were more or less connected, whether anyone liked it or not. Smiling faintly as he shut off his scouter Takeshi sighed, rubbing at his head before looking at Korian. "Viral will be right out. I feel it's only fair to warn you, he's not your biggest fan at the moment. So I'd be very careful with my words, otherwise he might go nuts." They would come to Viral's defense, of course, but that also meant the other rebels would come to Korian's. Sayomi he could understand being there, and even Leto to a lesser degree. As to why Sasha and Ricken were present he could only guess, they were there for more manpower. Either Korian was expecting a fight or wanted to show some muscle to prevent one, either way it didn't seem like a simple going away party. Man... I'm really cynical with this guy...

Korian was hardly surprised to hear Viral thought unfavorably of him. He'd sentenced the man to death, it wasn't something that a few weeks, or probably years even was soon to forgive. It had all been a spur of the moment decision, something that he felt needed to be done. After all, should one person get away with an attack like that then some of his troops were liable to do the same, and no one wanted the rebels to be known for that. In retrospect, as it often is the case, it was a bad decision. Now they were paying for it with a split between groups that would be a miracle should it ever mend. At least if they were not traveling together he was certain they were still on the same side, so they need not worry about battling one another. "I'm not planning on aggravating him any further, I promise you. I've got the scars from the last time I angered him, I don't need to add any more to my collection." So now the waiting game started, since there was little to discuss until Viral got out here. Might as well make some small talk, however uncomfortable it might be. "Where are you boys going after this? Right home I imagine?"

"Yeah... It's the plan anyways. Viral needs some medical attention and... Well we're going to be busy." It wasn't any of Korian's business to know what they had in mind. Chances were Takeshi was going to his home with Shu and T'charrl, and there they might train a little bit. And clean, a lot of cleaning was probably going to need to be done. Yumi would most likely stay with Viral during his stay with Doctor Ikura, and Vegeta was either going to do the same or go back to Capsule Corp. As for Kai, Choi, Kabocha and their families... Finding them a place to live was probably a good idea. Shrugging his shoulders Takeshi folded his hands behind his head, looking off to the side as he yawned. "After that who knows? I think we're still fighting father and his men, but I don't know where we'll start. There's a ton else we want to or need to get done as well..."

"Do you boys intend on finding your mother while on Earth?!" Leto asked suddenly, speaking quite loudly as he looked between the Princes imploringly. "I've heard of your sad tale, you seek to meet your mother after a life without her! I can only imagine the woe you must feel, never having known a mother's embrace. Why... On Yulia we're brought up by our mother's, and they're the first to teach us to battle! My mother is the one who made me into the man I am today!" Yet again there were tears of joy, exaggerated as always. Sniffling Leto rubbed at his eyes, calming slightly when he became confused at Takeshi's dejected look.

"I don't know... I doubt we have time. Plus the Dragonballs were used, so we wouldn't be able to make a wish." More than a year in the making and they'd still yet to meet their mother. Current events may have made that desire fall to the wayside, but Leto's bringing it up reopened some wounds. They had met T'charrl's mother, and Kabocha's, even if she was a jerk. Not to mention the countless other aliens whose mothers they had met during their travels. Everyone but them had a mother it seemed, and that was pretty depressing. Hell, even Viral had a mother, and he hadn't been born from a lady! "We'll get around to finding her eventually... Probably..."

Leto didn't like that answer at all, he was looking for more optimism. Since Takeshi didn't sound overly hopeful he instead turned to Shu, smiling as he flexed while pointing at the younger boy. "Surely you wish to see your mother? I bet you'll search to the end of the world and back to find her, won't you?"

Viral didn’t want to talk to this guy, but everyone was probably insisting and it was probably Takeshi’s idea for him to talk to these people. He was definitely not happy with such a suggestion, he could do without such a demand. He was not able to put down the demand, he couldn’t think of a way out of it that wouldn’t end up getting people angry that he put down such an opportunity to get an apology out of Korian, especially Yumi. She would just call it a ‘step towards recovery’ or something like that, she would get mad if he didn’t go out there and see what he was going to say, “Don’t you be concerned with what I want! I’ll be out soon…” Feeling fairly angry, he turned around and immediately headed towards the door and out.

Sayomi gave Korian a quick look, staring at him for a moment before turning her head away again slowly. He was definitely really going to go through with this it seemed, something that didn’t really surprise her all that much considering he hated not getting his own way and having them all hate him because he was rash. She still didn’t really know what made Viral change into that thing and manage to cause so much damage, but whatever it was definitely managed to cause some impact. Letting out a sigh, she looked between all of them before towards Takeshi, staring at him and listening to his own plan. To her, going home wasn’t an ideal plan. If they all weren’t so stubborn then she would be able to develop a cure for Viral, seeing as how a Beastman shouldn’t be too different to any other person, not unless they had any other plan while on that planet.

Slowly losing interest, she sighed and went to her computer, giving her computer a looking at before feeling around her belt under her tail. She would probably wait until Viral was done with Korian and they were about ready to go before getting a hold of the Kaesstrian. If the kid was going to try and leave, she would follow after him until she got what she wanted. Hopefully their visit to the Earth wouldn’t be too long, she knew that if the King found out the Princes were nowhere to be found or spotted then he would assume they went back to Earth. There was definitely some concern towards that notion whether they knew it or not, her eyes going back to Takeshi before giving Leto an annoyed glare as he spoke like an idiot again.

Letting out a sigh, she looked back to Takeshi and raised an eyebrow, feeling confused to what he even meant, “Dragonballs? Wish?” she questioned, not entirely sure what that was supposed to mean. Such words were definitely confusing, but having such hopes in finding the mother they never actually had was concerning. If their mother didn’t want her kids then that would be a pretty painful spike shoved into their hearts and from her experience, mothers who abandoned their kids never wanted to see them again. Frowning a little, she only gave Leto a quick glance before sighing, “I don’t know what it’s like on Earth, but mothers who go missing usually means a variety of things that will only end in disappointment. Are you sure you want to go through with it?”

Shu was fairly anticipating what might happen when they got to Earth, not knowing what their plan would be exactly. He knew he was going back and that Viral would get help, but for how long they would be there he had no idea. He didn’t know how far away Earth was or how long it might take, but knowing he was going there was fairly exciting. Looking to Sayomi when she spoke up, he tilted his head a little before squeaking when Leto approached him looking down at his finger. Staring for a moment, he looked up from his finger before giving a smile, “If Takeshi wants to then I want to”, he spoke quickly, nodding, “I want to see what mother was like!”

Before long, Viral emerged from the ship, looking a little startled at first before heading on down the ramp. He didn’t like how many people were there, but if there had to be all of them there then they were going to just have to play witness to everything. Glaring at Korian, he slowly looked down again at his path just incase he slipped up at a time like this. He couldn’t move his arm still, making him only half as strong if it turned out to be a plot. Slowly making his way over, he looked between the two groups, giving them a suspicious glare before looking to Korian, “Hmph, there you are…” he grumbled, trying to show at little difficulty as possible, “What were you wanting to tell me now…?”

Takeshi tried his best not to sigh, a little weary of Viral getting angry over every little thing. While he wasn't overly keen on speaking about their plans it was a nice change for the moment, not having to dwell on the inevitable cluster that would be Korian and Viral speaking. Intending on keeping their plans succinct and more importantly, away from the rebels, that quickly hit the fan when Leto dropped a bombshell on them. Finding their mothers wasn't something they were going to do for a long time yet, and no doubt they may end up finding them too little too late. It was a disheartening thought Takeshi didn't like to dwell on, but a very real possibility. "The Dragonballs are... These orbs that grant a wish when you use them. They can only be used once every year though, and they became useless after you use them... And Vegeta used them already..." So that was at least one thing they wouldn't be doing then. In a way he supposed it was okay, now wasn't really the time for a family reunion. Once everything was said and done then they could meet their mothers, and it would be the best way to finish off one hell of a long journey away from home. Frankly Takeshi couldn't fathom a better way to conclude this whole charade that was the war. Looking back at Sayomi he gave her a half-certain smile, nodding his head. He wanted to be positive about it, but the sadness in his eyes couldn't be hidden. "Of course we want to, we need to know if nothing else. It drives us crazy not knowing..."

Shu agreed, albeit it sounded like the only reason was because big brother wanted to. Takeshi hoped Shu would want to meet their mother too, after all he'd never met her either. Granted he had been brought up differently, in a way that he'd probably be separate from his mother at this point anyways. Even if he was okay with her not being around he had to be at least a little curious as to what she was like. Managing a smile he reached over and patted Shu's back, giving a nod in agreement. "We'll see what she is like Shu, because I bet she's waiting somewhere for us. Wherever she ended up when dad left we'll figure it out." Someone on the planet had to have some flipping idea where their mother might be after all. She had mothered two boys with a Saiyan king, and unless she gave birth in the middle of the woods someone would know what had happened. The only problem therein was finding someone who had been there when they had been born, or knew them when they were young.

The search for their mother was no doubt endearing, if not a little lost on Korian. Saiyans didn't normally have that kind of desire to be with a parent, and he was included amongst those numbers. Frankly he couldn't remember what his parents had been like anymore, and it didn't bother him one bit. They had been strong warriors, that much he knew, and they had gotten him into a special training program that lead to his being a Commander. Shy of that however his knowledge was nil in regards to his family. If it gave the boys something to work towards though then hey, who was he to question things? All conversation came to a stop when the ship's door began to pen yet again, and none other than Viral was standing at the top of the ramp. He didn't look like he was in a very good state right now, having an arm in a sling and moving fairly slow. Though he did seem a bit more awake than last time, albeit last time they'd seen him he had some nasty wounds. Still looked as much in a foul mood as ever, lovely. That was going to make apologizing so much easier.

Korian smiled politely as Viral approached him, doing his utmost not to give the wrong impression. He was biting his pride here by apologizing, but felt it was absolutely necessary for things to work in his favor. Sooner or later the climax of this war would come to pass, and he was positive that the Princes had to be there, one way or another. If that was to happen they couldn't be on these uneasy terms, certainly not because of some self-righteous rules of engagement that he tried to live by. "I wanted to apologize for before and make amends, if at all possible. The way I acted towards you after what happened was uncalled for and improper. I was foolish to get angry over something like that, we are fighting a war after all." It was idealistic to expect no violence in a war, and certainly impractical. Besides, he permitted the use of lethal force against those who were not willing to surrender, and there had been some nasty killings in that regard that he had never made people atone for. "Viral, I admit I was in the wrong and should never have tried to put any charges on you for what had happened. I now regret my actions and losing you as an ally. I don't expect you to simply forgive me for saying this, but just know that myself and the rest of the Rebellion do not label you as a monster or deviant, and what has happened has passed. We're not your enemy, I promise you that."

Sayomi was definitely a little confused, not really understanding what exactly the Dragonballs were or why they had such an unusual name. It was just something so strange to call something, but if they were on Earth and could grant wishes to anyone who got them at a particular time, then it was awfully strange that their Father didn’t go to the planet to collect them if this was Earthen knowledge; in fact it was very strange that they existed in the first place, “Dragonballs…you say? Such a strange name for something so valuable”, she spoke, looking down to her computer again and putting in a few commands, “You’re best not spreading that information around freely unless you want your planet invaded by bounty hunters and the King’s soldiers all wanting a taste of such power or to please the King for mass riches”.

While Shu did want to see his mother, he couldn’t help but feel alone when he thought he already had everything he needed and didn’t exactly need to see her if only out of curiosity. He never had a mother so he didn’t know what it was like, then there was how he looked and how strange he acted. She would probably freak out upon seeing him acting the way he does and all covered in hair in a lot of places. Looking to Takeshi, he smiled away as he spoke before lowering his head, pressing his fingers together, “I hope she likes me”, he spoke, letting out a sigh, “I know you already think I’m weird…just think how she might feel about me”. With Viral’s arrival, however, Shu was immediately put off from those thoughts and looked to him with interest, not entirely sure whether he should be worried that he was confronting Korian or curious to see what might happen between the pair seeing as how they didn’t have a very pleasant send-off before.

Viral wanted to know how Korian was going to tackle this, because if it was going to be done incorrectly or if he spotted his plan, then he was going to be quick to bite right into him and make sure he never came anywhere near him again. He had done a lot to sour anything he had with the rebels, if there was anything at all in the first place. Glaring at him, he let him speak to see if he could find anything redeeming in his words, but it was all coming up a little empty after all that had happened and what he had been told. Staring at him, he soon snickered, grinning a little, “You’re right; it’s not like you have never killed before, right? It’s not like anyone here hasn’t taken a life…right? All except for maybe the boy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you gave him a gold star for a good job because of that”, he spoke calmly at first, “You would had dismissed anyone else for killing other soldiers…or was it the manner in which I did so? How I tore through them as if like a butcher? Is that what you were afraid of when you tried to kill me? That I may do it again because I showed them no mercy?”

If Korian thought he was going to be let off this easy then he was mistaken, especially when there was a lot that had been done and said before, all adding to his madness. Grunting, he moved forward slightly, shifting on one foot, “You only admit that because you know I would had killed you before you could kill me, is that it? Do you recognise me as a superior fighter, a superior Commander? You had your suspicions about me when you first met me and you were right to hold onto them. You think you can speak for the entire rebel force? It’s just all for your benefit, isn’t it? What exactly are you willing to do for me to make up for it now? You should know better that I’m not just going to shrug off you wishing to kill me because I’m dangerous…or do you see me for something else regarding what I really am?”

Takeshi just kind of shrugged his shoulders in reply to Sayomi, not seeing the point in hiding it. The Dragonballs weren't exactly the universe's most well kept secret to begin with, and he was positive their father knew about them already. Besides, the few people who had been told he was fairly certain they wouldn't use for nefarious purposes, even if they may not get along so well. Were it even a relative problem then he may be more concerned too, but their next use was about a year away, so it wasn't as though someone would be barging in on their world soon. The topic of their mother quickly became the main focus, and Shu expressed his feelings, or rather worry over it. The feeling was mutual, both of them wanted their mother's approval. Having your father be kind of the universe's biggest jerk meant you only had one parent to go to, and should that fall through then they would only have each other. Not a terrible thing persay, the two of them got on well, but having a reliable, caring parent would be an awful nice change. "You're not weird, you're different. But everyone else we've met like you, and I bet if total strangers like you then our mom is going to like you even more." Plus, if they worked on some things then Shu wouldn't be any different from the others, aside from his more cheerful attitude. Yet somehow changing Shu seemed like an awfully upsetting idea.

Korian was hard pressed not to take the bait when he was teased, finding it hard enough as it was just to make the apology. Viral seemed to be enjoying himself though, which was good, he supposed. "It was hypocritical to condemn you for that when it's been done before, I'll admit it. In the act I worried what may have come of the attack and panicked, and in trying to maintain order I went too far. I was wrong and I admit it, Viral." Really he couldn't think of what more could be said to appease the Beastman. While he didn't expect an acceptance of his apology he figured there would at least be some acknowledgement, a little nod that it was understood. Rather than that be the case however Viral was just quite intent on egging the Saiyan on. Sighing softly Korian rubbed at his face, looking away for a moment before back to Viral, seeming awfully abashed and beside himself. "Perhaps... There was a bit of fear when you had changed, I'll admit it. I was afraid of what you might do to one of my soldiers if you had done something like that, so I was trying to preemptively stop any attacks. Admittedly it was not the best way to go about things, we should have been more careful about it. I jumped the gun and I know it was wrong."

Viral wasn't going to take this seriously, judging by his reactions. Either that or he was hell bent on testing Korian's patience to the utmost and try to make him trip up. Questioning motives was one thing, but a contest of strength was something else. It was much more difficult for the Saiyan to say anything on the matter and not make it seem offensive, he had to be tactful here. In his personal opinion of course he thought he was better, he wouldn't think himself capable to lead if he doubted his own ability. Telling Viral that though was only going to end up with more conflict. "This isn't about who is stronger or better able to lead, it's about my making my mistakes right," Korian pointed out, smiling tightly. That smile disappeared when Viral doubted his motives, managing to really tick at his desire to apologize. "I could have left hours ago and never said a word to you, and no one would have said otherwise. I'm not doing this to save my troops, or to save face. In fact don't you think a Commander apologizing to another fighter makes him look bad? I fail to see then how I benefit from doing this. As for what I'm willing to do..." There was a pause, it was a question he didn't readily have an answer to. "Within reason, you name it. I realize a simple apology doesn't make things right, but I'd like to do what i can to put that behind us."

Sayomi hadn’t heard of the Dragonballs before, it was definitely information that was withheld from everyone who wasn’t the King or these Earthlings. Such a thing did sound like a dream, but then again she had no idea what she might wish for. If she was to wish for anything, it would probably be something that she would always lack rather than something she might get eventually; meaning money and other types of riches were excluded. She was never really interested in physical things, just learning and being able to experience was definitely all she wanted. Maybe if she could estimate the time that the Dragonballs were used and the hint that Vegeta had used them to probably get where he was now, it meant she had to estimate just when during an Earth year that they would be ready. If she knew what to look for and how to find them, then maybe she could hunt them down as a challenge.

Shu just felt completely weird compared to everyone else, especially when everybody looked at him strangely and thought he was highly unusual and a little bit weird. It wasn’t hard to see that the others thought his mannerisms were strange and even the way he moved being unusual, but he was happy with how he was and found it difficult to change to suit them. He could barely hold stuff designed for human mannerisms, especially considering he wasn’t raised as a human or as a Saiyan. It made him feel a little alienated from everything, even shoes were difficult to wear. Looking up to Takeshi, he gave a little smile, lowering his head a little, “Really? I don’t know about everyone”, he spoke, pressing his fingers together, “I mean…you didn’t like me right away, right? There’s always a chance…and I am pretty weird…and furry”.

Viral wasn’t going to have Korian get away with a simple sorry after all that he did, all of the underestimating and everything that made him look weak and brittle. How dare he do such a thing to him and simply say sorry. Giving him a good glare, he stared at him as he spoke, still not happy with his fancy words that merely made it sound like a different way of apologising. He wasn’t going to let him get away with fancy words, he had to give him something in return and if that was going to happen then he was going to get his way first. Staring at him, he grunted upon mentioning the fear he felt, sneering, “I would had devoured them, but it would had been your fault. I transform when I’m in danger of dying…and you were the one trying to suffocate me. But I don’t blame you…” he spoke lowly, flexing his claws, “I would had tried to kill me too; I am just artificial life…I don’t matter as much as much as a family member, do I…”

He didn’t care if he was making the guy feel awkward with all of this, it was just the way it all falling together. To be judged as unworthy to live just because some soldiers were in danger showed who the man took priority in overall. Finding his little talk somewhat amusing, he grunted, standing up a little straighter, “Yes, you could had been away…but you wouldn’t have allies in this group once more and that would had been a huge disadvantage for you…especially if we saw fit to turn against you. It wouldn’t stop me from killing one of your men simply to teach you a lesson, would it?” he spoke, moving his paw to his arm, “However, since you are making the effort…I’ll accept your apology and leave your men alone…if you give me assess to your technology and facilities whenever I might need them! You just never know, my trip to Earth might not bring me complete salvation to my growing powers, I might need assistance. I want free access to everything you have and I want excused from crimes I may commit if I lose control again, you got it? You benefit because you get us and you know we’re the strongest allies you’re ever going to get”.

"No... But I warmed up to you didn't I? And the only people that don't like you are the bad people, and you wouldn't want them liking you anyways, would you?" There had been aliens all over the universe thus far who adored Shu, so it stood to reason their mother would like him. If complete strangers could like him then definitely his own parent would too... Father withholding. It was kind of curious that neither of them had ever heard from their mother's before, and it wasn't as though their entry into the World Martial Arts tournament had been secret. When news of Saiyans signing up spread attendance had peaked and then some, most of the world had known. Takeshi liked to think somehow their mother had just missed the message though, maybe she was like him and lived somewhere away from all of that. Whatever the case he was hopeful she was still back on Earth, more than ready to meet them. "Mom's going to love you, I just know it. Just be yourself, everyone ends up liking you sooner or later."

Korian didn't know why Viral transformed to begin with, and the Beastman saw fit to shed some light on the situation. They Beastman had been in fairly big trouble in terms of well being, he'd taken a lot of damage, so it made sense kind of. Not completely unlike a Saiyan's Zenkai. That was after the battle though, they did not have the luxury of a power boost in the middle of a fight. He supposed too losing control of oneself for Viral was not unlike an untrained Saiyan child losing control as an Oozaru. They were not held at fault for that, it was a lack of training and experience which brought that about. Thinking of it that way then Korian could be a little more sympathetic of Viral's plight. "I won't lie and say saving you was my priority. I did and always do put my troops first, making sure they're not in any danger that cannot be helped. I saw you as a threat and acted upon it, in a way that was unseemly." Hearing the bit about family left the Commander a bit confused, he wasn't quite certain how to reply to that. Nor was he the most empathetic person, so he didn't really know how to go about consoling or reassuring Viral. Instead he simply cleared his throat awkwardly, averting his gaze for a moment. "Family isn't a luxury I have, so I count my fellow warriors among those ranks. In that sense I suppose, in an estranged way, we're family. Which makes my actions all the more unforgivable. As I said, name whatever you feel helps make amends and I'll grant it."

Those words immediately came back to bite Korian in the rear. He had said anything within reason, and figured that was a decent enough means of making amends. What Viral requested, nay, demanded was pushing it a little bit. Not only did he casually make a threat towards the troops but he also asked for quite a bit in turn. Wanting to put this business behind them the Commander was nearly inclined to agree, were it not such a large request being made. They took great pride in what they had, and while he did want to help giving free reign over their facilities and resources kind of crossed a personal line with him. The access was one thing entirely, but then Viral also wanted pardons for anything he might do in the future. Should he ever go out of line then Korian would be bound by this contract of theirs and be unable to act. However... The stipulation of having the Princes and their friends as allies almost made that worth it. Nevertheless it wasn't an easy decision to make, and with a sigh Korian rubbed at his face with both hands. If he wanted any kind of alliance he would need to agree, and he was certain Viral was well aware of this fact. "Very well... We'll keep our facilities open for you should you ever need them, and I'll be more lenient in the future. But this doesn't mean we're going to make house calls. We've got a war to fight, if you need us come to us."

Shu was pretty okay with his enemies not liking him, but he still didn’t really know how to feel about normal people not liking him all that much. He was used to it, everyone thought he was weird, but it was a case of whether they were just not accepting for what he was or whether they really didn’t like him just because. He wasn’t completely convinced he could win the affections of a mother he never knew; she was going to be essentially a stranger to him and right back to her he was not going to know who she was. He would see her for Takeshi’s happiness and hope it might grant him a little bit of happiness himself, feeling as if he was missing something in his life so far. Giving Takeshi a smile, he slowly looked away again, pressing his fingers together still, “I guess so, I’m just worried is all”, he spoke, looking back up to him, “I mean, just incase she doesn’t like me, maybe I should be prepared for that and know I might be met with disappointment…but I’ll stay positive! I don’t mind whether she’ll love me or not”.

Viral was definitely taking advantage of this opportunity, seeing as how he was the victim in this and not exactly recovered from the damage he had to endure because of his antics. Even though it was Vegeta who had managed to cause most of the damage to his body, it was Korian who allowed him to do such a thing. For his pain, he deserved his demands to be fulfilled. Holding his ground, he stared at him as he spoke before letting out a sigh, “And you think I know about family? Besides…you’re a Saiyan, what do you know about family?” he spoke bitterly, letting out a huff, “Tch, estranged indeed…” Despite Yumi and Vegeta always declaring he was part of their family, he still couldn’t connect to that thought the same way they did. They weren’t his blood, whoever donated their genes to make him were his parents. The true meaning would always be lost to him, something he had lost when his memory was wiped.

Now seeing if Korian would meet his demands, that was another thing he would have to see. He was completely willing to push for his demands if he was ever going to forgive this man for what he did, shoving him into a spot that would otherwise cause him to submit and be unable to get out of unless he met his demands. Giving him a strong glare as he took a little longer than he would had liked to make a decision, he was about to shout at him some more until he finally spoke up with his decision. Grinning a little at the reaction he took to that, he knew he was in the clear for now but Korian was insistent on making a quick side comment about it, “Tch, ‘war’…if you say so”, he spoke, holding his arm as if pretending to fold them. He knew that claim for pardons meant if he did anything truly criminal on his own free will then the contract would be null, he knew he would have to be out of his normal state of mind for it to work. He didn’t care, it wasn’t as if Korian was going to notice if he ever decided to become a criminal once the war was apparently over. With all that being said, he grinned a little as he held out his hand, “That also means you give us a map of all your claimed locations…updated. We will want to know what we can find and where, you know”, he spoke, narrowing his gaze a little, “And if you ever call us for help…I don’t care what the others decide, just don’t be so pathetic with your calls…”

Takeshi didn't know what else to say to Shu other than to reiterate the point he'd already made. The majority of people who had ever met the little guy ended up adoring him, with some people, like the Shaharians, pretty much outright worshiping him. If he could get an entire race to celebrate him then surely the kid would have no problem making their own mother like him. What little he understood about a mother he knew they were supposed to love their children unconditionally. There were a lot worse things to be other than a little hairy or hyper too, like rude or have anger problems. Albeit he'd toned down his own issues quite a bit, so even that shouldn't be a big deal. There was a legitimate reason for their mother being absent, Takeshi wouldn't accept it otherwise. They were going to find her eventually, and she'd move in with them in his house, and they'd finally have a parent. A little late, given their ages, but better late than never he supposed. If Shu was going to try and be optimistic about all of this then so was he. If they kept their heads up who knows, they might find the woman sooner than they thought.

Korian wasn't going to touch the family topic, he wanted none of that. Besides, families were quite different depending on where you were born. Saiyan families were nothing like those on Uuonoe, and probably nothing like those on Earth. Kaesstra likely had its own family hierarchy and system if he asked T'charrl, and goodness knows how everyone else's home planets worked. At least the negotiations were coming to a close, or so the Commander thought. It was difficult enough agreeing to the demands already made, he wasn't very keen on giving so much leniency to someone as unpredictable as Viral. His last stipulation was particularly excessive, and for a moment Korian gave Viral an outright angry look. Remembering himself the Saiyan exhaled deeply, closing his eyes and frowning in displeasure. "We've spent countless hours, risked plenty of lives and traveled thousands upon thousands of kilometers to acquire that data... And you expect us to just share it with you...?" he asked, opening his eyes to look at Viral. "Considering the sensitive nature of the data I can't possibly give you that. It's got our stationed worlds on there as well, and routes for supplies. If that fell into the wrong hands it could turn our entire effort inside out."

Ricken rolled his eyes, quite bored with all of this back and forth. The Beastman was just yanking Korian around and the guy was letting him, for the most part. He at least managed to deny the request for the map, albeit it was probably a bad choice. Plus in reality it was quite unlikely anything was to happen to the data if the Princes got a hold of it. They had their real techy friend along, no doubt he'd encode the data to prevent anyone from accessing it unauthorized. Looking up at his Commander the rebel stepped forward, crossing his own arms as he looked at Viral amused. "The Commander said he'd give you an apology, not everything but the bathroom sink." he pointed out, frowning a bit. Korian might need to make nice, but he didn't. And the thought of letting someone walk over them just because of a past incident annoyed him quite a bit. "Take what you got already, you should be glad we're giving even that much."

"Ricken, shut up," Korian snapped, looking back at the young rebel annoyed. Glaring until the boy looked away the Commander sighed, loathing the position he was in right now. Really if they could make a simpler map then perhaps they could hand that over, that wouldn't jeopardize their plans and supply routes. Then again, giving that data to the Princes and their friends would make it easier for them to help, should the need ever arise. It was a risk-reward decision, and as much as he hated to admit it the reward, another ship and a few good soldiers to defend their lines, overwrote the potential breaches. "Have Vegeta encrypt the data before you use it, and do not show anyone else what's on the map. Keep it in the bridge if you must, and let as few people see it as you can. I can't stress enough how important it is this information is kept secure." Hardly believing what he was doing Korian looked to his Lieutenant, nodding his head. "Sayomi, can you get them a copy of our maps?"

Viral wasn’t pulling any punches with this, seeing how it was quite a big deal over what happened and he still held a lot of hatred towards the man for doing such a thing. If he could meet his demands, he would indeed lessen that hatred and at least tolerate him like before; however, once he is better, he was definitely going to challenge Korian to a fight. Despite his crippling mental condition, he did seek revenge for humiliating events and that was definitely a horror to endure. Watching as how Korian only grew angered at his suggestion, he smirked a little all while keeping his posture. He didn’t have much of a choice to back down from this, seeing as how getting this information was essential to his apology and not seeing him as a an enemy still. Grunting, he shifted on his foot, “Then how do you suppose we find where your facilities are…hm? Don’t you think that’s only logical”, he spoke, raising his chin a little, “Do you not consider us allies, or something…”

This was pretty delightful, despite how evil it was towards Korian. He didn’t care, he deserved to be tortured with guilt and would have to end up going on without them if he didn’t give them what he wanted. Despite how Viral looked right now, he was still a tactician and knew how to command himself, so he was going to treat it like a military exchange to come to a deal. Watching him, his eyes soon went to Ricken, giving him an annoyed look before he grinned, hearing Korian snap at him, “Heh…nice hair, scout”. That kid didn’t need to interfere, obviously barely knowing how big the last incident affected him to require all of this.

Sayomi had been put putting too much care into what was being said, knowing it was no big deal to fulfil. Korian did have doubts quite often with how she could pass data around, he should had known how good her skills were when she was able to access the King’s files without a problem most of the time. When Korian turned to her and requested encryption, she simply let out a sigh and pressed a few buttons on her computer, “Now, how am I supposed to do that…” he sighed before looking up to her, “Oh yeah, you forget who I am and what I’m capable of. Are you doubting me again…I’ll be right back…” Calmly walking away from Korian’s side, she instead moved over to T’charrl, the Kaesstrian giving her a confused look as she came up right close, “First, in regards to my request earlier, are you willing to give me some samples so that I may study you while I’m away?”

T’charrl didn’t realise she was this set on doing studies on him, feeling a little alienated from the norm if she was willing to do all this to him; then again, he was an alien and he was the first of his kind to leave his planet. Thinking not much of it, he looked to the others before giving a quick nod, “Uhhh okay, what kind of-ah!” Yelping in surprise, Sayomi wasted no time in pressing a kind of capsule against his arm, removing some yellow sticky blood from him and pulling some hairs, taking the root with them. Reattaching the hidden tools back on her belt, she wrapped her tail around again and gave him a nod of thanks before leaving to find Vegeta, not willing to pass the data over communications. Rubbing his arm, he frowned a little, looking down at the spot where she took his blood from, “Oww…it’s like an aftershock…”

Korian was having enough of a headache without Ricken getting involved. The boy could be as prideful as any Saiyan, and could hold a grudge damn well too. He'd taken the animosity towards Viral perhaps a bit too far before, which was saying something coming from the man who handed down the execution sentence. After telling off his subordinate the Commander turned back to the matter at hand, giving the Beastman an exasperated look. "You'll have your maps... But don't get comfortable with this arrangement. After this as far as I'm concerned we're even, anything that happens from hereon out is not related to this." He would not have the matter hung over his head like some black mail, he was done with it after this. Sayomi would need to go get the data, it would take him quite some time to figure out how to copy it, let alone transfer it to the Princes. It was a simple enough request and yet somehow the Lieutenant managed to find a way to get moody with him for it. Looking at Sayomi abashed the Commander shook his head, frowning as he blushed a bit indignantly. "N-No I'm not doubting you, I was asking if you'd mind doing it!" he said quickly, not wanting to get Sayomi angry with him. Instead of replying she went over to T'charrl, pricking him with a little tool before walking off to the Princes' ship. Sighing softly Korian shook his head, watching her leave before looking back at the kids. "Women are trouble boys, be careful."

Takeshi couldn't say he agreed with Korian's view on women. He didn't think they were trouble at all, just really hard to get. Having no experience with them himself he couldn't well say though, they could be just as the Commander said too. Ugh... There was something else he should try doing when they were on Earth, if they had the time. Maybe he would finally be able to find a girlfriend if luck was on his side. Dragging Shu along was possibly a good idea too. He was cute, girls liked cute, right? Then again, they may end up liking Shu and not him, and then he'd be back where he started but now having to watch his brother date someone. Life was so not fair like that. As Sayomi wandered off he turned to see what T'charrl was fussing about, not having witnessed the small sample she'd stolen. Seeing him nursing at his arm Takeshi went over to take a look, curious at the small prick-spot he noticed. "That's what you're moping about...?" he asked, blinking confused before smiling up at the Kaesstrian amused. "You pretty much just had blood drawn, it's kind of like a shot. You have gotten shots before... Haven't you?"

Vegeta was more than ready to get going again, yet the others were outside for some meeting. With Korian no less, which was a little troublesome seeing as Viral had left. He doubted a battle was going to break out, the brothers and T'charrl were there to stop that if need be, but it must be an awfully awkward situation. Everyone else was good to go, the ship was primed to take off and the crew at their stations. At the present Vegeta was sitting at the panels in the hangar, doing last minute checks on systems to make sure they hadn't missed anything. It would be quite bad to get into space and then find out life support wasn't working, or that someone had left something unplugged. All across the board things were okay, not a single bit had been missed. He was a little excited to fly now, curious as to how the ship had been modified. On the exterior it was much the same, save for the dark red coat of paint that now covered the hull to mask it being a Saiyan vessel. The bulk of the work had been on overhauling everything inside, and that included the engines. Smiling whimsically at the prospect of now being faster he hardly noticed Sayomi enter the ship, catching her coming in out of the corner of his eye. Raising an eyebrow he stepped out of the control room, going to the rail on the catwalk and leaning on it, looking down at her curiously. "Last minute check up? Or did we miss something?"

Viral could work with that, his desire to get their locations going just as he planned. Korian underestimated them, the fact that they might actually think they couldn’t trust them enough to keep those plans hidden away from the King. He was not incompetent, he needed to prove that he wasn’t and he knew how to handle sensitive data. Staring at Korian, he grunted at his response, giving him more of a serious glare, “I don’t believe you are taking this as seriously as I am”, he spoke calmly, “If you don’t trust me, then say it. I know you still hold prejudices against me because of where I came from, who I am and what I did”. Looking to Sayomi, hearing her talk like that sparked some amusement, watching as she went to T’charrl before off towards their ship. Grunting, he turned back to Korian, staring at him for a moment before holding out his paw, “You want to settle this now, then…? Unless you hate touching those who have blood on their hands…I can understand that”.

Watching Sayomi leave them all and looking to Korian when he made the comment, he frowned a little and looked down at his arm, feeling a little sad that he got pricked like that. Letting out a sigh, he looked to Takeshi when he spoke up, still holding his arm, “I’m not moping! It hurt”, he frowned, glancing down at his arm, “I saw she took my blood, but it still hurt. I haven’t had shots...I haven’t needed shots. Why? Do I have to get one? But I don’t want one; I’m an advanced being…” His kind often avoided getting injections, typically because it didn’t really do much unless they were sick with the disease in the first place; however, whether that was a different case in space then he was a little worried, “Is there a type of fungus I have to watch out for in space? I’m not going to get ill, am I?”

Sayomi had heard Korian’s comment, but completely ignored it when it meant she had leverage on him. She could use that later against him for all sorts of teasing, but not in front of the Beastman and his friends. She knew what she had to do and how to do it, seeing as how it wouldn’t be any different to how she programmed their own ship to carry the same information the Saiyans tried to steal back on Uunoue. She knew where Vegeta would be, they would all be heading out soon as well so Vegeta would obviously be in the hanger. It was some long walk, that was for sure, but she would eventually make it all while taking her time to scan in the Kaesstrian’s DNA into her computer for her to study later; there was always a few mutants with every race, but one coming from a race that’s generally pretty unknown was just the scientific icing on the biological cake. Walking along calmly, she looked up quickly when she heard Vegeta, giving him a brief nod, “You missed something and I’m going to tell you what it is”, she spoke simply, “I need to give you data that’s important for your travels, such as where our bases are…also to tell you that you’re free to drop off and use our facilities whenever you please. So, do you want to assist me with encrypting the data so our enemies never find out and so we don’t need to blame your friends if we ever get attacked? Korian seems to find that pretty easy to do right now.”

"I have trouble trusting your ability to stay out of trouble. All of you have quite the history of run-in's with the Saiyans, so it concerns me the likelihood of our data falling into their hands. But... I also know you're all capable fighters. I suppose given the choice I can't think of any better group to part with our information." Besides, proper precautions aside and even a simple-minded child could keep the data secure, so long as they used the proper security measures. If Sayomi wanted to, he figured, she could probably make it completely inaccessible to anyone but Vegeta should they so desire. And unless that boy was randomly going to change sides in this war it couldn't be any more safe than that. For a brief moment Korian was distracted from the topic at hand, being thrown through a loop as Sayomi prodded at his question. There was nothing in the slightest doubtful with that request and yet she accused him of it, leaving him embarrassed yet again. Once she had left he let out a sigh of relief, looking back at Viral a bit surprised. Eying the paw for a moment the Saiyan's mouth curled into a faintly amused smirk, reaching out and taking the Beastman's paw. "I've more blood on my hands than I care to share, Viral," he pointed out, giving his hand a shake. "I've been doing this longer than you have, and more violently I would assume. Believe me when I say this, overreaction aside, what you did was fairly tame."

Takeshi wasn't quite understanding how T'charrl had been hurt, it seemed like a little pin prick at most. He didn't have any issues with medicines or needles like that himself, but maybe his friend did. Maybe he'd never gotten a shot before and was unused to the feeling, or maybe not. So the Kaesstrian had never had a shot before, that was kind of odd. Then again neither had he, Shu most certainly not. The rest he couldn't be so sure, albeit he knew that vaccinations weren't exactly a thing for Saiyans. Picking up a slight tone of panic from T'charrl he looked up abashed, smiling sheepishly as he waved his hands dismissively. "No, no fungus. I mean there are mushrooms and all... But people eat those things. Well, some of those things. Some will make you sick... Heh... Or kill you..." Rubbing his neck awkwardly Takeshi smiled a bit, dropping both his hands into his pant pockets. "You're not going to need any shots. I'm sure you'll be fine, it's not like we're going to be around too many nasty diseases anyways." Assuming they only went between his home and East City the worst thing that T'charrl might end up with was the sniffles or a small cold. Unless for some odd reason he was lethally susceptible to the common cold their friend would be just fine.

Vegeta raised an eyebrow curiously, smiling in amusement. "Oh? So we're getting a map now? You're too kind." Putting a hand on the rail he hoisted himself over it, dropping down to the hangar floor and giving Sayomi a curious look. "I don't quite know why we need to know where your bases are... But if you think it'll help then by all means we'll take it. Though I can't imagine we'll be stopping by for visits all that often." Most of rebel space was behind them now if he remembered right, which meant stopping off at a base involved backtracking. Unless something dire were to happen that demanded their return the chances of them stopping by were nil. Still... It might be nice to know where the rebels are so they could travel more confidently. Standing beside the Lieutenant he glanced at her small computer, eager to see what they had to offer. "I'll help you, since it would be easier than trying to decode your work from the ground up. Even with a key you know as well as I do I'm sure that can take a while." Plus with two of them working on it the code was bound to be utterly unique, there would be absolutely no reference to use to crack it, making it all the more impenetrable. Chuckling a bit Vegeta shook his head, looking out towards the door in everyone else's direction. "Your Commander... He's a bit paranoid, isn't he?"

Viral was willing to make an agreement with Korian, but it was going to be on strict terms from there on out. He really wanted to please Yumi by at least trying this, but he wasn’t going to put up with any hatred this guy might spout, especially seeing as how he was easily swayed considering how he treated him last time. The man didn’t see him as a normal everyday soldier; hell, he probably wouldn’t treat him normally if he didn’t come from the King’s army as well as being an artificial creature. Staring at Korian, he sneered when he finally took his paw in agreement. While this was all sorts of amusing, hearing what he had to say was hardly going to sway his opinion on the man, “’Fairly tame’? So you’ve tried to devour an Elite too?” he spoke, grinning slightly, “How did they taste? A little salty…? That’s probably from the tears, I would assume…” Pulling back, he let out a slight huff, “Whether you were one of the people who tried to pull my body apart, I doubt whatever blood you have on your hands could compare to the simplest of cretins I have encountered. You have no idea what they did to me…”

T’charrl was a little unsettled, or rather he didn’t like when he had to take tests or have to go to the doctors and that was pretty close to being at one if briefly. While he didn’t mind Sayomi, she did what had to be done, but it could have been a little gentler maybe. Giving his arm a little rub, he looked up when Takeshi spoke about the mushrooms, “W-What? Why would you eat something like that…?” he asked, frowning a little. There was no way he was ever going to eat a mushroom, whatever that was. He probably had something similar on his planet if his and the Earth were similar, but it probably came under a different name. Frowning a little, he looked to Takeshi a little, “So I won’t need more of that…okay. Maybe a little warning before I get stabbed, huh?”

Shu looked between them all, tilting his head a little when T’charrl seemed a little upset after having a needle stuck in him. He could sympathise, he didn’t look very comfortable with getting that sort of treatment, “It’s okay, friend T’charrl! I’ve had stabbies and I don’t like it either”, he smiled, giving a nod, “I got stabbies everywhere; on my arms, in my head, in my legs…my belly…chest…my…baaackuuuhhh…” Swaying as he went through his little speech, he gradually lost control before fainting, T’charrl not being quick enough to notice he was having difficulties.

Sayomi gave a little smile, watching him drop down all the while pulling her computer close. It would certainly help them in the long run so long as the data was encrypted enough and she trusted Vegeta to make a code good enough to keep the King at bay, “You need to know where they are so you can use our facilities, like your Beastman asked for in exchange for what happened last time”, she spoke calmly, looking back to her computer again, “He seems set on making use of what we have just incase he needs it or if you need to refuel”. It was certainly worth seeing what they could come up with in regards to this code, knowing how talented this kid was when it came to science and technology; the kid looked after a fully functioning artificial creature, after all. Looking to the door, she let out a sigh before back to Vegeta, “Well, he has good reason. Just before you appeared, our base was attacked, meaning they had compromised our systems. If we’re not careful, they’ll know where all of our bases are”.
