Korian had been at war nearly all of his life, if not for the king then against the king. He'd experienced loss, victory, depression, jubilation, everything that came with battle. What Viral had done was by no means trivial, it was definitely a nasty bit of business. But suggesting it somehow overshadowed all that the Commander had gone through in his time was a bit much. Smiling tightly he gave a shake of his head, taking his hand back. "I've never done that, no... But I've killed people that haunt me to this day. I've slain those who were as close as brothers and done things that can never, ever be forgiven." He had been just as loyal as any Elite was now, up until his breaking point. Missions had been undertaken and slaughters carried out, none of which he took any pride in now. Back then however he had been a successful, renowned Commander and that had been good enough for him. Stepping closer to Viral he folded his hands behind his back, smiling bitterly as he leaned down and whispered, "And who do you suppose helped develop most of that, hm? There are many tools of war, Viral, including torture. I had a hand in what you experienced, I'd bet." Korian's tone sounded utterly remorseful now, and when he stood back upright his eyes were slightly glazed over. "Our conflict aside let me say I am truly, truly sorry for what was done to you. I had hoped to be more efficient and spare anyone else that kind of agony. Forgive me for being unable to keep you from it."

"Because mushrooms are tasty, that's why. Put them on a pizza, or fill it with bacon... Oooh... Or grill it and stuff it with peppers and fish and cheese..." They had only just eaten and yet here he was making himself hungry again, oops. Smiling sheepishly Takeshi itched at his nose, trying to get himself off of that subject. So pizza was going to be something else they'd have to get when they returned home, alongside fruit. T'charrl would probably like pizza, though he wasn't sure if Kaesstrians had cheese on their planet or not. Smiling the Saiyan nodded his head, looking back to Viral and Korian curiously as they continued to speak between themselves. "Yeah, no more shots. No one on Earth is going to do that to you. Well... Probably not." Scientists could be funny in his experience, and T'charrl was a completely new species being introduced to their world. Vegeta might be refraining from testing but that was hardly stopping Sayomi. There were loads of eggheads inside of Capsule Corp that may well want to test the Kaesstrian, and never mind if those maniacs at RRA found out. That's just what they would need, those screwballs coming back after all this time.

Takeshi too hadn't been watching his brother, hardly listening to him even as he tried to eavesdrop on Viral and Korian. It wasn't until he heard a light thud and T'charrl gasp that he turned around, eyes widening seeing Shu laid out on the ground. Worried he knelt down at his sibling's side, immediately scooping him up and looking over for any obvious damage, utterly confused as to what had happened. At least he was breathing, and fairly steadily at that. So had he just randomly passed out then? Takeshi wasn't sure how or why that had happened, but it was a little comforting to know Shu had only fainted. Sighing softly he managed a small smile, holding the smaller boy to himself protectively as he looked up at T'charrl. "How about we let these guys finish up out here and get him inside? I want to see Vegeta just to make sure he's okay."

"So this is all because Viral is blackmailing Korian, hm? Interesting..." He'd never known Viral to be the kind to hold something over someone's head like that. Chuckling again Vegeta shook his head in disbelief, almost wanting to go outside to see it for himself. Coding some sensitive data was more important than an entertaining few seconds however, and this information was definitely going to be of use to them. While looking at the computer he accessed the file, looking at the map in a bit of awe. The rebels had established quite the system in a short time, there were several worlds that could be visited for supplies or assistance, many of which not that far off, cosmically speaking. Given time they could probably travel to worlds just beyond Earth if need be, which would be very convenient indeed. Writing a security measure for this all might take about an hour, but it was most certainly something worth having and protecting. "Was it...? I never knew that..." he said almost absentmindedly, still pouring over the map. "Though now that you mention it... The city didn't look that great, so I guess that explains it. Ever find out where the breach was?"

Viral wasn’t too fussed over what had been experienced during his or anyone’s time of service, he knew everyone in the King’s army all had their own stories to tell and listening to them all would be all too much for him to take in. Killing was fairly trivial, there was always going to be screams but they would all be put out of their misery and allowed to pass on into the Otherworld and into another life. Not looking too convinced over his stories, he looked to the others quickly before back at Korian with a frown, “Hmph, and killing me wouldn’t had been any different, hm?” he muttered, hardly finding his words at all encouraging; the fact that the man was willing to kill him while not being under control of the King and not care much until recently, at least when he realised he was losing allies with it. Looking away for a second, he couldn’t help but look back at him when he came in closer, growling lowly at how uncomfortably close he had come. Frowning a little, he figured the idiot probably had a hand in what he did, but his thoughts only went to the fact that he probably just tried to finish him off. Trying to toss those thoughts aside for the good of the deal, he stared at him as he spoke, “…You are only sorry now, but back when it was happening…what would you have thought of it? How can you be certain you felt anything for an affront to nature? You could have been more like Takeshi and forgot all about me, it wouldn’t have mattered…”

While T’charrl wasn’t keen on the thought of mushrooms or whatever pizza was, he barely noticed Shu who began to drop out of the corner of his eye. Gasping, he immediately turned and tried to grab Shu but missed him as he hit the ground. He didn’t know why he had gone down so fast or what was wrong with him, but staring at him he didn’t appear to have any injuries. Fanning at Shu’s face, he looked over him before to Takeshi, frowning a little, “So long as you stop talking about fungus, I’ll be fine with that”, he spoke, standing up again, “Do you think he’s okay? It’s not too hot, is it? I thought your friend was going to be busy with some technology and maps?” It was pretty odd considering the last time he looked at Shu he was just all happy and smiling and the next second he was down. He looked okay if a little pale, maybe he had been doing too much all in one day.

Sayomi gave Vegeta a quick side glance before shrugging, seeing the logic, “I guess you could call it blackmailing, yes”, she spoke, giving a quick glance back again, “He was certainly trying to take Korian to his limit, but all and all he was still thinking like a tactician, like he was the one flying this vessel and making all of its decisions”. It was certainly a lot of strange requests, but in giving Viral free access to all of their facilities it meant he could take anything he wanted too such as food or medical supplies. Trying to calculate just how much they might take from them and where they might decide to stop off, she looked back to Vegeta and gave a little nod, “They tried to capture me as well since they knew I held all the codes for the drives I carried; they would had just probed my mind and most likely set me up with one of those horrendous new collars”, she spoke calmly, letting out a sigh, “But no, I never did find out where as our base was destroyed. Our people were strong enough to get out and save those who had gotten trapped, but a lot of the equipment was damaged and everything is still being taken and transported elsewhere. The drives I saved have since been wiped with that information placed…elsewhere. You are lucky I am letting you get this close to my computer…”

That negotiation had not gone in the slightest the way Korian wanted. While he did feel that terms were a bit better between himself and Viral he had very clearly gotten the short end of the stick. Quite a few allowances had been made for the Beastman, including the release of quite sensitive information, and for what? So his mind could rest easier without lingering guilt? Ah well, at least the information had been secured, the chances of losing it was nil to none. Plus in reality allowing the Princes' group to visit their bases probably wasn't near as much an inconvenience as he made it out to be. Their presence might help to soothe frayed nerves, and at the very least it let the troops know that the boys were still on their side. Fighting the king was no trivial matter so any condolences they could get, or reassurances were welcome. Now that they were making way back into orbit there was no going back and undoing any of the deals anyways, what was done was done. Korian looked off to the side on the bridge, glancing out the window at a lone ship flying off in near the opposite direction. So the Princes intended on returning to Earth, that was fine enough. He'd been informed of the reason why they were going and he wasn't well going to stop them. Smiling faintly he closed his eyes, hardly believing that they had come so far in their battle against Yamate. Soon they would be at Earth themselves, and perhaps with the planet freed they would all be more inclined to aid in the effort. Time would tell, for now they'd keep going as they were. "Alright everyone, let's get moving now! We've got a planet to liberate!"

Takeshi couldn't help but be protective of Shu now that he had collapsed. Even with his brother waking up the Saiyan was hard pressed to leave him alone, worried he might fall yet again. At least they weren't going to be doing much between now and Earth, hopefully the lack of strain would make things a bit easier on the little guy. The plan had been not to do much anyways, but just half an hour into the trip and Takeshi was already laid out on his bed, staring up at the ceiling and sighing deeply. "Ugh... I'm so bored..." he grumbled, stretching his arms a bit with a yawn. They had only been moving for a few hours now, and yet he was already going stir crazy. To think the trip was estimated to take 72 hours if they kept the current speed and course. Probably more than that according to Vegeta, since he didn't want to press the engines too much just yet. That was going to work out just swimmingly, a couple of energetic Saiyans stuck on a ship with nothing to keep themselves busy, They couldn't even train really, the training room was offline right now since they didn't feel the need to rework that just yet. Despite requests on Takeshi's part it had been left untouched, so as of now it was just a big, empty room. There weren't exactly games on this ship either, it had been made for adults. And while in most cases Takeshi thought himself an adult there was nothing like the lack of anything to do to remind him how young he still was. With another sigh he sat up in his spot, looking at Shu curiously as he draped his arms across his legs. "Hey Shu... What do you want to do?"

Sayomi and Vegeta had taken their time encrypting the code, but all for good reason. It was a highly sensitive system and the code needed to be hardy and impenetrable to survive, creating just that. It would need both Vegeta and Sayomi to crack completely, but otherwise only one of them was needed to get a hold of the data. It wouldn’t do anything if someone was to try and get a hold of it, it becoming completely null and incomprehensible otherwise. She would have to go and see them if it was to ever be updated, but she was definitely going to be a while unless complications arose or they simply cross paths. With their own journey to undertake, they left with a brief exchange, knowing they’ll probably end up crossing paths again all while Sayomi kept her own connections up just incase they got into trouble.

After a while as well , Shu woke up again, feeling woozy at first but not remembering why he collapsed. He was fine after a while, just a little light-headed and a little bit sad that he wasn’t going to be allowed to take part in strenuous activity, despite them all knowing who he was and what he was like. He didn’t like sitting around all that much, he was feeling okay and didn’t think he’d faint again, but Takeshi seemed set on letting him relax after a few words with Vegeta. Sitting around with Takeshi was only so much fun and T’charrl had gone off to Vegeta to arrange his lessons, so he was fair alone at this point while all Takeshi did was lie around and complain. Rolling around on his own bed every so often, he let out a squeaky sigh as he stretched out all before Takeshi spoke to him, rolling over a little to look at him, “Dooooo? I don’t know”, he spoke, sitting up and rubbing his head, “Am I okay to do things? I don’t feel woozy, I promise…I’m okay! Is there fun things on the ship…?”

Despite only being on the trip for a few hours already, Viral had managed to go missing after being left alone for a bit. Yumi had gone off to do her own things for a while, most likely thinking now that he had eaten he was going to be on his way to recovery; unfortunately, that was no the case. He had the energy and he could move his arm somewhat again, but that’s where all the energy went and none of it went to his mind and helping his mental state. He had left his room and gone on a wander around the ship, disappearing on his search for whatever it could have been he was looking for. He didn’t know where he was, his mind just wasn’t the same since having to recall what happened to him once more and eating had left him feeling starving and confused. He was completely by himself and darkness was his only accompaniment for now, but he was already confused and couldn’t find his way.

Takeshi was becoming awfully restless, and he was by no means tired enough to sleep. It may have been a decent idea to catch some rest though regardless while Shu was out, but he'd not been able to relax enough. Now that his brother had come to he was quite open about being bored, wanting desperately to get out of the room. While there was nothing wrong with traveling the decks while the ship moved he wasn't quite sure what there was to do. Fresh out of ideas he tossed the problem over to his brother, hoping he might have a better idea as how they could entertain themselves. "Yeah, Vegeta took a look and said you just passed out, though he wasn't sure why. As far as he could tell you're not hurt, and his word is good enough for me." Vegeta was the one with the most medical experience after all, and while they could have gone to the newly appointed doctor he trusted his friend's word more than a stranger's. Takeshi didn't know the answer to Shu's question, he wasn't sure either himself. Frowning as he crossed his legs on the bed the Saiyan scratched at his head in thought, "I guess we could look around...? There's still a lot of rooms I haven't been in, there could be something for us to do. And I guess exploring is something in of itself, right?" Plus if nothing else it would kill time until their next meal, whenever that was going to be. Slipping off his bed Takeshi grabbed his boots, carefully sliding them on before beaming at Shu. "Ready to go see what's on the ship?"

"We're going to start with some basics today T'charrl. I figured some simple greetings is a good place to start, don't you?" How was he supposed to go about these lessons anyways? No one had even mentioned this until Yumi showed up with T'charrl and told him to teach the Kaesstrian how to speak. Sure, because that wasn't a huge undertaking. He was a scientist, a business man, a medical practitioner and an engineer, but he was NOT a teacher. In spite of his education he wasn't exactly qualified to be teaching anyone anything. Alas, here he was, getting ready to instruct someone how to speak a language completely foreign to them. "Now, I want you to leave your scouter on so you can understand me. I, on the other hand..." he paused, removing his own scouter and laying it on a table, "Won't use mine, so I can judge how you speak. Now... If we start with 'Hello' that should be simple enough..." Again he paused, albeit this time more out of being clueless how to start than anything. Just how in the world did you teach someone to speak anyways? He'd learned by listening, albeit that took a number of years. Frankly if they wanted T'charrl to speak anytime soon that simply wouldn't cut it. "Okay... Well... Hello kind of starts with a breathy 'h' sound..." To make the point Vegeta emulated the noise a few times, feeling a bit awkward as he did so. "You just... Breath out to make the sound... I guess?"

Shu was pretty unsure to what he should be doing just now, whether he was supposed to be relaxing or if he was going to be allowed to get up and bounce around again. There was something about blood and pressure that he was checked for and while it was low or something low those lines, it was still not really a concern. Rolling around on his bed a few times, he looked to Takeshi, giving him a smile as he spoke, “I feel okay, but I don’t want to do that if we ever get into a big battle”, he smiled, rolling back onto his chest, “I wouldn’t want to fall over and be helpless! That is not good, you might get hurt and I won’t be able to do things with you…” Slowly sitting up again, he smiled before he looked to the door, tilting his head a little. He could do with a look around, he never did get to do such a thing whenever he stopped at places so it was nice that they owned such a large place themselves, “Okay! I wanna see! I wonder what it’s like!” he squeaked, slowly rolling forward until he fell off the bed and onto his feet, “What could there be? Have you been on one of these before…?”

T’charrl was a little nervous, he hadn’t done language training before so this was definitely a new experience. He was slightly worried that they wouldn’t like his voice, he was definitely a little self-conscious about it since hearing it was annoying. He didn’t know how this might be done or whether there was written material for him to look at eventually, but he hoped he would get it since he was obviously good at absorbing stuff considering what he looked like now. Looking up to Vegeta, he nodded a little, watching him remove his own scouter before looking back to him. He didn’t know what he was thinking with this, but maybe it was going to help him eventually. Smiling a little, his antennae twitched a bit as he scratched his chin, “Hmm, like a…like a…hhheh? Hhhehhh…hheh…” he spoke, trying to simulate it. It was a little awkward to do, trying to listen behind the scouter’s translations. It was strange, but he was definitely giving it a try.

Viral didn’t know where he was, he couldn’t see much as he wandered around in what felt like complete blindness, his energy levels dwindling pretty badly as he wandered around in search of something. It couldn’t have been food, but then again the thought of food was appealing; however, it couldn’t be that when he had gone on for long enough without it, causing him great confusion. He was feeling pretty terrible, almost like low blood sugar but also a drive to get what he wanted, almost like an excitement to hunt for his own. He couldn’t think straight, his head was hurting pretty badly all while his skin crawled. He needed to find what he was looking for and he was heading straight for that, even when he wasn’t sure where he was moving.

Falling like that would most definitely be a bad thing in battle. If only they knew exactly why Shu had collapsed then they could take the steps to prevent it. As things stood however Vegeta hadn't picked up any notable signs of an illness, the little Saiyan's symptoms being normal with that of someone who had fainted. Now he seemed fine too, all chipper and ready to get moving again. Takeshi didn't understand it at all, and he couldn't help but be bugged quite a bit by the matter. Something was definitely wrong with his brother, and it hadn't been exhaustion. He'd had plenty to eat and gotten a decent night's rest, there was no way he had just been tired. It was a matter he'd worry about later however, right now they had things to do. Returning his sibling's smile the older boy got up from his seat and slipped on his boots, going to the door to shut off the lights. "I've been on a ton of ships, sure. Not this one though, and not one like it. Father must be making new ones because I don't recognize it." A year of service had given him plenty of exposure to what the Saiyan military had, and this wasn't around. Either that or there were so few he hadn't been onboard one before, it could be either way. Propping open the door he held a foot in place to keep it from closing, ushering Shu out of the room. "Let's go snoop around and find out, yeah?"

Okay, that had been a pretty pitiful attempt at explaining language. Vegeta didn't know how to go about it other than demonstrating though, T'charrl would just have to pick up on the nuances. A hard "h" sound didn't seem that complicated for him, yet the Kaesstrian was having some trouble with it. "That's right, it's like 'heh', you're getting it." It actually wasn't all that far off, but it was curiously high pitched and a bit strained. The latter he attributed to not being used to speaking, but the pitch was something else entirely and a bit puzzling. If they could get this first sound down then T'charrl may well learn the word in next to no time at all, and soon they could move onto another. "The beginning of hello is 'heh', try to make that sound. And when you get that sound you'll want to make this..." Pressing the tongue up against the top of his mouth Vegeta made a loud 'el' sound to convey what he was explaining. "It doesn't have to be that loud, but that's how it should sound. 'Heh' and 'el'. El is made by pressing your tongue up against the roof of your mouth and... Er... Well when I do it it presses against the roof and behind my top teeth. So it'll press against the top front of your mouth. Uh..." Vegeta scratched at his head, really having a tough time putting words to this. "Just try it, I guess? Tell me if I'm not explaining it well."

Shu was probably a little confused to what he could possibly do on the ship, they probably should had looked at something to try and get an idea of what was in this place. There was probably some fun things to do in this ship, the Saiyans probably would want to relax and do something fun themselves between missions. Giving Takeshi a good staring at, he slowly moved towards him, his eyes going to the door quickly when it was opened, “Oooh, that’s something…new things all the time!” he spoke, feeling a little more hopeful that he was going to be able to find something new, “Should we ask Yumi maybe if she wants to explore too? Or is she sleeping? It’s going to take a long time to get home, there’s no time for sleeping until later because then it’s closer to getting home…”

T’charrl smiled when Vegeta expressed confidence in his abilities, smiling a little. He thought he did pretty good, but only Vegeta would know whether it was as good as it should sound better for him than it did with himself. He hoped that he was doing everything right, leaning forward a little more and giving a smile, “Really…? Ooohhh…hhehh! I think…hhhnn…” he spoke, trying to get it to sound a little better but not really managing to do much more than that. The next sound was a little more difficult to make, seeing as how his tongue was structured differently. Looking down quickly, he smiled a little before giving it a try, “Errllrr…uhh, ehhlllrrr…” he spoke only to shake his head a little, feeling frustrated for a moment before starting again, “Ehhrrl! Ehhhll…elllll…? Ellhh, ell!”

"If you want to go see if Yumi can come then sure, let's go," Takeshi said, smiling, "I bet she's probably as bored as we are right now. Never known her to enjoy sitting around either." The fact they couldn't train on here had to be making her stir crazy, she was very nearly always active if it could be helped. Letting Shu out of the room he released the door, watching it slide shut before stuffing his hands into his pant pockets. Nodding his head the older boy started off, heading in the direction of their friend's bedroom, which wasn't all too far away. "Maybe they have a game room or something here... Though I never knew Saiyans to have a ton of toys really. I almost wonder if the training room was their source of fun. Because if that's the case then we're out of luck." He supposed if nothing else they could always find a different means of entertaining themselves. It was a large ship after all, plenty of ample opportunity to make up their own games. A round of tag might work exceptionally well, or hide-and-seek. Perhaps a little childish in nature but Takeshi had never played them and he was more than willing to give it a go. Yumi's room was just up ahead, hopefully she was actually in. Shu seemed to want to play with her an awful lot and he wanted to give his brother whatever made him happy. "Go ahead and knock buddy. If I do it she'll probably hit me for barging in."

When T'charrl spoke it sounded just like mass of sounds due to a lack of a scouter. Vegeta could tell he was happy though, returning the smile and even giving a thumbs up in turn. Not bad, he was picking up things a bit quicker than anticipated. Granted it was only two sounds out of goodness knows how many there were, but it was a good a start as any. Now was the second part, the 'el' sound. This one proved to be a bit trickier for T'charrl than the first, and it was more of an 'er' sound at first coming from him. After a few more attempts however he managed to get down that as well, successfully copying both "heh" and "el". "To think I was worried about this, you're doing exceptionally well." Vegeta remarked, earnestly praising his friend. "At this rate you'll be speaking entire sentences before we even reach Earth. Granted, even with your prowess fluency is likely a long ways off, but if you keep this up you'll speak as well as the rest of us, I'm confident of that." Who knew T'charrl would be so susceptible to learning another language, it was honestly quite the surprise. A very pleasant one at that, it opened all sorts of doors for them if the Kaesstrian could learn to speak the common tongue. "Now then, the last sound is "oh", that's a hard 'O' sound. It's kind of... Drawn out, I suppose. And after the 'el' there's the tiniest pause before you say 'oh'." The last part was mostly his own inflection when speaking, it was hardly universal. Such was the way it worked when someone taught a language though, especially not a professional. To give an example he uttered the word a few times, slow and pronouncing each sound, "Heh-el-o. Heh-el-o. Hello. Just give it a few tires and let's see how well you piece it together."

Shu gave a quick nod, bouncing out of the room and turning towards Takeshi again, “It will be nice! She’ll be happy to play with us if we find somewhere to play, all bouncy with fluffy ears. She’ll like you more too”. He didn’t really know how to feel about Yumi always getting annoyed at Takeshi, they should be friends seeing how they’ve been through a lot together. It was making their journey a little depressing whenever they got angry or depressed because another was angry at them, but maybe it was just how adults acted once they got to a certain age. Walking along while staring down at the floor, he squeaked a little on each step, “Maybe! Maybe…maybe! We should ask sometime! Ask your friends, as them happily with good thoughts…” he spoke, waddling away quite happily, “I would think fighters would want to fight somewhere before a fight…” Arriving at Yumi’s room, he looked up at the door, staring at it before quickly looking to Takeshi, giving a nod, “Okay! I’ll do it, I don’t want you getting hit…” Turning to the door, he reached up and knocked rapidly, pressing his ear up against the door, “Yumiiii…? Do you wanna explore the ship with us?”

T’charrl hoped he was doing okay, he nearly screwed up with that one and listening to two sources of sound was pretty difficult to get a hold of. Frowning a little when there wasn’t any reaction at first, he let out a sigh when Vegeta gave him positive feedback, “Really? My mother always said I was a quick learner…”he smiled, giving his arm a quick scratch as he looked away, “Maybe that’s possible, but whether I understand them is another thing…” Even though Vegeta couldn’t understand him exactly, he was definitely feeling confident and trying to reassure himself. Looking back to Vegeta he tilted his head again, listening to the noise, he gave a quick nod, pressing his claw against his muzzle before trying to make the noise, “…Ohh…oh? Oh! Ehlll…” he spoke, feeling pretty happy that he managed to get that one down not too bad, if purring a little to the noise, “Hehhllrrroooohhh…Hehllloh...helloh?”

Bringing Yumi along wasn't such a bad idea really, Takeshi certainly didn't mind her being there. But being smacked whenever he said a slightly foolish thing sort of put him off, he could do without the abuse for a day. When they got to the door he had to opt for Shu to knock, rubbing at his head reflexively as he recounted the numerous smacks he'd received. "There is a training room, but it's all empty and the devices are turned off. Though I guess we could still spar if we wanted to." Of course their idea of sparring often ended up more in a game, with one trying to get on top of the other or tackling each other. Not exactly the battle-hardened practice of a soldier, but it was sure a ton of fun. As Shu went up the door Takeshi stood against the opposite wall, folding his hands behind his back as he leaned against it, waiting patiently for their friend. When the younger boy assaulted the door and shouted through it almost he cringed, figuring that was probably slightly overkill. Smiling meekly he stepped closer to Shu, tapping his brother on the shoulder. "Um... Maybe try not shouting? If she gets angry she's going to-" And in mid sentence, when the door opened, Takeshi instantly stepped back, putting his hands up defensively with a nervous smile on his face. Thankfully for him Yumi didn't seem annoyed, albeit she did look like she had just woken up.

Yumi blinked away the sleep from her eyes, staring at Takeshi confused for a moment. Why did he look so nervous? Registering that Shu had been there as well she looked down, smiling at the young Saiyan kindly. "Hey Shu... Hey Takeshi... What were you yelling about...?" Stretching her arms up over her head she gave a yawn, squeaking slightly as she did so before rubbing at one of her eyes. "Oh... Right... Explore the ship. Uh... Sure, sounds fun. Just give me a moment." That was kind of a bummer, she had just been taking a rather nice nap until they had shown up. She was curious about the ship she supposed, and now was a good a time as any to take a look around. Shuffling to the desk where she'd left her shoes Yumi dropped into the seat, carefully slipping each on before getting back up. Scratching behind one ear she went back to the brothers, stepping out of the room and letting the door shut behind her. It was probably for the best they woke her up, otherwise she'd be awake probably for most of this trip and be quite bored. "Right... Uh... Lead the way I guess?"

"Your mother was right, you're doing very well for someone whose never spoken a word of it. Either that or I'm even a better teacher than I thought." Vegeta would allow himself that little treat, even if it was a jest. Now that he had all of the sounds it was only a matter of piecing them together to form the entire word. After giving it a few tries he left it to T'charrl to chance, hoping he'd get it pretty quick. The first one was a little off, but rather quickly he got it down. There was a curious hard 'h' sound at the end, and there was still the matter of pitch, but the word was plenty clear enough that it could be understood. Beaming proudly he gave another nod, resisting the urge to clap. There was a curious elation that came with seeing your instruction pan out, one that he didn't quite get but found great pride in. "There, that's it. And don't worry if you don't sound exactly like the others when you say it, everyone has their own inflection when speaking. What do you think...?" Before he finished Vegeta leaned over, fixing the scouter back on his ear, "Do you think you can learn the language? Doesn't seem too difficult does it?"

Waiting for Yumi to respond, he turned back to Takeshi, staring at him for a moment before smiling away at him, “Really?? Ooohhhh that sounds like fun”, he squeaked, bouncing on his feet a little, “We could go in there and fight together and train together and be really strong when we come out! Right??” Just when he was about done with his bouncing and jumping around, he turned quickly back to the door as it was opened, seeing Yumi standing there. Smiling at her, he slowly tilted his head as he noticed how tired she was, hoping she had managed to get some shuteye. Giving her a quick nod in response, he looked inside the room passed her for a second before up to her again as she moved away, “Uh huh! There should be a lot of things around we haven’t seen yet and there’s no monsters so it should be interesting especially now that this place is ours… and we get to train somewhere! Is it not nice?” Once she came back, he smiled at her before nodding, grabbing hold of Takeshi’s hand before bouncing away, “Takeshi! Where we go? Where we go? Is there something up here? Or down here? Which way is up and down?”

T’charrl felt a little strange talking like this, their noises were very precise and used the tongue a lot, something he wasn’t really sure he could accomplish all that well without trying exceptionally hard. It was strange, but maybe he just needed to build up his tongue muscles a little more. Looking to Vegeta, he smiled slightly as he rubbed his throat a little, “…Really…? Maybe our languages are sort of similar?” he asked only to frown a little, “Then again maybe not…” He didn’t really know much of the language, but he was going to practice with that a little more and try and get that sound right. Looking down at himself, his eyes soon quickly went to Vegeta again. He definitely wondered how much there was to this language and how he’d get it, he just hoped his voice wasn’t too annoying, “You think it’ll be okay? I’m probably worrying over other things too much”, he spoke, smiling nervously, “Like my voice and how I speak. I think…I think I can learn the language, I’m hoping I can...I mean, I’d suspect this scouter can break and fall off pretty easily, huh? Then I wouldn’t be able to speak to others without it! It’s a little hard…but possible”.

"Uh... Well I don't know how much stronger we'll actually be... But sure? We'll improve a little bit maybe." It wouldn't be much more than some simple sparring if anything, punches and kicks. Not exactly the kind of training that spurred you to gained new leaps and bounds and strength in, but it was fun at least. Plus anything beat just lying around waiting for a meal to come up, or to fall asleep. Yumi had agreed to come along for the session, looking like they had just woken her up from a nice cozy slumber. Drowsy was probably the only time Yumi wasn't going to get angry at something, so that much Takeshi was pleased with. Smiling happily as they left her room he gasped in surprise as his hand was snatched, tripping over himself slightly when Shu began to bounce and run off. "S-Shu, relax! I know where to go!" he stammered, giving a small laugh of amusement. Slowing his brother's jovial gallop to a walk he turned them around, gesturing down the hallway. "We were going the wrong way, this is back to our room. The training room is down on the next level, we'll take the elevator." That wasn't all too far off either, and there were plenty of them around the ship anyways. Now... If he remembered right it was in the center of the lower deck with entrances from both halls. It was not unlike a gymnasium from a school in scale, but it was used purely for training. This time dragging Shu along he looked over to Yumi, raising an eyebrow and smiling amused. "I didn't realize you were so tired before. How quickly did you fall asleep?"

Huh... Training, so that was it. A far leap from simple exploration, not that she minded terribly. Training was always nice, and she did enjoy the company of Shu and Takeshi. It was a little difficult to be so chipper having just gotten out of bed though, she dragged her feet still as she followed after them. With half-lidded eyes she looked at the older boy, cocking her head to the side slightly before reaching up and scratching an ear. "Oh... Twenty minutes...? I don't know..." she commented, yawning again. "When you're squeezed like that it makes you really sleepy, I guess. Plus Vegeta gave me some pain stuff and it made me reeeeeally tired..." It was quite pleasant though, the numbness of her body was all but gone. She still felt incredibly groggy, evident in her behavior, but at least she wasn't sore anymore. Just to try and limber her tired self up a bit she rolled both of her shoulders, unable to suppress yet another yawn before smiling at Shu. "I'd be surprised if we get stronger from this... But hey, if we have fun that's just as good." With a cheeky smile she reached over and pinched his cheek, giggling airily. "I bet I'm stronger than you anyways, little Shu."

With enough practice T'charrl ought to be able to hold simple conversations in no time. They had spent ten minutes and he'd already mastered three sounds and a word, in an entirely alien language. That was no small feat, Vegeta was skeptical even he had the capacity for that. "I don't know how similar they are, but maybe you've just got a knack for it? Some people are quite adept at learning languages and you might be one. Which would be very handy, then we wouldn't need these to talk," he answered, tapping his scouter. "Just think too, once you're moderately fluent and you return home you could even teach your family and the others. If you're all going to be space travelers it'll help to be able to talk to people after all." He often did wonder how so many worlds knew the common language, or as they called it on Earth, English. It raised a ton of questions, and he was curious if their own language had in fact originated elsewhere and wasn't even their own. Made sense seeing as the humans as a species weren't that far into space travel compared to other races. What an interesting idea, he'd have to research that later. Looking across at T'charrl he smiled again, sitting down on the desk he had and shaking his head. "Everything you're doing so far is fine, I assure you. Everyone has their own dialect and voice, and just because yours is different does not mean it's inherently wrong. And these scouters are fairly durable actually, I've seen them take a good hit and remain in one piece. But I wouldn't subject it to too much stress."

Shu was pretty happy to be out with the three of them, giving him the same feeling as being back on Master Roshi’s island again. It was a nice memory to remember, them all training together to learn a technique that was powerful but pure in the right hands. He did miss the island as well as the smell of the sea when he was there, letting out a sigh at such a memory. Looking to Takeshi again, he giggled a little and decided to walk a little more normal, feeling pretty amused, “Okay! Wrong way, now right way”, he nodded, scratching his stomach, “Elevator! That’s still a strange word….” He did wonder what it was, but if it was going to take them to the training room to at least see where it was then he would be quite happy to go and check it out. He really didn’t know much when it came to technology, but if it was going to help him find places then he was happy enough to go and check the places out.

Looking to Yumi when she spoke up, he smiled as he listened to her and just how tired she was, feeling a little bad that he dragged her out of bed to go on an exploration, “Ooooh, squeezing really does make you tired…it makes me tired”, he nodded, giving her a smile, “I felt really tired before, but I feel fine now! I fell on the ground for no reason”. He would enjoy their time better if he wasn’t making Yumi feel all drowsy, but he did hope it would make her feel better to be talking to them and walking along with them. Giggling when she gave his cheek a pinch, he rubbed it quickly as he looked up at her, “Noooo! Well maybe, I don’t know how strong I am”, he said quickly, shaking his head, “We could see sometime! I don’t know if we’re allowed to train in the room for training without Mister Vegeta knowing…” Feeling pretty happy as he walked along, that happiness soon quickly turned to curiosity when a strange smell became present. He could have sworn it was like the food hall, only more like food rather than hall. Looking around, he soon turned his attention to the floor when he felt something between his toes, lifting his foot momentarily and finding crumbs stuck to his foot, “Ooh? Uhhh, I have food on my foot…”

T’charrl was feeling pretty confident, hoping he would please his mother and father when he finally returned. He wondered if he could talk to them through the communications sometime and show off his skill to them, but he would need to know more than ‘hello’ to show off, at least. Running his claws around his scouter, he nodded a little before looking down slightly, “Yeah, I guess I’ll have a lot to teach others, huh?” he spoke, looking back up, “I mean, how to talk and about what I am. I can’t lead people if I’m hiding something from them”. It would be pretty difficult to convince others that he wasn’t dangerous, but hopefully he’d be able to get some training and finally gain control of his powers and not be stuck in this form. Rubbing his claws together, he tilted his head slightly before trying to remove the scouter with a few taps, finding it pretty well stuck unless he pulled it off, “Too much stress? Hopefully my powers don’t cause it too much stress…I mean, I think it’s only Takeshi’s friends who have seen what my powers can become. Learning your language is definitely a step forward, but hopefully it helps the most concerning my worries over the scouter and whether it might come under too much stress by accident”.

Shu certainly wasn't the only one enthusiastic about training. While in reality all it would be was a light sparring session Takeshi still looked forward to it, or to any activity really. Correcting their path the older boy dragged his brother along, leaving the shuffling-zombie that was Yumi to her own devices. So this is what she was like when she just woke up, it was kind of funny, he'd never seen it before. So she wasn't a morning person, either that or really needed rest. Raising an eyebrow and looking at Shu he then smirked, wrapping an arm around the younger boy abruptly and giving him a squeezy-hug. "Squeezing makes you tired huh? So are you going to fall asleep?" he teased, squeezing again before letting him go. The smile kind of waned when the collapsing was mentioned, though there wasn't all that much worry over it now seeing as Shu was alright. More of a curiosity than an immediate problem if nothing else. Glancing then at Yumi he gave her a basic look over, wondering if she had any visible injuries that he could spot out. Nope, she seemed perfectly fine, just drowsy. Maybe the way she healed was going to sleep, made sense kind of. Takeshi wondered if Viral would end up napping all the time once he felt better, they'd have to see.

Yumi giggled as she pinched Shu's cheek, as ever enjoying teasing and babying him. 16 or not he acted a great deal younger than that, and his knowledge was a fair bit less, so he was like a little kid more than a teenager. It's what made toying with him so much fun, plus he was just adorable. With a sneaky smile she waved a hand dismissively, pointing to herself with her thumb. "If I say it's okay then we can do it, Vegeta's not going to tell me no," she boasted, grinning. Well he probably would if it was meant to be off limits, but she'd use the benefit of their friendship to try and sneak in some training. Since sparring with Viral hadn't exactly panned out she was ready for something, and grogginess aside she did actually feel quite better from earlier. Watching Shu she was a bit confused when he abruptly stopped, and even more so as he lifted up a foot and stared at the sole of it. So there was food on his foot, and looking down the hall she could see a trail, leading all the way to the nearest elevator. Weird, why would someone eat in the hall while the mess hall was nice. Plus it was a long way from the mess hall, so it seemed a bit silly to come all this way. "I say we find who's making a mess of our ship and surprise them." Yumi said, smiling as she pounded one hand into the other. Grabbing Shu's hand as well as Takeshi's she began to pull them towards the elevator, a bit peppier now than before. Hopefully it was Gobo, she'd love to tear that slob a new one.

"I suppose when all is said and done I can return to Kaesstra for a bit, maybe give you a hand teaching," Vegeta offered, smiling. "After all, you're going to be starting a space program as well, and it'll help to have someone familiar with it to oversee everything." There may even be other worlds that would need assistance too, now that was an exciting idea. To think that once every planet was free they all may start traveling, that was an astounding prospect. And if he could play some part in helping every race become space-faring then that would be incredible too. Maybe he would leave Capsule Corp under someone else's care for a little while, that way he could get his fix of traveling before finally remaining home. "Your power isn't going to stress the scouter, I mean abusing it too much. Dropping it, placing it in places it shouldn't go, having it be struck. Just regular use ought not to harm it, they're awfully durable otherwise." Hm, curious, Vegeta wasn't familiar really with T'charrl's powers. He knew the Kaesstrian could open a portal to Otherworld, which in of itself was no small feat, but there was other parts to it as well? That was something that was going to have to be addressed. "If you think learning our language is handy then all the more reason we should keep going. Ready to learn more?"

Shu had no idea how food had managed to end up this far away from the food hall, but somebody was definitely dragging it around and probably had a good bit of it in their grasp. It was certainly interesting, seeing as how everyone had ate not that long ago. Sniffing around, he squeaked when he was squeezed, giggling away, “Noooo! I don’t want to fall asleep on the floor!” he smiled, wiggling his hands around for a moment before he was released, turning to Takeshi a little, “I’m okay though! Maybe I just got really bored”. He would be fine on making excuses to why he fainted if they didn’t think he was suffering from something and they didn’t know what, making him feel a little sad by the thought. He was fine, just hopefully they would see that he was fine too.

Brushing down his feet a little bit, he looked to Yumi quickly, bouncing a little on his toes as he moved around, “I just don’t want to be doing something without someone else knowing I’m doing it because you all get worried if I do things by myself”, he nodded quickly, smiling at her. Deciding to direct his attention downwards again to see where the mess was coming from, the direction it lead to was strange yet handy considering it was where they were going anyway. Staring down at the ground curiously, he tilted his head a little before looking back up to Yumi as she grabbed his hand, “Okay! Hopefully it’s not something from the planet we were on because that would make me sad”, he nodded, walking on off towards the elevator with Yumi, trying to avoid the food from getting it between his toes; he didn’t much like the thought of standing on something that had been in someone’s mouth. Watching the trail, as they reached the elevator he thought it was strange that the door looked a little scratched, maybe from the monster that was on their ship before.

T’charrl knew it was very important, maybe one time he would be able to learn how to read it as well and find his way around the ship. He had a lot of learning to do, but that was all part of the deal with coming out to space and seeing the world for what it was worth. He was really willing to learn and trying his hardest, but there was always going to be that limitation to how much he could learn all at once without getting too tired or for Vegeta to run out of steam during sessions. Rubbing his chest a little, he frowned slightly on the subject of his scouter, hoping it would be able to cope unless he’d be able to take it off quick enough, but then again if none of them had scouters on and he lost control then he wouldn’t be able to regain his mind without recognising them. Giving a little nod, he straightened himself up slightly only to lean forward again, “I’m ready! I can do this, maybe I’ll be able to speak a whole sentence…”

Takeshi laughed as Shu squirmed about, releasing his brother and giving him a bright grin. "Fell asleep because you were bored huh? Well I guess we'll have to make this extra fun for you so that doesn't happen again." That didn't seem likely, they'd had one heck of an eventful day so the thought of anyone being bored seemed silly. While it would be nice to have an explanation he wasn't content with lying to himself, there had to be a good reason for Shu collapsing. Maybe it was just exhaustion and he was over thinking things, no reason to rule that out really. Squatting down to examine the food on the floor Takeshi swiped up a bit of it, rubbing it between his fingers before grimacing and hastily wiping his hand off on the floor. "Yuck, it's sticky! Why is it sticky!" he whined, shaking his hand then to make sure it was clean. Okay, that was a little gross. He couldn't even tell what the food was, the crumbs were much too small to be able to guess. Standing back up he looked over at Shu wiping his feet before gasping in surprise as his hand was grabbed and he was yanked forward by Yumi. "Do we really need to hunt down whoever did this? Who cares if they made a mess?"

"We're going to find who did it because they shouldn't be doing it, that's why. And I'm betting it's that wenches husband that did it, the slob..." A nap had fixed a lot, but Yumi was still awfully cross with Mizuna. That woman... She still had no business being on the ship. Smiling slightly in Shu's direction she gave his hand a small tug, shaking her head. "We don't mind if you do things on your own, Shu. We just like to do things with you instead." The little guy definitely seemed to prefer company as opposed to being alone, no question about that. If it wasn't Takeshi with him then she was, or now T'charrl too, she supposed. He certainly had plenty of outlets should he ever need a playmate or companion for anything. Reaching the elevator Yumi stopped the three of them, releasing both boys' hands and looking at the door with a frown. It was scratched around the panel and the door, not terribly deep, but still scratched. Okay, so that more or less ruled out it being one of the Saiyans, they couldn't do that. Shu's suggestion made the hair on the back of her neck crawl, she really hoped it wasn't one of those things. "Only one way to find out..." Reaching out she pressed the call button, standing tensely as the elevator rose up. Waiting with baited breath as the doors opened she was perplexed to see nothing inside but a small pile of food crumbs. Stepping inside she looked down at the pile before the boys, gesturing for them to come in. "We gonna find out what's doing this or just stand around?"

Takeshi was really lost as to the concern over some food crumbs, until Shu mentioned the monsters from before. That shouldn't be right, he thought they had all vanished when they killed the big one. Not only would this mean he was wrong but it would also mean the planet was still in danger, as were Shu's new friends. Nodding in reply to Yumi he followed her into the elevator, stepping against the wall for Shu to get in. Hopefully he would be okay with the tight quarters, they were only bound to be in here for a few seconds. "Shu... I really hope you're wrong. I don't want to see another one of those things ever."

Shu gave Takeshi a quick look when he went to pick up some of the food, rubbing it before suddenly deciding it was too nasty to touch. That was certainly a strange action he took, but maybe he was planning on eating it instead, “Why would you pick it up? Are you hungry?” he asked curiously, tilting his head a little. It was an awfully strange action to take, but he probably shouldn’t be going into the subject too much if that was how Takeshi liked to do things. Feeling a little more curious to what it could be, he scratched his chest before looking up to Yumi, giving a little smile. She should know what to do, seeing as how she was the one who was more determined to find the one leaving the mess. Maybe she was annoyed that they were essentially stealing food, especially when they had just eaten some.

Yumi certainly looked a lot more awake now than she did a few minutes ago upon seeing the mess, making Shu feel pretty happy. She was able to function better now and that was good, seeing as how he was feeling bad for dragging her out of bed just because he thought it would be nice to go adventuring around the place with her. The ship was absolutely huge and even though he didn’t like being along in the corridors, he was fair excited to see what was in and around the area. Staring up at her, he gave a quick nod and looked away, “I know, I just don’t like being on my own in this place”, he spoke quickly, “I’m scared of the tight spaces, but I shouldn’t be because I’m just having a bad time”.

Standing just at the elevator, he listened to it slowly rising up, tilting his head at the changing symbols above it. It was certainly a strange machine, shame he couldn’t read too. Watching as it opened up, it certainly seemed like the person who took the food went down in it, his eyes quickly going to Yumi before to Takeshi. He felt a little nervous at first, but once Yumi had gone in and Takeshi stepped to the side, he hesitated at first before slowly moving in only to dash to Yumi and make a sudden grasp for her waist. Feeling a little better just from doing that, he looked to Takeshi quickly, frowning, “Well…if it was, wouldn’t we feel bad?” he asked, looking to the buttons on the wall. It appeared as if one of the very bottom buttons had food stuck to it, probably saying where they went, “Would one be able to use those things too…?”

"I was just trying to figure out what it was. Not like I tasted it or anything..." Takeshi replied, pouting slightly. Curiosity killed the cat, or in this case led to picking up some pre-chewed food. Wiping his hand once more on his pant leg for good measure he followed alongside Yumi to the elevator, following the trail all the way. Chalk up the scratches on the door and they had a proper mystery on their hands. Neat, they never really had anything like this before, it was kind of fun. Not so much if one of those monsters turned out to be on board, but for now it was an interesting little caper. "The curious case of the missing food..." he mumbled, smiling amused. Now all they needed was a trench coat, a funny hat and a pipe and they'd be real detectives. Letting Yumi take the lead he stepped into the elevator after her, sliding to the side so Shu had room to get in. Knowing how his brother handled tight quarters Takeshi smiled sympathetically, not enjoying putting him in this position. Instantly when he came inside he latched onto Yumi for dear life, clearly not wanting to be in here. At least it was only going to be a brief trip.

Yumi looked down at Shu surprised when he latched onto her, smiling sympathetically. "It's okay, everyone has something they're afraid of." she assured, giving the little boy's hair a gentle rubbing. "Like your brother for instance, he's afraid of bugs, right Takeshi?"

"A-Am not!" Takeshi retorted, blushing before crossing his arms and sulking. "I just don't want one crawling on me..."

"Riiiight... Or anywhere near you for that matter." Laughing lightly Yumi looked over at the buttons, noticing the one covered in food as well. So whatever or whoever was wandering around went down then, at least they were on its trail. "I don't know if they could use it, I'd think their hands are too big..." Thinking about the creatures and their bulky hands there was no way they could have hit such a tiny button. Wrinkling her nose in disgust when she pressed the call button again she kept a secure arm around Shu, wanting to ease the kid's worries as much she could. The elevator began to descend, jutting a little initially and probably near throwing Shu into a panic attack. The rest of the way was smooth, and in no time the doors slid back open, revealing more of the food trail. Ushering Shu out of the cramped quarters Yumi looked down both ends of the hallway, finding the trail continued on to the right, towards the middle of the ship. Huh... Where was this thing going?

Shu was definitely feeling scared of the cramped space, but with Takeshi and Yumi there to keep him safe there was nothing he couldn’t handle, hopefully. He was definitely a little more than worried, but if he could keep them close to him then he should be completely fine. This room was similar to the one from the place Korian came from, but even then it freaked him out when he went in it. Looking up to Takeshi, his tail curled around his own tail, a frown on his face for a moment, “I hope they didn’t take too much…or anything that might had been possibly fruit”, he squeaked, watching as the doors closed on the elevator before he squeezed onto Yumi a little tighter. Being in a box was scary, he had been in one way too many times and every other time it had been a bad thing.

Looking up to Yumi, he smiled a little when she petted his head, feeling a little better upon looking at someone instead of completely shutting everything out. Looking to Takeshi at the bug comment, he squeaked a laugh, finding it still amusing that he was scared of bugs. He couldn’t understand it, most of them were harmless and if they did hurt then it was just a sting or a nip, “All crawly crawling everywhere…and tasty too!” He definitely found it pretty amusing, looking back to Yumi as if wondering if she might be afraid of them too. Tilting his head a little, he soon looked to the buttons and watched as she pressed it only for him to yelp when it suddenly moved. Lifting his feet off the ground, he stood on his tail instead, staring down at the floor before letting out a sigh, “It’s not falling…it’s okay!”

Keeping a tight hold of Yumi was definitely helping, the weird feeling of light-headedness while going down was definitely pretty interesting too. Pressing himself against Yumi, the moment the elevator stopped the doors opened up, the food looking pretty dominant here. He did wonder whether they were going backwards, but then again the food hall was up near where they came from and this was definitely elsewhere. It was a little dark down the hallway, but the food wasn’t hard to see. Slowly moving off Yumi, he jumped out after Yumi directed him, looking back to them quickly before down at the food, “Thing? So maybe it’s not someone we know?” he asked, watching his feet with the crumbs everywhere, “What is down here, anyway…? Adventure!”
