Physical Description:

Samantha stands at 5' 6 and weighs about 130, her body lithe and toned from working endless hours in the gym to obtain strength. Her long crimson hair hangs to her waist and curls here and there as it sees fit, the soft wavy mass quick to ignite should she be in danger, or her adrenaline get out of whack. Her olive colored skin tans easily in the fun and she has a small birthmark just above her lip on the right side of her face. She carries herself with confidence, her shoulder narrow, but squared out most every time she's in public. Her feminine curves make it a bit difficult to deny her and the full pout of her lovely pink lips is a temptation that is used to her advantage at every turn. Long slender legs are the result of dancing every time she gets a chance and running mile after mile in an effort to feel free.

Personality:

Sam is highly independent and quick to put someone in their place should they need it, her confidence almost bordering egotism, but staying safely in the boundaries laid before her. She's a rule breaker unless the cause she believes in calls for something else. Very strong in her opinions and willing to go to the mat for what she believes in, she is often willing to listen to someone's argument until she deems it unworthy or them invalid. She loves with a fiery passion that burns along her veins and hates with the same high level of emotion, but finds herself highly put out by emotionally unstable people. Crying for no reason is a pet peeve and she's rarely about to show compassion or sympathy unless the situation really calls for such an effort.

She is dangerous in her decision making and a bit of a wild card which has saved her life many times and yet called her loyalty to her mentors into question. She acts impulsively and finds herself in the darkest of alleys some nights in the hopes of burning off some energy instead of saving the world. Never one to give up on anything, she's been drug from several fights with little left of her, her ability to judge when enough is enough is just not in tact. She's got a lot of growing up to do and doesn't see it that way, giving her mentors a run for their money and maybe just the challenge they need to loosen their own restraints and ride on the wild side for a moment in time.

Powers, Skills & Talents:

Genetic Perfection: Samantha was born with the same abilities as her mother, her father having experimented on the beautiful woman before loosing her to childbirth. She is quick and strong as well as able to manipulate fire and create her element from nothing.

Weaknesses, Disabilities & General Flaws - She is compulsive, cannot be submerged into water and is rather argumentative. It's hard to tell which side she's on most days.

Equipment:

Sam totes on her body only a small zippo lighter that her father used to carry around, her body capable of combusting into flames and causing quite a situation around her. She is excellent in hand-to-hand combat and has to work at keeping her hotter elements under wraps in an effort to disable someone and not right out kill them.

History:

Samantha was born with her mutations, her mother first being experimented on by her mad-scientist father and the poor woman dying in childbirth. Sam grew up under the care of her father, the great Doctor Ignit. He lost his mind in her early teens and was put away in a nearby asylum, Sam visiting him everyday and slipping her small hand into his cell to light it up with what she hoped would be a promise of a brighter future to come. She worked her way through high school and took care of herself, the girl very withdrawn in her early teens years in an effort to not let anyone see or know her true secrets. After a situation during her senior prom, her emotions got the best of her and she burned down the gymnasium, many of her classmates realizing that she was a mutant and calling for the county to lock her up like her father.

Out of fear and anger she ran, using her powers in the worst of ways over a two year spell until one night she encountered the Black Widow, the woman so mature and sleek. Sam saw something she wanted to be - to emulate - and agreed to come into the S.H.I.E.L.D training facility for a two year trial period. The Widow promised that Dr. X could help her to tame her emotions and use her abilities for good, but Sam highly doubted the seeming lie. With no where else to go, the young girl followed the older woman in tow and make it clear that she played by no one's rules and did things her way. The Widow just nodded and laughed.. everyone says that.

Extra:
More than anything Sam wants a normal relationship and to live a normal life. The darker side of her personality is fueled by the lack of normalcy in her world.
