Name: James Orchard
Age: 16
Hometown: Seattle, Washington
Ultimate talent: Botany
Appearance: With his pale blue eyes, James is a rather boring looking kid. He doesn't dress up fancy, and you would have trouble picking him out of the crowd...aside from his short green hair. He usually just wears a plain blue t-shirt and a pair of jeans that seem to always have dirt on the knees. A pair of sneakers that used to be white which have since taken a stain of green and brown. He seems to like sporting a grey hoodie, which is usually tied around his waist as he finds it to warm to wear it all the time, but would rather not go without it on his persons.
Personality: James likes plants more than people, he likes the forests more than the city, but you would have a hard time getting this out of him, as he scarcely starts conversations on his own that are not about plants. He has always been a shy boy, but rather content in his own doings. He knows he is an introvert, and he is perfectly happy remaining that way. He thought of being a hermit at one point in time, and it still crosses his mind every so often.
Strengths:
Encyclopedia knowledge of plants
Great knowledge of bugs
Super quick reading skills
Weaknesses:
Finds it difficult to speak his mind in a group setting
Can be awkward when talking with people
Fears:
Bears. He ran into a bear once while in the woods. It didn't notice him, but it scared him badly enough to scar him. Even teddy bears are a bit much for the boy.
Deforestation.
Large groups.
Claustrophobia.
History: James grew up in the city, much to his own displeasure, as he found that he didn't fit in, and never liked it. When he turned five, his family decided to go camping, they then realized what it was that was missing from James' life. He was naturally attracted to nature, he had a surreal connection with plants. He would state the best present he ever got as a child was not a shiny new bike or laptop, but the potted plants which he has taken ever so great care of over the past years. His parents promised him that when he graduates from high school that they would purchase him his own greenhouse, such a dream is what allows him to overcome his fears and anxieties and press forward. He has read almost every book in his local library concerning plants and anything that could be related to them.
