Nova, Dorian, and Elindel with the help of the elf captain and four elven Pikeman. "Keep an eye out for them they can be anywhere." She said. The elf captain nodded and responded with a "Yes ma'am,.." As they went about the forest looking for those that Nova and Ishmael left behind. They began heading towards the edge of the forests.
Ryung felt it safe to tell the little secret of him and Hotaru to Ishmael. "Do you find anything odd about my daughter? Such as her ability to carry a object taller then herself without a problem?" He asked the man. "To be honest with you we are not exactly human. If not why are we allowed here? You may ask. I am a nine tailed fox or Gumiho in other cultures. We are forest guardians and are no threat to the elves. Hotaru is only half though. I fell for a human woman to make that story short."

When Xukehzur's optic orb informed him of what it saw, he telepathically bade it to mentally map as much of the city as it could percieve without entering any of its structures or passing through any magically active areas that might affect it or reveal its presence to the elves, and to also include the terrain within two miles of its walls. Hopefully the construct would then be able to produce major images of this area for them upon its return, in effect, compiling and displaying an illusory magic model with perspectives that could be oriented and manipulated for their viewing needs.

Xukhezur and Lu'Vayla also needed to decide how forthcoming they would have to be regarding their origins when speaking to the elves and refugees, in order to prove their rightful claim to the items the thieves carried. They were about two hours away, given the terrain that lay ahead of them and the capacity of their steeds, unless they decided to use a means of teleporation. However, they were reluctant to bypass the outermost patrols of the elves and wanted to give them every opportunity to respond to their impending arrival.

Jameson~

Jameson nodded thoughtfully, he would wait outside. "Do not stay long, but rest up, the longer you stay the harder it is to leave. You may also find that once you leave this place you will be unable to speak of it. It is the side effect of the spell put on this place. Bathing in the waters will heal your wounds and rejuvenate your mind." Then, with a tip of his hat, Jameson, Keeper of the Silver Glade, departed to the land of Kurn.

He leaned on a tree on the forests edge, playing his Harmonica casually. He hoped that they did not stumble accross the mage in his absence.

Within The Glade~~

"Bah! This will never work! No, no, no!" It was then that the White Mage of Arcarus stepped out from behind the waterfall to the back of the glade. "What has that mad wolf done this time! Leading all kinds of dirty vermin into my home!" It was then that Samuel raised his head to greet his guests. He smiled as he set eyes upon Cassandra and Valkan. "Aah! So you have returned! But who are these strange others you have brought with you?" Samuel questioned as he turned to the others. "Are you enjoying my newest spell? It adapts to the one it influences you know! Aaah yes it is quite the grand little charm." Samuel looked to the dragon for a moment and shook his head in a disapproving fashion. "Too large. Dhas Roh!" With a flip of his hand a bright light flashed where the dragon stood and in it's place stood a silver kitten. This was of course a light bending spell that made the object appear to be something else. The creature it was cast upon would not be aware of its effects, unless of course it could somehow see what those around it were seeing. "Much better!" He paused a moment scratching his chin as he did so, staring at the now silver kitten. "You are looking for me aren't you? Yes, your magical aura gives it all away, well my dear dragon.." He thought the rest '...it seems that you will be disappointed, I am but an illusion of light cast by the real Samuel. I am only capable of minor light spells and will be of little help to finding the real one. I can however assist you in finding another clone, yes I do believe I have the tomb around here somewhere...' His thoughts trailed of as he rummaged through his cloak and produced a tomb of light magic from within his robes. "Ah ha! Here it is!" He announced after searching through it for a while.

Burn with Vengeance, for my fires rise fast
Act with swiftness, for in seven days time,
The light clones of Arcus will be forced to rewind,
In order to find the first
You must first find the last,
Travel now,
To the city of glass.

"Well, that is quite strange, I do not remember being so as fond of riddles as the bloke who wrote this, well I guess everything can't match up with the original." Samuel's light clone then vanished, leaving behind only the book it had previously revealed.

(As EWillden said earlier, the search for Samuel has begun. Now, since I do not want him to be found to quickly, but Ewillden wants him to be incorporated sooner than I had planned I propose a challenge. Three light clones, each with a book of light must be found before Samuel's location can be determined, this is all said in the first book, along with the hint to where the second is and a easy spell of light that summons the first clone. Anyways, once all books are brought together than The real Samuels location will be reveiled, It will be beyond epic trust me. If you ain't cool with this little side plot than I will just rewrite this post and give you a hint to where he is now, let me now Ewilden :D)

Suddenly the sound of a very familiar tune rang out and Nova rose a hand to stop everyone's movements. "That is Jameson,... He is a friend that we gained in the sewers." She explained. "Find him and we find the others." She said and they followed the sound of the music until finally she found him leaned up against a tree. She rushed over to him her kinsmen following behind her. He would see Dorian and Elendil but the rest would be most unfamiliar. The elf Captain came up beside her and the pikemen took up positions around them.

The Captain nodded his head toward Jameson. "Greetings, we have come to collect those you have lead here. Where are they? We will need every able body available."

Cassandra had to cover her mouth as Silver went from a large dragon to a tiny kitten. It was all she could do to stop herself from laughing. The Mage seemed to converse with Silver too who looked at Cassandra with a raised brow. He had not the slightest idea he was being cast a illusion spell on. Something about a Samuel and she wondered what this was all about. The dragon was looking for someone and why? What was so special about this man. Then he vanished and saw a time hit the ground. She did not fight as much in the city so she did not need to rest. She then decided to exit the glade. When she reappeared in Kurn she found Jameson and Nova together. With her was more elves this time. "I see you come back with a answer,.... I was waiting here for you." She said. Like the spells effect indicated she lost all memory on how she got there. She then looked to Jameson. "Who in the nine hells is Samuel?"
Silver was oblivious to his new form so all the looks he was given was peculiar. He was happy to see his quarry but frowned when it was revealed to be a illusion of light magic. Samuel made his search into a puzzle and he did not enjoy that. With the illusions words ending it vanished and in its place the tome. He nodded grabbing the tome in his hands. "Heal your wounds in the lake and take in its effects and follow us out. I will explain everything on the other side." He said and proceeded to leave. When he did so he lost all memory on how he got to the glade. The tome still in hand. He looked to Jameson and sneered. "You did know a Samuel did you?" He asked Jameson as he stood in the forest. He then looked to see Nova and her kinsmen had returned.
Ishmael was shocked a little to find out Hotaru and her fathers secret. They were not human but Nine tailed foxes. Well her father was and she was only half. The man explained everything though and it answered any questions he would have asked. "You do know that Hotaru will likely leave with us when we go to move against Eliphas right?" He asked. "What do you say about that?"
At the gates the Ents could hear the sounds of horses and they were not from within the city either. They proceeded to the middle of the path as the elven city's main gate. They stood as formidable guardians as they blocked the path if Xuhkaxur and his partner's path. As they got ever closer they rose their hands. "Stop!.... What business do you have?"

While the group began to regather itself a beast hidden by shadow watched. It's job was simply scouting the forest. It did not know why the great Eliphas wanted it to do so but it did out of fear of being eaten by Barghest. The creature was a simple little demon, something small and easy to hide. It was a imp leaping from tree to tree. It heard music and suddenly went to the ground covering its ears. What awe full music, it thought. It creeped on the forest floor and saw a gathering taking place. Elves, a man, then appeared a drow elf and then a dragon. All that mattered nothing but what the dragon held in its hand was a tome. Could that be what master was looking for? He scratched his chin as he spied on the group. It was much to weak to try and steal it. The imp felt it best to retreat and let its master know. To avoid capture if spotted he simply just poofed with a teleportation spell. Remnants of his smell and aura remained though for a silver wolf's Keene sense of smell.

Jameson~~

The Silver Wolf played his melancholy tune, as the imp of dark stood just outside of sight, watching in silence and awaiting his allies. James took in his smell, being sure not to forget it. As he was about to pounce the beast an elvish scouting division arrived from the west. He simply gestured behind him as his comrades walked out of the woods. The effect of returning seemed to others like the returning person was simply walking out of the forest. Jameson had thought up that one, he grinned at his wit.

Jameson was immediately bombarded with many questions from many sources. Most wondering about a man named Samuel. Jameson chuckled to himself softly. "We shall see. We shall see." Jameson took notice of the tomb which the silver dragon carried on its person. 'Give it to the elf' he thought to the beast. 'That book was meant for her, yes it would seem Nova is the one who should carry that particular tomb.' Jameson stood up from his tree and placed his Harmonica back in its robe after his thought.

He looked to the captain and shook his hand in greeting. "Well met, I take it the Queen has granted us entrance into her city?" The Captain gave him a reassuring nod as Jameson confirmed with a nod of his own. "Good, these are most of us, However it does seem a few have yet too find their way out. I shall wait for them here. The rest of you may go on." Jameson then leaned back on the tree and pulled out his Harmonic once more, he then began to play.

(Sorry for takin over the Captain Nova, if you mind I can just edit :D)

Kyoto wanted to remain a while but the others leaving so soon after the appearance of the Mage made him re think that. Plus there was something odd about this place. It seemed as he stood there his desire to remain conflicted with his warrior side to leave. He simply closed his eyes turned around and exited the glade. He found himself standing in the forest once with everyone in place, except for Kyalia and Fenn who remained. It was when he arrived that Jameson said he would stay as the Captain took the rest of them.

Valken waited and was unable to catch any social cues through body language because of his awful eye sight. So again he waited, for something to happen almost completely ignoring Jameson until he heard an' incredible boom. Valken gave a yelp in pain and wrapped himself in his wings which shaped him into a sort of cocoon, the only reason why he wasn't able to pop up again and start rampaging was because he feel asleep near instantly.

By the time he came too his anger had subsided but his ears ached horribly. Thankfully the blast wasn't enough to pop his ear drums and make them bleed which then could turn into an' infection. Not only that but it would disable his sense of direction completely in which he would loose almost all of his sanity.
Valken didn't wake up to a scene because he could never see one. It was as if he was painted on a green wash on a canvas, just a mere haze of greens and opaque greys. In Valken's version there was only a silver atmosphere.
He kept where he was in his laying position, not at all impressed by the visuals but it didn't matter until he took a deep breath and his nose was filled with some of the most wonderful smells of the outdoors. Valken's paradise was smells and odors.
He kept his eyes closed so that he could focus on each scent, the smell of wet dewy grass, the crisp sweet morning air that went to the back of your throat, the smell of soaked wood just after rain, the coolness of the ground.
He heard the other voices but he tried his best to shut them out as his ears were already in pain. He spoke to no one and he refused to move the entire experience.

Eventually he was laying on the ground, outside the glade.

Nova looked to the tomb that Jameson was referring to and suddenly she felt familiar with it. It was as if she knew about it. She looked back to Jameson. "How do you know that it was meant for me?... It's odd when I look at it I feel some sort of attachment to it. " she responded to his words. She looked back at the book and she reached out for it and it seemed to move out of they great dragons hands and into her own. This was all to weird. Suddenly her ears twitched as she heard the sounds of something teleporting. She wasn't the only one either. Everyone of the elves did the same and she moved in its direction to see little demonic feet in the dirt. If that wasn't anymore of a sign its evil the remnants of its evil aura gave it away. She looked to the Captain and nodded. "He is right we must go ,I have a bad feeling the enemy knew that your glade was located here and what was hidden in it. We can't stay here too long or.... " she stopped figuring they could fill in the blanks. "If they wait to long Jameson enter your paradise and drag Kyalia and Fenn out if you have to." It wouldn't be safe for him to stay here too long either. Plus she wanted answers, he knew something she didn't. She also began to wonder a few things. She was assigned to the witch hunting force for some reason. Was it this? Was I supposed to meet Jameson? And this tomb?

------

Ryung looked to Hotaru who simply looked like she was a little scared of what his reaction would be. However his response was not what she would expect. "I see, I will let you do this Hotaru under one condition." He said and her head rose up and looked to him with a smile. "Anything father, just name it and I will do it." She said. Ryung looked to Ishmael and then back to Hotaru. "I am to go with you, I was afraid I lost you Hotaru, I will not go through that again. Plus your mother would sleep better at night knowing I was with you." She sort of blushed and was going to refuse his help but she stopped herself. "Alright, I suppose we could use you in the fight for the greater good." In response to this he simply nodded.

Someone else began to approach them and Ryung nodded to her. She was dressed in a beautiful white dress and looked to be a angel. "Ryung go with Hotaru to see her mother, I wish to speak with the paladin." She said and Ryung nodded and lead Hotaru away. The woman conversed with Ishmael as they moved off.

"You know who I am? I am Queen Emeraude of the Elves." She said. She then looked as she saw refugees in the distance. "Come, your friends will join us soon as well as Hotaru and her father."

Jameson shook his head as Nova urged him to rush. "Nay, this is not something that can be rushed Nova, I will wait, you go on." Jameson looked to Cassandra. He hoped she would understand. Jameson could handle himself, and he needed them to trust him. Despite the knowledge Nova clearly lacked, Jameson needed to establish this trust first. It was absolutely pertinent for their mission. Jameson continued once again to play his melancholy tune. He had already memorized the scent of the enemy who had stalked them. If he was too return Jameson would immediately be aware.

Jameson had no intentions of leaving until the final member's of their party emerged from the glade, he had something very personal to speak to the witch about. Something even her partner had no right hearing...

Frostwing was mostly just keeping his tongue for now. He was not familiar with how elves acted, but he did know they were powerful. He kept his head down and did not make too much contact.

Suddenly the imp would have forebode you will get when someone, or something, evil beyond compare is watching you. If he had the guts to look up, he would see a Bone Claw, the assassains of the undead world, and masters of their trade. Fast, strong, and skilled in stealth to the point they almost blend with shadows, these are forces to reckon with. It climbs down, and grips the imp with a unclawed hand, and says "shhhhhhhhhhh, it'ssssss okayyyyyy. This is just for my own pleasurrrrrrre." He puts the tips of his other hand on the imp's back. And lets his claws out.

This is a Bone Claw

Kyalia and Fenn were the last to wake up and Fenn was the first of the pair to wake up. Fenn had a vague headache that came with mind altering magic and she frowned. She hated when people used anything that affected her mind without her consent. However all magic ever is, is a battle of wills. So she pushed through and released her brain from the fog of the glade magic before touching Kyalia's temple, giving her an easier path to freedom.
"Where are we?" Kyalia groaned as she woke up.
"I don't know and I don't like it. It's probably Jameson's glade but it's full of mind magic." Fenn said as she stood up. She turned in a circle and found the exit. She started towards it, not wanting to spend another minute in this place. So of course when she left she shot a semi-dirty look at Jameson, but it wasn't really one of anger more just general annoyence and not at him, because she didn't think the glade was of his making and if it was than she had a new found respect for the man.
"Was all the mind magic really necessary?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow. Fenn shook her head as she tried to clear it of it's hazyness. Kyalia exited the Glade next and saw the elves had returned.
"Does that mean we're invited back to the city?" Kyalia asked quietly, but on the inside she was ecstatic.
"Apparently so." Fenn said, looking at Jameson with an inquisitive look. She could feel something was off with him, so she intended to find out.
"Kyalia, we'll be fine. I need to talk to Jameson and we can hold her own." Fenn said as Kyalia hesitated. Even though Kyalia was pissed to all seven hells, Fenn was still like a sister to her but Fenn could take care of herself and she had Jameson.
"Fine but catch up soon will ya?" Kyalia asked her before catching up to the rest of the group.
"You're glade is beautiful. It doesn't need all the mind magic surrounding it, or at least within it." Fenn told Jameson, seeing as he was the one who apparently needed to speak to her, or so she felt. Witches were a very intuitive species, it's why she can feel mind magic or if someone wants to talk to her(or to shut up before she really gets herself talked to her death). So she waited for a reply, keeping a sense of who was around them.

Xukhezur and Lu'Vayla brought their horses to a skittish halt at the southeast perimeter of the land held in check by the citizens and allies of the elven capital, to stand before the mighty treants and the interwoven barrier they formed between themselves. They used only a portion of their branches to create such, which left plenty free for them to bring to bear against any who sought to pass without permission. While the treants also animated and arranged the trees behind them to block the road, the mechamancer looked up and spoke up with in a steady voice, "We understand there to be conflict headed this way and while we come here for additional reasons of a more sensitive nature, we'd like extend you and yours our assistance in hopes of fostering mutually beneficial relations between our people." He then gave the treants a moment to consider what he had said, glancing over to his velocimaster companion to catch her nod of consensus.

Cassandra looked to Fenn and then back to Jameson,"Don't stay to long." She moved to Jameson and proceeded to kiss his cheek."You tell her whatever you need to tell her. Then you come straight to the elven city." She said. She then looked to the dragon and then Valken. "Come on Valken, off the floor, lets go.." She said as she looked to the elf captain and Nova. "It's your city so you should be the ones to lead us there."
Ishmael followed the queen willingly as the treants blocked the path of Xukhazur and his partner. The Ents nodded to the reasons. "You will have to wait until Captain Ruhdivar returns with the search party, only he has the authority to have the gates opened, explain to him your reasons."

Nova touched the tip of finger to the tomb and moved it along it's edges as she nodded to Cassandra, she turned to face the elf captain. "Let's go Ruhdivar, they will be fine, she is a witch after she can handle herself." She then looked to Jameson. "I will trust your ability to handle yourself, I will wait for you at my city. The Ents will be told to let you in. Once you are in I will be there." She said pausing. "I want you tell me everything you know." She looked to Captain Ruhdivar and nodded once more moving past him and the four elf Pikeman.

Ruhdivar looked to Kyalia. "It is time Kyalia for you to return, this is a order from Queen Emeraude herself." He said. He gestured for her to join him. "I can only imagine what it felt like to be out here, perhaps if you speak with Emeraude and convince her you learned your lesson, perhaps your stay with us will be permanent."

Kyoto didn't know what was going on and just sighed. What kind of freak show did I step in? He asked himself. He didn't question any of it except that he wished he was that book. He tapped the end of his hilt as he observed the elves. Their armor was designed much like samurai armor. Their armor was woven not like most armor which was molded. He even looked to the weapons and he wondered what materials they used. There were no bamboo in this country so he was curious.

Valken got himself up, but not because Cassandra prompted him to, his ears were still recovering from the blast from before and the voices were just fuzzy strings of audio. He wandered and wobbled, crawling more away from the group than towards them. "I must heal.." He said, disappearing into the forest like a dead cat trying to find a spot to die.
With a glow of orange light among the trees, valken would not be found for he was under the material plane of existence.

With the treants' response, Xukhezur and Lu'Vayla decided to wait, and led their horses over to one side of the road to wait for the elven captain. As they did so, Xukhezur telepathically bade the optic orb of his that still patrolled the area around Lithium, to give him a status update on the skirmishes between the fiendish and undead forces, that had kept the former from leaving the city so far, to mount a full fledged assault on the elves and the refugees. After a summary and a few brief scans of Lithium by projecting his senses through those of the small homunculus, he informed his cohort that the fiends still hadn't advanced out from the city they had taken. "Lets hope this captain arrives soon, so we have more investigation time before the pressure of a siege or the chaos of battle comes to bear against this kingdom," he said grimly.

Jameson nodded to Nova, he did not plan on giving her all of the information he had, but he would tell her what he could. This was her test, not his. She would have to tackle it as it came, the role of the first keeper was a hard one and in a way she pitied the girl. Just as his thoughts were beginning to roam of topic he was interrupted by the arrival of the one's he had been waiting for. These were a strange pair. He had wanted to speak to them since he had first heard her reasoning for blowing up in front of the group. He laughed as she pointed out the mind magic that the glade held within it. "Impressed are we? That is the magic of the silver plain, it is quite complex. If you wish to study it we can return sometime. I cannot create the magic that exists their, but I can influence it. Sort of a trait that was passed on too me." Jameson thought about the strangeness of his words as he watched Valken leave The plane of Kurn for a time. "Let's wait for his return, it will give us an excuse to talk to one another in private." He nodded to their companions, who had just began leaving for the elven city.
