Yes. Currently, I'd say we are in late spring/early summer. There are storms occasionally, but yeah, most of the harsher weather would probably be softened by the the town's aura.

Do our houses have baths (well, more specifically, the technology for running water), or do we bathe in a river/spring/waterfall or something like that?

I'll leave that one up to the individual. I do have a weird explanation in my head for how running water can work inside the houses here, so that is still a possibility. Although, it isn't quite the same as running water in a more technologically advanced place; people wouldn't have access to quite as much water as quickly, for example. I'm also going to let people decide on their own how they heat up water if they need to. Even if there is some running water, no heating systems have been developed here yet.
