Power Type: Devil fruit along with being incredibly intelligent

Personality: She is normally laid-back and easy going until something she perceives as 'wrong' occurs and she strikes out like a cobra. She's sweet and kind until the wrong buttons are pushed and it's like the saying 'poking the slumbering dragon' literally...if she had but eaten the Mara mara no mi, she really would have been. But otherwise, she's not that bad a person and doesn't enforce her training on anyone, not even those that follow her even though she's not a captain.

History: To say that Natsu is a rebel in the marine's would be to say that Monkey D. Luffy had been a hyper ass kid. Blatantly obvious and clear to see as well as very endearing. She doesn't see the world in the strict black and white that the marine's have, since she was sent there at the age of twelve cause her aunt couldn't afford to feed another mouth much longer. She see's it in multi-hues and can often see the point in why some people go pirate and will and has often given the law breaker a chance to redeem themselves or to run as fast as they can if their crimes are too 'heinous' for any other marine to see beyond while she creates a well thought of distraction. She had even met the pirate king before he became the pirate king and was one of the many that had a extremely high bounty. It was when she was a little girl no more than five. He had actually listened to her and asked about her opinions when she had been told to shut up and to quit believing in her dreams. It was a simple one really. "I want the world to be a more safe place. For pirates and marines. To live in a world where they can co-exist in harmony." She had said and he grinned at her and said that perhaps one day it could happen. So she's been doing her best to do that ever since. She was at the base having risen up the ranks thanks to her innate ability to learn things at a quicker pace than any other applicant in the marines including her swordsmanship and strategic ability, and had been sent off to the wilds unexpectedly. It had been while she was starving within the first week of having not eaten anything that she found this strange swirly berry-like thing. She shrugged having ignored talk of devil fruits for she figured she'd never find one anyway cause of the way they were so sought after for either trade for a high amount of belli, or to be eaten for his/her self, and had eaten it. It had been the WORST thing she ever ate. EVER! And then she started to feel strange after, her breath coming out in clear puffs when it was a humid day and winter wasn't supposed to be for another few months. She then began to figure out that she had indeed eaten a devil fruit and committed to figuring out how to control it because she didn't want to accidentally hurt someone, incorporating the abilities she learned into her fighting and learning what it could do, as well as how to make sure she didn't use it on accident. She came back to the academy three years later having turned twenty-two after they had almost written her off as a lost case. She has since then only used her new found abilities once when a particularly nasty bunch of pirates wouldn't listen to reason, and so she had to completely freeze the boat trapping the captain and the crew completely in ice and it sinking into the sea almost immediately as it set sail.

Devil Fruit: Hie Hie no Mi {chilly-chilly fruit}

Fruit Type: Logia

Abilities: being extensively trained in the marines, Natsu has specialized mostly in sword fighting with a Daito but can shoot a gun if absolutely necessary. Doesn't mean she enjoys using the fire arms. She can also cook relatively well from her days of taking care of herself by herself and having to learn especially when tossed into the wild as training.
Kenbunshoku Haki {mind rope or being able to sense the presence of others even when concealed from view or too far away to be seen normally} while her years of being in solitude taught her much she learned this skill and it often more than not saved her life
Haoshoku Haki she found this ability by accident while in the forest after a huge saber tooth lion attacked her and she used it. She has yet to really properly master this ability, however.

Others: Her goal as stated is to have a world where not everyone's views are 'oh the pirates are nasty' and 'ooh what wonderful marines we have' because both sides of the coin can have equal amounts of horrible terrible people that should never have or obtain power. She wants to wake the world up to see who the real monsters are and to fight against them.

I made a marine cause....I thought there might be need of one 0.o? And besides if we ALL were pirates that'd make for a pretty messed up world so I thought...why not ^.^ again if you want me to change it, I can, it's no problem to me, but I'd really have to think long and hard before I posted a 'pirate' person. Or if needed I'll make another person this time a pirate. I have a feeling we're going to have a need for more guys anyway >.> but I don't mind if Dani and Natsu get along :3 or even if not since they seem opposite in temperament at least at first whichever

I just think Dani and Natsu will be... an interesting pairing (take that however you want). Considering Natsu doesn't like having her buttons pressed... and all Dani knows how to interact is press buttons.

she's fine but you won't get to use her until much later so you might want to make a pirate if you want to be in sooner.

Hang on... What if she comes across us early and due to a misunderstanding (caused by us), she's forced to flee with us to try and prove her innocence. That could be her reasoning for traveling. It would also give her a chance to see the pirates point of view. Just an idea.

Er...ignore that she's just shocked she won't be used immediately. Hehe...I'll think about what my history and whatnot for my next person will be. And if needed I'll make a guy. I don't mind :3 but I have to sleep as I have work in the morning -groan- but I'll be back around six ish since i have data on my phone and it's about to be used up...

Me too... I think it'll be fun having a pirate whose a marine. Like the Ash-Misty-Bike scenario. We fucked up, wrecking your life, now you're traveling with us until you/we can fix it. Plus, I like Natsu, and want to get her in as soon as possible. Dani needs a playthi-er, I mean... foil... yeah... that.

OK, so heres a rough draft on my character, hes not a pirate, not yet anyway.

Name: Griff

Age: 18

Appearance:

Crew Position: sailor? above average mechanic.

Power Type: Power-Power fruit and gadgets.

Personality: Griff is a cheerful and laid back kind of guy, he doesn't really like to battle but he can rise to an occasion, he usually prefers to avoid combat. He really likes to tinker and make all sorts of gadgets and machines with his power. Griff is a thief, so he likes money, but he usually doesn't steal from someone he feels sorry for, kind of an honorable thief.

History: Born an orphan in the trash piles outside a certain kingdom, he was accustomed to avoiding trouble and taking what he could to survive, he built little things to help him with said tasks like telescopes and little bells and whistles to distract and observe. It is a harsh reality that he bared with other children from around the place. At the age of 14, he got bored of life in the trash and sought something more, stowing away on a ship and leaving for the world.
Taking some provisions of the ship, and some gold, he ventured to the land, stealing when necessary and seeing the land. One day he was caught stealing from some big gang, a strange fruit that he ate out of hunger, they seriously beat him and dragged his bloodied and broken body to the wilderness so some hungry animal could dispose of the body. Griff lost conscious right after they left him for dead.
Afterward he woke up bandaged up in an unknown bed, he cautiously took a look around the house to see where he had ended up and if anything of value was there. When he exited the room, a big old man greeted him and asked if he felt better. (not getting into further detail here) the man took pity on Griff and taught him how to recieve a number of blows and how to deflect them so he could defend himself, while he stole money whenever he could. Over time Griff accumulated energy that one day blew up him room in a violet explosion, a feint purple aura lingered around Griff as he watched in awe of the destructive power he had witnessed, that day Griff took awareness of his powers and left all the gold he had accumulated then with the old man as he left to an uninhabited place to understand his power.
Now Griff is an infamous and crafty thief with an average low bounty, and a secret and relatively big stash of money. Having made enough enemies in town he moves from town to town.
Fruit Type: Paramecia

Abilities: He can manipulate his (energy) to make a power substance, generally a sphere like orb ranging from red to violet, made of kinetic energy, by itself it can be used to create a great impact but gathering energy takes time that's too precious in battle, so he prepares the energy beforehand and fuels his gadgets with said energy, he has gauntlets and shoes that can use it for bursts of propulsion, a grappling hook with the same function, wheels on his shoes, smoke bombs and flash bombs, due to his training, he can resist a good blow or two and can redirect blows. Like any other thief, he has fast hands. He's movements are fluid.

Others: has many other useful and useless gadgets that he carries in a small cart along with his hidden loot.
