Second to last post so can't say anything yet

Nevea stopped as Seth began to speak, and then nodded when he finished, understanding. "Splendid," she said, simply. "Explaining all of that would have been rather tiresome." She hadn't been looking for Seth's awareness, and her mind had dismissed his presence, so she hadn't noticed him when casting her awareness. However, it was fairly fortuitous that he would be used to it and could do it already.She, of course, knew exactly what kind of magic Seth wielded, but of its nature she cared not. She would use anything she had at her disposal to accomplish her ends. She certainly wasn't scared of dark magic. She in fact rather liked it; it did useful things that nothing else did right. What she felt of the magic when casting her awareness sent not chills down her back."Currently, nothing," she said, in response to his question. "Although I do hope they'll be able to insert the mechanisms. I think they will, but they should just make sure. On that topic, a few of you should also start working on the firing mechanism, so that that and the rotation mechanism can be designed in tandem. Otherwise there may be problems with compatibility." With that, the campers working on the rotation mechanism joined with a few others to begin working on the connection of both.

Is anyone going to post? I know the people meant to go on a quest haven't even started it yet, I seriously hope this isn't slowing down already...

So, I think what you can do is insert a bit of a time-skip to when the designs are finished and ready to start prototyping. In fact, if you need extra post materiel (e for a reason lel), you can describe them making and inserting the mechanisms.

... Never mind, I just refreshed to find that you've posted. *facepalm* Ignore all that, please.

You're good :p. I think that the time taken with the walk to Hecate's cabin, the announcement, and the walk back to the Hephaestus cabin should be enough time for the forgers to finish up. They are after all, experts on making stuff, so it shouldn't take them too long.Multiple mechanisms can then be made while Seth and Nevea are creating their structures.

I'm definitely, totally not hinting at the possibility of anything at all in my latest post. Certainly not.

that picwhy is it so hilarious

Because I saw what you did there :p. And I approve.

Of what? ;)

That made this incredibly suggestive xD.

No? The wink was because I wanted to know what specific part of it you were...I need to learn when to use and not use wink faces. ;~;

I know, I'm just messing with you xD, so don't worry about it :p.

Okay then xD

What do you think of my design?

Of the firing device? It's pretty good, much better than what I had in mind. I pictured the shards being created in the air before being fired at the monsters, but then I realized that Nevea's ice might not have a "homing" trait like the magic that fires from Seth's crystals.Or maybe it does, but I don't know xD. Does it?But either, yes, I like the design!

1. That wouldn't work as well. A main reason for the control module of the control mechanism is to alleviate the need for a homing trait, which would be2. Complicated to get working.3. Thanks!
