"Besides the getting hit part this is pretty cool. Hey good luck Kido, try not to hit me too hard", Aaron said with a chuckle before heading over to his horse. He mounted it and equipped his lance and shield but felt somewhat exposed. "Hey uh councilors. Don't we get armor for this sort of thing?"

"If you would like some we have some available. We should have almost every size." The counselors announced together. They opened the door to a nearby shed. In side there were many different sizes and styles of armor.

Of course, James decided not to choose any armor, and simply formed scales that looked like armor instead as he went over to one of the larger horses and got on it.

"Don't worry," Kido giggled. "I don't think I can hit that hard, anyway. Onnea!" He finally released the other boy's arm to go to the horse, but stopped when the counselors revealed the armour. "Oh...it looks amazing!" Running over quickly, he started to look through what was available, trying to find something fairly light that he could use.

Aaron got off from his horse and walked over to the shed. He examined each armor set, finally deciding on one he felt was fitting of his powers. It was dark grey leather with pale blue smoke patterns. The helmet had the same design but additionally the eye holes were a pale blue mesh. After equiping his armor Aaron got back on his horse and rode over to the jousting field.

Kido eventually selected a set constructed of a light material he couldn't quite identify and decorated with a design featuring a bunch of stars in a swirling patterns. "Kiva~!" He smiled happily at the design and started to don the armour. Unfortunately, there was a clasp in the back that he couldn't quite seem to get right. "Um...can someone help me with this? I can't quite see where this is supposed to go."

Aiden froze when he say the girls eyes they were amazing exact opposites of his orange fiery eyes he just stared at her not being able to muster even a sound when she turned and ran away he kicked himself for being so stupid and for not talking to her but he was so compelled by those eyes he didn't know what to do. He continued trying to deal with the bloodlust he found a shady place to sit and rest for awhile as the camp was jousting.

Roxy had the book. She was surprised it had been so easy. She wondered if Isabella would know that she was the one who took it. In a way she hoped the vampiress would suspect her. She wouldn't mind havind a fight even if it landed her in the time out cabin. She hurried out of the cabin and back into the woods.

Dante was standing some distance from the group as he waited for Roxy. He glanced at Isabella who he noticed was scanning the others. "Probably looking to see who is a good match to go against", he said under his breath as he extended and retracted his claws, "I hope Roxy gets back before the activity ends" he thought he'd need time to copy the notebook if he wanted to return it in time so Isabella didn't notice it's absence.

"Never mind! I got it!" Kido could have started cheering when he finally figured out how to connect the last few pieces of armour. It fit oddly well, too. Really made him feel like a knight from a fairy tale. Placing the helmet on his head, he ran over to his horse and attempted to mount it, though it took him a couple of tries to do so. He was lucky that there was a stepping stool nearby, or he might never have managed it. Pleased with how things were going so far, he gently pet the horse's mane. "Okay, let's go!"

Roxy stood in the shadows watching the others play. Jousting? What was this the sixth century? She shook her head in disbelief. She had no interest in playing this game. She reached out of the shadows and tapped Dante on the shoulder.

Surprised, Dante jumped slightly before looking towards the hand that tapped him and immediately relaxing himself, "Oh good you're back. Did you get what I asked?" a pen and paper in his hands Dante eagerly awaited to see if Roxy had retrieved the notebook.

Roxy took his hand and pulled him into the shadows. She rarely allowed anyone into her shadow world but she figured Dante wouldn't want Isabella to know what he was doing. The shadows were the easiest place to give him the book. "Here. Don't make me regret helping you. I have enough vampire problems."

In the darkness Dante felt alleviated from the intensity of the Sun. He had to ignore it's sting for so long it felt normal, now shrouded in darkness he felt in an almost euphoric state. Upon receiving the notebook Dante was hesitant to leave the shadows. "Thanks Roxy, I promise you this will only help the camp...would you mind if I stayed here to copy the notebook?"

Roxy shrugged. "You can't leave the shadows without my help."She frowned thoughtfully. "Atleast I don't think you can, the last thing I need is vampires roaming in the shadows." she leaned against a near by tree. She might as well be semi comfortable while they worked.

"Thanks Roxy, I hadn't noticed how bad the Sun was hitting me until now", Dante sat down and quickly began to copy the pages of the journal. He glanced up at Roxy before quickly looking down to his notes, "You know...I'm not like other vampires. I actually want to stop this whole vampires feeding on humans thing or at least stop it from being a predatory thing. Just thought you should know, we aren't all evil...and not all of us were turned voluntarily"

"The way you feed isnt why I have a problem with vampires Dante." Roxy explained calmly. "I dont care that you survive on other peoples blood." Her problem had little to do with vampire feeding habits. Although she supposed she shouldnt be surprised that that's what he thought the problem was. Most people probably had a problem with his feeding habits. "I don't know if being changed against your will changes what you are Dante."

Riding a horse felt kind of weird to Kido, but eventually he managed to get over to the jousting field. It seemed like his horse must have been used to dealing with beginners, which was definitely good for him. Upon reaching the area he thought that he was supposed to be in, he looked up toward the taller boy on his horse. "Aaron, are you ready?"

Aaron lifted his lance above his head as he called out to Kido, "Ready when you are bud!" Returning his lance to his side and bringing up his shield Aaron prepared himself to get launched off his horse again.

"My problem has little to do with most Vampires being ruthless killers. I can't say I'm found of the fact that most of you kill with little thought." Roxy tod him. She didn't really want to go into detail. It would open a whole can of worms she wasn't willing to deal with. "My problem is that vampires take what they want no matter who they hurt. Their greed power hungry bullies."

David just looked at Aiden and sighed. It looked like he didn't want to be partners with him or anything. He looked around.

"Hey, is there anyone who doesn't have a partner?" called David. "'cause I'm free!"
