"Sounds good, I planned the dummies to be put around the campfire so if anyone misses it'll either land in the fire or hit another dummy. Everything we don't already have I'll have my parents send over. And don't worry about the camp or the others I'll keep the camp standing by the end of the party"
Dante took out his cellphone and dialed his mom's phone. It took awhile to for his mother to answer but when she did the sound if laughter and classical music was heard playing in the background, "Hello?" his mother answered. It took a moment for Dante to respond, "Hey mom it's me- "his mother cut him off before he could continue "This isn't the best time dear I'm at a very important meeting with your father"
"Yes yes I know but this is important I won't bother you again after this!", there was a pause before Dante got a reply, "You'll have to speak with your father dear I'm busy right now" that was the reply he was dreading. Him and his father never did get along. Dante's mother passed the phone to his father who answered with a deep and stern voice, "Hello son". Dante replied with the same stern tone in his voice, "Hey dad, you think you can send over a few test dummies and the sound system from the basement" an immediate response from his father with the same tone as before, "I'm not sure, have you been keeping your grades up?"
"Oh my-that was last year and besides people are counting on me for this dad. For once could you do me a solid and send those things over?"
"Oh so you care about impressing your friends than your grades then"
"And you don't apparently", Dante mumbled under his breathe, his father returned sharply, "What was that?"
"Nothing, listen I promise next year I'll bring my grades back up, just this once can you send me what I need. A lot of people are depending on me for this and I would hate to make our family look bad", even though Dante didn't speak much with his father he argued with him enough to know what to say.
"...I just sent the order, it should get there before the day is over. I expect you to keep your word or else", Dante's dad hung up before Dante could even say goodbye. Not that he wanted to.
