She missed her homey vantage point. From her sixth story room which overlooked the busier side of New York, Cassie wouldn't have been in the situation she was in now. She fought through a throng of hysterical civilians as she headed in the opposite direction. She shrugged off the questioning stares as she took out her phone. Earlier, while she was watching the news, she knew something was off when reports on overflow within nearby hospitals were shown on screen. There was something about a influenza spreading after the night of frantic shopping on deals. Black Friday was always tense for those within her unit. Though the years proceeding Operation Dark Winter and Directive 51 were relatively quiet, shit finally hit the fan.

Her phone buzzed as she slipped on a blue tooth headset. "Go ahead Division."

"Confirm your identity."

Cassie side stepped a speeding car as she fought the urge to give the driver a piece of her mind. "Alpha 114 Bravo Xeta Epsilon 251."

There was a brief moment of silence on the other side. She already knew whoever was talking to her was punching in her identification code. Moving across the street, Landis moved into a building where one of the Division's agent caches was stationed. She walked through the glass doors and headed towards a maintenance room. As she entered the room, the voice on the line broke silence.

"What's your ETA to the meet point? Agent Decker is already there."

"Ten minutes out," she said as she pulled back on a panel, which gave way to an alcove in the wall. She took the backpack and looked inside. A HK45 with four clips laid inside as well as a personal Command and Tactics tablet. These things were key to agent autonomy regarding logistics. A safeguard to lines breakdown. Other than that, a respirator and a few ration bars and other useful gadgets made up the rest of the contents. Cassia began to sync her Echo watch to the CaT. Essentially a portable version of the tablet. "Supply cache reached. Resuming to rendezvous point now. What're the status on the other two agents?"

"They are still making their way," said the operator. "Meet at the rendezvous, then head to the safe house. Communication from this point forward will be kept to a minimal. Division will feed updates and priorities to you periodically via the CaT and your Echo. Good luck, agent Landis. "

The line went dead as Cassie slid a fresh clip into her HK45, chambered a round, toggled the safety, then holstered it in concealed holster. She stuffed the remaining clips into her dark brown utility jacket and placed her phone into her jean pocket. Barely two days in, and the world was already going to hell. She could hear the gunshots from outside as well as screaming.

Carefully leaving the building she made a beeline to the meet point where the cell would converge then head to the safe house. The good stuff was waiting there.

Minutes later, Cassie came before a building bordering a park as she saw a man standing under an arch. He was dressed similarly to her as his eyes rested on her. It was Decker. She made her way towards him. "Any trouble?"

Decker shook his head. "Riots back that way," he said. "Its been quite otherwise. You took your sweet time getting here."

"Civvies being civvies," she said as the two walked further into the park building, looking for the other two agents. "How far is the SH from here?"

"Few blocks."

"We'll sit tight for now then." The reassuring weight of her firearm hugged her right hip as Cassie watched a trio sprint by. She didn't like the red she saw on their clothes. "I can't believe we got hit this bad."

Decker leaned against a pillar opposite of her as she interacted with his echo. "I heard other locations got hit way worse. The whole entire country is destabilized. I wonder how much we know behind the attack."

Cassie shrugged. "Focus on stabilizing New York first. Then we'll worry about the rest."

Decker sighed as he scratched his scruffy chin. "Got it, Cass."

Blair lay on a bed within the Motel 6, she never motels, it's like home to hookers and business men looking for a good time with them. She got out of bed and grabbed her clothes and changed into it, it was a gray sweater with blue jeans and shoes for the Beverly Hills Polo Club. Blair also grabbed her Samsung Galaxys S4 and the keys to the room and left the room and headed for the lobby to only see that none was in the lobby. It was odd for no-one to be there and then he saw a bell and hit it a few times until she realize that no-one was going to come to her. She placed the keys on the table and walked away from the desk until he heard the radio going off, that got her to go back to the desk and listened to it.

It was on the news and talking about the overcrowded hospitals and then an influenza spreading after Black Friday, Blair then realized that things were going crazy and these days could be the last of mankind. Her phone rang and she answered it, "Hello?", then a man's voice was on the line and said, "Confirm your identity.". She realized that this wasn't any normal man talking to her and responded back, "Hotel 321 India Sierra Epsilon 133". She walked as the line got quiet for a minute; she looked ahead and saw cars going to the bridge, trying to get out of this city. The guy came back on the line and said, "Welcome Agent Whitekit, we placed a waypoint on your phone. Just open to Google Maps and you'll find It." she gone to Google Maps and saw the waypoint, it was nearby her and she ran towards the waypoint.

She stopped running as she was close to the waypoint and she said, "How bad is the influenza spreading?" and he said, "Bad. It spread from the East to the West coast in the two days. But, luck was on our side, because we closed airlines, buses, trains, borders, and cruise lines on time. Because, we are reporting that the influenza is nowhere else in the world besides here.".

He was done talking to her about the influenza, when Blair saw a bakery store, that was closed due to the owners 'being sick' and the waypoint was in the alley beside it. She walked into the alley and saw bags of trash and moved them to the side and saw a backpack. She grabbed it and opened it, there was a personal Command and Tactics tablet, a safeguard to lines breakdown, a respirator and a few ration bars and other useful gadgets were in the backpack as well as two M16 magazines. "Got the supply cache, going to the rendezvous point." and she saw the M16 and then grabbed it, it must of been her weapon. The guy said, "After you go to the rendezvous point, go to the safe house. Communication from this point forward will be kept to a minimal. Division will feed updates and priorities to you periodically via the CaT and your Echo. Good luck, agent Whitekit.".

The guy had left the phone call and Blair put her phone in her pocket and realized that there was a blue tooth headset within the backpack. She grabbed it and put it on her head and near her ear as she zip the backpack shut. Blair, then put it on her and grabbed her gun as she exited out of the alley and entered the sidewalk, she saw that a car drove fast as she felt the warm wind for the car. Winter was coming and it was a bad time that an influenza had to appear, it would get colder and more likely to get sick. She was still walking until she saw a guy, had on the similar outfit and said, "Agent Whitekit, I'm Agent Davis.", He had the M1014 shotgun in his hand and Blair said, "Hello, Davis. We shall get going to the rendezvous point so we can get to the safe house.".

Brad couldn't help but to agree with her, he hated winter and would like to stay inside all winter long, but can't because of the world ending influenza. He and Blair was walking on the sidewalks as he said, "What do you know about the influenza?" and she said, "Well, I know that it reached to the west coast within two days and that the world doesn't have it.". "That's all you know?" Brad said as he saw a burning building and fire trunks were putting the flames out and she said, "Yeah, that's all I know. Let's just get to the others, they may know more.".

They stopped as they saw the others, one was leaning against a pillar and another was just standing there, Blair walked towards them and said, "Agent Whitekit and Davis here.".
