Ignoring Cassandra's words, Hax went off to his room. It was in the same dorm, but on the far end, away from everyone else, secluded. Strapping on his magazine belt, for his Mark VII .357 caliber Desert Eagles, Hax checked to maintain his swords and his guns. He needed to make sure the blade was still good or whether he needed to go to a blacksmith who could deal with demon swords. Since he did good maintenance, it was unlikely he would need to get it repaired any time soon. The only blacksmith he knew was associated with his family. If possible, he would rather avoid them. The guns were in good condition. But due to the limited ammunition available for him, he knew they were impractical in a longer fight. He needed a magazine belt that had more magazines. Hax didn't carry them around often, but since he felt there was potential danger, it would be better to have them in case.
As he was putting the Desert Eagles into their holsters on his back side, he felt something. The demon ... again? But ... it didn't seem like it was summoned, nor did it seem like it entered from somewhere. Let's see ... the location ... In one of the rooms, huh .... If it didn't summon, and didn't enter from somewhere ... how did it get there. Unless ... "Tsk" Hax was annoyed. From his deduction it was a demon that hid in the shadows. Able to stretch itself out and hide it's presence, and live in the shadows, feeding off emotions. The presence of the demon was hard to feel, unlikely for anyone else to be able to realise it was there. Grabbing some masking tape, he headed off to the room it came from.
Once he reached the room, he knew someone was inside. Please let them be asleep he thought. Unsure if the door was locked, Hax turned went for the handle. It was unlocked, opening it slowly and silently, he looked inside. He found that one of the girls from earlier were sleeping. The one that wasn't part demon. Lilly was it? he wondered if he got it right. Sneaking into the room, he closed the door behind him softly. There wasn't much light in the room, besides what was being let in from the door. Taping up the door to seal any light from entering or escaping, he checked that the windows also didn't allow any light. Good. he thought, as the room was filled with darkness.
Drawing Infernecus, the crimson flame and light filled the room. Swinging the blade with his right hand, the room was filled with flames. Everything was covered in flames, the beds, Lilly, Hax, everything. If Lilly was awake or if anyone else was around, they would surely panic, but the flames were gentle and warm. The flames lit up the whole room, allowing nowhere for a shadow or darkness to exist. That's when it came out, a black shadowy figure. It seemed to have been doing this for a long time, thus it was large. For those who could feel when demons were around, they would surely notice it now. The demon went to attack Hax. Drawing his left Desert Eagle from it's holster with his left hand, he aimed, and shot the demon three times. Three loud gunshots could be heard. The shots filled the dormitory. The demon faded, and disappeared. Surely the shots were loud enough for Lilly to wake up. Sheathing Infernecus, the flames in the room died out. He wondered if the girl was awake or not and had seen any of the flames. He didn't know if she would scream or not. He quickly acted to make sure the windows were as they were and that the door had the tape removed. The wall had three bullet holes, but he had no time to fix that. As silently as he entered, he left the room, but hastily. Unsure if anyone was around, he went to walk back non-chalantly to his room once more. While in this rush the blades spoke to him If someone notices you, they will misunderstand Master. Why do it in this way? Also, you could of just used the flames or ice to kill it as well. Hax replied to them, There was no need to use you two more than necessary, and also it doesn't matter what they think. I'd rather be misunderstood than to have my trust misplaced.
