[OOC] The Knights of Songbird ~ A Bioshock Roleplay

Hehe, I -am- really enjoying myself~

I think it's going to take some really, really quick thinking to figure out how to make Poppy into a friend because once Rosie/Big Daddy arrives, she's the only one who'd be able to stop him/her/it from tearing the group into ribbons. I'm running through all the options myself, too, trying to figure a way to avoid it without making a Big Daddy look like a sissy.

Well in one instance, the BD could appear and attack, since there is a group of about 5, they could scatter, and fight it collectively. Sure 1 on 1 they're tough shit but maybe 5v1 is difficult but not impossible

Mhm, but what would then happen if the Knights kill the Big Daddy? Poppy's mental conditioning doesn't go away after she's cured, and even then I'd think curing her would make her less useful than she is right now. But just as equally, whilst she's like this she'll still attract Big Daddies...personally, I think the easiest thing to do is have the Knights attacked by BD until Poppy steps in and gives the BD a stern telling-off. Perhaps even have it on their side, so to speak, because it's attached to Poppy and was practically made to escort her? Of course, to make it fair, I doubt it'll help in any other way than attacking anything that is attaching Poppy...

tl;dr - If we kill BD, Poppy will probably never help the Knights. If we don't kill the BD, then...i dunno, it might just be really wary of the knights and drag Poppy off every so often.

I'm swaying towards keeping BD alive, because it still follows orders from the higher-ups, and can be a brilliant, brilliant obstacle later on once whoever's in charge of the test subjects catches wind of the Knights and their snooping because Poppy won't allow anyone to kill her daddy. :<

We've crossed over to Rapture now, and have changed our attire to fit in with the citizens there. However, upon leaving the clothing store, the group has encountered a little sister named Poppy; though they don't know her name yet. As of now, they are literally at the mercy of her. If she screams, we're all doomed.

Nightwing's post made me nearly cry. That was really poetic!

Thank you Stitches, it was a bit hard to write the backstory in, but it seemed a good moment to do so. It was the breaking point that Dan had been holding back, and I'm glad that he was able to let go with dignity. Especially with a little girl who needed so badly to hear the words that he wanted so badly to say; a mirror to his sister, who he is still trying to cope from the loss.

It's a sad moment, one that though brief, I hoped would give a bit of insight for him. Hopefully it will help Poppy as well, even though she has been sheltered most of her life, she hasn't really ever heard those words. I hope it helps a bit, but of course, that isn't a guarantee.

FYI: There's two reason Clarence took that needle. One, because he's naturally curious and didn't recognize what it was. Two, he really didn't want the little girl too have access to another (makeshift) weapon. Let alone, a freaking syringe. xD

Glad to hear it :) I'm very honored that all of you chose to be a part of this roleplay and that we are able to make it a great and interesting story with a solid plot and dynamic characters. Much better than the alternative, so I'm happy you're all here and hopefully here to stay :)
