If you want him to skip grades and still be young, I'd say 14. cause its a 16-17 year old class...14 is the lowest I'll permit, and thats stretching it. I'd prefer 15-16.

Name: Ryu Shigeno

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Clubs/Occupation: Basketball club.

Personality: Ryu is a happy-go-lucky type guy. He is only caught up in the present, and not worried about the future. He always looks to the bright side of things in any bad situation. Always smiling, and always thinking of ways to have people around him smile as well. He loves to have a good time, and is simple minded. Not really being studious, or smart for that matter he is usually behind in his school studies. Talking during lessons and sometimes putting his head and napping. He is care-free till the end. Being so care-free he is very gullible. He will generally believe anything that anybody tells him. Never losing trust in peoples words and always going with the flow.

History: Ryu was raised by his father ever since he was 3. His mother coming down with brain cancer a few years after Ryu was born. Ryu's dad was devastated with what happened and was bed ridden for a couple of months, causing him to lose his job and using up all the funds that they had in their savings account. Soon after all the money was gone, Ryu's dad realized he had to get back to work so he could provide for Ryu and himself. He soon found a job as a traveling businessman. Traveling around the country, and even the world on special occasions. This leaves Ryu by himself in the house for days, even weeks at a time. When his father comes back from the trip, the conversations are dull and bland. The usual "How was your trip?" or "How are you doing in school?" are thrown in there ever so often. Neither knowing what to talk about. Ryu spends most of his day in his room. Watching TV, Playing video games, Surfing the internet on his computer. Ever since Ryu's father had gotten his job, this has been the normal routine around the house. Coming out of his room to go to the bathroom, eat dinner, or get something to drink. A non-stop cycle that each wants to break, but neither know how to approach each other about it.

Haha, funny thing is when i copied the CS I completely missed the Persona part.. So if i didn't go over your first post again I might have forgot :p, and yeah do the first day of school first so our characters can get acquainted with each other than branch off from there.
