It's usually used in the kid friendlier media as well. Though the comics have often gone back and forth between both LoS and LoA to the point that they may be separate organizations depending on the writer.

When Canary talks of the League in Arrow I thought she's said League of Assassins a time or two, probably just not paying enough attention... [though I LOVE the stuff with the Atom, Flash, Firestorm, etc coming soon...]

Hillan - I tried editing some more into my last post so I didn't sound like a douche but my iPad died and I just now got to my laptop. I was just gonna say another year or two on his age would suffice.

Trying to finish my CS now, then comes the OOC. I'm off work tomorrow as well so I'll have enough time to throw some top quality stuff at you guys. Just keep your eyes peeled...

Name - Unknown

Alias - Forest

Age - Unknown, Five years active.

Powers -
Durability: Stronger than normal wood, able to resist bullets but is just as susceptible to fire as normal wood.
Strength: At base strength, able to lift 10, 20 tons. But if fertile soil is involved his strength can be raised exponentially.
Regeneration: Able to regrow damage at a speed proportional to the fertility of the ground he rests in. E.X. complete regrowth in about a week at the most fertile.
Plant speak: Able to "Converse" with plants, knowing what it has gone through. Good for investigation.
Skills -
Gardening: Helps with being part plant, but is an exceptional gardener and knows much about plants. Doesn't think its much help though.
Fighting: Isn't all that great, clumsy swings and sloppy slams and uncoordinated punches. Isn't very graceful.

Equipment - None.

Personality - Simple, slow, and relaxed.

Appearance -

BRIEF Bio - Not much is known about Forest's past, one day he woke up in a swamp and found himself like he is. A giant mass of branches and stones. He wandered the swamps for awhile, with nothing but animal instincts to go by until he had a vision. It was nothing major, just a flash of blank faces and and vague actions, but it was enough to give him sentience and a purpose.

Leaving the swamp he has made his way around the country, gaining more flashbacks and more humanity along the way until he made his way to Gotham. For reasons unknown to him he felt pulled to the area and was found by Batman after a confrontation with some armed thugs. Since then Batman has kept tabs on him, making sure he isn't a menace to society and such. However with the hard times coming Batman needed some muscle and Forest still owed Batman a debt. Now he finds himself here.

Notes - Forest is tall, like 12 feet and almost a thousand pounds.
-He is almost like a child in a sense, little things fill him with wonder and awe.
-I want it to be a development point for Forest to gain more knowledge of his past as the RP goes along.

Name - Jon Christopher II

Alias - Knightclub

Age - 28

Powers - gained the ability to duplicate himself after falling prey to the Joker's toxins in his club two years ago, the resulting chemical exposure activated his latent metagene once cured of the toxins some two days later in East Gotham Medical.

Skills - growing up a rebel, Jon is a skilled street fighter with an unorthodox style; lock picking came with his delenquent years, and he can make a mean mixed drink.

Equipment - lock picks concealed in his knee pads and gloves, carbon steel arm bracers, standard kevlar mesh battlesuit

Personality - loud, short tempered, impulsive

Appearance -

In costume:

BRIEF Bio - Though highly successful now, Jon's early life, strangely, was as a rebel, and he took to vandalism and narcotics. He dropped out of school when he was 15, and he fronted a garage band named The Black Aces. After going back to school for business he went in on a night club with former band-mate Daniel Roberts, who died in the aforementioned Joker attack on the club. Jon is the sole owner now and became friends with Dick Grayson and Roy Harper around the time both young heroes went out on their own. Jon got into more trouble with Harper, and the two get along better than most brothers even on a bad day.

Jon used a few duplicates to help run and operate the club, which had intricate lighting, and when coupled with the duplicates wearing their hair differently, with some prosthetics here and there, nobody realized it was the one guy doing all the work. The only person to figure it out has been Batman, who came in on the club after hours to follow up a lead that Jon may have got back into the drug game. After a brief battle Batman stood down, and with Jon's help took down the actual drug dealers. Jon only recently became an active costumed vigilante, having fought to defend his club during the period of time the Crime Syndicate replaced the Justice League.

Notes -

"Why do they call you Knightclub? You gotta Batman approved ballbat or somethin'?" taunted Firefly to the new hero.

"No ballbat, I just bring the party..." Jon said duplicating about three dozen times.
Pathfinder, it all looks good but the strength doesn't have to be so high. He's not much different than Swamp Thing and ST surely can't lift mountains...

The Kid Lantern said Pathfinder, it all looks good but the strength doesn't have to be so high. He's not much different than Swamp Thing and ST surely can't lift mountains...~KL~

Well actually...

Wikipedia said Swamp Thing possesses superhuman strength of undefined limits. While Swamp Thing's strength has never been portrayed as prominently as many of his other abilities, he demonstrated sufficient strength to rip large trees out of the ground with ease and trade blows with the likes of Etrigan the Demon.

Wikipedia said Etrigan is considered to be extremely powerful. He has above superhuman strength (mystically enhanced) to the degree that he can stand against other powerhouses such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Lobo.

So we take that into consideration, Swamp Thing is able to trade blows with Superman and therefore could quite possibly throw mountains.

I chose the 80 tons because it seemed the average of the super strength scale, but I can change it if you want.

20-30 tons could rip medium sized trees from the ground depending on the type of roots, and Etrigan specifically is in Superman's range because S-man is vulnerable to his magical origins. IDK if Superman is effected by the Red or the Green in the same way, but even still... this thing's in Gotham. We're not fighting Kryptonians. Ninjas and a few other independent mercs like Deadshot, Bane, and maybe some bigger version of Clayface. Nobody requiring splitting mountains.

Solomon Grundy is in Gotham (or he is when the story calls for it), he's damn near impossible to harm by ordinary means, so super strength could come handy when he's involved.

Hmm, how about a compromise? So, I'm thinking like, because his regeneration is linked to fertile soil how about his strength as well? Like on a normal day he could lift 10 tons, 20 if he had "eaten" that day, but when he is able to soak up some guano fertilized soil he can get way up their on the strength meter.

I changed it to a masters in Bioenginering.
Though, I'd just like to point out there's kids who are 19, in the real world, who've done PHD's. ;)

Regardless, my character's been altered. Carry on.
