Yes but most have posted schedules along with some form of alarm to allow students time to submit to the schedule
There are still a few free form schools that have no schedules but that experimental style is quickly fading

That's true. There is usually a bell but since everyone is in the same classes there isn't as much need for that here.

Misunderstanding

Nabiki is growing practically aflame with curiosity and thought.
This school has caused her to began expanding her knowledge
She'll be little miss perfect after adjusting to the system and her free time will see her consuming the library and it's books. Her passive recon of the building and grounds will form a map which she'll store in her head

Free time is subjective, take for instance following Roxy
Nabiki doesn't even have to navigate because Rroxy is leading the way
So as the walk towards a destination that Roxy knows Nabiki simply shifts some of her train of thought to something more productive than simply letting her mind go blank
She optimizes her time whether it's ten minutes or hours

I used to have a friend in collage who could do this
I once watched her solve a trig equation while making christmas cookies

Actually what she did wasn't so much Intelligence but a mental trick she learned in a private school she'd attended. She taught me a little how to do it and it's somewhat connected to meditation.

I was never able to connect the way she could to what she called the secondary mind but she did all the time.
I still feel green when she contacts me, she's the head of a research department and already has 3 doctorates an here I am still struggling to get my first
