Name: Penelope (Penny) SummersAge: 16Description/Appearance: 5'4" 91 pounds lithe athletic figure of a gymnastPersonality: Sweet and Gentle she seems almost fragile while underneath she's gifted with a Steel will. Intelligent and well mannered Penny is a loyal friend who protects those she so names as such standing by them no matter what.Bio: Penny's childhood was the perfect middle class fairy tale, perfect if modest house loving parents and dutiful child. Her grades in school at the top since she began and an interest in gymnastics that began at age 8 which made her the child other parents envied not to have as their own.It all seemed like a dream till the day it fell apart becoming a nightmare. Penny's dad was found dead in her home and her mother named and later convicted as his murder.Penny knew there was no way that her mom could have killed the man she loved. Penny was held by the state till the day of the trial and during that time people masquerading as grief councilors seemed determined to make Penny confess that her mother did it. It was this and other horrible things she witnessed perpetrated by the state that eventually turned her against authority. For weeks Penny had to hear on the media channels how cold blooded her mom was because she wouldn't speak to police or even her own court appointed Public Offenders as Penny called them. Not once since she'd been forcibly removed from her home had Penny been allowed to visit her mom. Then came the mock trial where the news services all but convicted her mom using supposed experts and testimonies from some neighbors who seemed to Penny to be afraid and other people that she'd never met who claimed to also be family friends. Then came the day when the prosecuting attorney called her to the witness stand and using the tricks of the court controlled what Penny was allowed to say till she blew up. She shouted that the DA was nothing but a murderer of the state bent on seeing her mother dead while her Public Offender helped by inept handling of her case.Penny's was forcibly drug from the stand and even tasered to silence her less someone over hear her protests. As her punishment Penny was sent to an asylum on her 15th birthday. Penny used her skills as a gymnast and her intelligence to make her first escape by scaling one of the buildings on the grounds then leaping off the roof to a nearby treetop. She was free for all of three days and when she was returned to the tender mercy of the asylum where she spent three months in isolation and special counseling. When she was once more allowed to rejoin the population of the asylum Penny waited only two days. Before she saw a chance to try another escape by seizing the use of a delivery truck who's driver left the keys. She used the truck to smash through the fence gates destroying the security shack in the process. She was once more free this time for nearly two months. Because she stole a truck she was required to appear in juvenile court to stand trial three days after her return to the asylum. It was while being moved from transport to the courthouse that Penny made another escape and managed to get away. She was free and was soon over 300 miles away by stealing clothing from a donation bin and then stowing away under the tarp of a heavy equipment trailer. She was only discovered by accident when an inspector pulled her truck aside for a detailed search. Penny was held at a local jail for two days when two people a man and woman from the Academy came and shackled her into a transport. Penny wasn't told where they were taking her and the transport she was in had no windows to allow her to know where the Academy is.Group: SeditionOther: Penny so dislikes authority that she will exploit any chance no matter how trivial to screw the system. She fails tests even on simple subjects, she misspells her own name, dresses without random pieces of required uniform and other such methods of resistance
