A note about users deleting posts: It can be problematic under certain circumstances, so perhaps make it so that a post can only be deleted if it is the last post in the thread or within, say, three hours of posting? I did see a few cases on the old RPG where an user said quite some unpleasant things, then went back, deleted everything, and then denied there ever been anything.
(I am not sure whether there would be a means for you/other higher-ups to see deleted posts and/or edits made. I like the system of one of the forums I mod wherein mods can view both deleted posts (deleting leaves a line with "X has removed their post" that is only visible to mods/admins and will display the deleted post's content upon being clicked) and the previous forms of the post (the "last edited" notion is clickable and leads to a mods/admins-only page with one copy of each prior-to-editing post). The system was implemented because users going back and editing/deleting posts to get out of accusations became very rampant...)
Edit: I figure the jump to 65535 characters happened happened after this post? In any case, it is less than you'd expect, since we've already run into a number of occasions when nation sheets, world infos and even some character posts simply do not fit... (How did I first find out the limit? Why, by trying to paste background-info and only a fraction of it appearing...)
