Claus
Within the confines of the dorm room which would keep Claus and Charlotte for the duration of their stay at the school, within it sat Claus. On his bed he sat in a manner which would make anyone think that he had no hope in himself, that he felt abandoned or depressed in any other way, shape or form. He did feel hatred, hate for himself who had been consumed by the clock, a clock of demons. He didn't care much of how the native religion here thought of demons, but in the world that he came from demons was at the brink of reality, they were truly terrifying. Demons existed in the mind of Claus and therefore they were very much real, he'd seen one with his own two eyes, multiple times.
Clamped in his bed with the blanket surrounding him he began to think deeper and deeper into despair, he had fallen deeper and deeper into the chasms which he is enchained, thanks to Tempeshoro he had started to acknowledge his fate and slowly but doubtfully he opened his eyes to reality, in more ways than one and was met with the still dark dorm room on the third floor. With great thought he slowly began to raise himself from his sitting stance of despair and when he finally found himself standing up he slowly brushed off his royal robes and made them as straight as he possibly could whilst standing up.
With a face which would reveal no emotion he left the dorm room, but not before putting on his sword holder and putting Kroll inside it. Behind him was the dorm room, in his hand was the key which would soon be put in a concealed pocket behind his royal robe which hung over his right shoulder. On his decent down to the first floor he was met with a very scared looking figure, Claus was sure to observe him deeply as he would pass him by, with his hand on his swords holster he did not wish for surprises. Of course unknowingly he would glare is firey eyes into the innocent looking figure holding a flag and some neatly rolled contraption in his mouth.
When Claus reached the first floor he was met with nothing, nothing of which he wanted, that is. There were a plentiful share of people in the social areas but thankfully for Claus there were no one, or nearly no one in the hallway leading straight out of the dorm building. Walking with slow but determined steps, he would look incredibly intimidating to almost anyone who would actually acknowledge what they were looking at, basically anyone with basic observational skills.
When he reached the exit and entrance of this rather grand, yet less grand building when in comparison to the others. He was met by the typical royal shouting at the dorm keeper. Whilst normally he wouldn't have even considered the possibility, however since he was on his way to find Charlotte, it wouldn't help to ask the dorm keeper when Claus had done his 'noble and good deed'.
His acting would be perfect, and easily so. Claus was a very good liar, after all. ''Miss Emily Kabal, I've heard much about you.'' He said with a slight bow. ''I am Claus Seisermund De Deniré, our families have probably met at one time or another.'' Due to Claus' special case no one knew of his origin other than Charlotte and her father, giving him a perfect cover, she would impossibly know of him, plus his looks matched his claims greatly. ''I'd like to speak to you about family matters, if you please would accompany me to a more private location?''
He was getting off tracks, however within a short time he would be able to confront the Dorm Keeper, however if that's not possible he'd have to search the forest, because almost the entire school ground was visible from the Grey dorms location. As a gesture of respect he gestured his hand to a nearby tree signifying that they'd talk matters in that area. ''Shall we?'' Claus felt greatly uncomfortable whilst in the pressence of so many people, however he did his best to silence it and luckily, he was quite able to do so this time.
Charlotte
At the very border of the forest she had been sulking, silently letting her tears reach the bottom of her head and falling to the grass covered earth below her feet. She was met by the many sounds of the forest, the sounds which had conforted her many times in her earlier years of life, however she'd not need this when Claus had become her brother. They'd been so close, even after her father had planned to make Claus into the weapon which her father so greatly desired. Claus was a gift both to her and her father, but for two entirely different reasons.
She slowly slid down to a lying position, her memories of their happy times passing by her eyes, any memory between the two of them eventually came by her and she had been slightly relieved of her sadness. She looked up and was met by something entirely unexpected, it was a bird, it's wings magnificent and grand, stretching from one tree to another, it's face was menacing yet caring, it's beak powerful and royal. The bird sat on a branch above her and their eyes met and with that meet Charlotte was slowly being relieved of her pain and tears. Because the bird, an eagle, had also been sulking with her, the eagles single, yet dominant tear fell down from its right eye and fell onto the chest of Charlotte. With that single act, a thousand miles of pain and sad thoughts had left Charlotte and she smiled, tears still running down her face, but not sadness within them.
The eagle slowly flew itself to the ground, sitting down next to her. It was much larger than any eagle she'd seen, and it's head was shaped in a way that made it look like it bore a crown. It stayed besides her as she slowly cried her final tear, what had caused her sadness now unknown to her, however she did not get up, she intended to wait for the off chance that Claus would find her, because she knew that Claus lied to her, however she also knows Claus.
She would wait this day through, and if she'd be forced to sleep in the forest she would, because the eagle, Methuselah, which she'd just named, would guard her if the terrors of the night sulk their way from the deep forest and into the outer reaches.
