Simon glanced around as he held the cigarette betwixt his teeth. Oh dear, uh, it appears no one will share a light.. He gripped the white flag with both of his hands as he slowly ascended the stair-case. He could have ascended it quicker, but he was testing the nature of the stair-case, judging with each step how likely it was to collapse under his weight. Slowly, one step in front of the other, he trudged up the stairs, as he quickly turned his head both to the left and to the right. His ears twitched, as he quickly turned his head as he glanced behind himself. His pupils darted frantically, before confirming that, nothing was of an immediate threat behind him.

Okay, just get up the stairs. he thought to himself, as he finally made it to the floor where his room was, and slowly moved down the hallway. He reconfirmed his grip on his white flag, as he glanced around the hallway. Alright... Almost there.

Claus

Within the confines of the dorm room which would keep Claus and Charlotte for the duration of their stay at the school, within it sat Claus. On his bed he sat in a manner which would make anyone think that he had no hope in himself, that he felt abandoned or depressed in any other way, shape or form. He did feel hatred, hate for himself who had been consumed by the clock, a clock of demons. He didn't care much of how the native religion here thought of demons, but in the world that he came from demons was at the brink of reality, they were truly terrifying. Demons existed in the mind of Claus and therefore they were very much real, he'd seen one with his own two eyes, multiple times.

Clamped in his bed with the blanket surrounding him he began to think deeper and deeper into despair, he had fallen deeper and deeper into the chasms which he is enchained, thanks to Tempeshoro he had started to acknowledge his fate and slowly but doubtfully he opened his eyes to reality, in more ways than one and was met with the still dark dorm room on the third floor. With great thought he slowly began to raise himself from his sitting stance of despair and when he finally found himself standing up he slowly brushed off his royal robes and made them as straight as he possibly could whilst standing up.

With a face which would reveal no emotion he left the dorm room, but not before putting on his sword holder and putting Kroll inside it. Behind him was the dorm room, in his hand was the key which would soon be put in a concealed pocket behind his royal robe which hung over his right shoulder. On his decent down to the first floor he was met with a very scared looking figure, Claus was sure to observe him deeply as he would pass him by, with his hand on his swords holster he did not wish for surprises. Of course unknowingly he would glare is firey eyes into the innocent looking figure holding a flag and some neatly rolled contraption in his mouth.

When Claus reached the first floor he was met with nothing, nothing of which he wanted, that is. There were a plentiful share of people in the social areas but thankfully for Claus there were no one, or nearly no one in the hallway leading straight out of the dorm building. Walking with slow but determined steps, he would look incredibly intimidating to almost anyone who would actually acknowledge what they were looking at, basically anyone with basic observational skills.

When he reached the exit and entrance of this rather grand, yet less grand building when in comparison to the others. He was met by the typical royal shouting at the dorm keeper. Whilst normally he wouldn't have even considered the possibility, however since he was on his way to find Charlotte, it wouldn't help to ask the dorm keeper when Claus had done his 'noble and good deed'.

His acting would be perfect, and easily so. Claus was a very good liar, after all. ''Miss Emily Kabal, I've heard much about you.'' He said with a slight bow. ''I am Claus Seisermund De Deniré, our families have probably met at one time or another.'' Due to Claus' special case no one knew of his origin other than Charlotte and her father, giving him a perfect cover, she would impossibly know of him, plus his looks matched his claims greatly. ''I'd like to speak to you about family matters, if you please would accompany me to a more private location?''

He was getting off tracks, however within a short time he would be able to confront the Dorm Keeper, however if that's not possible he'd have to search the forest, because almost the entire school ground was visible from the Grey dorms location. As a gesture of respect he gestured his hand to a nearby tree signifying that they'd talk matters in that area. ''Shall we?'' Claus felt greatly uncomfortable whilst in the pressence of so many people, however he did his best to silence it and luckily, he was quite able to do so this time.
Charlotte

At the very border of the forest she had been sulking, silently letting her tears reach the bottom of her head and falling to the grass covered earth below her feet. She was met by the many sounds of the forest, the sounds which had conforted her many times in her earlier years of life, however she'd not need this when Claus had become her brother. They'd been so close, even after her father had planned to make Claus into the weapon which her father so greatly desired. Claus was a gift both to her and her father, but for two entirely different reasons.

She slowly slid down to a lying position, her memories of their happy times passing by her eyes, any memory between the two of them eventually came by her and she had been slightly relieved of her sadness. She looked up and was met by something entirely unexpected, it was a bird, it's wings magnificent and grand, stretching from one tree to another, it's face was menacing yet caring, it's beak powerful and royal. The bird sat on a branch above her and their eyes met and with that meet Charlotte was slowly being relieved of her pain and tears. Because the bird, an eagle, had also been sulking with her, the eagles single, yet dominant tear fell down from its right eye and fell onto the chest of Charlotte. With that single act, a thousand miles of pain and sad thoughts had left Charlotte and she smiled, tears still running down her face, but not sadness within them.

The eagle slowly flew itself to the ground, sitting down next to her. It was much larger than any eagle she'd seen, and it's head was shaped in a way that made it look like it bore a crown. It stayed besides her as she slowly cried her final tear, what had caused her sadness now unknown to her, however she did not get up, she intended to wait for the off chance that Claus would find her, because she knew that Claus lied to her, however she also knows Claus.

She would wait this day through, and if she'd be forced to sleep in the forest she would, because the eagle, Methuselah, which she'd just named, would guard her if the terrors of the night sulk their way from the deep forest and into the outer reaches.

Jurd poked his finger into the pouch that held Karom, the mantis playfully prodding at his digit with its forelegs. For a terrifying predator of the insect world, the little guy was awfully tame with Jurd, not even scratching his skin despite using those same limbs to painfully capture prey before eating them alive. "I'd like that. Karom would like that too. He'd like some insects to hunt too. He can probably do small mice now, though. He's gotten an awful lot bigger". Jurd removed his finger from his pet's carrier and opened a different pouch, taking a small brown leaf from it which he then proceeded to nibble on, his lips slightly staining yellow.

"Yeah, lets do that then", he muttered between nibbles. "You pick the room Renee. I'd like it if we didn't have too many neighbors, though. People here are weird". As he said this, very quietly so only Renee would hear obviously, he was specifically looking at the shouting redhead brandishing a spear and the white haired guy who carried a saber, walked around really slow for some reason, glared at everyone and was now gesturing towards a nearby tree. Were rich people always wierd? The richest people near his swamp had all been wierd and awful, one moment they asked his family for medicine to fix their injured arm then they were throwing rocks at them as soon as they felt healthy.

"Well I'll go on ahead, I'll try to find us somewhere nice." Renee said as he left to go up the stairs. He was hearing commotion going on behind him, but his first priority right now was to find a nice room. On his way he walked passed a man covered in armor. He gave a simple "Good day." as he walked by. He looked back as the knight walked away. That knight... I want to fight him. Renee thought as he continued up the stairs. Also along his way, he saw another man, this one holding a white flag for some reason. He also walked by him with a simple "Hello." as he continued through the hallway.

It was then he found a man sleeping on a pile of trunks. He was reminded when he first met Jurd. He was sleeping just like this on some logs, but covered in mud. This would be the perfect floor, to be next to such people. At the very least they seemed less crazy than the others. "This is settled then! This floor shall be the floor we stay in!" He shouted.

"Man, why everyone gotta be so noisy..?", Shiloh asked as he slowly sat up from his makeshift bed, "Hey man,you know where the dorms are? I-", he looked around, "Oh. Ooookay..."
He nodded contemplatively, as if he had just received some sort of cosmic wisdom from some wise hermit who lived in the mountains. In reality, he was just very confused.
"Yeah, I gotta-", he yawned as he stood, "-gotta get these... trunks? Trunken?"
He scratched his chin with one hand as he de-barricaded the doorway with the other
"I gotta move these... trunk-ii? I gotta move these trunkii into me and Simon's place. You probably met him, got a white flag, real high strung- nice guy, though."
A thought struck him.
"Wait, back up...", he paused for a little bit, "...uh, who are you?"

Jurd followed behind Renee, letting him lead the way and stepping out of the way of the armored person just as he did. Why anyone would walk around in bulky, constricting armor while inside a school built within supposedly holy ground he couldn't say, but then there were two crazy people downstairs already so maybe it wasn't a bad call. He felt kinda bad about the obviously terrified fellow clutching a white flag though, he was clearly more unsettled by this whole place than he was. "Y-you hang in there" he muttered as he went by. Once Renee stopped he just stood behind him, his mouth already yellowish from chewing on his leaf, looking on as the man who had fallen asleep in the middle of the hallway got his bearings. He reminded Jurd of himself somewhat.

Graian followed Maya, rather easily. She was in a full suit of armour, after all. "Woah, hot-shot, slow down. You might hit somethi-" He saw as she knocked over luggage, probably owned by another student. "Speak of the devil..." He looked around for who it belonged to.

Simon paused as he held onto his white flag tighter as two individuals passed by. One was rather shiny, truly and un-naturally shiny, and the other dressed in curious robes, and looked rather scruffy looking. A cold sweat went down Simon's brow as the robed man muttered some words to him. I really need that light... he thought to himself as he quickly let go of the flag with his left hand, but increasing his grip with his right hand. He took the deepweed cigarette and pocketed it into the book-bag, on his back. He then quickly placed his left hand back on his white flag as he slowly trudged forth down the hallway, heading for the room where Shiloh was sure to be. He has to be there. He just has to be there.

Shiloh shoved the trunks out of the way and opened the door, placing one of Simon's inside. By the time he had walked back to grab the second trunk, three more people had entered the floor. He recognized Simon, but the other two didn't ring any bells.
"Whoa, hey, where's the party? Simon, you know these guys?"

"A-ah! There you are." Simon quickly approached Shiloh as he glanced around, "Uh, N-no, I... strangers...I do not know what their intentions are." He gripped onto his white flag, as more sweat poured down his brow. His lips quivered a bit, as he focused his attention on Shiloh, for the moment. "Well, uh, m-moving in then, I suppose." He then eyed the other two on the floor warily, as he tightened his grip on his white flag.

"Hey, just calm down, man.", Shiloh plucked the cigarette from his partner's bag, "Here, let me..."
He snapped his fingers in front of the cigarette. Nothing happened.
"Just give me a sec here; I did this earlier, no problem."
He snapped his fingers a few more times.
"...Just- fuckin'- just- ah- c'mon..."
A small flame like that of a candle sprang from his fingertips.
"Got it!"
He lit and took a quick draw on the cig before passing it to Simon.
"Yeah, that's the stuff. Anyway, I'mma stick these trunks in our room and then we can all get to know each other, feel me?"
Without waiting for an answer, he began moving the two remaining trunks into his and Simon's dorm.

Buju felt a certain kind of levity the moment he came in dragging his stuff into the dorms. His necklace swung around by the weight a metallic mirror . He wanted to feel almost calm and normal now, however his situation was far from normal. After all his conversation with his partner who also was his gal was happening mentally while observed the area through his medallion! "Hey 'Dri you remember where the hell we're even going? It's upstairs right?"

Simon eagerly took the cigarette, as he released his left hand's grip on the white flag. He took a deep drag from the cigarette, as he glanced around. He nodded towards Shiloh, "Are you sure you don't need any hel-" Then he noticed that Shiloh didn't even wait for an answer. Simon simply shrugged, as he held onto the white flag with his right hand. He took another drag on the cigarette as he glanced at the two others.

Oh yes, this does help calm the nerves. Yes, yes it does. he thought to himself as he glanced around, still wary, but not as wary as before.

Adrienne nodded her head "yes" and held up three fingers. She mock-curtsied to Marcel.
(Tell him yourself.)
Adrienne waggled a finger at her familiar, drawing an invisible zipper across her lips and flicking it away.
(No. I refuse to take part in this. It's an absurd tradition and I will not enable you.)
Adrienne rolled her eyes and shrugged as she pulled a carton of cigarettes from her back pocket and lit one.
(Give me a cigarette.)
Adrienne continued smoking.
(Adrienne, I know you can hear me.)
She tapped the mirror with her cigarette slowly and deliberately, the ashes fading out of existence as they fell.
(...She says it's upstairs on the third floor.)
Adrienne smirked as she placed the half-smoked cigarette into the cuttlefish's beak and patted it on the mantle.
(Yes, yes, I'm sure you're very proud of yourself.)

Getting up from the mess of luggage that her brother had so narrowly warned her about, Maya got up and gave a cursory scan to make sure nothing was broken, but continued on her clumsy path of destruction. Along the way, a man with red hair greeted her, to which she replied, "A good day to you too!" However, since her voice wa somewhat deep for a woman, Renee's assumptions of her gender may go unchallenged. When she arrived outside, she stood dramatically in the doorway. Then she crouched down and leaped into the air before landing with a heavy thud. "This is amazing!! You're not supposed to be able to jump in armor like this! Being a knight is awesome!" She looked over and saw there was a commotion. Upon closer inspection, Maya saw a woman arguing with Mr. Krey. Then Maya realized she had seen the woman before, the daughter of the noble house of Kabal. Emily?" Maya asked.

"Thanks babe" he said back to her and the squid. The wooden planks of the stairway creaking under the weight of his steps. He eventually made it through the corridors and into the room. With a kick the door flung open and Buju got to the process of unpacking. Clothing set aside he then began to deal with the tools of his art placing them into the corner so as not to get in the way.

Having finished the unpacking he then threw on his whitish trench coat on and re arranged some mirrors and then left. "So you're gonna fly solo or you want me to bring you somewhere?" he asked Adrienne again. After receiving an answer he'd then went downstairs to wander around the grounds.

Adrienne shook her head and wandered off through the corridors of the Maze, coming to a stop in a bared blade mounted in the foyer.

Damien Krey, head of the grey dorm, looked at the student in front of him. What a peculiar threat. "Any unauthorized combat is forbidden at this school. Though, if you want to behead someone, try the Archmage, Dean Varrfel, as he is the one who decides who goes where." His grey cloak blew in the wind, which was not too heavy, as he looked, un-phased, at Emily. It was as if he was a brick wall, standing against a bear. Correction, a crazy bear.
