Sinking, sinking ever so slowly, it’s almost as if you’re floating. Are you sinking in water? It is hard to move, but you don’t resist it. Instead, you let yourself fall, only opening your eyes towards the end. As if on instinct, you bring yourself to an upright position. Your feet touch what you think is the floor, only for it to erupt around you. Birds of purest white scatter, revealing an image underneath your feet. Shaded mostly pink, you see several silhouettes scattered around. Seven of them, to be exact, each surrounded by a heart with a crown placed above each heart. Before you can inspect it further, however, a voice calls out to you.

“Good, you’re here at last. Can you walk?”

You take a step forward, as if to confirm the voice’s suspicions, and you look around. The birds are long gone and only darkness surrounds you. Where could the voice be coming from?

“It’s alright.” It continues, reassuring you. “All is well at the moment, but your entire world has been lost to darkness. It is not the first or the last world to perish. The darkness will soon overcome everything…but that doesn’t mean your existence will come to an end. No, instead…it will be the beginning of your journey.”

For some reason, you aren’t alarmed to this news. While worries do poke the back of your head, you feel that you need to listen; you remain quiet, hoping for more explanation, though your eyes return to the silhouettes.

“You will learn who they are once you and I meet.” The voice continued. “Yes, we will meet…you and several others, in fact. Your destinies have become intertwined, you see, though not all of you may be allies. Still, it will be…interesting to see who ends up where. For sometimes even the gentlest soul may give in to the darkness, and the person with the most secrets ends up having the brightest light.”

Those words have your thoughts buzzing again, though the sound of glass cracking catches your attention. You look down, and to your horror, you realize the ground is breaking. You try your best to remain steady, but even when you are still it continues to crack.

“There is no need to be afraid.“ It says to you. “For now you will join the others, and myself, to the world where those scattered from their homes meet. Until then, farewell.”

Your body drops through the glass, falling once more. The scattered remains of the floor glow around you. You feel a warmth, despite your situation. Another voice calls to you, this one much gentler then the first, but you can’t quite understand what it’s saying. The glass pieces dissipate into light, temporarily blinding you, and just as you feel yourself fade away, the gentle voice speaks once again:

“You’re my only hope.”

The night told of few stars in the night sky, with one in particular flickering. A black haired man was at the cafe at this time, a drink before him, though his attention was given to that particular, flickering star. His blue eyes watched it warily, showing no surprise once the light faded. With a heavy sigh, he shook his head. Once more, another world lost to the darkness. How long would this continue?

"Would you like another?" A waitress asked him, temporarily distracting him.

He shook his head, placing the munny needed to pay on the table. "No, thank you. I had best be off." He responded kindly. He began to walk, though to where exactly, he was uncertain--he let his Keyblade lead him. No longer would he wait around, he had grieved long enough for his fallen world. Vengeance was not the name of it, no, it was in the name of justice that he decided to act.

He summoned his Keyblade, a bright light enveloping his hands as he did so, and pointed it at the sky. From it, a bright light shined, and it soared into the sky. The light then scattered, spreading throughout Traverse Town. Whoever owned a brother or sister to his weapon--that is to say, his fellow Keyblade Wielders--would receive this light, and it would lead them to him.

For now, he would wait.
The shops were closed; rarely was there ever a soul in the Second District. Still, she could feel several lights and darknesses in this world. The pink haired girl was certain as she sat atop the bell tower--after all, she only came here because she felt them, too. Still, an even greater darkness lurked nearby, but where was it coming from? It was close; she could feel her own heart's light shrinking away from it.

She would not find one of the chosen ones here, no. But then, where should she go next? At that moment, she noticed a bright light shoot into the sky. She stared at it, watching it dissipate and scatter. "Monico..." She voiced, somewhat surprised, but he wasn't her concern at the moment. She then dropped down, and pulled on the rope. The bell began to toll, beckoning the attention of whoever was around. Surely, she would catch their attention this way.
"Gather around, little ones, it's rude to keep people waiting."

Maleficent turned to the source of the voice, the slightest frown on her face. "Kerra." She stated the girl's name as she approached her. "Did I not give you a task?" She firmly reminded her.

The black haired girl gave a shrug in response, placing on hand on her hip as she stared back at her so-called mistress, so to speak. Of course she did, that didn't mean she had to go and do it right this second. "I wanted to greet the little ones. They should know who's in charge." Kerra responded quite nonchalantly, though she gave a somewhat uncharacteristic chipper smile. "It's not fair that you get to have all the fun."

"To those who would wish to control the darkness, it is an opportunity and it is done by will." Maleficent spoke. "My dear child, if you want something, you have to pay the price."

"Yeah, but hunting down a bunch of prissy princesses isn't any fun at all." Kerra pouted. "Besides, I already got one, remember? Or did you forget all my hard work of unlocking the keyhole so that the darkness could consume the world?"

The two were of the same path, but clearly did not understand one another. No, the young girl was much too wild, too chaotic. She was difficult to please, and would rather wreck a town then actually do something that was important. Maleficent actually admired that, but with such power, she had specifically asked her to do one thing, and the child insisted on going against her orders. The Mistress of all Evil preferred to be discreet, to corrupt, to be patient. Kerra had no idea why anyone would go through all that trouble when all you needed to do was fight to get your way.

Alas, the two would still work together--with Maleficent reminding Kerra exactly who was in charge.

"Fine, whatever, you win." Kerra waved her hands in defeat, opening up a Dark Corridor. "I'm moving on, then. Be sure to give the little ones my love, will you?"

Once she had disappeared, Maleficent turned to more...important matters. Several lost souls had made their way to this world, the place where everyone went that had lost their world. Whether it was luck, skill, or whatever, they would end up here, in Traverse Town. Some were like Kerra, gifted with an affinity for darkness, and Maleficent would go to greet them.

She actually looked forward to it.

Kazeko groaned as she opened her eyes and stared at the grey ceiling above her. She groaned and placed her hand on her forehead and asked "Wha...? Where...Where am...I?" Her head felt fuzzy and clouded, like she just woke up from a very long dream-filled sleep. She turned only to feel nothing supporting her after she turned and she yelped, falling to the ground. She moaned "Owwww! That hurt!" She looked up to where she fell from to see that she had been sleeping on a green couch. She stood up and looked to see that she was in a shop of sorts, with a warm, lit, and homey fireplace. She heard a voice say to her, "Kupo! You're awake! Kupo! I thought you were going to be sleeping forever, the way you slept so heavily!"

Kazeko looked at the source of the voice to see that it was a small white creature with a red thing coming from the head. She had no idea what it was, but it was just so cute! She wanted to squeal and hug the cute thing, but she shook her head and immediately composed herself as the memories came back to her. What happened to her home? What was that blue weapon thing that appeared in her hand then? What happened to her family? Her friends? Were they....? She shook her head again, denying the possibility that her home and the people she cared about could be dead, and keeping possible tears from falling, as she asked "Um....Where am I?" The thing answered her in its cute voice, "Kupokupo! You are in Traverse Town! Specifically you're in the accessory shop!" Kazeko mumbled "How did I get here?" The thing seemed to give her a light glare, and nodded towards the ceiling. She followed the thing's gaze and she saw that there was a giant hole that showed the clear night sky, right above the couch where she slept.

Kazeko gave a hesitant smile and she said "Oh...Oops," The moogle seemed to sigh and he commented "Kupo...I understand it wasn't on purpose. But you owe me for repairs! This looks like it will cost 1000 munny!" Kazeko raised an eyebrow and she asked "Munny? I'm afraid I don't have any munny on me,". The shopkeeper then said "Figures. Still, come back when you can pay the debt, ok?" Kazeko nodded and said "I will. Thanks," She then left the accessory shop and stood at the steps that led to the plaza. She looked around, noticing how everything was definitely nothing like her home.

She mumbled "This really is strange. Am I sure I'm not daydreaming again?" She stepped forwards, and as she did a bright light appeared floating in front of her face. She blinked and asked "Huh?" and when the sound of a bell rang loudly, she jumped slightly out of being startled, causing her foot to miss the stairs entirely. She yelped as she fell down the front stairs and landed harshly on the ground in the Traverse Town square. She groaned answering her own question, "Ow! Yeah...I'm sure," She then looked up to see the light dart to the side and float towards a man with black hair, blue eyes, wearing white clothes in the cafe. She blinked. This guy didn't seem bad, maybe he could answer some questions? She stood up and dusted herself off before she headed over to the man with black hair and she started, "Excuse me-" However before she could get her first question out, the strange weapon appeared in her hand once again, eliciting a look of confusion on Kazeko's face. Why did this appear? The man with the black hair wasn't one of those small black creatures.

"Ehhhhh...close the window mom...I don't want to get up yet" Arthur complained as he felt a chill breeze hit him. When nothing happened, he groaned again "mooom...It's still dark. Please...let me sleep"

'A knight would be ready to get up at any hour' he knew she was going to say to tease him awake. He knew why she did it...but that didn't make it any less effective. However, to his surprise...nothing happened. That put him on alert. It was then that Arthur noticed a few things, or rather, he noticed a few missing things; like his blanket, his pillows, and his bed of all things. Now feeling worried, Arthur opened his eyes and found himself in a strange alleyway that didn't look like it anywhere close to his home

"W..what?" This was not good; he had no idea where he was, how he got here, or even how to get home...and he was all alone. "Come on Arthur...be brave. A real Knight wouldn't be scared of something like this...oh who am I kidding, I'm not a Knight. I don't even have a Weap-" and that's when it appeared in his hand with a flash of light; it was a sword, but not just any sword, it was a sword almost as big as him. "Gah! Where did this come from!? And why can I life it!?" While it was indeed heavy, it was nowhere near as much as a sword that size should be. "This...this can't be real. Not if swords like this are just appearing out of nowhere" getting up to his feet, Arthur conditioned talking "yeah...that's right; this has got to be some kind of-GAH!" He was interrupted when, not used to the weight of the weapon, he stumbled and fell down. "That hurt..." realization dawned on him "...that hurt. You can't feel pain in a dream. That...that means that all of this...is real. I have no idea how to get back home"

”Pfft. Nerd. What do you think you're doing here?”

“I-I'm going home....is that a pr-problem?”

“Are you trying to be smart with me!?” The young boy was shoved by the larger boy, crashing to the ground. “Looks like I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson again.”

A groan escaped Mino's lips as he rolled over. He soon found that there was no room upon the cold stone that he laid again, rollling right into another stone structure. This wasn't a cause for alarm, though. He remembered that asshole, Marcus, beating him up. He was probably just left in the alleyway. Reaching over away from her, he tried to grasp at something to help him up...and found it in the stone framework beside him. His fingertips found wetness as he grasped it.

This made his eyes snap open. A fountain? He looked around cautiously. He kneeled now beside a fountain, bright lights surrounding it with a statue placed on the end. Whipping himself around, he found himself surrounded by the odd sights. He was in a large square, ramps leading up towards doorways with a few houses strewn about to the sides. The only thing he registered was how he had never recognized this place before. It wasn't his hometown. Hell, it wasn't any other town he'd been too, albeit he hadn't been to a lot. What the hell had Marcus done to him? Was he dead? Was this where you go when you die? No, it was too bright...it looked too much like a normal town. It did have an odd eery feeling to it, though...

Frowning a bit, he shook his head, pushing his glasses back up onto the bridge of his nose. His blue eyes scanned the scene again, trying to pick up any clue on where he was. He found it, though, in the two woman overlooking the square he had been laying in. Both wore black, though one appeared to be closer to his age while the other was an older woman, holding a staff at her side. Then he watched the impossible as the younger girl seemed to summon darkness to her, disappearing into the small portal she made.

“Darkness...?” He winced as his hand went to his head. He saw flashes of images briefly. Shadows moving around the alleyway. Screams of terror. What had happened while he had been unconscious? He supposed there was only one way he might find out...

Hesitantly, he took a step forward, making his way towards the ramp leading up to the woman who remained.

Thalesin woke up with a start, tumbling off of the place he had been laying onto the hard ground below. "Ouch," he mumbled to himself sitting up and stretching ",Guess that storm is over and I can finally get home. Boy do I have a story to share."

He stood up eyes opening and blinking a few times to get rid of what grogginess he might of still had. He did not notice at first the street lamps providing the light that he believed to be coming from the warm sun of his world. He did not notice he was surrounded by buildings, only taking them in as being rock formations. When his eyes finally focused and saw that he definitely was not in the cave he had fallen asleep in, he stumbled back in shock, falling on a bench which was where he had been before awaking here. The question now was what was here exactly? Where was he even. Thalesin only remembered that he had escaped a terrible storm that had appeared out of no where on his way home after a day of fun and activities with friends. The black clouds had brought mighty winds and a waterfall of rain. He had found a cave to escape the weather and figured he would wait it out. As he had entered the cave though something drew him in, a soft whisper it sounded to his ear. Deeper and deeper he had gone into the cave, not knowing truly why. Into the depths he had gone until walking into a large cavern containing the ancient ruins of some forgotten age, but the ruins were not what attracted his attention, it had been the sword.

As he thought about the sword while he was on the bench, he felt cold metal between his fingers, and it wasn't the bench. He looked down and his eyes widened once more nearly popping out of his head. In his hand was the hilt of the same sword he saw, a sword that he had believed to only reside in legends and old tales. A sword believed to be made from the very essence of moonlight and crafted from a might foe vanquished by a powerful knight. A sword that had quelled great evil and brought peace to the realms. He looked in awe at it. Surely he still must be dreaming, first the buildings, this place, and now the sword. None of it could be real. He pinched himself and felt a jolt of pain leaving him to realize it wasn't a dream.

Thalesin was interrupted by his thoughts when he heard the music of a bell. He looked across the square that resided a little down the way from the buildings to see a bell tower."Maybe we can get some answers there. Doesn't seem anyone else is around to ask and someone has to be ringing it, hopefully they are still there.," he said standing up, sword now resting on his shoulder. He walked down the streets toward his destination in hopes of finding answers as well as a feeling of excitement building within. He had always wanted to travel and now it seemed he was getting that chance. To have his own adventure with a legendary sword. He might of not known why but part of him didn't care at the time.

Pain ran through Zen’s body as he slowly regained consciousness, his eyes twitching and his head pounding as he tried to figure out why he was feeling this way. If not for the sudden breeze and wetness he felt below him he would have shut his eyes and ignored it. Zen opened his eyes and quickly sat up only to have a dizzy spell hit him almost making him lay back down but he resisted the urge as alarm bells rung in his mind about how off all of this was.
His vision was blurry for a moment but once he could see clearly he blinked in utter confusion seeing he was outside which didn't make sense as he was positive he was in his house moments ago. Zen looked down and noticed he was lying in water that seemed to be going down a long drain that seemed to go on forever.

He stood up ignoring the clothing sticking to his body before looking around, it seemed he was in some kind of alley next to what he assumed was a hotel, he could see lights decorating the area around him and has nice as it was he knew this wasn't his home, it didn't even look like anyplace near his home.
His thoughts returning to home he clutched his head with his hand, he was eating dinner and then…that’s it…everything goes black when he tries to think back further.
In the end Zen let out a small ‘tch’ and stepped out of the water onto the sidewalk before deciding to walk around, it didn't matter where he was he intended on getting home as soon as possible.

Zen walked down the long street looking around at the buildings surrounding him, this really didn't look like any of the places near his home granted it was a long drive to get to the nearest city but none looked like this. Whatever this place was it looked cleaner than the other cities, under different circumstances he'd be tempted to get his shopping done while he was here, still the fact remained he didn't have anything in his pocket since he was home at some point and he woke up here in some alley.
Walking around he still tried to find any trace of life, he tried digging in his memory a bit more since his head cleared a little during his walk, the only thing that came back to him was someone's voice, he wasn't sure what the voice said or even if it was real but it didn't help in explaining where he was. In the end it didn't matter why he was here or how he got here, he just needed to get home as soon as possible.

Zen moved a wet bang out of his eyes before pulling on his wet shirt, he wasn't sure how he was going to explain this when he got back as he headed down one of the many streets in this city. Zen came to a stop as he noticed a bright light rising towards the sky in the distance, the light seemed to be coming from the direction he was heading which made him hesitate moving in that direction again. Zen raised his right hand as the light spread before flexing his hand, a strange tingling sensation was coming from it and he was pretty sure he felt a warmth, he flexed his fingers a few times before quickly closing his hand waiting for the warmth to fade.
Once it was gone Zen turned around and headed in the opposite direction, he wasn't about to head in the direction of the giant bright pillar of light, he figured nothing good could from whatever the source was, while leaving he heard the ringing of a bell which he did his best to ignore as he continued moving.

After what seemed like hours of wandering Zen was starting to wonder how big this town was, thankfully he came across a sign that gave him a bit of indication where he was at, looking up at it he noticed that it said 'Third District' on it.
At the very least he should be able to find someone, when he picked up the sounds of voices he sped up a bit, once he was a little closer he noticed one of the voices stopped talking, he wasn't sure what their conversation was about but when he noticed who he assumed the voices were coming from he came to a complete halt.
A woman dressed in...well he wasn't entirely sure what to call that outfit but she was a person and hopefully could tell him which way to get home.
He also noticed that there was a young man nearby and unlike the woman he seemed dressed in a normal outfit, he stared at the two for a moment before sighing and making his way towards them shoving his hands in his pants ignoring the minor squish he heard.
"Oi you two, could you tell me what city I'm in?" Zen said speaking loud enough for both to hear.

The boy could feel the sunlight baring down at him and knew that while
the world was saying get up you lazy vagabond, his body could not
comply with the request at the moment. Klaus could not remember what
had happened the previous night, he merely assumed that in his
debauchery he had passed out and been thrown out by the pub's owner.
An all to familiar string of events which always made waking up the
next morning a struggle. After a minute or so, He stretched his limbs
before finally deciding to sit up right and open his eyes. To his
surprise he awoke to what seemed to be a different city. While even
this was not completely outside the realm of what Klaus considered a
fun time, the well traveled bard rarely found himself in an unfamiliar
town. As he had awoken outside in an alley rather than in a jail, he
couldn't of done anything to disruptive or so he thought.

"Well a new town with a whole new set of inns and pubs to get thrown
out of. If I'm lucky I may even wake up in a bed tomorrow. But what to
do while I bide my time"

Klaus got up and started to frantically search his pockets in hopes
that in his drunken stupor he had manged to scavenge together some
money for the mornings meal. Alas he had no such luck. In fact not
only did he have no money, the lyre he vaguely remembered playing the
previous night was also missing. The only things left in his
possession, other than his clothes were the set of daggers he kept
and a pendant which he he found in his pocket. The pendant was rather
nice, for a second Klaus contemplated pawning it but as he rather
liked it and decided against it. As he put the necklace on, the bard
mind could only think of how if he had any sort of instrument he would
be able to make some sort of coin by panhandling.

With a deep sigh he gave a final look around the small area he had
awoken in. Miraculously he found a pan flute which hadn't been there
the last time he looked. As he was still slightly groggy Klaus assumed
he must of somehow missed its presence and wasn't going to look a
gift horse in the mouth. A pan flute was not the most ideal instrument
but he would be able to make due. With that spoony bard left the
alley, playing the pan flute as he wandered around in search of a
place he could draw in a good crowd.

He had missed his chance as it appeared someone had already beat him to the punch. Just around the alleyway with the fire mark in which he had awoken a small group had begun to gathering around a peculiarly dressed woman. To openly appear as a witch without fear of burning at the stake, she was either extremely powerful or exceedingly brash one or the other it intrigued Klaus. The bard put away the pan flute and slowly saunter over.

Akuma was in a nightmare... he was dreaming of darkness, feeling helpless as he hears his sister scream. Akuma suddenly wakes up in a fright. Blinded by a light, and feeling the throbbing of his own head immediately realizing he was laying on his own sword Akuma sits up in a hurry “yowch!” Akuma yells rubbing his back were the sword rested on his back. Head pounding the light like razors to his eyes Akuma closes his eyes wondering if he had a hangover, before remembering he didn’t drink. Akuma squints his eyes, letting them adjust to the light noticing it is a light post. But not a normal light post like he was used to, this was an older light post like the ones you would see in history books.

Akuma feels something wet as he places his hand on the ground to stand up, he realizes half of his shirt is wet from the puddle he was laying in. “Great!” said Akuma “throbbing headache, my back hurts, and i am covered in water! Could this day get any better!?” Suddenly he hears a bell ring, “Bing bong!” Akuma grasps his head as the sound of the bell cause his head to pulse in agony. “Bing bong!” Akuma reels in pain, the bell rings a third time. At this point Akuma has had enough He yells at the top of his lungs “Hey! stop with the damn bell ringing!” The bell continues to ring, giving Akuma a terrible migraine. “Dammit fine! I’m going up there myself!” ignoring everything around him he walks to the bell tower in an angry stride.

He hated this. Everything about being here fucking sucked. He wasn’t home, he wasn’t in his own city, state, or whatever the hell you want to describe it as. Jaakuna just wasn’t at home and he hated it as all hell. He really didn’t like the place he was in. It was different, he wasn’t used to the idea of being in this place and he just didn’t like the odd look it had. The architecture was different, the people were different, and there were these things that floated. They were whitish tan or some other shade of that kind. They had these big red ball things attached to their heads and every sentence they spoke either began or ended with the word ‘kupo’. Like what the hell is that? Their style of standing out.

Jaakuna could only describe the area that he’s in as the plaza area. Like, there was that café and just certain things that made Jaakuna think of a plaza. Regardless, he didn’t care. He didn’t care that it was night time or that there was no one around. He didn’t even care that he was out and about and not sleeping the day away. There was just something that was keeping him up, but Jaakuna didn’t know. That was exactly why he chose to go just walk and walk around the town. He also decided to go roaming around.

Roaming and roaming, Jaakuna finds himself in the place that people have referred to as Second District. Yeah, a very cheerful name…not. Whatever, Jaakuna continues. He doesn’t know why he’s walking. The architecture is the same, though the way the city had been constructed was a little better in Jaakuna’s mind. He just continues on and then all of a sudden, he hears something that interests him. It’s something that he hasn’t heard since he got to this town.

“Is that the freaking Bell Tower I hear?” Jaakuna said.

Jaakuna looked around, hoping to get a good idea of where the bell tower was, but he just hears it going on and on. Eventually, as he walks through the second district, which should be dark, but the lights from the buildings and shops light up the district like a freaking Christmas tree or something like that. As Jaakuna was walking around, he heard the sound, but it was getting louder. That must mean he was getting closer and closer to it. “Shit, there it is again.” Jaakuna said as he turned a corner and there it was and what he saw was interesting.

“HEY YOU SONS OF BITCHES!!” Jaakuna yelled as he fast walked to where he saw people and waved to the people he saw near the Bell Tower.

Traverse Town.

According to the two children who had poked her with a stick to ensure she was alive, she was in a place where the lost gather. Kaz knew immediately what they meant—after all, she was among the lost—and for some reason, it brought to mind a very peculiar dream she had the day her world was invaded. You will join the others, an eerie voice had called out. To the world where those scattered from their homes meet. It all sounded too real at the time, and she could have sworn it wasn't a dream at all, but then she woke up on her bed. Kaz wanted to ask the children about it, hoping they might help her make sense of it all, but they scampered off before they could tell her anything more.

Instead, she spent the first hour after her awakening strolling about the so called town, noting with interest its strange architecture. The first step should always be to assess the situation and environment, then proceed from there. From what she gathered so far, the town was split into districts, each one quite different from the one before. She looked about the third and second districts first, but aside from a few people walking along the streets, she found nothing significant about them. At one point, she found herself distracted by the dark the night sky, and she took the time to wish on a flickering star. In her world, the more superstitious residents insisted that a wish placed on a flickering star always came true—she didn't believe them before, but now she hoped there was some truth to that.

She wished she understood what was happening.

As if on cue, a loud ringing sounded from the distance, and without warning a small orb of light appeared before her. It moved strangely, as though it was beckoning her, and it took Kaz all of a second before deciding to follow it. She wondered if she was imagining things again, but there was something familiar about it. Like she had seen it before… no, like it was meant for her. Overcome with curiosity, Kaz trailed after the light at breakneck speed, caring little where it took her. There were people that she passed by, but she had been too focused on the light to notice who they were. She was starting to get excited to see what was at the end of this. Could it be more of those shadowy invaders? A portal that explains all the world jumping? Or perhaps some odd machine that existed only in this new world?

Kaz imagined about twenty-eight different scenarios, but the light leading to a raven haired boy in a dark set of clothes wasn't one of them. He was at a café, and it seemed like he was waiting for something. There was another girl who had come just before her, and she had a guiding light as well. She came just in time to see a weapon materialize in her hand—one similar but somehow vastly different from her own anomaly. Upon close inspection, it seemed that the raven haired boy had one as well.

"Wow!" Kaz approached the two hurriedly, practically bouncing in her excitement. "You guys have that key thingy, too! How did you get it to appear again?"

Urik was quite sure that his arrival in this strange and wondrous place could never be described as anything more than excruciating. From the moment his eyes opened and his mind began to grasp at the thin, elusive tendrils of consciousness he was aware of an intense burning sensation that covered his body. Whatever form of magic or sorcery had brought him to this place had done nothing to consider his well-being and the transfer, from the feel of things, had been a rough one at best. Rising to his feet, the mage did his best to dust off the disheveled but still expensive looking robes that covered his form. Pausing to give himself a one-over, Urik could be sure that everything was still intact and operational, pain still withstanding.

It was at this point at the wayward traveler turned his attention to his surroundings. The various shops and personages that lit up the streets of Traverse Town were a sight to behold indeed. Their garb and manners of speech were somewhat alien to him, especially the little winged creatures which flittered about, always busy with some or another task. Urik was no stranger to alien creatures, but their smallish forms and strange verbal quirks were enough to arouse the slightest bit of curiosity from him. Unfortunately he was not given much time to dwell on the issue, to further dissect it. From the far end of town the chime of a bell-tower wrung out into the expanse of the never-ending night, alerting the traveler, calling to him. There was something explainable about the attraction, something about the sound which called too him, compelled him to seek out its origin.

The walk to the second district could be described as expected: slow. Not because the distance was necessarily long, but mostly because the so-called master of magic had never been one much for physical activity. Years spent inside sculpting the power of his brain had naturally left him deficient in a couple of other areas, although that wasn't to say he was grossly out of shape, at least that was what the mage told himself. The bell rang out twice more before his journey finally ended, Urik never happier to have reached his destination. So this was what it was like before the age of horses and carts? What a terrible world to have lived in. Pushing open the large double-oak doors, the black-haired teen revealed the expanse of the town's second section before himself. The most striking feature of his destination in question; the rise of the bell tower could be seen all the way from the first district but now, with it's form directly in front of him, its largeness became even more apparent. Within the vicinity of the tower a group of people had gathered, probably others like him heading the call of the bell, and so, with his natural curiosity Urik lingered on over, intent on joining their discussion and gaining what information he could.

A breeze shook the petals of the flora in the sill of the window, she was lucky she found this Hotel, but found herself on top of the roof, lazily pondering her destiny in this world. Never did she think she'd be away from the dense forests of her childhood , she missed the way vines would wrap around her feet and limbs if she remained lazing at a tree for too long, the way she could feel the freshness of the dirt under her feet, and the smell of flora. Her world was a garden, that it's people wouldn't dare perturb, it was only fate that this specific detail would be the downfall of not only her people, but her world. The only thing she knew for those long 17 years. She missed it unbearably, but what could she do? She felt that a world like her's was just another meal for whatever those creatures were, crawling around the ground like roaches, and slowly polluting the nature. The very thought of them sent shivers down her spine, crawling in-between sheets of darkness, into the crevices of her nightmares. She felt the need for vengeance like she never had before in her life.

From that point, the stars her eyes bore into grew blurry, as hot tears trailed down her cheeks. "What did I do to deserve this? Was I not strong enough?" she thought to herself, she summoned her own weapon in front her, twirling the spear as she tried to desperately recall the events that led to her world being shattered, and could think of nothing but the haze she was in when she awoke in this strange place. The architecture had her immediately confused, as she had never seen buildings so tall, and decorated, not only this but the lights blared into her sensitive eyes, and the people here were less than willing to help, it almost seemed as if they too had been through the same ordeal, she herself was too confused to ask. For now, she had to think of just what she could make of herself here, how could she seek to restore the life she once knew, the only life she knew. She sat up from her laid position, wiping the now dried tears from her eyes, and resting her arm on her pale knee. She looked to the stars once more, her cerulean eyes noting the possibility that there were many different worlds out there for her to seek her answer. She noted this with a sullen expression on her face.

"What shall I do now?"

She twirled the lance around with her nimble fingers, relishing in the polished wood, and at the same time trying to distract herself from the present situation. The slowly moving pool of water below her seemed to calm her mind a lot more than it, and it was only then that her distraction was interrupted by the ringing of a Bell, which sent slight ripples through the water. She stood up from her position and turned her attention to the horizon, the tallest tower far to the North of the district she was in was somewhat noticeable among the burgundy rooftops, from here she knew she could scale easily to the other side, but wondered just why this particular instance should call to her. Either way, it was a strange time for any bells, and her naturally curious disposition led to her running and jumping across rooftops with relative ease until she could see the gatherings of a small, strange group around the bell tower. She had no desire to get in the middle of all the attention the bell ringer had attracted, so instead she opted to sit, and dangle her feet on one of the closer buildings. She was close enough to hear most any conversation, and no doubt it would be loud with the amount of people there. She crossed one leg over the other, waiting to see how things would proceed from here, and at the same time wondering if this rag tag group was much like her, ailing from a lost home and looking for answers.
